I imagine Rosé showing her phone to all her friends to explain vocal synths to them..

Rosé likes Teto and Miku vibes wise, but her favorite singing voices are Una and Vflower. She used to really stan Luka when she was younger but she kinda cringes seeing her around now because she associates her with teenage angst. I imagine she’s the one out of the main cast who listens to Vocaloid regularly, and her favorite songs are Android Girl and Parade of Mediocre People.

Grendan, upon doing a bit of boogleing, selected Oliver as her favorite because he reminded them of their son in that he’s sad looking and adoptable. They also enjoy Len because he found the banana song and found it unreasonably hilarious. Rosé is kind of annoyed by this because, 1, the song gets stuck in her head really easily, and 2, Grendan actively refuses to listen to any other Len songs because they “already found the best one.” Sometimes Grenda will just tease her by bringing up the song and getting it stuck in her head again.

York doesn’t really understand the appeal of Vocaloid, but one thing he does understand is that it makes Rosé happy, so he tries to cheer her on. He asked Rosé who “the best one” was, to which she replied as if on command, “Miku”, so she’s his favorite now.

Jancy also doesn’t really get Vocaloid, but at Rosé’s insistence, picked a favorite. She ended up choosing Luka just on the basis of her pleasant energy. Upon seeing Rosé’s face scrunch up, she changed her choice to Kaito instead, which Rosé rejected because “he sounds like bermit…”

Rosé proceeded to eliminate each of Jancy’s choices until Jancy settled upon having Miku as her favorite. (She still mentally likes Luka the best, but isn’t in any mood to argue.)

Eugene, continuing the trend of going only off design, likes Miku, but specifically her 2017 Snow Miku outfit and her 2024 racing outfit. I also think he’d like the look of Fuiro and Suzune. I think he’d really enjoy the Vocajazz album if he’d ever check it out.

i think the new one is super cute, she looks so soft and cosy <3 my personal favourite is the 2017 one, specifically the figma because i really love the moon and her wand! i really like the 2014 and the 2023 one too!

What are your favorite snow Mikus and racing Mikus?

Oooh good question!

So Snow Miku is pretty easy. 2017 and 2019 are at the top for me.

I also quite like Snow Miku 2021, she's adorable

Racing Miku is a bit trickier, though.

I do quite like Racing Miku 2011, she has a unique style that's definitely in the time of early Vocaloid that I like

I've always loved Racing Miku 2015, I love her knight motif

And I also really like Racing Miku 2022

So yeah I think those are all my favorites! I never really gave the racing Mikus a lot of thought, but I think 2011, 2015, and 2022 are my favorites. Snow Mikus though, I'm very sure about. I adore 2017 and 2019. 2021 is adorable, too; she looks like she'll come to my doorstep and sing carols to me.

Would love to have figures of all of them, but I don't like figmas/action figures, and the scale figures are all super expensive. Only one I've managed to get my hands on is the Racing Miku 2011 premium figure ;w;
