So for reasons mostly out of my control I've never watched dead poets society until today
And damn you people weren't lying
I think it has changed me o a molecular level or something
This movie has taken my soul out of my body, has given it a life lesson and put it back in my body, and I have to live with that now
#my stuff#dead poets society#I wish my literature teacher had been like Keating#Like I only had literature for one year and the man was a bit of a jerk (understatement)#By literature I mean like#Of the whole world#Usually we only study the one in Spain#Or at least of the different literary movements the ones that were in Spain#Cause it's were I live#So ok fair#But still#I'd like to learn more#Like I only studied things like epic of gilgamesh or Mary shelley with the jerk teacher#And he made the experience kinda boring#I only learned what the book said that's literally what he explained#He read from the book#So seeing mr Keating filled me with a yearning for that sort of teacher#And I kinda hate that I'm not gonna have that chance#So I'm going to use the teachings of the movie a d when I read it the book#Ok#Right#Rant over#Sorry for it lol#o captain my captain indeed
