I said I'd write my oc's, so here's some Skyshade angst!

Zoe's heart drops. Her disappointment flows through her, a familiar feeling. It's too much, too much the same as everything else in this place. She'd almost rather forget, ignore it. But she can't. She has to focus, focus on her Lady under the Sky. Not the person who put her there.

Their back is turned. With her divine talent, she could kill her, or at least heavily sound them.

Like that was ever an option, even as the disappointment turns to something useful, something fierce.

"I don't want to hurt you." Her voice is firm and clear, only those who truly know her would see the cracks in her armor

The warning shots fires above her shoulder, nearly nicks her head, but- she catches it midair. It's unbelievably, extremely hot.

The woman she loves, the woman she'd always hoped to see again, is here, a couple dozen feet in front of her, catching her arrow midair. Zoe glimpses a blade catch the light, and then, with their supernatural speed, their blades are locked.
