O Re Piya | Kylian Mbappé
Tumblr media
Pairing: Kylian Mbappé x f.Reader
Warnings: kissing, fingering.
Summary: It’s the day of your brother’s wedding, and you're running late. The main culprit: your handsy husband who can’t seem to control himself seeing you in a lehenga.
A/N: Hello, everyone! I’ve been MIA for a few weeks because I was dealing with a lot of personal issues. I wrote this sporadically and I really wanted to finish this for you guys. Please leave me feedback, I would greatly appreciate it. Enjoy, lovelies ❣️
Nazrein bolen duniya bole
(The glances are telling, the world knows)
dil ki zaban haaye dil ki zubaan
(The story of my heart, oh, the story of my heart)
Ishq maange ishq chahe koi toofan
(Love prays, love wishes for a hurricane (to stir the life within))
The sun rose high in the sky, painting the world in a warm and golden glow. The flowers, arranged with care and love, burst into full bloom, their petals as vibrant and colourful as the bride's lehenga. The sun's rays kissed each delicate petal, illuminating their beauty with an ethereal glow.
The gentle breeze danced through the trees, carrying with it the sweet scent of blooming flowers and the delicate rustling of leaves. The birds chirped merrily, their songs adding to the symphony of the day. The sound was a soft and soothing melody, one that filled the air with tranquillity and joy.
The guests, dressed in their finest attire, basked in the warmth of the sun and the beauty of the day, and the groom’s sister was still hidden from the common eye as she struggled to get ready, the emotional toll of the day a huge weigh on her delicate shoulders. Thankfully, her husband was out helping her family to lessen the burden and give her some breathing room to get ready.
As the young beauty came out of the bathroom leaving behind a cloud of jasmine and oud, her makeup delicately done to match the pink hues of her lehenga and her long black hair flowing down her back in delicate waves, her eyes were immediately drawn to the soft, delicate hues of her lehenga. A vision in light pink, the fabric flowed like a gentle stream, its folds and creases catching the light of the sun in a breathtaking display.
The intricate embroidery, painstakingly crafted by skilled artisans, was a masterpiece of intricate design, with every stitch and bead radiating its own unique brilliance. The shimmering stones, like sparkling stars in the sky, adorned the hem and neckline of the lehenga, casting a soft and iridescent glow.
She carefully slipped into the choli, the bodice fit her like a glove, accentuating her curves. Next, the young woman delicately dragged on the lehenga, the flowing skirt that trailed behind her seemed to float like a soft cloud, dancing around her legs with each step. She felt like one of those Disney princesses that she used to love as a little girl.
Her eyes caught the reflection in the mirror, and she gasped at the sight before her. The lehenga had transformed her, turning her into a radiant beauty. She reached for the matching dupatta, draping it over her right shoulder and allowing it to cascade down her back and flow in the front in a soft wave.
As she finished getting ready, spraying the perfume her beloved got her, spreading the rich aroma of amber and jasmine around the room,  her very own prince charming entered the room. His dark eyes widened, and his breath caught in his throat as he beheld her beauty.
"Mon amour," he whispered, his voice filled with wonder and desire, "you are absolutely stunning. How did I ever get so lucky to have you?"
His hands reached out to caress the delicate fabric of her lehenga, his fingers tracing the intricate embroidery with awe. His gaze lingered on the gentle curve of her waistline, the soft curve of her hips, and the delicate tilt of her plump lips.
A warm blush crept up her cheeks as she closed her eyes and basked in the sweet affection of his touch, savouring the feel of his hands on her skin. “Kylian…arrête. We need to be downstairs, they’re waiting for us.”
"Mmm, bébé. Je suis fou de toi," he murmured, his voice low and husky with lust. "You take my breath away, mon amour. You are like a goddess, come to earth to bless me with your beauty."
She felt her cheeks darken as he whispered words of adoration and love into her ear. Her heart swelled with affection and gratitude for this man who made her feel like the most beautiful woman in the world.
Kylian drew her close, his arms wrapping around her waist, pulling her into his embrace. He pressed his lips to the nape of her neck, trailing kisses down her smooth skin each one filled with deep and abiding love that she felt deep in her bones. Her body responded to his touch, her skin igniting with a fire that burned hot and bright. She revelled in the sensation of his hands on her body, leaning into him, his touch igniting her senses and sending her heart racing.
But even as her desire for him grew, she knew they couldn't stay here forever. They needed to join the rest of the family, to celebrate her brother's wedding. People would get suspicious if they didn’t come down, especially as the groom’s older sister, her presence was imperative.
"Kylian, we need to go," she murmured, her voice tinged with reluctance. "Everyone is waiting for us."
The young football star groaned in frustration, his hands tightening around her waist. "Just a few more minutes, ma chérie," he pleaded. "I can't resist you in this lehenga. You look so beautiful."
Despite the minutes ticking away, she smiled at his words, slowly losing the will to push him away. “Kylian, s’il-vous-plaît, we need t-”
Kylian’s lips found hers in a fierce, passionate kiss, cutting her off. The flames of desire and passion that had been building between the two lovers erupted and surrounded them in an inferno. Kylian's hands roamed freely over her body, tracing the curves of her hips and the gentle slope of her breasts. She moaned softly, her body responding to his touch with a fire that burned deep within her. Her fingers tangled in his hair, pulling him closer as he kissed her hungrily, his hands trying to reach every part of her body with increasing urgency.
She felt his muscles tense under her fingertips as he lifted her effortlessly, carrying her towards the bed. He lay her down gently, his eyes never leaving her as he hovered over her, his breath hot on her skin. Looking into his eyes, she felt an indescribable emotion pass through her, it was as if every particle in her body was intertwining with her beloved’s. The surge of emotions made her breathless as she gently cradled Kylian’s face in her hands. “Je t’aime si fort, Ky.”
Kylian’s intense gaze softened slightly as he turned slightly to kiss her hand, “Je t’aime, mon coeur. You’re my everything, my complete half. I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t have you in my life.”
His confession brought tears to her eyes. A single drop threatened to fall but he gently wiped it, summarizing in that moment all that he was to her.
Chalna aahiste ishq naya hai
(Tread carefully as this love is new)
Pehla Yeh Vada Humne Kiya Hai
(This is the first time I've taken a vow)
Uniting their lips in a soft embrace, Kylian gently swiped her bottom lip with his tongue. She obtained her mouth to let him in, as their tongues came together in a passionate dance that sent sparks to her every extremity. As they grew needy, Kylian's hands roamed over her body with an intense hunger, his lips trailing down her neck, pausing to nuzzle against her collarbone. She gasped in pleasure as he continued to explore her body, his touch igniting sparks of pleasure that spread through her like wildfire.
His fingers found their way to the soft curves of her breasts, and he squeezed them gently, eliciting a soft moan from her lips. “Kylian, more.”
His touch was electric, sending waves of desire through her body. She arched her back, pressing herself into him, eager for more of his touch. Kylian's fingers kneaded her breasts with increasing urgency, his touch growing more intense as he sought to pleasure her. He toyed with her nipples, flicking them with his thumb and forefinger, causing her body to tremble with delight. She moaned his name, her breath coming in short gasps as she surrendered to his touch.
One of his hands trailed down her lehenga lifting it up with urgency so he could explore wet heat between her soft thighs. His breathing grew ragged as his fingers brushed the soaking lacy fabric.
“Kylian, we can’t. We have to go,” she protested while pushing herself into his fingers for more friction. “Bébé, let me just make you feel good, oui?”
He pushed her panties to the side and shoved two fingers in her tight eat as she let out a loud moan. Kylian didn't want to silence her wanting to hear her moan her name in that breathless, needy tone.
He curved his fingers reaching that spot that had her eyes crossing as she clung to his muscled back, desperate whimpers leaving her painted lips. Kylian buried his face in the valley of her breasts, his tongue leaving a wet sheen that gleamed in the sunlight.
As the knot in her stomach tightened, Kylian increased his pace, his fingers and mouth working in perfect harmony to drive her to the brink of ecstasy. She clung to him desperately, her nails digging into his skin as she surrendered herself to his touch.
“Ky-Kylian, I’m gonna cum. Please, let me cum,” she begged as the pleasure was too much.
“Cum, bébé. Cum for me.”
Searing hot pleasure raced through her body, as she exploded, tightening around Kylian’s fingers which were still thrusting at a steady, helping her through her orgasm.
As she came down, her breathing hard and cheeks high with colour, she opened her eyes to Kylian looking down at her with soft eyes as he placed delicate kisses on her face.
“Hi, mon coeur. Enjoy yourself?” he asked cheekily. Giggling she grabbed his cheeks and bit his nose playfully. “You know I did it, you cheeky brat.”
A loud knock on the door made them both freeze, the moment shattered by the intrusion. "Kylian, Y/N, it's time to go! The baraat* is ready!" called out a voice from outside the door.
“Coming!”, she answered slightly panicked. Pushing her husband off and rushing to the mirror. Her lehenga choli was a little crinkled, and her mascara was smudged under her eyes. “Kylian! You ruined my dress and makeup, merde.”
Rolling his eyes, Kylian came behind her and gently wrapped his arms around her, leaving a quick kiss on her neck. “T’inquiète, mon amour. I’ll help you, you’ll be fine.”
Shaking her head, she realized at that moment that while her beloved was definitely going to get them in trouble, she wouldn't trade him for anything in the world.
End Note:
*Baraat: a celebratory wedding procession that escorts the groom, who is traditionally on horseback, to the site of the wedding.

Tum dost ho, tum hi pyar ho,
Tum kal the aur tum hi aj ho.
Tum mere kal rahoge,
Saans thamne ke baad bhi
Mere sirf tum hi rahoge.
Tum yaad ho, mulakaat ho,
Tum hi to prem ka swaad ho.
Muskaan tum, aansu ho tum,
Ho mera har ehsaas tum.
Aas tum, ho sanket tum,
Mere mann ka vishwas tum.
Mere ho tum, sabke ho tum,
Duniya ka ek hi sach ho tum.
Tum prem ho, tum preet ho,
Manmeet ho Kanha,
Mere manmeet ho
Soooo...don't judge me, alright? Idk why but this song, I'm sure we all still remember it from RadhaKrishn, got stuck in my head today, and then this poem came into being. It's my first time writing a poem in Hindi (can't type in Hindi for the love of Krishna so please ignore that lol) since I've always been more comfortable expressing myself in English. But I hope it's good xD

Filmi prompts from old and our favourite bollywood songs that can be used for your desi romantic stories or as a cute little idea for your fake scenarios. Kya malum sochte sochte kab manifest hojaye?
1. Neele Neele Ambar Par (Kalaakaar)
-- This summer vacation you are at your nani ghar. The nights provide respite from the scorching heat so you run off to the terrace every night to sit and gaze at the moon until one fine evening, you see a boy opposite to your house wistfully gaze at the moon and scribble something on his notebook. His wavy hair falls gracefully on his eyes, and you can feel your heart melt. It's full moon, and she is right on the top of the terrace, letting her moonbeams fall on this handsome quiet writer. Perhaps, he realized someone's gaze over him. He looks up, and you swear to God that you have never seen such a beautiful boy ever. The boy blushes and continues writing while stealing glances at you.
2. Mitwa (Chandni)
-- It's the last day you both will ever meet in the school premises. Yes, it's farewell today. You are dressed in a yellow chiffon saree. For the first time, your school decided to make the boys wear kurtas instead of the usual suits, and the sight was too pretty for your eyes. Your boyfriend wore the typical black kurta with cuffed sleeves that made your heart go dhak dhak. Loads of fun filled dancing, canteen ka khana, principal ke speech ke baad arrived the time to say goodbyes. School had kept the farewell after board exams so this was literally the last time you all gathered together. After hugging your friends, you go to the school main gate and find him leaning against the adjacent wall.
Hand in hand, both of you walk outside the school. 'Everything is going to change, isn't it?" You ask. He takes a bite of his ice cream, and answers, "Yes. No more school classes, no more sneaking out and we might have a long distance going on, but some things will stay permanent."
"Aur voh kya?"
"Tere mere honthon pe mithe mithe geet mitwa.."
3. Bole Chudiyan (K3G)
-- You are the bride's sister, and that boy is your acadmeic rival at school. However, for now, he is also your jija's dear brother. Today is Sangeet, and you were determined to outperform ladke vale. Both of you were good at academics, but also at dancing. This was a test and a chance to rub defeat on his face.
That was your actual plan until two days ago, your didi jiju decided to have a group combined performance where you and your rival would be the lead dancers to unite both the enemies (you and him). Needles to say, you were mad. There was no way you would dance with his smooth moves and charismatic style. He was mad too. He would never dance with your graceful bollywood moves straight from 90s Saroj Khan choreohgraphy.
Keeping aside snide remarks and your school rivalry, both of you managed to choreograph and coordinate everyone dashed with a little tension that did not go unnoticed by didi jija and cousins. Dressed in a baby pink lehenga, you see him arrive on the stage in a golden white sherwani. He sends a two finger salute to your direction while you roll your eyes.
'Aake meri duniya mein vapas aajana' you pull him gently as per the choreography. He stumbles towards you, not aware of his scarf clinging on to your bracelet. 'Sehra baandh ke mahi tu mere ghar aana...' He twirls you halfway and you notice that his scarf is stuck on your bracelet.
You hate how his stupid handsome smirk is making butterflies fly in your body. After the semi twirl, he turns you over in front, his arm around your bare waist causing you to gasp silently. God knows what came over him. He lightly pecks your cheek in front of everyone and discreetly removes his stuck scarf.
'Oye soni kitti soni aaj tu lagdi ve bas mere sath yeh jodi teri sajdi ve' Didi and jija come in and dance to their assigned part. You run away from him quickly to calm your racing heart.
He is looking at you, a grin gracefully sitting over his pretty lips. You bashfully look up. 'Haan main ho gaya tera sajna.' It's the time for all the boys to come together on the stage. Your rival shoots a smooth wink before going to dance.
4. Ek ladki ko dekha toh aisa laga (1942: A love story)
You accidentally fell from your cycle by speeding over the speed breaker. Obviously you won't cry. You are fifteen now. A girl quickly arrives towards you, and in a soft voice asks, "Hey, you okay? That was a terrible fall. Dhyan kidhar tha?" Wincing, you look up, and see a pretty girl with silver jhumke and white salwar blowing at your wound. She is wearing a multi coloured bandhani dupatta. In two seconds, you forget the blood oozing out of your knee. The only red your eyes are focused on are on the pretty red shade of the girl's lips.
She is about to tear her dupatta to tie it across your wound. Your hand immediately holds her wrist, and you feel electricity jolt in your fingers. "Itna sundar dupatta kharab mat karo. Ghar idhar paas hai. Just help me to reach my gate, please."
Shaking her head, she tears her dupatta while you let out a gasp. "You are bleeding too much, besides I can always buy a new dupatta." She finally looks up at you and smiles. That's when you get a clear picture of her face.
Doe eyes lightly lined with kajal, a small bindi right between her eyebrows, and a small stone nath on her nose. She looks heavenly! You think how in front of such a beautiful girl, you look dust laden after falling off your bicycle.
"Aise mat dekho... tumhe pyaar ho jayega."
*:..。o○ ○o。..:**:..。o○ ○o。..:**:..。o○ ○o。..:*
Okay so the last one was inspired from @morally-gayy series.
There are going to be more. I can make them shorter though if you would want that.
Guys padh lena 🙏

@btw-its-tamanna
To the girl who is "DESIRED" by all....
To the girl jo meri "TAMANNA" hai....
Wishing you a very happy birthday Sakhi
This was the beautiful day when 16 years back this "APSARA" entered earth from the beautiful footsteps of heaven in order to make this mundane place earth somewhat beautiful with her lovely presence....
Tumblr media
Starting off with how our friendship bloomed , it's somewhat true that the most beautiful relations are the ones which are most unexpected.... Our friendship has been a Rollercoaster of emotions , we saw many ups and downs , highs and lows but the thing which matters is that we always were and are by each other's side....
Life
It was always been doomed
I always had thousands of wounds
But finding you was like
Finding a shelter in the rain
Finding happiness in pain
Finding water in desert
And when I was divert
You came for me
And held me in a stride
Thus now I'll be always by your side ~Kaya
You are one of the most enchanting girl I have ever met , your angel like eyes see the good in many devils.... One of the most kindest being I have ever seen....
Sometimes you are "Teri aayi, main marjaavan , Zindadi naam tere kar jaavaan" and sometimes you are "Jo main raat hoon toh tu khwab haiJo main khaali panna, tu alfaaz hai"....
Words can't describe how much you mean to me , sometimes you feel as if you have no one but trust me you'll always have a sister figure in me , a friend in me , a girl who's the Elsa to your Anna , a girl who's Anya to your Becky , a girl who's Kaya to your Tamanna....
When I saw the video of your dance on Sawar loon I felt like "काली-काली ज़ुल्फ़ों के फंदे ना डालो हमें ज़िंदा रहने दो, ऐ हुस्न वालों"....
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In your words "ek dum swarg se utri hui kokil kanthi apsara lag rahi ho"....
Sometimes I think are you even real cause you are so freaking perfect....
You feel like a daydream dressed in sunshine....
You feel like someone whom I can love and adore to death....
Although you'll always have a "Desirer" in me but I do hope you find your own desirer who'd desire you in ways you can't even think of , who'd love you till you are sick of it....
You are clearly a ray of sunshine in all of our lives and we all cherish and celebrate your existence....
You are the kind of person who's existence must be celebrated everyday and not on just your birthday cause you deserve every amount of love you get and even more....
I know sometimes you feel alone but isn't it the part of growing up , we lose our way , make new ones and navigate our way through a journey named life....
I hope this chapter 16 of your life opens up infinite possibilities , aspirations , and success in your life....
I really do hope that one day we get to meet and even go on a tour together....
You are one of the greatest friend I know and just know that I always am thankful to God for sending a sweet , beautiful and kind person into my life....
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
That'll be me and you in a few years....
Now I know you love the song Dil besabar by Iqlipse Nova and I love it too
So it will be a pleasure if you sing this song along side me....
"Naajane Mera Mann Kyun Hai Behka
Mujhse Hai Kehta
Tu Hai Jaha Hai Meri Duniya Bhi Wahi
Dil Yeh Besabar Bada Hai
Tere Peeche Pada Hai
Jaane Na Kya Hua Hai
Teri Deewani Ko"....
And now let's come to the gifts for our special birthday girl aka Apsara aka Tammu....
I couldn't do something very special so I did what I could
I wrote you a poem....
Tumblr media
I don't know if you like it or not but this contains all my love for you....
Mind you that for this poem completely and utterly you were my muse....
Next I made you a playlist , it's a short one but I'll keep on adding songs to it...
Last but not the least I love you to the moon and back and I can do anything for you
I hope your special day is as special and wonderful as you are.....
So signing off pishachini

Tu Maan Meri Jaan
Jake Seresin x Desi!Reader Headcanon + The Dagger Squad and Maverick
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/N: Hey Guys! So, @girl-in-the-chairs-void and I sort of slipped into the topic of conversation of a Jake getting married to a Desi woman and we both were so in love with the idea that we came up with this. I want to thank you, Pav, for always helping me break out of creative blocks and always being there for me in general. And ofc, I also want to thank you for working with me to create something that can desi and brown girls in this fandom can relate to. To all you, We hope you love it! Now, even I sometimes forget some of the terms that are used for Indian wedding functions so I’ll try to drop a quick explanation in parenthesis after specific terms 😊 But if I miss anything or you’re confused, just let me know in a comment and I’ll be sure to explain it.
Also, A few months ago I saw a reel on Glen’s Instagram of him at Nick and Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ Diwali party so here’s that 😁
-------------------------------------------------------------
I completely melt at the thought of Jake getting married to a South Asian bride and they make the wedding half Western and half South Asian.
I feel like he’d already just love the parts of your culture that you share with him. When you go to plan your wedding, he’d already be down to do a multiple-function, multi-day wedding and his sisters and parents would be so excited.
When you first started dating, he didn’t understand the things you whisper to him in your language.
He makes it his mission to learn a little bit of your language without telling you. So, when you speak to your family or friends and it’s mostly them teasing you two, he knows but doesn’t mention it until later.
Like on the reception he just whispers “meri jaan” My life or something sweet in your ear as the Pandit (Priest) officiates it.
All the little kids calling him the various names for “uncle” and you’re feeling so proud and holding them all close to you, he looks at you so softly, getting the kids to leave the stage as they scurry off after hugging both of you.
Jake on a horse, riding his way to your house with the Baraat, and being a natural because he’s no stranger to horse riding.
Him seeing you in the wedding lehenga for the first time and just forgetting how to speak.
You are not expecting to be as speechless as you are when you see him in his wedding outfit. And he would tease the hell out of you about it.
His dirty blond hair glistening in the harsh light coming from the camera man and seeing the rest of the squad in traditional desi clothes is the cherry on top.
He had his hands in the air as the dhol and drums (a traditional drumset that plays live at weddings) echo loudly, mimicking some of the dance moves your father or brother may have taught him.
He gets down on one knee as he approaches the stage where you stand, a ring in hand, maybe saying a few sentences in your language that has you crying.
“Main aur kisi ke bare main kaise soch sakta hoon jab meri duniya mere samne hai?” Basically how can I think about someone else when my whole world is in front of me?
Also, I headcanon sometimes that Jake loves to dance and his whole family really enjoys dancing at the wedding. It usually take a glass of wine or so to get him loose but the man can dance.
They drag him onto the stage and what people don’t know is that he has been practicing his moves.
If a lot of Punjabi families are there, then we know we got the booze flowing and as soon as the songs come on, he is going at it.
You are laughing and giggling in your chair as you watch him do bhangra or any other type of dance that he has up his sleeve.
You’re just like, “Babe…. where did you learn to dance like that? When did you find the time to learn this?” “Well, I am a Seresin, Darlin’.”
The wedding vows go like this:
“The things I do for you my love, but today, I wanna dedicate this day, not to us; but to you. Because my heart has been so full of you that I simply cannot call it mine anymore. My soul has been bewitched and my mind has been taken over by every thought of you. I am a mere reflection- a shadow of you. There was a quote in this movie we watched on our third date: om shanti om (apologies for the pronunciation); you said it was your favorite movie growing up and you cried when shah rukh khan said; "Itni shiddat se maine tumhe paane ki koshish ki hai, ki har zarre ne mujhe tumse milane ki saazish ki hai. So today as our worlds gather around us to witness this beautiful moment, I want to say to you; mujhse shaadi karogi?”
To which you just laugh and say “We’re already married, dumbass” while tugging him up to kiss him and whisper, “A thousand times yes.”
The food, omg, okay. So, in your 5 year long relationship, you have never seen him enjoy pani-puri as much as you do at your own wedding. He happily ate them whenever you went out to eat at an Indian restaurant or made him eat Lamb Karahi (for my Pakistani girls out there), he ate it with a smile on his face, but usually, all he could feel was his mouth going numb at the spice.
But now, he is just gobbling them down. The shocking part? He’s eating them with the spicy water.
You’re shocked because he can handle more spice than you almost. And when you mention it he’s like “Baby you know I like it spicy”😉😉
Every daal or butter chicken or biryani that is brought to the table is just eaten, mostly by him.
When you taste the things yourself, the spice is there but he hasn’t picked up his glass
When you look at him, He just shrugs and says “I’m hungry.”
And you’re already reaching for water now and again.
Rooster and Javy are borderline crying.
And you keep giving them dahi (yogurt) to cut the spice because even you’re starting to
Even Phoenix can handle her spice, but Jake is surpassing that level and your mom is impressed to say the least.
Rooster watching hangman eat straight spicy biryani like 👁👄👁️
The Mehendi (a wedding function in which the bride, groom and guests’ hands and somethings feet are decorated with ethnic temporary tattoos” and Haldi rasam (a wedding function in which a yellow paste made from turmeric is applied to the bride’s and groom’s skin) has you thinking he looks absolutely adorable.
The yellow pastes make his skin glow and while everyone is admiring him all the young girls and aunties eyes are on him, he is just admiring you from the corner of the room as you get the haldi all over you.
You don't notice his eyes on you through the thin curtain until your mother whispers to you: “Everybody’s watching him, but he’s only been looking at you”
If there is haldi left after the ceremony you and Jake just attack Mav and the squad with it.
And the aunties probably have something to say about how he’s just completely all over you, but you two don’t even care. You’re already too far gone into the bliss of your wedding preparations and traditions that nothing seems to affect your mood.
He’d probably really enjoy the fact that your wedding outfits reveal the midriff if you wear a lehenga. For each function that you wear one or even a sari, he probably really likes being able to feel your skin on his when he puts his arm around your waist.
Maybe if you decide to have a destination wedding in the house you rented, he shows up late at night at your door in a beige or black kurta that your mum made him wear, a few buttons undone from the top, hair a little messy.
He was up with your male family members playing antakshari (a card game often played at celebratory occasions).
If it’s in India, he takes you to a late-night drive to eat ice cream. You introduce him to paan and chai, two common late nigh street foods.
You threaten him that if he ever calls chai, chai tea, you will divorce him.
When you get back it’s dark and late enough that no one else is awake, he quietly slips into your room as you both try to take in the last few days, barely having a moment to yourselves, as he just stays there and holds you until you drift off to sleep and when you do, he gives you a kiss on the forehead before slipping back into his room.
There’s a tradition where the brides name is written in the groom’s mehndi, and the groom’s name is written in the bride’s. When it comes to him trying to find his name in your hands, it takes him time, but he finds it hiding in the side of your pinky, because when you are nervous you hold onto each other’s pinky’s in a crowded room. It was a small thing you guys used to do before you had started dating.
If you've hidden his name as well, he finds it immediately but takes his name pretending like he didn’t see it just to play with your hands longer.
Yours is hidden in a kaleidoscope of stars and things he’s got on his palms and wrists, it’s in a moon shaped piece that has another thing written under it “mera chaand” My moon.
Phoenix shows up in the most stunning outfits and turns out she has dressed up every single one of the dagger boys.
It came as a surprise to you when she helps you with your jewelry, having known about many uncommon things about the certain things you were putting on.
She manages to take the boys away from you as you are getting ready for your main ceremony.
You both keep a Polaroid of the two of you getting ready, hair and makeup done, mehndi pristine, bangles on, jewelry pretty much all on and your outfits are on the hangers. Standing with arms around each other in tank tops and shorts and it’s the funniest sight. It's a memory you’ll cherish forever with your best friend.
Dude, can you just imagine Javy, Rooster, Mickey and Reuben all lifting the kids at the wedding in the air and pretending like they’re flying fighter jets. The kids are just like “I love Reuben uncle!” And “Jake maamaji is my favorite”.
After the wedding ceremony everyone’s making jokes about how y’all are probably going to get it on but you’re both so tired that you just fall asleep.
Before you do, Jake helps you take off your jewelry.
He counts the huge amount of bobby pins in your hair, the pile is bigger than your head. His eyes are wide by the time he is done taking out the last one.
“Do you have anything else hiding in your skull somewhere? How did your head not fall?”
“Yeah, now you know why I’m so tired, I’m carrying twice my head’s normal weight.”
You let your clothes just fall to the floor but being the neat freak that he is, he goes to pick them up and put them on the hanger. He groans at the weight of it because it is just so heavy.
“Babe, how were you walking in this? Are you a bodybuilder?”
“Damn, Jake, I thought you navy officers were strong. Can’t even carry a dress??” He glares at you playfully.
He will not stop referring to you as Mrs. Seresin for ages.
You both lay down and just take in the past few days.
He says “Goodnight Mrs. Seresin”. You both just let yourselves fall asleep in like oversized shirts and underwear because you’re too tired to find anything else.
The next day you choose to have a little Western wedding party reception.
And he didn’t know what you were going to wear so when he sees you in a white wedding dress, he loses his mind. Bonus points if it’s Jake’s Mom’s dress.
Mrs. Seresin loves you, and seeing you make her son so happy, just fulfills her life mission.
You look angelic in it.
You remember when he had teased you about how when he gets married he’d take the Garter off with his teeth like some people do and I feel like even if he didn’t, he’d tickle up your leg a little as he took it off with his hands.
He lets his hands roam around a little longer than needed, announcing that he can’t feel it until he disappears under your dress. He has is in his mouth as he reappears from under your dress, secretly giving it a sniff before tugging it into his pocket.
You get so flustered because your mother and his parents were there too.
Your father would be so mad, as most Asian dads would be in this situation.
Jake's mom might spontaneously combust; “Doesn’t this boy feel embarrassed?”
and the aunties will go feral. You don’t even care though because you’re way too in love with the man in front of you. But everyone had a good laugh over it, it was cute how in love you two are.
You cut cake and toss the bouquet.
Rooster just cuts through- like the diva he is and catches it.
Maybe giving it to your sister or a cousin of yours he’s been eyeing…
And everyone just tells stories from them about how you made naval aviators fall in love with the brown women in your family. Because it’s a common thing for a lot of matches to be made at desi weddings. They’re usually so big; friends and very extended family are invited from both sides and over the 3-7 days you all spend together, it’s not uncommon for some people to exchange numbers or so.
Like it all started there for everyone.
You and Jake take total credit for all the matches that were made.
Even phoenix, she saw your distant cousin that she got along with when your wedding ceremonies started and as she gets to know her; you stumble upon them on the rooftop on a late night, wrapped up in each other’s arms, a blanket around the two of them
Bonus points if you and Jake caught them there together and you all agree to just never mention it because you two weren’t supposed to be there either.
Imagine rooster giving the bouquet to your sister.
Like that man has been following her around the entire time the wedding ceremonies. It’s like a classic trope in a Bollywood movie.
One night, you’re looking for your earring which you’re convinced you sister took. And you walk into her room and he’s just there, minding his own business, chilling on his phone and he just jumps seeing you walk in, trying to explain.
Jake doesn’t even realize that rooster is involved with your sister until he sees them dancing. He just turns to you and is like “Are you seeing what I’m seeing?” And you’re just sitting there, smirking. *I know what you are dog meme*
According to Punjabi tradition, you have to wear a red set of bangles after the wedding as a sign of being a newlywed woman.
According to tradition you need to keep it on until you have kids or like at least for a year.
It’s not even a year after your marriage that Jake comes home to find your wrists empty of the beloved bangle set he’s so used to. Oh. Oh.
He knows what it means. The empty wrists have him staring, and he’s dying to ask whether you took it off because of discomfort or if there is bigger news behind it.
After an hour of pondering, he gives up his patience and asks you.
“Oh, I was waiting until later to tell you this but…”
You drag him to the nearest seat, sitting him down as you sit opposite, burying your hands into your cardigan pocket and around the plastic stick that felt  a little too heavy now that you were face to face with him. This is what you had been trying for, it's good news. The warmth in his eyes encourages you to let it be, that this was the right time.
You place the pregnancy test in front of him, he picks it up to inspect as his face lights up with joy that you had only seen the day you got married. In a flurry, he just picks you up and spins you around. You're screeching for him to put you down, but he refuses, burying his face into your stomach as you laugh.
When he does put you down, he makes you sit on the couch with him as he bends down to your stomach; “Hey there champ, you gonna give your ma trouble for the next few months huh?”

Tu maan meri jaan; a string of headcanons
Tumblr media
A/n; I wanna thank @birdy-bat-writes for this amazing string of head canons, you are truly an inspiration to us all. This little thing is dedicated to all my brown girls and desi’s who long for the representation on any platform. I want you to know that just because there is no opportunity available, doesnt mean you can’t make an opportunity for yourself. I hope you like this as much as I do <333
Jake seresin x desi!reader (feat. The dagger squad + Maverick)
Tumblr media
I completely melt at the thought of Jake getting married to a South Asian bride and they make the wedding half Western and half South Asian.
Like on the reception he just whispers “meri jaan” My life or something in your ear as the Pandit officiates it.
All the little kids calling him the versions names for “uncle” and you feeling so proud and holding them all close to you, he looks at you so softly, getting the kids to leave the stage as they scurry off after hugging both of you.
Jake on a horse, riding his way to your house with the Baraat.
When you first started dating, he didn’t understand the things you whispered to him in your language.
Him seeing you in the wedding lehenga for the first time and just forgetting how to speak
He makes it his mission to learn a little bit of your language without telling you. So when you speak to your family or friends and it’s mostly them teasing you two, he knows but doesn’t mention it until later.
You are not expecting to be as speechless as you are when you see him in his wedding outfit. He doesnt stop teasing the hell out of you about it the entire night.
Dirty blond hair glistening in the harsh light coming from the camera man and seeing the rest of the squad in traditional clothes is the cherry on top.
He had his hands in the air as the dhol and drums echo loudly, mimicking some of the moves your father or brother may have taught him.
And then at the reception, you decide to change into a white dress. But he doesn’t know. So when he sees you he’s breathless all over again.
He gets down on one knee as he approaches the stage where you stand, a ring in hand, maybe saying a few sentences in your language that has you crying
“Main aur kisi ke bare main kaise soch sakta hoon jab meri duniya mere samne hai?”How can I think about someone else when my whole world is in front of me?
Maybe he sings a song or two; a song from your favorite bollywood movie, something he spent months practicing and getting the emotions right so he doesnt end up crying halfway. The lyrics are dedicated to you, Ofcourse. And as he brings you onto the dance floor you notice the mic in his hand shaking. But you slowly wrap your hands around his and sing the song with him as it closes out.
It’s no secret that Jake loves to dance and his whole family really enjoys dancing at the wedding.
They drag him onto the stage and what people don’t know is that he has been practicing his moves.
If a lot of Punjabi families are there, then we know we got the booze flowing and as soon as the songs come on he is going at it.
You are laughing and giggling in your chair as you watch him do bhangra or any other type of dance that he has up his sleeve.
You’re just like “….where did you learn to dance like that?”
“When did you find the time to learn this?” “well, i am a Seresin, darlin’”
The wedding vows go like this:
“The things I do for you my love, but today, I wanna dedicate this day, not to us; but to you. Because my heart has been so full of you that I simply cannot call it mine anymore. My soul has been bewitched and my mind has been taken over by every thought of you. I am a mere reflection- a shadow of you. There was a quote in this movie we watched on our third date: om shanti om (apologies for the pronunciation); you said it was your favorite movie growing up and you cried when shah rukh khan said; "Itni shiddat se maine tumhe paane ki koshish ki hai, ki har zarre ne mujhe tumse milane ki saazish ki hai.” (I have tried so hard to get you, that the entire universe has brought you to me.) So today as our families gather around us to witness this beautiful moment, I want to say to you; mujhse shaadi karogi?” (Will you marry me)
To which you just laugh and say “we’re already married dumbass” while tugging him up to kiss him and whisper a thousand yes’.
The Mehendi and Haldi rasam has you thinking he looks absolutely adorable
The yellow pastes make his skin glow and while everyone is admiring him all the young girls and aunties eyes are on him, he is just admiring you from the corner of the room as you get the haldi all over you.
You don't notice his eyes on you through the thin curtain until your mother whispers to you: “Everybody’s watching him but he’s only been looking at you”
He loves the way your hair shines in the light.
If there is haldi left after the ceremony you and Jake just attack Mav and the squad with it.
The aunties probably have something to say about how he’s just completely all over you, but you two don’t even care.
Maybe if you decide to have a destination wedding in the house you rented, he shows up late at night at your door in a beige or black kurta that your mum made him wear, a few buttons undone from the top, hair a little messy
He was up with your male family members playing antakshari.
If it’s in India, he takes you to a late night drive to eat ice cream.
You introduce him to paan and chai.
You threaten him that if he ever calls chai, chai tea, you will divorce him. He swore he would never mispronounce a single thing again.
Then when it comes to him trying to find his name in your hands, it takes him time but he finds it hiding in the side of your pinky, because when you are nervous you hold onto each other’s pinky’s in a crowded room. It was a small thing you guys used to do before you had started dating.
If you've hidden his call sign as well, he finds it immediately but takes his name pretending like he didn’t see it just to play with your hands longer.
Yours is hidden in a kaleidoscope of stars and things he’s got on his palms and wrists, it’s in a moon shaped piece that has another thing written under it “mera chaand”
Phoenix shows up in the most stunning outfits and turns out she has dressed up every single one of the dagger boys.
It came as a surprise to you when she helped you with your jewelry, having known about many uncommon things about the certain things you were putting on.
She manages to take the boys away from you as you are getting ready for your main ceremony.
You both keep a Polaroid of the two of you getting ready, hair and makeup done, mehendi pristine, bangles on, jewelry pretty much all on and your outfits are on the hangers. Standing with arms around each other in tank tops and shorts and it’s the funniest sight. It's a memory you’ll cherish forever with your best friend.
Dude can you just imagine Javy, Rooster, Mickey and Reuben all lifting the kids at the wedding in the air and pretending like they’re flying fighter jets. The kids are just like “I love Reuben uncle!” And “Jake maamaji is my favorite”.
Phoenix teaches the girls how to fight, defend themselves and kick the boys in the balls.
They manage to experiment their kicks on the squad and even though the girls don’t hurt them enough, they pretend to topple over in faux pain until Phoenix hits Rooster in the balls and he actually does double over in pain as everyone around him just laughs it off. He tries to smile through the pain for the sake of the kids but Phoenix knows that she hurt him where it hurts. All the kids think it’s hilarious because they think it’s fake and Rooster is just trying to smile through the pain.
After the wedding ceremony everyone’s making jokes about how y’all are probably going to get it on but you’re both so tired that you just fall asleep.
Not to mention the fact that he will help you take off your jewelry.
He counts the huge amount of bobby pins in your hair, the pile is bigger than your head.
His eyes are wide by the time he is done taking out the last one.
“Do you have anything else hiding in your skull somewhere? How did your head not fall?”
“Yeah now you wonder why I’m so tired, I’m carrying twice my heads normal weight”
He’s just shocked but damn he is proud of you and probably does a hands down thing after you pile up your outfit, heels and everything and make him pick it up.
He groans at the weight of it because it is just so heavy.
“Babe, how were you walking in this? Are you goddamn bodybuilder?”
“Damn, Jake, I thought you navy officers were strong. Cant even carry a dress??” Him glaring at you playfully.
“I am Mrs. Seresin now, aren’t I? So that automatically makes me strong, like your mom.”
Him melting at that…
He will not stop referring to you as Mrs. Seresin for ages.
You both lay down and just take in the past few days.
He says “goodnight Mrs seresin”. You both just let yourselves fall asleep in like oversized shirts and underwear because you’re too tired to find anything else. Wedding clothes left on the floor.
Maybe you end up getting shared last names, and you correct him that “it's Seresin-L/n”
The next day you choose to have that little western wedding party reception.
And he didn’t know what you were going to wear so when he sees you in a white wedding dress he loses his mind.
Maybe it's Vivienne Westwood (rest in peace queen), bonus points if it’s his moms dress.
Mrs Sersin loves you, and seeing you make her son so happy, just fulfills her life mission.
You look angelic in it
and then midway you might change into a more traditional one
You remember when he had teased you about how when he gets married he’d take the Garter off with his teeth like some people do and I feel like even if he didn’t, he’d tickle up your leg a little as he took it off with his hands.
He lets his hands roam around a little longer than needed, definitely announcing that he can’t feel it until he disappears under your dress.
You cut cake and toss the bouquet
Rooster just cuts through- like the diva he is and catches it.
Maybe giving it to your sister that he’s been eyeing…
And everyone just tells stories from them about how you made naval aviators fall in love with the brown women in your family.
Like it all started there for everyone.
You and Jake take total credit for all the matches that were made.
Even phoenix, she saw your distant cousin that she got along with when your wedding ceremonies started and as she gets to know her; you stumble upon them on the rooftop on a late night, wrapped up in each others arms, a blanket around the two of them
Bonus points if you and Jake caught them there together and you all agree to just never mention it because you two weren’t supposed to be there either.
You didn’t even know the girl swinged that way but seeing Phoenix follow her around like a puppy dog has you feeling good about your best friend.
The food, omg, okay. So in your 5 year long relationship, you have never seen him enjoy pani puri as much as you do at your own wedding. He happily ate them whenever you went out to eat at an indian restaurant or made him eat Lamb Karahi (for my pakistani girls out there), he ate it with a smile on his face, yet all he can feel is his mouth gong numb at the spices.
But now, he is just gobbling them down. The shocking part? He’s eating them with the spicy water
You’re shocked because he can handle more spice than you, somehow.
He manages to not throw up later that night, because he usually used to get an upset stomach during your last trip to South Asia.
When you mention it he’s like “baby you know I like it spicy”
Every daal or butter chicken or biryani that is brought to the table doesn't last for more than 5 minutes on the table, mostly eaten by him.
When you taste the things yourself, the spice is there but he hasn’t picked up his glass of water to take a single sip.
When you look at him, He just shrugs and says “I’m hungry” while you’re already reaching for water now and again
Rooster and Javy are borderline crying, and you keep giving them dahi.
The moans Jake is letting out just be eating the daal and roti has you choking on your food.
Even Phoenix can handle her spice but Jake is surpassing that level and your mom is impressed to say the least.
Rooster’s in awe, watching hangman eat straight spicy biryani
Oh Rooster,
Imagine Rooster giving the bouquet to your sister though, like that man has been following her around the entire the wedding ceremonies, it makes you think of the classic tropes in Bollywood movies.
Then one night, you’re looking for your earring which you’re convinced you sister took, you walk into her room and he’s just there, minding his own business, chilling on his phone and he just jumps seeing you walk in trying to explain that they haven't done anything besides hang out while leaving room for jesus. Its the funniest sight as your sister suppresses her giggles.
He is doing this one performance with her, where she throws the flower at his ass as part of the act.
Even Jake doesn’t realize that Rooster is involved with your sister until he sees her slingshot the flower and wink at Rooster, which has him blushing- hard.
You’re grinning from ear to ear because you know and Jake just turns to you and is like “are you seeing what I’m seeing?” And you’re just sitting there, smirking.
Jake is a softie and if you’re Punjabi, you have to wear a red set of bangles after the wedding as a sign of being a newlywed woman.
According to tradition you need to keep it on until you have kids or like at least for a year.
It’s not even a year after your marriage that jake comes home to find your wrists empty of the beloved bangle set he’s so used to. Oh.
He knows what it means, your mother had filled him in on this Rasam as well when he was told he wasn't allowed to see you until the day of your wedding.
The empty wrists has him staring, and he’s dying to ask whether you took it off because of discomfort or that there is bigger news behind it.
After an hour of pondering he gives up his patience and asks you.
“Jaan? Where’s the Chura?” “Oh, I was waiting until later to tell you this but…”
You drag him to the nearest seat, sitting him down as you sit opposite, burying your hands into your cardigan pocket and around the plastic stick that felt a little too heavy now that you were face to face with him.
You're screeching for him to put you down but he refuses, burying his face into your stomach as you laugh.
When he does put you down, he makes you sit on the couch with him as he bends down to your stomach; “Hey there champ, you gonna give your ma trouble for the next few months huh? ”
Your pregnancy was hectic to say the least. A few weeks after you announced it, Jake was deployed, thankfully he got home just in time to help you through the last five months of it.
Your cravings consisted of kheer and achar mixtures and a bunch of other weird foods that you forced him to make.
As tradition asks, he took you to your parents’ house as you approached the end of your pregnancy. You ate every single dish your mum presented you with.
The delivery was tough as most are, he was there to support you through it.
You're pretty sure you cussed him out in your mother tongue multiple times.
Just like that your beautiful daughter was born.
She is absolutely beautiful and all Jake wants to do is protect the two of you from the world, his two best girls.
A few months into parenting has the two of you exhausted to say the least. Your parents come over all the time, you siblings try and teach the infant words that you’re pretty sure she cannot pronounce at this age.
But before she turns a year old, you mimic the sounds of your mother to try and teach her to say “Maa”
To which Jake tries to teach her to say “papa/baba”, that has your heart melting when you stumble upon the two of them eating and him repeating “baba” to her.

hello hello hello Jalebi! And I’m sorry it was really weird of me to not say hello in my previous ask :((
In context with the same (ask), I really loved that you pointed out all the scenes with the song, and how it impacted the whole story build up. Yk, Before watching ipkknd, I went through a whole phase of watching the ‘realistic’ romance movies in Hollywood. The ones that make the viewers relate with the protagonists, because we’ve all been heartbroken in some point of our lives, and that all romances do not end up in happily ever afters. The before trilogy, 500 days of summer, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, normal people and many more. My perspective on love and romance changed completely over the past 2-3 years, and it kind of was good because I got familiar with the real picture. (I grew up watching bollywood films and read wattpad as a teenager, which was obviously, really like a strawberry-duniya) But now, I’m finding myself again going back to my childhood dreams and fantasies, like love is ‘meant to be’, or ‘true romance is aided by the divine’, ‘the red string theory’ and something of that sort. I’m scared that this might end up making me feel that ‘realistic love’ is inadequate. I have fallen in love with the way romance and love has been portrayed in ipkknd, and I don’t think i am getting over it anytime soon.
Hello hello,
Omgh Anon please don't worry - I wasn't in the best mood either!
Ok, time for Jalebi to crack her knuckles and give a drop of two of reality sweetness and advice.
Romance is really about the way you feel. The way you imagine it to be. There's nothing ever right or wrong about the way romance works because there's no one way to define this notion of romance.
You see the best way to understand this is to really understand the way IPK showed how Arnav and Khushi experienced romance.
For Khushi always believed in what films and books sold her - she believed romance to be flowers, stars, seeing the person everywhere and so on and so forth. Thus when she fell for Arnav, she literally felt all this because this is how she was conditioned and believed romance would be.
Arnav, pragmatic in nature, truly never believed in the commercialized version of romance. What he did believe in was care being romance. He did NOT believe in Anjali's definition of romance. What he did believe is what he saw between Anjali and Shyam. The fact that his sister, so deep in love, cannot function if her beloved is in danger. She has a strong physiological response to Shyam. And Arnav does believe Anjali loves Shyam and vice versa. He does not believe love making the heart go fast, but he is aware of how an extreme emotion can affect the body. So the night he understands love (which he has been questioning for some time now) he realizes his care for Khushi was exaggerated, he collapsed at the thought of her harm and his extreme physiological reaction - racing heartbeats to restlessness - it's all due to and for Khushi, leaves him in a sombre realization.
The point here being you can never point out which version of romance is more accurate cause even if fiction, people feel love differently even for the most basic things.
If you are a romantic at heart and now believe larger than life things - from fate to God - play a role at romance, then even the most realistic thing like the person you like dabbing away your snotty nose during a cold will feel like the MOST romantic thing in the planet. You will see fate in this, you will feel the violins.
But if you're a realist at heart, then even at the most GRAND entry of your crush - helicopter and all - you will see the smallest things that matter to you. Such a small smile your hero throws your way before he goes for his day.
What we must understand though is that situations don't lead to love. Your feels and circumstances are two very separate things. I, at one point, used to believe that "Oh I'd get great love only if I go through the intense difficulty and push pull and fight with destiny"
Now that is a problem because a lot of the circumstances in IPKKND are best left to fiction. If realistic love doesn't appeal to you on screen - totally makes sense, heck I'm always down for grander schemes of love ON screen.
But in real life, it's really the realistic love that leaves you with the joy the grander shows love. It's the green flags, the safety, security and just goodness of it all that's really appealing.
Trust me when I say this, an honest intelligent conversation has had my heart racing faster than being backed into a wall 'a la Khushi'.
And the human mind is such, it can frame events into your head based on your definition of romance.
If I'm a hardcore romantic, then I will find divinity in reality and if I'm a realistic I will find realism in divinity. Because when I'm liking someone, I'm trying to find WHAT appeals to me.
And one really important thing to realize is that fate does NOT dictate one to be in your life when they're causing you grief. IPKKND is written as a romance that was not meant to have happened.
If you get an ASR - run. If you get a Khushi - run as well. One is too egoistic and the other is too idealistic.
Also realism does not mean passionless or things not being fated. It just shows you multiple other perspectives can happen. Yes, there's a certain escapism in these fantasy stories, but I also believe remarkable things can happen to absolutely ordinary people as well.
And you don't have to get over IPKKND at all - enjoy the vibes, enjoy the feels. Don't idealize the situations that Arnav and Khushi faced to get to love, but definitely idealize the power in their love.
Love's power is universal.
Love love love,
Jalebi
P.S: Talking about realism, it is interesting to note that the second time Khushi actually falls for Arnav (not infatuation) is when the littlest things happen.
A box of bangles cause her previous one broke, assisting her in serving the guests cause the waiters ditched on her, or simply telling her that the saree she chose first was the better one.
Nothing remarkable at ALL and this is as realistic as love gets, and as beautiful too.
The grand gestures of dance, kiss and mehendi's 'A' make her uncomfortable. His soft smile and showing up, personally, to her house in the morning is what touches her.

Tumblr media
Nobita sighed as he sat down against the tree, the golden light of the setting sun painting everything yellow. He could now understand why the calm before the storm was way more terrifying than the actual storm.
"Aisi duniya mein rehna jaha koi na ho sachme khatarnak lagta hai. Kitni khamoshi hai yaha!", Nobita said as he watched Pippo kick a tiny piece of rock towards the water.
(To live in a world where there’s no one feels truly dangerous. It’s so silent here!)
"Nobita to darpok hai."
(Nobita is a coward.)
Nobita couldn't help the instant spark of frustration that ignited through him and yelled, "Main bahadur hoon!"
(I’m brave!)
Pippo turned towards Nobita, "Ji nahi! Tum darpok ho!"
(Nope! You’re a coward!)
Nobita slammed his hands on the ground, "Dekho! Main darpok nahi hoon!"
(Look! I’m not a coward!)
Pippo smiled as he dance around in circles, singing, "Ji han, ji han, tum darpok ho! Nobita darpok hai, darpok, darpok, darpok-"
(Yes, yes, you’re a coward! Nobita is a coward, coward, coward)
Nobita watched as large white flower petals fell down from the tree, stopping Pippo in his words. Pippo froze for a second before screaming in terror as he tried to get away from the petals, his broken blue cover falling off his head.
"YEH KYA HAI, YEH KYA HAI, YE KYA HAI?"
(WHAT IS THIS, WHAT IS THIS, WHAT IS THIS?)
Nobita broke down into laughter as Pippo stopped running and glared at him, "Pippo, tum to dar gaye!"
(Pippo, you got scared!)
Pippo's face turned red as his cheeks puffed up, "Mein to sirf chok gaya tha! Mein dara nahi tha!"
(I was just surprised! I wasn’t scared!)
It only served to make Nobita laugh more, "Bilkul nahi! Tum to sach mein darpok ho!"
(Not at all! You are really a coward!)
Pippo grew frustrated as he disagreed, "Nahi! Mein darpok nahi hoon!"
(No! I’m not a coward!)
Nobita giggled as he continued teasing Pippo, "Ye sach hai! Ye sach hai! Pippo dar gaya!"
(It’s true! It’s true! Pippo got scared!)
Pippo glared at Nobita, anger fueling his words as he shouted, "Abhi tum haslo jitna hasna hai! Ek baar robot sena aa jayegi phir vo tum logo ka kaam tamam kar legi! Dekhte hi dekhte tum sab ko saaf kar degi! Aur mein bhi apne asli roop mein aagaya to tumhe muhjse koi nai bacha sakta! Iske baad tum mujhse kitni bhi maafi maangoge, mein tumhe maaf nahi karunga! Harkis maaf nahi karunga!"
(Laugh all you want! Once the robot army arrives then they’re going to end you! You’ll all be wiped by them! And if I’m in my true form, then no one is going to be able to save you from me! After that no matter how many times you apologize, I’m not going to forgive you! I definitely won’t forgive you!)
Pippo's whole body trembled as Nobita looked at him with a wistful look on his face, a hint of sadness flowing through his voice, "Lekin, Pippo, mein to tumse ladhna nahi chata, bilkul nahi."
(But, Pippo, I’ve never wanted to fight with you, not at all.)
And all of a sudden all the uncontrollable anger in his body disappeared, replaced by a feeling Pippo couldn't name. Tears welled up in his eyes as he realized that Nobita wasn't lying at all. Unlike Pippo who had betrayed him twice by pretending to be his friend, Nobita was being truthful. Not only him but his friends too.
Sabse pehle hai pyaar (The first is love)
The look of appreciation and awe on Doraemon, Suneo, Gian, and Nobita's faces as they clapped when he sang for them on the steps after insulting Gian's awful singing. The amount of warmth that spread through him at their reactions.
Mein aur tum dono toh ek hai (You and me, we’re one)
The amount of excruciating pain he felt when one of the higher-ups caught him singing in Mechatopia and punished him for it, leaving him all broken and thrown aside until Riruru found him.
Uske baad aaye aashaayein (After that come hopes)
"Unki madad karne ka kya fayda?" questioned Pippo after barely escaping the robots who had captured Nobita's friends.
(What will you even get by helping them?)
The conviction in Nobita's face as he replied, "Aisi baat hai? Fayda ya nuksan, mein nahi soch raha! Vo mere dost hai! Mujhe unki madad karni hogi!"
(Is that it? Advantage or not, that’s not my concern. They are my friends! I have to help them!)
Tum toh tum ho (You are you)
"Chinta mat karna, mein tumhari madad karungi." Riruru had said as she worked on fixing him after he'd stupidly gotten himself punished by singing.
(Don’t worry, I’ll help you.)
Mein toh mein hoon (I am me)
Suneo had played music as the six of them had dinner, laughing and enjoying with their looming problems put aside as they danced along to the music.
Nobita had smiled in absolute glee as Pippo wiggled his butt to the music while Gian forced food into Suneo's mouth as Shizuka laughed at their antics.
And when Pippo had fallen quiet as Riruru's voice echoed in his mind, Nobita had noticed.
"Suno, Pippo! Tum akele kya soch rahe ho?" Nobita managed to ask before he had been pulled away by Gian.
(Listen, Pippo! What are you thinking about all alone?)
Aakhir mein hum dono soche (In the end, both of us wonder)
Nobita had tried to be his friend from the very start when he'd found Pippo in the South Pole and was busy being excited about building Pippo's real body.
He had tried to be his friend even when Pippo had tricked them into taking him to the mirror world to find Riruru by saving him when the Mechatopian Robots failed to recognize Pippo and attacked them.
He still tried to be his friend even when Pippo refused to cooperate and help them save their planet by creating as much trouble as he could.
Nobita never lied. He had never wanted to fight with Pippo. Maybe it was time for Pippo to stop fighting against Nobita too.
Ki tum kaun ho aur mein kaun hoon (That who are you and who am I)
Pippo burst out into ugly tears as he waddled towards Nobita, crying out for the other, "Nobita!"
Nobita had only let out a concerned, "Pippo?" before pulling a crying Pippo into his arms, letting him cry his heart out into Nobita's t-shirt while he hummed a tune to him, running a comforting hand along his back.
"Tum chinta mat karo, Pippo, mein hoon na? Sab kuch thik ho jayega!"
(You don’t worry, Pippo, I’m here, right? Everything will get better!)
And this time, Pippo didn't hesitate to believe Nobita. Everything would get better.

Okay but imagine Alex and Henry jamming to the song 'Arey pyaar kar le' from the movie 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' like? Am I the only one who thinks it would be fun? June, Nora, Bea, and Pez in the background dancing. Bea playing the guitar while Alex and Henry belt out the lyrics,
" Meri Marzi Mera Dil
Jisko Doon Tujhko Kya
Duniya Wale Jo Bhi Bole
Kehne Do Mujhko Kya
Main Khullam Khulla
Aaj Ye Izhaar Karta Hu
Main Aadmi Hu
Aadmi Se Pyar Karta Hu"

If you'd add a Hindi song to your playlist, "Kya se kya ho gaya" by Mohammed Rafi is a great fit.
It's a sad song, and particularly fitting for post-TLD angsty and pining Sherlock.
Kya se kya ho gaya bewafa tere pyar mein Chaha kya, kya mila bewafa tere pyar mein Chalo suhana bharam to toota Jaana ke husn kya hai Ho chalo suhana bharam to toota Jaana ke husn kya hai Kehti hai jisko pyar duniya Kya cheez kya balaa hai Dil ne kya na saha bewafa tere pyar mein Chaha kya, kya mila bewafa tere pyar mein Tere mere dil ke beech ab to Sadiyon ke faasle hain Haan tere mere dil ke beech ab to Sadiyon ke faasle hain Yakeen hoga kise ke hum tum Ik raah sang chale hain Hona hai aur kya bewafa tere pyar mein Kya se kya ho gaya bewafa tere pyar mein (Lyrics from LyricsOff.com) || [TRANSLATION]

Sheila Ki Jawani | Kylian Mbappé
"I know you want it, but you're never gonna get it.
Tere haath kabhi na aani
(I will never come into your hands)
Maane na maane koi duniya yeh saari,
(Whether anyone believes it or not,)
Mere ishq ki hai deewani.
(This whole world is crazy behind me.)"
The music was blasting from the Bluetooth speaker that Kylian had got you for Valentine's Day after you had complained to him that your iPhone wasn't enough to jam to your favorite songs while getting ready.
Kylian, ever the attentive one, couldn't possibly not buy his bébé anything she asked for. Carefully applying the shade Limitless on your eyelids from your Huda Beauty palette, you were jamming to one of your favorite songs of all time while getting ready for your friend's birthday party. You were so happy that Kiara decided to make it Bollywood-themed because you wanted to wear the gold saree that your mother had gotten for you from her trip to India last month.
"Ab dil karta hai haule haule se,
(Now slowly my heart wants,)
Main toh khud ko gale lagaun.
(Me to embrace myself.)"
You continued shaking your hips in a sensual motion while you curled your lashes and applied a coat of mascara. To be honest, you were running a bit late and hoped Kylian wouldn't come home too soon so you could blame any tardiness on him. As a girl, you felt that being on time was overrated; no matter how much you prepared in advance, it didn't matter. What can you say? Beauty can't be hurried.
"Kisi aur ki mujhko zaroorat kya,
(I don't need anyone else,)
Main toh khud se pyar jataun.
(I'll express my love to myself.)"
This was your favorite part of the song. While waiting for the eyelash glue to dry, you struck a pose at every line.
"What's my name?
What's my name?
What's my name?
My name is Sheila, Sheila ki jawani.
(My name is Sheila, young Sheila.)
I'm too sexy for you,
Main tere haath na aani.
(I will never come into your hands.)
No no no no Shei-"
"Having fun, mon amour?" your husband's voice cut through the music as you stood there, your index finger shaking in front of the mirror with your expression stuck in a deer caught in the headlights motion.
Smirking, your husband stood there leaning against the doorway with his arms crossed.
"Kyky! What a surprise! I didn't know you were going to be home so early!" you blushed, trying to quickly put your lashes on, while wholly ignoring the fact that you were obviously late.
"Early, bébé? Really? T'es sérieuse?" he said, raising his eyebrows and walking behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist. "It's 8:00 pm, and we are supposed to leave by 8:15 pm."
"Honestly, Ky. When you really think about it, does it really matter? I mean, it's an Indian birthday party; no one's on time," you rambled on while applying your primer. "Besides, time is just a con-"
"Bébé,"
"-cept. According to Allen Bluedor, time is a result -"
"Bébé,"
"of humans interacting with each other -"
"BÉBÉ!"
"-and socialization processes," you trailed off as he spun you around in his arms and gave you a stern look that made you immediately shut up. Kylian looked positively over your antics, as his dark eyes peered into your soul. The stern press of his mouth made it clear that he was less than impressed with your incorrigible habit of not getting ready on time.
"Qu'est-ce que je t'avais dit la semaine passée quand on a failli être en retard pour la fête à ma mère?" he asked, his thumb tracing circles on your exposed hip bone. There was a predatory gleam in his eyes that had your pulse suddenly racing. A slight shiver went down your spine as you had a hard time looking into his eyes.
"Euh, que j'étais vraiment belle et que de toute façon on avait juste failli être en retard?" you said while fluttering your eyes at him. You knew you were in trouble when you felt his hands tighten around your hips, as he frowned and pursed his lips, almost surprised by your audacity.
"Et maintenant, tu mens, eh?" his growly voice sent a spark of heat into your lower belly as he slowly backed you into the counter. Feeling the edge digging into your back, you placed your hands on the planes of his chest, the soft fabric of his black kurta providing comfort despite the tension in the air.
His right hand, which was on your hip, slid up your body slowly, wrapping around your throat and giving it a light squeeze. Your breath hitched as you felt your panties dampening.
"I asked you a question, and I expect an honest answer, bébé."
"Okay, fine. You told me that if I were late one more time, you would bend me over your knees…"
"Don't get shy on me now, princesse. You've literally had my cock in your mouth."
"Oh my god, Ky. You're such a perv sometime."
"Answer me."
"You would bend me over your knees and spank my ass raw," you mumbled quickly.
"Unfortunately, mon amour, I don't have time to bend you over my knees but I'm sure this counter will do," he said while his left hand slid down your ass, giving it a possessive squeeze.
"Turn around, and bend over."
At this point, you were so turned on that you wanted him to do it, all previous traces of nervousness vanishing from your body as if it was never there in the first place. Gulping, you bit your lip, as you slowly turned around and bent over the cold countertop. you weren't wearing a bra underneath your silk robe, so your nipples were hard as they touched the cool surface.
You heard Kylian inhale sharply as he slowly lifted your flimsy robe, gradually exposing your derrière. You heard him curse as he caressed your soft flesh. A sharp smack on your ass had you whimpering as the sting left behind a film of ecstasy in your soul.
"You're going to count for me now, bébé," he said, his commanding voice slowly seducing you into submission.
"One…" The word barely left your lips when Kylian let out a snort, shaking his head not in amused disbelief at your antics. "T'es drôle. Celui-là ne compte pas."
Despite the dark lust clouding his deep brown eyes, a glint of mischief and a touch of affection shone through. You drove him absolutely mental but he loved every second of it.
"T'es méchant, tu sais," you retorted, a pout forming on your lips, challenging his authority with your audacity.
Smack.
"Deux," you said, your voice laced with defiance, determined to test his limits as the sting of his slap reverberated through you. Glancing at your reflection in the mirror, the person staring back seemed almost like a stranger. A flush of red painted your cheekbones, a vivid testament to the intensity of the moment, while your teeth sank into your plump bottom lip.
"You're such a brat. I shouldn't let you cum for a week," he admonished, his tone firm as he caressed the bruised flesh.
"No! How could you even think of doing that?" You protested breathlessly, alarmed that he would even dare deny you your pleasure.
Just as he was about to retort, the sudden ring of your phone sliced through the charged atmosphere of the room, the beginning notes of Standing Next to You breaking the intimate bubble that you were both confined in.
"Who is it, Ky?" Your voice was curious, a slight edge of impatience cutting through as you tried to peek over his shoulder at the glowing phone screen.
"Oh putain, it's Kiara."
"Oh shit, she's going to kill us. We're so late." The words tumbled out of your mouth, a laugh hiding just beneath the surface, acknowledging that your best friend was about to tear you a new one.
"I wonder whose fault that is, mon amour," Kylian smirked, his gaze teasing and accusatory all at once.
"Ugh, get over it, Ky."
Smack.
"Cheeky brat." His words were a playful growl, the affectionate smack a punctuation to your ongoing banter. "C'mon, let me help you with your saree."
"Je t'aime, bébé." you said blowing a kiss in his direction, giving him a quick peck.
He just rolled his eyes at your antics, the gesture full of love and a resigned acceptance of your playful nature.
