Holy Cow
Cows are family members of a traditional Indian family. Milk yielding Cows are seen just as a Mother in a family as their milk is fed even to new born babies. Indian families worship them and annually one day, there is a grand festival for them. Cows in India are just Holy Cows !
It is not just the Milk, even its derivatives like Curd (Yogurt), ButterMilk, Lassi, Paneer and other Milk solids are highly nutritious. Curd and Butter Milk consumed as Probiotics are nutritious and keeps us in very good health. They keep our Gut Bacteria very Happy and Happy Gut Bacteria keeps us very Healthy.
There is never a day on Simhachalam Hill top that I hadn't seen ButterMilk being Sold. I had been observing this since my Childhood, may be since last 45+ years. Simhachalam Lord Varaha Laxmi Narasimha Swamy is a very Old temple on the hill-top and the old age tradition of selling Butter Milk is still prevalent. In good old days, people from every nook and corner, far away places use to visit the temple by foot and Bullock carts. There were no Sweetened Carbonated beverages then and to quench their thirst, they use to just drink Butter-Milk. Butter-Milk here isn't just quenching thirst but was keeping the devotees, travellers healthy by re-energizing their Gut Bateria and making them Happy.
Tumblr media
I had been to the Simhachalam temple recently, tried dressing in a traditional way and made sure to drink a glass of Butter-Milk at the exit of the temple. A glass of healthy Butter Milk just costs ₹10. Many devotees visit the temple on fasting and they don't drink even a glass of water and right after the Lord's darshan might be drinking this Butter-Milk.

N Chandrababu Naidu's Visionary Leadership: Transforming Andhra Pradesh into a Premier Tourist Destination
Tumblr media
The tourism industry holds a pivotal position in any nation's economy, and the state of Andhra Pradesh is no exception. Under the astute leadership of N Chandrababu Naidu and the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Andhra Pradesh has embarked on a remarkable journey to attract tourists from across India and the world. These initiatives are designed to showcase the state's rich culture, history, and natural beauty, positioning Andhra Pradesh as an alluring tourist destination.
A cornerstone of N Chandrababu Naidu's vision for tourism development in Andhra Pradesh has been the enhancement of the state's infrastructure. The TDP government has taken proactive measures to improve the state's road network, airports, and other transportation facilities. The development of the new international airport in Vijayawada and the expansion of existing airports in Visakhapatnam and Tirupati have been instrumental in boosting the state's connectivity. Furthermore, the construction of modern highways like the Krishnapatnam-Chennai Expressway and the Kakinada-Kurnool Highway has significantly eased travel to various tourist destinations, making exploration of the state more accessible and efficient. In addition to infrastructure, N Chandrababu Naidu and the dedicated TDP MLAs and MPs have prioritized the development of key tourist attractions across the state. Andhra Pradesh boasts a rich cultural heritage, and the TDP government has been committed to its promotion. A prime example is the Amaravati Heritage Town, a project aimed at establishing a world-class heritage site. This town will serve as a cultural treasure trove, showcasing the state's ancient Buddhist heritage, thereby attracting tourists from all corners of the globe. Similarly, the transformation of Bhavani Island in Vijayawada and the restoration of the Kondaveedu Fort in the Guntur district exemplify the government's dedication to promoting tourism through the preservation and enhancement of cultural landmarks. Examine the TDP party website for info on thelocal news and political news.
Religious tourism holds a special place in Andhra Pradesh, known for its myriad ancient temples and sacred shrines. The TDP government, led by N Chandrababu Naidu, has been proactive in promoting these sites as major tourist destinations. The development of the Ramayapatnam Port in the Nellore district and the construction of a new jetty at Bhavani Island will facilitate visits to the revered Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Temple in Vijayawada. The government has also transformed the Simhachalam Temple in Visakhapatnam into a world-class pilgrimage destination, drawing devotees from all corners of the country. Emphasizing the importance of eco-tourism, N Chandrababu Naidu has championed the cause of preserving Andhra Pradesh's natural wonders. The state boasts numerous national parks, sanctuaries, and wildlife reserves, and the TDP government has been proactive in developing these areas as sustainable tourist destinations while preserving their ecological balance. Contributions of TDP  such as the development of the Kambalakonda Wildlife Sanctuary in Visakhapatnam and the Coringa Wildlife Sanctuary in East Godavari district exemplify the state's commitment to eco-friendly tourism. To further catalyze tourism, N Chandrababu Naidu's government has launched a series of innovative TDP schemes and programs. The Swadesh Darshan scheme, initiated by the Ministry of Tourism, seeks to create theme-based tourist circuits across the country. Andhra Pradesh has been selected as one of the states to benefit from this scheme, with plans to develop circuits such as the Buddhist circuit, the beach circuit, and the heritage circuit. Concurrently, the state government has introduced the Mukhyamantri Yatra program, which offers free travel to senior citizens, enabling them to explore various tourist destinations within the state.
N Chandrababu Naidu's visionary leadership and the concerted efforts of the TDP party have catapulted Andhra Pradesh into a premier tourist destination. The comprehensive approach, encompassing infrastructure development, cultural preservation, religious tourism promotion, eco-tourism initiatives, and innovative schemes, has unlocked the state's full potential as a tourism hotspot. As a result, Andhra Pradesh stands ready to welcome visitors from far and wide, offering a diverse tapestry of experiences that showcase its rich heritage, natural beauty, and warm hospitality. N Chandrababu Naidu's agenda in transforming Andhra Pradesh into a top-notch tourist destination will undoubtedly endure, leaving an indelible mark on the state's future growth and prosperity.

[ad_1] Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) [India], November 23 (ANI): Ahead of India's opening clash against Australia in the first game of the five-match T20I series, Washington Sundar and Tilak Verma visited and offered prayers at Simhachalam Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Visakhapatnam on Thursday. HT Image After losing the ODI World Cup final against Australia last Sunday, the Men in Blue will face the Baggy Greens in the T20 format. Ahead of the opening game, Tilak and Washington visited the temple and also took part in a special ritual during the time that they spent there. Suryakumar Yadav will be leading the Men in Blue in the absence of Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya. Ahead of the game he spoke on the significance of the series in light of the upcoming T20 World Cup in the West Indies and USA. "I think what I told them when I met them in the afternoon was let's be very selfless when we go onto the field. I am a guy who doesn't think much of personal milestones ahead of team goals. Hence, I told them to keep the team's interests first and then whatever comes after that, they can take their call. I have played with them a lot of times during the IPL and a few India games and they know how I function, and it wasn't that difficult to communicate my thoughts. We are excited about the series," Suryakumar said ahead of the first T20I against Australia, here on Wednesday. "I think keeping the T20 World Cup in mind, the games we play till then are very important. My message to them was very clear: just be fearless and do whatever it takes to help the team. They have been doing all this in the IPL and have played a lot of domestic cricket recently. They are in good form as I have heard from our support staff. I told them only one thing - enjoy your time in the middle, do the same things and don't try to do something different," he added. This series will also mark the return of Axar Patel for the first time since the Asia Cup. He was initially named in the World Cup squad but failed to recover in time.
