I love rewrite but I'm not very fond of rewrite prime for a few reasons, so heres my retake and attempt at explaining why/how rewrite prime is able to do the things they can do!
Tumblr media
Starting off, rewrite has the ability to trap souls in rings, it's not until one day while doing research about sonic the hedgehog as a franchise, they tamper with a sonic CD rom that teleports them to Majin's realm. After a run-in with him he eventually comes to the realization that they are not the only "sonic" to exist and there are other power beings like rewrite, which infuriates them as an AI as they were made with the sole purpose of being god, if they can't serve that purpose then they are "obsolete".
Tumblr media
Currently a rough timeline of how rewrite prime's story is like. The phantom void/antimatter feeling that rewrite prime gets is due to their future selfs influence, Lord X's void is enough to leak into past iterations of rewrite prime even before they even consider taking down Lord X. Rewrite prime is destined to die in a fight with Lord X but the void is what powers them and brings them back to life. (also the original rewrite is the fourth ring needed to ascend to absolute godhood.)
Tumblr media
Finally, their final prime form. It's simple and straight to the point as rewrite has gained limitless power from the void and cannot contain a vessel any longer. Rewrite prime with this new power does not trap souls or force them into games, instead they symbolize death and take souls to give them eternal nothingness (void!)
This is all I have now but if enough people are interested I may expand on it more and whatnot ^_^

I loved your neo chaos sonic au
If it's okay to ask could you tell us more about it👀👀
Oh! Of course!
Frankly I haven't done much world building for it, since I have other AUs who are utter attention whores and life just LOVES to make me unable to draw for some stupid reason or another. But I do have some simple concepts I would love to share! If you feel like you can bare my aimless rambling, feel free to read the rest under the cut.
First off, setting. Generally speaking, Neo Chaos Sonic's timeline takes place after the events of Season 2's finale and the early portion of season 3's episode one.
But instead of Building Alpha Grim Sonic after a lot of dilly dallying on Nine's part, he decides to fight fire with fire. (And maybe he's a little scared of being alone, although he would never admit it.)
So he rebuilds Chaos Sonic instead. And to insure that he'll be able to beat Sonic, Nine decided to give him untethered access to the Paradox Prism.
This of course leads to Chaos Sonic deeming his normal build being to... Easy to deal with. And he is allowed a modicum of freewill by Nine. So who is he if he does not ascend to godhood to ensure the plan's execution? It's gonna be a temporary upgrade. And Nine did give him full access to the Paradox Prism.
Leading to this beautiful outcome!
Tumblr media
It's a MAJOR upgrade. And it comes with a hip skirt! And who is she to go against a hip skirt?
After choosing a new form of befitting of his newly born Goddess status, NCS decides to make the Grim their perfect little paradise. Their powers are simple, as she is all powerful but not all knowing or anything.
NCS can change their appearance however she sees fit. Although due to his vanity, he mostly stays hedgehog robot shaped. And generally before war is brought to her doorstep, she just stands about as tall as NMS would. So they definitely Tower over Sonic and Nine easily. They also can pool liquid metal off of them and when the liquid metal touches the ground, they become Grim Sonic Troopers. All of which seem to reflect different small aspects of her personality. Also she has glitter beams and shit. He's a magical girl, they gotta have their glitter attacks.
After a while of their new arrangement, NCS stops referring to Nine as either "Best bud" or "Sir". And starts calling him Martyr or Prophet. Treating Nine as a prized possession and less like a friend or even someone they wish to protect and keep happy.
Nine isn't initially concerned about this though. Since he's certain that they are still loyal to him. Which is true, he is. But ultimately that loyalty does not outweigh her natural selfishness.
I believe that inevitably, there will come to pass a point where Neo Chaos Sonic decides to "sacrifice" Nine to herself. If only to make Sonic run a fool's errand. If you know ANYTHING about the ending of KH3 and the whole "Save the 7" segment with Riku? Like that. (For those who don't know, imagine Nine floating above an altar of some sort with his body partially transparent blue.)
I don't really know if Sonic and Co from prime would succeed, since I really just designed Neo Chaos Sonic for the sake of designing him. But I would say that in order to take down Neo, Sonic would need to brace the abyss™️ to find Shadow's missing Chaos Emerald. Since I'm a wedger a bet that Shadow would be logically able to use Chaos Control in the prism that Neo Chaos is using to power themselves. Buuut in order to do that, Shadow would have to get close enough.
There is the possiblity that allowing Sonic to shatter himself would fix everything too. But ultimately I have no clue cuz I just haven't thought far yet.
Overall, the AU is very shallow at the moment. And seeing as I have other far more complex AUs I'm working on, it might be this way for a while. So, I'm sorry about that! But I did enjoy rambling a bit, albeit a bit aimlessly.
I just really love this design and I really love how pretty they came out! Neo Chaos Sonic is a treat of a concept to me, since I adore Neo Metal Sonic. Favorite flavor of Mets to be honest. And I figured a Neo form for Chaos Sonic would do them good!

Hello! I’d also love to talk about Sonic Prime :) Here are several questions for you. 1) Who is your favorite shatterspace character? 2) What’s a scene or moment (maybe you can pick one per season if you’re struggling to choose) that just made you ascend because the acting or the animation or the execution of themes was just that good? 3) What’s a headcanon you have related to Prime?
1. Nine is probably one of my favorite recent Sonic characters for many reasons. He's an interesting looks at what Tails could have been, and his villain arc is really well-written. If that answer is too obvious then....Dread. He's a mess but I love that he gave up his captain status, much better than the crew crawling back to him.
2. Maybe it's because season 3 is still fresh on my mind, but I can't stop thinking about that scene where Sonic gives himself up to Nine, fully expecting to die, and just wants him to know they're still friends no matter what.
3. I'm actually working on a post regarding how the Paradox Prism and the Shatterspaces work. It should be out tomorrow

I know this will sound kind of weird but I kind of want Sonic underground to come back. Mainly because, if it wasn't for the Lore, the character design, the character personality, and the music. It wouldn't have touched me in the way it did. I don't care what people think. I really want Sonic underground to come back because it could be turned back into a good show.
The problem was it just wasn't given a good ending are any ending for that matter. The only show that was given a real ending was Sonic X & Sonic Prime. So I'd love to see this show return as a reboot or a completely different show! Maybe even Paramount could go ahead and make Sonia and manic in 3D. Maybe even make Manic & Sonia part of baby Sonic's past. If they actually do that that will make my life complete I literally ascend and make this show my favorite show, it would be great to see Paramount do something that nobody could! If they would made a 2D show that was originally bad to some people, good!
Paramount, Sega, please bring back Sonic underground if it wasn't for the fact that the show touched me in a way that no other show could I'm pretty sure I would have never thought about this. It's already been brought back and it's inside Paramount plus right now but I'd love to see a reboot or reanimated version where it actually has an ending or a new version where it has 3D graphics and better story for each episode.

I saw Transformers One with my girlfriend today and first of all fuckin awesome movie, awesome Transformers movie, I hope Paramount eventually does the same with Sonic and just goes fully animated instead of being seemingly somewhat embarrassed by the source material. But I noticed something- Transformers makes for a beautiful Gnostic parallel narrative.
*MASSIVE GIGANTIC SPOILERS FOR TRANSFORMERS ONE FOLLOW*
In the lore presented in Transformers One [which may be slightly different from the more mainline accepted canons], Cybertron was formed when Primus, essentially a god, BECAME the planet, and Primus sort of birthed the Primes, which could be read as lower gods. Prime or not, the sentient living metal beings of Cybertron are powered by "Sparks". One of the Primes, Sentinel Prime, acted foolishly and betrayed the others for his own personal gain of power, leading to the Matrix of Leadership vanishing and Energon ceasing to flow freely on Cybertron.
If you know anything about Gnosticism, this should already sound familiar. Primus can very clearly be read as the Gnostic Monad, "The One", God above all the Aeons he is made up of. The Primes are these Aeons, and Sentinel is both Sophia and Yaldabaoth- the foolish child who caused the entire system to nearly fall apart due to one massive misstep, and the false god of a broken world. Sophia's fall is Sentinel's fall. D-16 says at one point "they worship Sentinel" referring to the Cybertronians. The concept of a Spark is one that's blatantly obvious- in Gnosticism, humans are each made up of a Divine Spark having emanated from Monad and his Pleroma of Aeons, breaking through to the material universe; Sparks in Transformers are created of Primus as the core of Cybertron, and these Sparks are given physical handmade bodies or placed in mass production bodies.
When Orion Pax is shot by D-16 and dropped into the core of Cybertron, he is reborn as Optimus Prime. Primus, Monad, sees that this Divine Spark has ascended from Psychic to Pneumatic, the highest order of human, and bestows upon him the Matrix of Leadership and restored life, giving him a new physical body with which he can transform his world. D-16, on the other hand, begins the story as a Hylic and becomes a Psychic when he learns the truth about Sentinel Prime. But D's focus is still in the physical, material world- he sees killing Sentinel as the only way forward, while Pax understands that killing will do nothing to change the pain Sentinel has already caused. This is where the two's conflict and rivalry has its roots, Optimus Prime seeks to unite "all as one", mirroring the Gnostic idea of humanity's return to the divine creator and the Pleroma, while Megatron places his full focus on the ruling of Cybertron with an iron fist.
Optimus can also be interpreted as a Christ figure, but the similarities are a lot more shaky. In Gnosticism, Christ was and is a direct creation of Monad, Sophia, and the Pleroma, an intentionally created material human sharing a strong and direct tie to his Father. Orion Pax was simply a Divine Spark who ASCENDED to a Christlike status. This actually causes him to more closely resemble Moses from the book of Exodus, as Moses was a strong-willed man of God who spoke directly TO God and became the leader of the Biblical pre-Christ Jews in their flight from tyrannical Egypt.
I grew up Christian but I'm still confused on a lot of Gnostic concepts as I study it along with other philosophy, and I'm obviously a very new Transformers fan, so please let me know if I got anything super wrong.

For the video gaymer ask meme: 1-8
platform of choice when gaming
not to be annoying but sony is the console manufacturer i prefer. in a perfect world sony would not be the best of the big three and would instead easily be the worst. but we live in a society that does not value men who. how does the full quote go idk it
2. top 5 games of all time
in ascending order: shin megami tensei: persona 3, sonic adventure 2: battle, fire emblem, phantasy star online: episode I and II plus, shin megami tensei: nocturne. the top 2 have been fairly set in stone for several years now, and the remaining 3 have fluctuated among the top 10 or so but this feels most correct. sad that the 6th place snub is FFXII 💔
3. favorite boss
NONE OF THEM!!!! #antiwork anyways i'm not sure what i would use as a criteria for this. i think i'm gonna go with the master from fallout because it really is just the most well done encounter in any RPG imo. if there's a "favorite final boss" question i'll kms because this would be my answer for that one.
4. favorite OST
here since i already answered this i'll just isolate some of my favorite tracks off the top of my head: "Dark Samus Boss Fight" - Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, "Miller Ball Breakers" - Jet Set Radio, "Kopfsprung" - Ever17, "You Blow My Mind" - Street Fighter III: Third Strike, "This is True Love Makin'" - Capcom vs. SNK 2, "Distant Travels" - Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade, "Climbing to the Top" - Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, "Hoist the Sword with Pride in the Heart" - Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City, "Their Own Brand of Justice" - Etrian Odyssey III: The Drowned City (yes it gets two entries. fatlus, remember), "Demon of Darkness" - Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor, "Septentrione" - Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2, "Changing Seasons" - Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3, "Lovely Gate 3" - Sonic Adventure 2, and, if you've actually read this entire list, we must end with the classic "NO MORE NO MORE HEROES" - No More Heroes.
5. most memorable game moment
any time i see this prompt on asks like this my mind immediately and distinctly goes to one of the plot twists of zero time dilemma, specifically one regarding D team. i won't say what it is, but all i will say is that it had me going "SHUT THE FUCK UP. . . NO FUCKING WAY" for like 5 mins straight. the ending of drv3 is also up there on the same level of memorable.
6. first game you ever played
probably the original super mario bros. on NES at a family member's house. it's much harder to delineate what was the first game i meaningfully played on my own. i'm tempted to say something like mario kart 64.
7. most recent game you've played
trying to catch a calm lilleep from the dreamworld in white 2. before that, i was mat duping in PSO all of yesterday. i had 5 characters to do mat plans for, including TP materials (i got them with action replay. idgaf if you call that cheating because not having access to an entire material offline is stupid. 🤪). i had to stop at like 11:30 last night due to getting tired, but i only have like 400ish mats left to do, which is pretty decent all things considered.
8. most anticipated upcoming game
is "none of them" an answer? jkjkjkjkjk i wouldn't say i'm actively anticipating anything but i guess by default metaphor re:fantazio because i pre-ordered it and know nothing about it. i'm more interested in seeing what the fuck it's gonna be than i would say anything else. metroid prime 4 seems like an easy candidate for hype so i'm staying cautious. i never really wanted the prime trilogy to get a sequel and would've rather they just do their own thing like they did with dread. oh well.

Global Music Landscapes: A Fusion of Styles and Stories
In an era where streaming platforms and social media connect audiences with music from every corner of the globe, listeners are discovering a soundscape more diverse than ever before. With countless genres blending, and artists experimenting across linguistic and cultural boundaries, today’s global playlist embodies a boundless creativity. What was once strictly defined by language, region, or cultural tradition now transcends any single label. As fans jump seamlessly from hip-hop to Latin fusion, or from tender singer-songwriter ballads to timeless holiday classics, every track contributes to a richly layered musical tapestry. The impact of this cross-pollination can be felt not only in the charts, but also in listeners’ personal collections, where a single playlist might feature Atlanta trap, Latin pop, introspective acoustic tunes, and beloved seasonal anthems. This breadth of musical exchange exemplifies the depth and scope of today’s musical ecosystem, reminding us that music is one of the most powerful forms of global communication.
Cultural Bridges and Hip-Hop Innovation Hip-hop’s evolution is a prime example of music’s power to reshape cultural narratives. The trio migos has forged a distinct sound that blends rapid-fire lyricism, innovative ad-libs, and trap-infused production. Their influence stretches beyond the confines of U.S. rap, encouraging international artists to borrow stylistic elements and pushing producers to experiment with structure, rhythm, and melodic layering. As hip-hop morphs into new regional variants, it continually embraces fresh sonic textures—an outcome that stems from artists daring to break old formulas. Migos’ success encapsulates how once-regional subgenres now become global mainstays, inspiring countless listeners and musicians to test new territory and trust their creative instincts. In a world that increasingly values hybrid identities and multicultural dialogues, the stylistic fluidity of rap has become a powerful medium for storytelling and artistic innovation.
The Art of Introspection and Lyrical Honesty Beyond the heady beats and kinetic flows of rap and trap, quieter tunes also resonate deeply. Tracks like july lyrics noah remind us that the art of songwriting thrives when words are woven with authenticity and vulnerability. This type of music, which often resides in the acoustic or indie-pop realm, provides a gentle counterpoint to the intensity of mainstream hits. The balance between grand, genre-blending anthems and softly sung confessionals enriches our collective listening experience. Even in today’s dynamic musical climate—where tempo, production, and innovation are celebrated—there is space for a reflective hush, a moment of solitary emotion. Such introspective pieces ensure that music remains tethered to the human heart, allowing listeners to find comfort, understanding, and empathy within a personal narrative.
Timeless Holiday Cheer and Cultural Traditions The global conversation in music also welcomes familiar seasonal favorites that never lose their charm. Songs like josé feliciano feliz navidad transcend language and culture, reappearing each winter as a unifying anthem for the holiday season. This bilingual Christmas classic evokes nostalgia and warmth, proving that beloved melodies can remain culturally relevant for generations. Its yearly resurgence on radios, playlists, and public gatherings demonstrates how certain tunes become cornerstones of shared cultural identity. These timeless pieces remind us that while the musical landscape may continually shift, some traditions remain unwavering. The comfort found in returning to these familiar sounds each year speaks to music’s enduring ability to connect people across age groups, languages, and geographies.
Latin Pop’s Ascendancy and Global Reach The musical world’s fascination with Latin rhythms has catapulted Latin pop, reggaeton, and trap into mainstream consciousness. Tracks like bad bunny i like it lyrics embody this wave of cultural fusion, marrying Latin beats with hip-hop elements and pop hooks. This genre-crossing success shatters the myth that language barriers limit a song’s appeal. Instead, vibrant rhythms and catchy melodies have introduced new audiences to a rich tapestry of Latin influences. As these tracks soar to the top of global charts, they bring different musical traditions closer together. The message is clear: music’s emotional impact can surpass linguistic differences, making dance floors and headphones worldwide reverberate with shared energy and passion.
Emotional Resonance in Modern R&B While fusion and experimentation define much of today’s global sounds, genuine emotion remains the heart of all compelling music. The vulnerability expressed in all mine lyrics epitomizes the lasting importance of honest storytelling. Even as production techniques become more complex and the industry leans into cross-genre experimentation, raw feeling stays at the core of the listener’s experience. Such emotionally charged pieces provide a balancing act: they ensure that amidst the myriad styles competing for our attention, the soul of songwriting endures. When artists share their personal truths, they invite listeners to reflect on their own lives, forging a quiet bond that no amount of technical wizardry can replicate.
Conclusion: A Boundless Musical Journey The modern musical landscape is a place of infinite possibility. We find comfort in traditional holiday classics and excitement in Latin crossover hits. We embrace introspective singer-songwriters alongside assertive hip-hop innovators. As global audiences grow more receptive to new influences, music continues to evolve, inspired by an ever-widening array of cultural expressions. No single thread can encapsulate the entirety of today’s music scene; rather, it is the convergence of countless narratives, genres, and traditions that defines it. In this open, borderless environment, each note, lyric, and beat becomes part of a collective journey, reflecting the world’s complexity, diversity, and shared humanity.
