So, I’m writing a Skrull. yeah, we get it, i hate the fantastic four, blah blah, all that is well documented. (they’re racists and they created a prison industrial complex with the negative zone, i’m not beat)

But when I was a kid? When I was YOUNG? The FIRST marvel character I ever really fell in love with was Sage, the X-Men character.

  but after Sage!? VICTOR VON DOOM!

The force of nature who through sheer god damned force of will mastered: SCIENCE, MAGIC, MARTIAL ARTS, COSMIC STUDIES, ENGINEERING, DEMONOLOGY, TEMPORAL STUDIES, AND ARTISTRY! (I didn’t know that MF DOOM wasn’t an official Marvel Sanctioned rapper, I thought that was actually Marvel hiring a guy to write some wild ass rap lyrics as a Latverian Outreach kind of thing. I also wanted to move to Latveria as a kid, still mad about that)

Doctor DOOM (all caps) is such a fucking great character. Such a... CHARACTER!!! I still remember the first comic I ever got with him in it had him killing off one of his Doombots because it let Arcade (fucking Arcade) light a match off of him and he was like ‘who the FUCK do you think you’re programmed to be? DOOM does not let ANYONE try him like that!) and I knew right then and there: This is the guy. This is him.
