At Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival, we believe that actions speak louder than words!
On December 25, 2024, we had the honour of celebrating Christmas with over 200 children at one of Mumbai’s oldest orphanage, bringing them joy and warmth. This Christmas, we focused on more than just gifts—it was a day of creating lasting memories and showing the children that they are not alone.
Through meaningful moments of care and attention, we reminded them that every child deserves love, happiness and a sense of belonging, regardless of their circumstances.
Through small acts of kindness, we hoped to make a significant impact, reminding these children that they are just as loved and cherished as others.
Let’s continue to spread happiness and make the world a better place, one smile at a time!

As a part of DPIFF’s ongoing commitment towards social responsibility, we had the privilege of organising a Smile and Happiness Drive at one of Mumbai’s oldest orphanage, with the intent of spreading joy and sharing smiles with those abandoned by their families but embraced by the world!
Conducted on the occasion of Christmas, the youth team of DPIFF, came together to bring laughter and festive cheer to the children, sharing the true spirit of Christmas with them.
At DPIFF, we believe that spreading kindness and joy can create lasting change and brighten the lives of those who need it the most.
A change starts with a simple act of love and thus, every moment of happiness counts!
