I ordered this to sit at the entrance of our tent for our first ever camping experience. WELL WORTH THE MONEY! We went with another family and they did not have anything like this in front of their tent and TONS of dirt got tracked in. We had nothing in ours. Totally served it’s purpose. The only slight negative was when we got it and took the plastic off from the outside of it, there was tons of white flecks that were everywhere from the back of it. We were outside at a campsite, so not a huge deal. But I would not recommend this for indoor use at all because of that. When we got home my husband hosed it off on the back deck and we will be ready to use it again on our next camping trip in two weeks!!!

Rug has “low tuft” appearance…typical for inexpensive astro turf. Edges have matching color binding which would eliminate any raveling and rough edges. Would not recommend cutting it…you could…but you would no longer have the benefit of the binding. Have not noticed any color changes after two weeks exposure to intense sun 6-8 hrs per day. So far so good.

I bought This Soccer Artificial Grass for Football Field in New Zealand two years ago, and it is still terrific. I loved it so much, I bought 10 more . The new rugs are terrible and fell apart after being exposed to the sun for 10 months. The green grass peels off the back foundation. I am disappointed and will find another alternative when they all fall apart after mild exposure to northern California weather.

We added a new courtyard to the front of our home, so our three dogs and two cats have been given the porch, now renamed Critters Cove. The animals appear to enjoy it, and none have a problem with it (I’ve heard of some animals stepping over rugs like this to avoid them). My only problem with it is that lint of every kind imaginable sticks to it, and a powerful vacuum wants to suck it off the floor. So I use packaging tape to remove the lint. That’s a pain, but that’s my solution. Other than that, it’s fine.
