Q. Why does Viz Media bother to file copyright claims over anime they didn’t dub themselves nor create? Everyone in the know knows that fansubs and fandubs keep the fandom alive and kicking after decades.
A. Like I said here https://generaltsotters.tumblr.com/post/185292766752/q-have-you-ever-lied-or-stolen-anything-you, if you knew about the MIEC’s trafficking ops, then you’d NGAF. Two way streets.
Anyways... this is my post for Day #1 of fysportsanime’s Challenge Week.
Even though technically, it was Speed Racer back in the early 80s that was my first sports anime, Super Campeones (a.k.a. Captain Tsubasa) was the first sports anime that I was really into a lot. I found it on a South Florida TV station while channel surfing back in the early 90s and I’d religiously tune in whenever I could early in the AM, including tuning in on mini portable TV on the short road trip to school and my lil-est brother was also there to see, so it was fun times. I was in my 2nd year (of five total) of Spanish I think, so yeah, it was fun times to learn the language as the drama unfolded. All of my brothers were on the school soccer team (I’m the only gal in the middle with four brothers), so that’s part of my interest in it, but like many otaku, I’m not super sporty or actually into the sport at all. Betcha five cents that a non sporty anime fan who has never seen this anime will become a new fan with this flashback ep (#126):
Let’s go back to last week and remember this delicious bowl of Nissin Raoh made in minutes and also solving The Wayne Investigation game on Alexa in minutes. Yay me! :D
Unrelated side note: I’m listening to Good Omens streaming on Alexa and finally getting into it after giving it a second chance. And on that note, a related side note: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4gGasjWuJlM&list=PLYjAy326Dyj6f9bsKIQ7ivivndXYgZbnP&index=13
Haven’t had Milo’s Sweet Tea since finding a bottle of the stuff at a Georgia gas station in 2003 on the road trip back to Florida from California, so I got some to go with my salty sizzling sirloin this af.
Also got some microwave popcorn and currently, that crappy live action Battle Angel movie is playing behind me because biggest bro and sis-in-law are chillaxin.
Yesterday at work, an Alan Alda sound-alike asked if I was Native American and I said no and referenced Russell Means on how anyone born here actually is one, so I guess that means maybe it’ll be all right to update the martini glass for my tribe’s lechon kawaii to include a floating Hot Cheeto, ne?
Good afternoon! :D Comparing June 15th’s RMF (Resting Molina Face) with July 3rd’s for quality control. Default Mode: Those Wild Natives! =^_^=
Also, retroactively LARPing as a genki hybrid of Daisuke Jigen and Goemon Ishikawa XIII as a radish in Bumblyburg isn’t as spicy as it sounds, even with a visor hiding part of your face and quick slicing motions with a serrated knife across a “freshly made bread roll”.
