Having you in his arms, during the early rise of another glorious sun basking morning, was a blessing of comfort for him—reminder that he has won.

While you might haven't been in your best shape these past weeks, bedridden with stress-fever and fatigue of an aching body—muscles, bones and limps still not properly healed over the last years from not only a long past, but also from a recently present fight—Sinbad still had a pleasuring night with you.

Sinbad had a tight grip on your shackle free wrist, tracing his thumb over the bumpy rough whiteish—which resembles more like a strike of lightning or a starry filled row in the nights sky—patch of scared skin.

It's a constant reminder of pain filled past for the both of you and yet, whenever he traces the skin—taking a glance—he felt a wave of pridefulness rushing through him.

After all it had been him, Sinbad himself (and not Kouen) who had freed you—all those years ago, from the iron clutches of slavery—befriended you and brought you back to your kingdom, creating a new alliance and trade-partner.

It had been him, him alone. He's your saviour, the only man you need in your life—Sinbad's the man you're now married to, the only person you will love and be devoted till the very end—till Death.

»Rest well my prince« whispered Sinbad huskily into your ear, prepping a few kisses over your face and onto your swollen lips, knowing well that you're way too out of it—deep in slumber, to be aware of anything around you in your non conscious state.

Sinbad pulled out from you, stretching his body and getting out of the warm comfort of the bed—although he rather wanted to sleep in and having you cuddle up in his arms.

Sinbad heaved out a sigh, slumping in his seat as the stacks of paperworks and parchments towering over him on his desk.

Such a tedious task to do as a king, mused Sinbad—rather preferring you on his lap or walking through the palace garden with you, than doing paperwork—but alias, he needs to suffer through it anyways.

His folk is—just like you—priority over everything.

»Nadia says [Name] might be healthy enough to leave bed early this afternoon. So, if you complete your tasks, you can be there.« Ja'far dropped another roll of parchment onto his desk, while informing Sinbad of your health, leaving the study without waiting for a reply.

Sinbad smiles, Ja'far—his good dear friend—had gone a bit colder towards him, but hearing about your health improvement does lift Sinbads mood and he's ready to complete all his today paperworks neatly, just so he could be with you again.

Maybe, if you're coherent enough, Sinbad would carry you through the gardens—after all, you're found of flowers and he knows how much enjoyment they brought you—but he rather would have a repeat of last night, nibbling on your skin again and hearing your moans of his name.

With a gaps—sitting up in a rush—as if someone had sucked out all the air of breath from your lungs, you awoke from the clutches of dreams—which felt more like a nightmare, getting more and more realistic—and for a moment you didn't recognises your own bedroom, till you spotted the familiarity of the embroidery rug on the wall.

While still feeling the pain of last nights activity in your lower area, you turned your head towards the open window—a slight breeze of salty sea air passing thru and where an ever so blue summer sky was permanent yet again.

Today you felt much better than you had been in the last few weeks, more energetic even and your limps tingling—when heaving yourself out of bed, holding onto the sheets for support—for some movements again as they feel rather stiff and sore and more like a deadweight.

Longing for some much needed fresh air and a change of scenery, you decided—since you didn't know when either Sinbad or Nadia would come to you—to get yourself ready and making your way out of the room and into the gardens.

The Gardens, every kind of them—especially the ones in your home country and (those you preferred much more) in the Kou-Empire—had always been your favourite place to be, just seeing the colourful beauty of floral variety and growing nature had something magnificent magical to it (and it been joked, that the way to your heart would be flowers, which was definitely true—because otherwise you wouldn't have been married a second time)

Walking on the sandy paths through the garden, you felt the slight breeze of summer—which ghosted your skin—and the ray of sun, basking in their warmth, truly a good day to be outside and yet a sense of homesickness rolls over your joyful mood, damping it down.

Sindria—despite having a bit of lonesomeness now, as all your friends had gone back to their respective countries and now, although Sindria being big in populations (not as large as Reim or Kou of course) it feels as if it was only you, Sinbad, Ja'far and Nadia in the palace—was your home now, but so had been the Kou-Empire once as well and you missed it greatly.

You stopped at the pond, sitting down next to it—an ache flaring up heatedly in your legs, having put a bit—even when walking slowly and with steady steps, looking a bit wobbly—too much strain for your muscles—and while gazing upon the waters surface, seeing your own reflection in it, you sucked in a breath.

Kouen.

The tears welled up in your eyes and the first sobs rips through your lips—feelings of guilt and shame crawls through your heart, because not only haven't you thought of Kouen in a long time, but you also haven't send a prayer to him in the above.

Kouen had been your first husband, he's the man which had captured your heart—after whisking you away from your suffocating family and demanding an arrangement marriage with you—and who you loved so deeply, like the mortal prince had loved the godly sun.

And dear, dear god, do you miss Kouen—missing him so much, that your heart could break once more—and this time, no one could mend it into a healing—that you could weep for hours and days long once more again, because you just miss Kouen.

Of course you loved Sinbad such as much—as you had loved Kouen—otherwise you wouldn't have married him, but sometimes your heart aches for what's lost now and new wave of guilty regrets washes over you.

It had been Sinbad—after Kouens death—who had been there, in your weeping hours and comforting you through your grieving thoughts.

It had been Sinbad who took care of you, when you had been injured badly during a battle and gave you the much needed support throughout your recovery.

It had been Sinbad, whose understanding enough to give you some needed time of grievance and space—before confessing his love to you and showering you in nothing but sweet love, mending your broken heart back with a new flourishing love.

»My prince is crying, why?«

You flinched in surprise upon hearing Sinbads voice so close to you hear and his arms around your stomach—Sinbad lifts you back up into a standing, moving you in his arms that you're facing him.

When looking up at your husband, through tear stained eyes, you notice the sky's colour being now of orange and red—feeling upset with yourself, how you had wasted days time with crying.

You widen your eyes in horror, couldn't believe that you missing Kouen—and the still remaining grief—was a waste of time, how could you dare to think such unforgivable mean thought.

»Tell me, [Name]. What does made my prince so sad?« Sinbad asks again, swaying slightly with you from side to side—holding you close as you closed your eyes and leaned your head against his chest, hearing his heartbeat.

»I'm sorry Sinbad, I'm sorry. It's not fair to you, but I just keep missing Kouen....«

Sinbad shush you, telling you that it's alright—while leading you back inside the palace and towards the bedroom—but there's a visible sneer of anger on his face.

It had been past midnight, when Sinbad had been finished with you—after rounds and rounds of passionate love making and marking your skin with all sorts of bruises (especially love bites, tons of them), just to make it clear—to remind you—to whom you belong now.

After all, you're married to Sinbad and you belong solely to him and only him—so you still thinking of Kouen, after all these years and the damned work Sinbad had put into to have you return his love, makes Sinbad incredibly upset—mad even—and he had to stop himself from strangling you into unconsciousness, just to show who's your King.

Ja'far—as your friend—could only pity you, because despite your love for Sinbad was nothing but genuine sincere (and stupid naïve), Sinbads love to you was only a possession for him.

Sinbad wasn't Sinbad anymore, Ja'far knew this all too well—but you? You still believed it's the same Sinbad from childhood, who had been so heroic and promised you a better future.

And while Ja'far would always be on Sinbad side, he does pray to the heavens that you realise just how toxic Sinbad has become and free yourself from him.

Sonic and the Secret Rings Prologue and Sonic profile translations

I’ve been intending to do this for a while but health issues delayed it. Ah well, here it is anyway.

My name is Shahra... the spirit of the ring. Have you ever read the Arabian Nights? They are thrilling tales told by a nobleman's daughter named Shahrazad to the selfish King Shahryar.

The stories that the nobleman's daughter told were so enthralling that King Shahryar requested for her to tell him more stories, and the tales continued for many nights... Accordingly, This why the "Arabian Nights" is also called the "Stories of One Thousand and One Nights".

The Arabian Nights is full of tales of magic and adventure. For example, "Ali Baba and the 40 Thieves", "The Adventures of Sinbad" and "Aladdin and the Magic Lamp". I am the fairy of the magic ring from "Aladdin and the Magic Lamp".

In the world we reside in now, inside the book of "Arabian Nights", something terrible is happening. A powerfully-magical malevolent spirit is trying to harvest the characters and cause the world of the "Arabian Nights" book to vanish...

If that happens, not only will you not be able to read the "Arabian Nights" anymore, but the malevolent spirit with that power will also try to erase the real world that you reside in...

That is why I have come to the "Legendary Blue Hedgehog" for assistance. I believe that he will surely save our world...

And I want him to stop the malevolent spirit from running wild.

I would like to share a happy thing that happened to me today, but I gotta share some frustrating/sad health things so you understand why it hit me so hard.

I've talked before about how I get sick a lot. I'm sick right now. My fever broke this morning and I was finally able to sit up on my own again like 4 hours ago. MY FEVER IS BACK OVER 103°F as I'm typing this. F me!! I was also bedridden at the start of Dec and 5 other times in 2023 -not including the less sick days. I miss when everyone masked everywhere. Those 2 years I only got sick once!

So as I'm laying here, barely able to move, feeling increasingly more isolated,and slowly forgeting how time works, a package that wasn't supposed to get here until the end of the month arrived!!

I thought of Sin immediately when I saw the preorder. (It's his color scheme and he "dies" in the end) I already have plans to customize the chains etc. And even tho it still hurts to breathe a bit I have something to hyperfixate on that can distract me from what I'm going through ;u;

I rarely buy myself things because so much goes to medical and my cats. This is the first time I've ever gotten an ita bag or spent this much on pins and keychains, so I was really nervous looking at the price, but now that they're here im so happy ;u;

Legendary comedian Sinbad made his long-awaited return to the stage for the “Netflix is a Joke” fest. Billed as the “biggest comedy festival in North America,” the Netflix fest is a partnership between the streaming giant and Live Nation that ran from May 2nd to 12th. Featuring more than 400 live stand-up shows with some of the best burgeoning and veteran comedians in the world; the festival descended on Los Angeles for 12 days of laughter in the city’s most historic venues. 

Four years ago, the beloved comedian suffered a stroke as a result of a blood clot that traveled from his heart to his brain, the Los Angeles Times reports. Earlier this year, he returned to social media to thank fans for all of the love, prayer, and support while announcing that he’d soon be returning to the spotlight.

“Expect to see more of me soon…You can’t believe it? You better believe it. Miracles happen,” Sinbad said in his video.

This year, he began making appearances again, joining his fellow cast members from “A Different World” on their HBCU Tour via Zoom to address students from Clark Atlanta, Spelman, and Morehouse at the Atlanta University Center (AUC).

“It’s wild that the kids even know who I am. That’s beautiful,” he later said in a social post. 

Now the “Jingle All The Way” star has finally hit the stage again, joining attendees of Netflix is a Joke to close out the festival. Assisted by a walking staff and family members, he arrived on stage to thunderous applause as the host announced the icon’s arrival. Seated, Sinbad called his return a miracle.

“I’m gonna tell you something – it is a miracle for me to come out tonight, even to be walking with that staff. I feel good that I can do that because the left side of my body was affected. My left hand, my left leg, just quit,” he told the audience. 

He went on to encourage attendees to watch their words and the material they used in their jokes. He reflected on some of his earlier stand-up routines while also cracking a few jokes in tribute to his wife, who has stuck by his side. 

“Be careful what you talk about. Remember I did my joke about having a stroke? You gotta be careful what you talk about because you’ll bring it to fruition. Thank God I did have the woman I talked about, the strong woman who loved me…This is your marriage vows, better or worse, in good health, bad health, rich or poor…Because I know with some of the dumb stuff I did during my marriage, I know some days when I’m in this wheelchair at the top of the steps, I know you’re up there thinking, ‘I know what you did,’” he joked. 

As the audience burst into laughter, one thing was clear: Sinbad’s still got it and will always be one of the greatest comedians to ever do it. Here’s wishing the legend a full recovery. We can’t wait to see him at the next show.

She'd be lying if she said he hadn't surprised her. She had been so into concintrating on what she was doing that she hadn't even notice him approach. Wynter turned to him as she placed her bow back onto her back securely. He must have been King Sinbad, it wasn't hard to figure out, he was exactly how people described how he looked.

Wynter opened her mouth to speak but the sound of his stomach interuppted her and she tried her best not to giggle. Seemed like she didn't have a choice if he asked her to dine with him this way.

"Well, when you put it that way it seems I don't have much of a choice, now do I?" She smiled at him. "After all, a Kind shouldn't work on an empty stomach."

I love this movie!! It was a favourite of mine as a kid and teen. I haven't seen it in ages and I have to watch it again!

I totally agree with you. I usually write Levi and reader having this playful fighting dynamic and them falling in love over time.

I love writing a tough reader who can fight for herself as I'm a tomboy and always have been. I write a tough reader for representation as there's so many ladies written as waiting to be saved, well I wanna kick ass and do the saving, you know?

I love the dynamic in this movie and I love how cute and funny it is. I love how he's a bit clumsy with love and is trying to protect her too, but allows her to be tough when he gets to know her.

It's just a beautiful movie. I got into it because as a kid my grandad showed me Jason and the Argonauts, and Sinbad which used stop motion in the movie. I adored it so much especially the stop motion skeletons and the Cyclops!!

The love for those movies brought me to this animation movie 💕

i vote one of the bully breeds for a pet dog (mastiff, bulldog, bull terrier, pitbull, cane corso, boxer, great dane, rottweiler, etc) just because im biased bc i grew up with mastiffs and mastiff mixes, and i love this group of dogs so fucking much they tend to not be adopted from shelters and stuff bc they have a bad rep or are "ugly" dogs. so anytime an author goes "what kinda dog should i put in the game?", im like "i goTTA ADVOCATE FOR MY BABIES" lmao

unfortunately, tho i love the other breeds SO FUCKING MUCH (dont talk shit about pitbulls to me, i will fight a bitch about how bad/abusive dog owners have ruined their rep), the best one of the bully breeds for this game specifically would probably be a mastiff?

mastiffs esp (some famous mastiffs/mastiff adjacent dogs (eg dogue de bordeux, cane corso, etc) include: Hercules/Beast from The Sandlot, Fang/Hagrid's dog from the Harry Potter series, Spike from Dreamworks' Sinbad, Hooch from Turner & Hooch, etc) since they tend to be good "apartment dogs". bc of temperment and activity levels, yknow. theyre not a very active dog breed; they generally only want one good walk a day and minimal to moderate playing (as opposed to more active and high-energy dogs like golden retrivers or labradors, which require a lot more training), which would fit in better with a college student or detective's schedule. they dont need a LOT of training bc they wont accept much more than basic teaining lmao, theyre hilariously stubborn dogs who will go "sit?? what sit? ive never heard of sit in my life (unless you give me a treat, then im ALL about sit)"

in addition, theyre slobbery which is good for comedic reasons (just keep a couple of rags in every room. slobber when left on clothes dries like shiny water, and wiped-off slobber dries like it was never there at all. extremely easy to stain-treat) since they slobber after water/food, exercise, or when excited/anxious

but yeah. theyre a very Gentle Giant dog grouping. theyre noitroriously good with kids even though they have a scary dog bark (good security system tho lmao). theyre also very protective. and like. i can say from exp, people will either cross the street while you walk your dog (which is 90% of the time, including if they have a dog) or they will hurry over and go "OMG IS THAT A MASTIFF?? HOW CUTE" which will probably help grayson's anxiety about mc being their own the rare time it happens lmao. mastiffs that are purebred, it depends on what adjacent or subcategory you go for (eg dogue de bordeux live for 6 to 7 years, typically. but some breeds of mastiff, like neopolitans live for 8 to 10, and english mastiffs can live for 6 to 12) which not only means you will definitely have an old gray-muzzled porch puppy when mc comes back BUT ALSO can be used to imply grayson's devotion on another level. like, one blogger articulately said "[Generally,] Mastiff[ breed]s [can] live [for] 6 - 12 years. These dogs are sadly prone to developing lymphoma and bone cancer. Regular preventative vet visits are key to increasing their lifespan [...] A healthy, high-quality diet will keep your dog in good shape and prevent the early onset of arthritis or diabetes. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure when it comes to your Mastiff’s health." mastiff-mixes can live a bit longer, like my family took on a couple of mastiff-labrador mixes (ehich are called Mastadors, which is adorably badass). but? on the whole, i just think grayson being devoted to keeping a smaller-lifespan dog healthy for as long as possible is really cute and really sweet ♡ plus, this is a dog breed that shows their age so going from bby puppy to BIG PUPPY to OLD, GRAY-MUZZLED BIG PUPPY will help with mc being confronted with how much time has passed

plus, mastiffs tend to like people more than other dogs. this depends on the dog's personality, but most mastiffs ive had have preferred going to a dog park to walk around and get everyone to pet them than they do play with other dogs. in addition, my family found out we have to walk around with our mastiffs to get them to walk around (and yknow.. get exercise) at the dog park, bc if we sit?? they just sit down by us. very loving yet nonchalant protector pups. this also means, theyre a dog that is VERY OBVIOUS THAT THEYVE MISSED YOU. our mastiffs do the happy-tappy feet-dance when we picked them up from the groomers, and whined and buried their faces wherever they could reach-- not to even mention when we have gone trips, theyve been SO happy and clingy when we come home. all of them. though we picked up our dogs from shelters, so they were already Pretty Anxious Dogs that didnt like to be seperated for long (though their way of showing this wqs laying down and sighing loudly and pouting while looking longingly at the door-- rather than, like, tearing shit up like a dog wuth more energy might do (tho we have purposefully left our dogs with something of our scent to chew on while they missed us, like a used sock, but that was NECESSARY, it was just additional comfort))

also, for another piece of comedy-- our mastiffs at least (we've either had a long ass streak or this dog breed is just EXTREMELY tolerant (which they are, but shh)) have either tolerated/liked or FUCKING LOVED clothes. like dog-clothes. especially Thunder Jackets (which is a jacket you put on a dog with anxiety); but also all of ours have liked simple dog costumes, and all kinds of dog sweaters and doggy raincoats and whatnot (none of ours could keep on headgear-- like an angel's halo or a hood. but shirts, sweaters, and ponchos and the like?? hell yeah lmao)

along with their sleepy nature, they tend to really want cuddles. even tho theyre too big to be a lap dog. theyll still wanna rest their face on your lap or dig their face into your neck (esp if you let them jump or teach them how to "dance" lmao -- just be careful, their hips are one of the first things to go if theyre not healthy in their old age). ive found my mastiffs to be very emotionally supportive as a result, which probably helped out grayson both in the aftermath of mc going missing and on bad days/bad cases in general

i also wanna add the detail that mastiffs dont really "yap" which is great for apartments. they do this howl-like bark, which is admittingly v loud-- but they also dont often bark at people passing by the door or leaving a package, usually just interacting with the door (aka opening it). and their barks tend to be p singular. so theyll do a single howl-bark and maybe build up from a growl to power up a second "bark". more often, therell just be whining at the door bc they miss their owner and/or have to pee and therefore want the door opened as fast as possible. but yeah. they dont bark much; theyre p silent dogs lmao

also look at those wrinkly, drooly faces and tell me the name "Spinach Puff" isnt perfect for one of them to be named. go on and try-- you cant lmao

but yeah. i dont wanna assume youll pick mastiffs after this, bc thatd be hella entitled of me and i know theyre not a dog (and neither is the bully breed as a whole) that everyone is into. you have to be a proactive dog-owner if you have a large dog (you cant just pick them up when they misbehave (and therefore potentially never train them) like you can with small dogs). theres even a "proper way to hold the leash" for these dogs that can easily weigh 115+ pounds and be much stronger than you as a result (its essentially a modified levee system where you hold the leash upwards so, no matter how much muscle they have on you, they arent going far). but yeah-- **IF** you end up going with mastiffs, im always down to answer questions about them (and further explain the way i was taught at an early age to hold their leash-- tho there is some easy comedy for you there, behind a dog lunging and the dog-walker being dragged along after them)

i hope this helped-- either in helping you pick mastiffs/a bully breed dog, or in helping you i guess further eliminate what kinda dog you want to write (i will say-- pay attention to what kinda dog would be best for their apartment lifestyle, esp if they dont live on the first floor and therefore the dog needs to go into an elevator/down flights of stairs to go to the bathroom (my neighbors' puppy RUINED our 3rd-floor's hallway's carpet, which grayson and mc's puppy probably also did if they dont live on a first-floor lmao rip). itd be the most responsible decision for mc and grayson to have a low-energy dog that would do well in an apartment, as opposed to a higher-energy dog that would need more frequent walks and/or a backyard lmao)

i will be honest. this is such a cracky idea. i just thought abt hal as a radio host and it all went down from there; also au where sinestro hasn’t gone off the piss colored deep end yet of course

“What,” Sinestro all but barks, teeth bared at the smug human face he could practically imagine beaming at him off the surface of his ring.

“Tune into the Oa broadcast frequency.” Is all Hal says, the laugh he’s swallowing audible. Somehow, Sinestro’s irritation hasn’t faded.

“Why would I do that?”

“Be-cause,” His once-student sing-songs, the faintest of clicks heard through their connection- Sinestro realizes he’s doing something, distracted with it. They sound like switches. “Someone just found the god damn space radio station of my very dreams nestled into the ass end of Oa, that’s why. How did I never know this was here?”

Ah, that. It had been so long since he’d even devoted a thought to that defunct old structure Sinestro didn’t immediately recall where it even was. It was mostly underground, constructed in the case of communication loss between ringbearers and to launch Lantern Corps messages to other worlds. Frankly, the gnomes they called Guardians had made plenty of bizarre projects in their long lives, and the station was simply one of them. Between all their combined power and networking between rings, it was more than obsolete.

How typical Hal would find himself enamored with it.

Ugh, Sinestro did remember those broadcasts, blared over the damn speakers instead of consciously opted into via ring comms. He can’t chase off the thought of Jordan droning on with some inane human platitudes over a congregation of very tired Lanterns and almost feels fit to make a visit to the Guardians for the safety of the Corps mental health.

A loud clattering, and more vague sounds of upset from Hal- Why hadn’t Sinestro hung up yet, was the question, and suddenly the human returns. “-that’s fine. Anyway, take a listen in a few hours, give me some pointers.”

“My only pointer is that this is a waste of time.” Sinestro says honestly, fingers pinching the flat bridge of his nose. Hal had a great talent for making time pass, which was, he decided, the one reason Sinestro had answered at all. As Hal had said, the commute between ones home planet and Oa was a long one.

“You’re supposed to listen first!” Hal insists, unaffected as always. “Don’t miss it, Sinbin.”

Sinestro can’t spit out his utter distaste before Hal has already severed the connection.

out of all the chapters you wrote so far do you have a favourite?

You can pretty much tell which are my favorites based on how much art is in them, but my absolute favorite has got to be is either [33] or [34] because I've been wanting to write those scene since not long after I started posting the fic :3 The flirting, the doming Sinbad, the 'oh' moment finally happening. I have a bunch of favorites for different reasons. They are more groups of chapters since I tend to write 2-3 chapters at a time and have to figure out how to break them up for posting.

My favorite chapters in chronological order:

Chapter [4] & [5] are special because it was writing that version that made me want to start posting. I already posted the Dead End version of ch4, and I'll be doing the same with 5 soon. I'm trying to figure out how I want to handle the art since it's very talk heavy.

Chapter [9] has to be listed because it's the start of the first arc I couldn't shut up about to my family. Writing about my health issues was a big deal for me. It greatly helped me in respecting my own limits and letting myself rest. I over a bit more metical trauma every time I write about Mori being sick.

Chapter [11] is the first chapter I felt the need to turn almost completely into a comic. It was very much about the joy of unmasking around my favorite characters and nerding out X3

Chapter [15] is also a fave for having some of my favorite jokes and references in it, and it's also nerding out. It was really fun all the way through.

Chapter [24] is super special to me because it is the first chapter where the characters changed my plans so far I basically went on hiatus. Sinbad and Ja'far doing that much math was not in the plans and honestly, it's part of why I take so extra long between chapters now. I'm having to pull plot points that weren't supposed to happen until after Sinbad comes back from the Kou Empire.

Chapter [25] is another that I was just so happy with because of the jokes and references. I also used it as an excuse to study Jojo's more in recreating that Rohan scene using Mori UwU

The whole Gender, Jewelry, & Flirting arc [28] [29] [30] is extra special to for it being my coming out chapters. I thought I was going to have to introduce the concept of transness to the world before I found the side comic that showed the okama (Japanese gay and trans stereotype) was more than just antagonists in the canon. So much of chapters 28 & 29 were things I didn't think I'd be able to explore for several more years. I did get a ton of hate comments on AO3 for saying the trans women are women and therefore Sinbad would be attracted to them. It's why ch 29 has the added reminder that this is my fic. Don't like don't read. Ch30 is one I reread often because I love how smooth I got the flirting, and it's when I finally got to give Mori Sinbad's choker :D

Since I already explained 33&34, I want to give [36] for being the chapter with the fewest about of drafts and edits. I got it in 1 and then just tweaked the wording. The way everything fell into place was beautiful and convenient. Chapters [35] & [37] were the hardest to write, so 36 being so easy between them was really nice -u- 37 was the hardest so far and took over 30 drafts -the average is 8-12.

Bonus: My Least Favorite part of the whole fic is the transition between [16] [17]. I was way too stubborn about keeping to the character count per ch limit I gave myself, and too stubborn about getting rid of certain moments to accommodate that. I tried to use Ja'far as a plot device to transition the chapters but it was a total flop. If I ever went back and rewrote sections that would be the first, followed by removing all references to my synesthesia. I've been considering doing that for a while, but I'm not sure what to do with the older versions. I don't just want to delete them. Posterity is important to me. I'll probably move the old versions of scenes being changed to the end of the chapter for those that want to (re)read them.

scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave): i wouldn't call him underrated at all he might even be overrated(?) but it's Jamie sorry I love his adult autism swag. now the thing no one talks about is how his episodes are really vehicles for Pearl lore foreshadowing like hello???? whats up with that? wheres the content about self recognition through the other (derogatory) (they hate eachother) (its so funny pleease)

as for somebody actually underrated I love Mr. Smiley they just put Sinbad in the show?? I love all the boardies they are my friends

glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week): Rhodonite.... rip in pieces Rhodonite backstory episode she's so so cute she's a scrunkly actually

poor little meow meow (“problematic”/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave): Rose but also Ronaldo. okay see back in high school when the show just started I had a crush on him and he was my #1 blorbo. the stuff I made up about him and the all the Frymans is still encrusted in my brain like the barbeque sauce you cant scrape off the inside of the microwave and sometimes I forget it's not canon. dear reader whenever think you are cringe no you are not. also dont worry about it. we all have to be a little cringe sometimes for our health yknow it's whatever
