This was inspired by a VERY real thing. Mewsikeen LOVES sleeping directly on my chest, with her wee face right up towards my own. It's adorable, until I fall asleep. THEN I wake up with various nightmares of choking or being suffocated. Wheee! I knew this needed to be a strip, and my GIANT GIRL ADVENTURES collaborator, Sabrina, recommended the ALIEN homage as the "dream", which was far funnier and cooler to draw than just the horror of me choking in my sleep. lol
