Loisirs is born as an exercise that goes beyond the usual productive practice with which the sound designer has interfaced until now. Here everything is more of jet, a production of belly, which vomits nostalgic and austere senses, children of the already known melodies present in previous albums, which go to unhinge her signature sound. The title Loisirs comes from a provocation in terms of the relationship that the music producer is going to have with the experience of live electronics. The so-called "pastime", or rather, the hobby classifies a social class within which Simona has never wanted to identify, it generates areas of its explication that has to take into account the social effect that is going to arise. The productive phase, strictly intimate, is elevated to a performance shared in real time and destined to be enjoyed, soliciting the capacities of body and spirit. But for the Italian producer, the desire to express a concept leads the dancefloor to become narrow and jagged, almost arid. In this album there is much more than a passion to be communicated: when she produces music, Simona wants to investigate worlds, on which the first to leverage are the fractals of her mind.
