Stairs from Neist lighthouse 😨

Portree is the capital and largest town on Skye, and even then it’s still pretty small.

It’s probably best known for the colorful buildings near its harbor.

Being so small, it also has a limited selection of food and souvenirs. Fortunately the fish and chips I’m able to find is right near the harbor and really really good. (heads up, they only took cash.)

Like many places in the rural UK, businesses also close pretty EARLY.

On the way back it’s dried up rather a lot, so I end up climbing the bluff that overlooks the lighthouse. What a view! It was also extremely windy!

There was a small golden egg set at the top. Still not sure what that’s about. Let me know in the comments if you have more info.
