Just two Thai actresses who weren't the main character mom and step mom of main characters but still made me feel some sort of way.

Don’t mind me, I’ll just be over here completely unable to get over Teacher Waree’s beauty.

Glad everyone's on board 🏼 And now to pull out a few things from the tags and comments:
@miscellar suggested A Passin with Nat Sakdatorn (both pics below). Okay I buy this ship too...OR I raise you further to make it a poly romance with Ron Patarapon To-oun (Dika) as well? (Incidentally, Nat has already done a queer romance - in the film Fathers, so he'd probably be up for it!)

@onnasannomiya suggested Peter Knight and Ex Piya as leads in a romcom and I would just like to say DADDY CHAN MY BELOVED! Yes I would love to see Peter in something like this. Not so sure about Ex Piya but that's probably because I didn't like his character in KinnPorsche (which means he did a great job at acting). So Yes! I'm on board this ship too 👏🏼

I'll just note that if we add one more into the mix then we could potentially re-cast Only Friends...just sayin'...(maybe Sarawut Siriphet from 21 Days Theory as mentioned by @respectthepetty)
And then on to @stillherestillqueer and I offer you the first two women I thought of for our older queer female show, Sine Inthira Charoenpura and Donut Manatsanun Panlertwongskul (@respectthepetty I know you'd be up for Sine but I hope you approve of Donut!):

Okay, hear me out... When I wrote that I'd wished GMMTV had given us an older queer romance with the actor who plays Pran's dad in Bad Buddy, A Passin, I couldn't think of anyone else who he could be paired with. But then it hit me today. The actor who plays Aye's uncle in The Eclipse!

Look, with the success of Old Fashion Cupcake, I'm sure there'd be an audience for this. Just look at them! I mean L👀K (at their extensive acting experience, of course)

tagging some people who might share my sentiment (just ignore me if not 🤷🏽‍♀️ I will float this ship alone if I have to): @binary5tar @respectthepetty @shortpplfedup @liyazaki @jemmo @miscellar @absolutebl @heretherebedork @ablazenqueen

Indeed. Everyone should have a crush on Sine Inthira Charoenpura.
We’ve seen her in quite a few BLs. She was Thun’s mom in He’s Coming To Me, and Toh’s mom in Secret Crush On You. She had a role in My Gear and Your Gown, which I can’t really recall right now. Not BL, but something I enjoyed, she was in The Gifted: Graduation. She’s Thana’s wife in 3 Will Be Free.
She’s quite the veteran.
Is it weird if I have a crush on teacher Waree? 👀
absolutely not anon lmao she's stunning and anyone who says otherwise is wrong jhdsfjds

oh, that sounds very plausible @dimondlite. I know next to nothing about the Thai aristocracy, but she has the demeanor of someone very comfortable in her privilege and used to being obeyed. (even more than Chadok, maybe?)

I'm so fascinated by the costuming choice to have Teacher Waree be the only character at the school in bright colors. The Eclipse seems to be very deliberate about its political allegory, so I suspect there's a reason for it, but as of yet, I'm not sure what.
Someone (maybe @respectthepetty?) pointed out that her expensive clothes show her as wealthy in contrast to Teacher Sani's precarious class position. But they could have done that with authoritarian black or navy blue. Why the vibrant colors? There is quite likely some symbolism I'm missing here because I'm not Thai.
