It should be obvious that “the world of Benoit Blanc” is the world of the story, and in the world of the story, that was the Mona Lisa. I found the idea of its being destroyed, even in the world of the story, upsetting, though, so my headcanon is that they tricked Elon Musk guy and it was a copy.
