Y'ever try to retrieve an .rtf file so hard it bluescreens your computer

If anyone knows anything about Wordpad file recovery - my diary for the last two years is only displaying NULLs when I open it, both in Wordpad and Notepad++, but in the preview when I search for it I can see the first couple lines, and it's shows up in a search for a keyword I know I don't have in any other file

Is there a temp file I can get into? I don't care about formatting, I just don't want to lose two years of ideas and thoughts...

#So how's y'all's day been #I'm fucking exhausted #So first of all - the file was lost so there goes two+ years of my external brain #Thoughts and feelings and ideas and struggles and successes - f't #So I get to process that later #And y'know when I woke up today I was kind of hopeful that I'd get that back - even just a bit of it #But even if I didn't at least I'd have my computer back and I could make a TV Guide and work on my queue and make some art #Haha silly me #Her first bluescreen - after I take her to a computer repair place her First bluescreen is after I try to get her some help #As I understand it - it's because of the way I configured her with her OS - since I replaced W10 with 8.1 under a different Admin #Those two in mismatch were ''fine'' because they were all a closed system #But you remove the harddrive - it's now read as an ''external'' HDD with mismatching permissions #So I have an OS and a HDD who can't talk to each other - thus bluescreen #Has never happened because she's never been serviced before #We were halfway home before I realized....#I'm....so tired #And sad of course haha #But mostly just really fucking tired #This will be so so so so so so so funny in retrospect we'll all laugh and laugh - on repeat in my head for the past several hours #But right now it fucking bites #So #I'll be back tomorrow-ish #Posts will be...sometime #I have a reblog for Christmas already planned so #Stay safe and warm out there y'all
