Farm Structure with cellar, Staro Selo

Sirogojno, Serbia

This structure provides a lower space to serve as a cellar (podrum), for brandy casks and root storage, or housing for small animals. The upper level was used to store tools and to age cheese. The stone base, built into the earth provides a cooler space in the summer and warmer space in the winter. The timber and plank construction is topped with a timber and wooden purlin roof structure with a straw (slama) roofing. The double finials and eave pins aid in stabilizing the straw roofing materials. (photo 1987)

The Stopića Cave is a limestone cave near Sirogojno, on the slopes of Mount Zlatibor in western Serbia. It has been protected by the state as a natural monument. It is located in the village of Rožanstvo, 19 kilometres (12 mi) from the town of Zlatibor. This photograph shows cascading tufa "bathtubs" filled with water within the cave.

Udruženje banja Srbije i Srbija detoks tim uspešno završili Merkur detoks program

Novi projekat Udruženja banja Srbije – Upoznaj sebe putujući Srbijom – je svoj život započeo u Vrnjačkoj Banji, u RH centru MERKUR. U tri dana (14 – 16.05.) ovog događaja učesnici su se upoznali sa načinima kako da hranu pretvore u lek, koliko je pokret važan u procesu detoksa i naučili osnove šumske terapije.

Budući da je detoksikacija organizma duži postupak, događaj koji nazivamo detoks ima edukativnu crtu – da učesnike nauči kako da sami sprovode uspešan detoks. O tome smo vodili računa u procesu kreiranja pojedinačnih programa.

Svi obroci u Merkuru su pripremani u skladu sa strogim kriterijumima pravilne ishrane, a da svojim izgledom izmame osmehe učesnika. U tome nam je pomogla Prim dr Danijela Karamarković. Na sledećim događajima planiramo praktične vežbe u pripremi zdrave hrane, pri tome vodeći računa o međusobnom odnosu namirnica.

Šumska terapija je sprovedena na obližnjem Goču, po mišljenju stručnjaka najšumovitijoj planini Srbije. Ovaj vid terapije je sertifikovan u Zdravstvenom savetu Srbije i podrazumeva niz jedinstvenih tehnika kretanja, disanja i vežbi, a pod budnim okom i uputstvima svetki priznatog stručnjaka, Prim dr Gorane Isailović.

Ovaj prvi događaj u nizu koji sledi bio je iskorišćen i za upoznavanje učesnika sa prirodnim bogatstvom Vrnjačke Banje – mineralnim i termalnim vodama. Sledeći prirodni lekoviti faktor koji ćemo koristiti jeste vazduh Zlatibora.

Od 25. do 27. juna eto nas u Muzeju na otvorenom u Sirogojnu. Tamo Vas očekuju tri dana potpune relaksacije, učenja o zdravim životnim navikama, zdravim proizvodima, šumski velnes i opuštanje u otvorenim bazenima jedinstvene banje u Srbiji – Visoka!

Biće tamo i spremanje hrane na ognjištu, sakupljanje lekovitog bilja, šumskih plodova, lišća za pravljenje slika, zidnih novina, „bird watching“, pravljenje biljnih jastučića za „pinda sweda“ masažu, masaža zvučim čnijama, …

The name 'kuća' is an important word that has many meanings: total estate, principal dwelling, simple dwelling, and hearth. This assembled complex, within the traditional fence, contains a number of dwellings and outbuildings. The elder couple and unmarried children reside in the principal dwelling that contains the hearth (dwelling with cupola and smoke vents). The married couples each have their own dwelling. Outbuildings for the storage of produce, protection of animals, closed oven for baking, and the aging of cheese are also present. (photo 1988)

a/n: kay, by now y'all should know i'm obsessed with cats, OKAY!? it's obvious cuz i include them in my fanfics and moodboards ;-; i just want a kitty pweasseeee + rescuing kittens is basically a fantasy of mine :"D.

It was another day, another weekend- except this time, you and Wanda were seated in a cafe, sipping on your drinks. Not every day did you have the chance of getting Wanda all to yourself, after all, the Avengers had the responsibility of protecting people. Hence, most days were gone by training, attending parties or going on missions. As if that wasn’t enough; Pietro would sabotage your dates with Wanda; you weren't sure if it was intentional or not. Of course, you understood Pietro’s love for his younger twin, but that did not excuse him to interrupt your time with your girlfriend- time which you rarely got.

The dragging of the chair pulled you out of your reverie, as you looked up at Wanda standing.

“Shall we go?”

“Okay.” You nodded

Leaving behind the heavenly scent of coffee and cocoa, you followed Wanda out of the cafe, eyeing her back as she strolled. She opted for a button-down midi dress for the day- instead of her usual leather jacket or Sirogojno sweater; since it was too hot. Summer wasn’t a season Wanda liked, but you loved it. Though your reasons were unusual, you didn't like it because of summer activities but because of Wanda herself. You loved it because you got to see her in cute flowy dresses, see her sun-kissed skin glow under the sun and her dark luscious hair swaying with her every movement in a long ponytail. Maybe you loved summer a little too much-

You were both nearing the car when Wanda let out an excited squeal and tugged at your arm.

Perplexed, you looked at her with confusion, “What happened?”

“Just come with me!” She grabbed your arm and dragged you along to a corner, where a brown cardboard box sat isolated.

With your arm in hers, you knelt in front of the box with Wanda, looking at the huddled kittens with awe.

“Look- kittens! They’re so adorable. I could almost cry,” She cooed.

“Aww….they don't have a collar or any tag. Either they’re strays or abandoned.” You frowned, looking at the kittens with sympathy. They stared at you and meowed with shiny hopeful eyes; it hurt your whole body and heart to see them like that.

“Babe, let’s take them,” Wanda declared.

“I’m sorry what?” you asked, not believing your ears.

“Let’s take these kittens in! We can’t just leave them here, starving and lost- that’s too cruel,” she said.

“I don’t know- don’t think Tony would like that much.”

“Come on, I’m sure he won’t mind. Besides! Who can resist kittens? And thankfully, no one has any cat allergies from the team.”

With that, Wanda grabbed the cardboard box and headed to the car quickly, there was a certain bounce to her feet as she drew closer, fishing out her keys- she passed the box to you. Someone was definitely giddy about adopting cats.

Once in the car, you turned to Wanda as realization hit you, “Babe- we’re forgetting something.”

“What?” She quirked an eyebrow.

“We need cat toys and cat food, we also need to book an appointment with a vet.” You said while petting the soft fur of the kittens as you held onto the box tightly

“Oh! Don’t worry, we can ask Bruce if he knows any Vet and as for the food and toys- I already have them bought,” she giggled before adding, “I kinda had a hunch that we’d get cats someday, so already prepared for it.”

You shrugged at that, not knowing what to say.

Light cooing and awws filled the Avengers headquarters as the team fought who’d get to hold the kittens or clean them.

“I GET TO PET THE KITTY.”

“HEY! YOU CAN’T STEAL MARCO OUT OF MY HANDS-”

“Marco? Don’t decide the names by yourself! That’s unfair.”
