I love Hathy bc like she technically qualifies as an emotional support pokemon along with Frostbite and Aquali but Hathy only supports me emotionally. If I cry she immediately dives to provide comfort, if literally anyone else cries she smacks their ass into next sunday.

Like her type usually gets aggressive around strong emotions and like Hathy IS towards everyone else but not me for some reason. Which I'm glad for bc I'm sensitive af and I love her.

i know we're in da mode rn, but do we think oscar is gonna get away with losing the family fortune (in terms of social standing) or do we think Everyone is gonna know about it in s3? like yes, everyone saw him having a fucking meltdown but in my headcanon oscar regularly acts insanely and everyone is used to it. like "oh, oscar van rhijn is being loud and difficult? must be tuesday" rather than "i'm going to gossip about this for the next 10 years and never let him into high society spaces again".

realistically oscar should be persona non grata if it is known what happened (and even with ada to the rescue, it would be very difficult to hide for many reasons). we also have canonical precedent for that in watson's & morris's stories. i have no clue what they're actually going to do though frankly because i'm no longer convinced they care about adhering to 1880s social mores or prior canon

my perception of 2.07 is that it's very out of the ordinary behavior for him tbh, he seems very intentionally chill and in control of himself at all times - see 1.08 for example. but only so many people saw that in particular. we also don't know how much if any social communication happened about them selling the house etc before ada other than marian telling larry?

anyway in the one social setting we see oscar in post 2.07 nobody other than his mother acknowledges him & he makes no effort to be acknowledged which is not the same as previous social settings with him. whether or not we can read anything into that though is a mystery to me <3
