#Sigh.. we'll just have to wait and see how they tackle it through the rest of the upcoming three eps and how it will mainly transpire more

the state cognitive dissonance happening here after this god forsaken episode is just... wow its bad sjjsjs like how did they think they could get away with that without butchering the narrative on the way (they better have this salvaged in the rest of this arc).. like the way the lone star writers are getting comfortable after literally getting away with saying that TK was one year sober in 3x12 despite celebrating his one year of sobriety in 2x08

Ask ship game: Caitlyn and vi, 22!! :D
God, I can't wait to have Caitvi back in November. Even though I know Arcane is going to wreck us all emotionally.
22... in a rush of adrenaline.
Vi wasn't one to stay idle for too long. When Caitlyn said she was putting a taskforce together to head into Zaun, it was the most logical thing for Vi to join them. She knew the Lanes better than any Piltie, and she didn't trust anyone but herself to bring Jinx in... alive. But running simulations and obstacle courses in preparation got old really quickly. Vi didn't see the point in beating the shit out of training dummies and robots. In the Undercity, things were truly unpredictable. Nothing made sense. You had to improvise in ways that weren't calculable. "It's so we can better learn how to operate as a team," Caitlyn explained, not for the first time. "If we can anticipate each other's needs, learn strength's and weaknesses, we'll be a more solid, effective unit." "Yeah, Cupcake, I get it," Vi sighed and rolled her shoulder, the old injury flaring up again under the weight of the gauntlets. "I just don't like wasting time getting nothing done when there's still Shimmer in the streets and we have no idea what Pow... what Jinx has planned next." She felt Caitlyn's hand on her arm, and she looked up to see those bright blue Kiramman eyes staring at her reassuringly. "I don't like spinning our wheels, either. Listen, if the team can make it through the next simulation completely unscathed, I think we will be clear to move forward with preparations." Vi smirked. "I'm pretty sure I can handle whatever Jayce throws at us. You gonna watch my back, Cupcake?" Not for the first time, she saw Caitlyn's gaze flick down to her ass. Deliberately. "Don't I always?" ---- Jayce definitely threw everything but the kitchen sink at them. Vi was out front, as she always was. Caitlyn was on overwatch. Their other team members spread out, two flanking Vi and several back in stealthier positions. Cait was in top form, calling out threats seemingly before they materialized. They were nearing the end of the simulation by Vi's estimation when some kind of automaton monstrosity burst through the wall, prepared to bring it's bladed arm down on Vi's head. Within a fraction of a second, a shot rang out, and the blade was completely shattered. Vi grinned as the thing roared in anguish and frustration before charging up the gauntlet to full force and uppercutting it several meters off the floor. The room went dark and the sounds of everything shutting down and resetting whined around them. Just as Vi was throwing her hands up in celebration, she was tackled by a blur of long limbs and blue hair. And lips. Caitlyn was kissing her. It took her brain way too long to register that miraculous fact and before she could even reciprocate, Caitlyn was pulling away, eyes wide at her own actions. "Sorry, I... got caught up in the moment," Cait said bashfully. The rest of the team was looking on in amusement, knowing glints in their eyes. Well, the mission was certainly turning out to be more complicated by the day. Though, as Vi chanced a look back in Cait's direction, she couldn't say she really minded the newest development that much.

Additions [Klaus x Reader]
Tumblr media
Requested by Anonymous 👶
Note: Damien is six, Yvonne is three.
"But Papa!" "Please?" "We'll be good, we promise!"
As much as Klaus wanted to allow his children to accompany him to the hospital, it was far too dangerous at the moment. You had come down with a slight cold which made everything much more difficult after the exhaustion of childbirth. And Klaus didn't want to risk Damien and Yvonne's health like this. Mabel was in good hands with Dr. Estevez in the meantime, especially after a few tests to ensure that your breast milk was safe to be consumed.
Looking down at massive puppy eyes while the little ones begged to go with, teeny fangs bared in the most innocent way possible; Klaus felt his heart strings tug a bit.
"My apologies Shatzchen, but Mama is very tired and needs to rest." Klaus knelt down to comfort them, "When she's feeling well you can come along, I promise."
Holding out both his hands with pinkies extended, Klaus carefully wrapped his smallest finger with his babies. Locking in the simplest of promises, something he was planning on doing anyway as soon as you were feeling better. Preferably the day you were to come back home.
Thankfully, his mother turned the corner; having entered the house from the garage on the side of the house. Both of his parents had been a massive help with the children as they loved their Baba and Grand Papa, as they constantly said. Your best friend had also been around quite often, attempting to help cook but really just prepping lunches for when the children went to school.
"Baba!" Yvonne was the first to break away, gently tackling the older woman with a hug, "Guten Morgen!"
"Guten Morgen mein Shatzi!" Klaus somewhat envied how his mother didn't have to lean over as far to hug a three-year-old, "How is everything?"
Damien had also bounced up to Baba, happily chatting about their morning and what the two of them wanted to do today. While Klaus knew his mother had plans, much like himself; she would take their wishes into account. Though his father walked in slightly after, telling Gilbert things he would need for the day trip Klaus's parents were planning for the children. Their attempts to ease the burdens and keep young Damien and Yvonne from feeling left out because of the new baby.
"Klaus, Wie geht es [Name]?" His father turned to him, "Gibt es eine wesentliche Änderung?"
Slowly shaking his head, "She has been slowly recovering, thankfully, but nothing drastic one way or the other."
A soft groan as he nodded solemnly, Klaus could tell his father was trying to think up something that might help. Though both of them knew there was little they could do outside of letting you rest and heal in the hospital.
But Klaus couldn't keep standing in the foyer, he wanted to check on his beloved and newborn child. Stepping out to see Phillip awaiting him with the car running, Klaus tried to ease his nerves. He knew he shouldn't be this worried post-pregnancy, especially when he wasn't the one to go through the pain of childbirth.
And yet, knowing his beloved wasn't perfectly healthy made him worry. Knowing he had to wait longer than normal to bring his newborn home made him worry.
Attempting to calm his nerves, Klaus sniffed at the small bouquet he'd trimmed from his garden. He was doing everything he could, you were getting better, it was merely a cold brought on from a weakened immune system. This was all perfectly normal, just unfortunate.
Not that you could tell upon first impressions. The soft smile Klaus entered the room with fooled you for a few minutes, but you could tell that bringing it up wouldn't help anyone. Going round and round about Klaus's worries only lead to a quiet room.
Though seeing you up and smiling, holding Mabel to feed her helped Klaus relax, genuinely relax as he placed the flowers in the small vase on your nightstand. Settling down in a chair next to you, carefully brushing your hair behind your ear.
"Morning honey." You sighed, "How did Damien and Yvonne take being told 'no' today?"
"The same as always Liebling." Klaus chuckled softly, "Though I promised to bring them once you were feeling better."
Nodding a little, "I'm not contagious Lieber. It's perfectly safe to bring them in to see Mabel."
Very gently resting his head against your shoulder, Klaus was defeated. He knew you were right about this, even if he would continue to be stubborn about bringing Damien and Yvonne to visit. Though his mother would likely have a few things to say about this if she found out.
He very carefully brushed a large thumb against the back of Mabel's head, earning a soft coo as she let go, little happy babbling noises as Mabel realized her Papa was nearby. It was too adorable; Klaus visibly melted while Mabel made noises at him.
This couldn't be anymore picturesque if it were a Thomas Kinkade painting.
Most days felt like this. But as you recovered, Klaus attempted to teach Damien and Yvonne to hold a tiny baby. With both his mother and your best friend trying to make it as easy as possible; Damien was able to walk slowly without troubles but Yvonne had to sit down. She was just too little to be carrying Mabel, it just wasn't safe at the moment.
But the time was slipping fast and Klaus found himself buckling the children into car seats, having to explain the massive car seat was for their baby sister. Things were starting to fully click into place, especially for Yvonne. Damien had already been through this when they brought home Yvonne so he was a bit calmer.
"I really miss Mama." Yvonne said, "I hope she's okay."
"I assure your Shatzi, Mama is perfectly fine." Klaus turned, smiling a little at her, "She's feeling much better and will be coming back home with us today."
Being stared at with such large, sparkly eyes as Yvonne gasped, "Really!?"
Nodding happily, Klaus was just as relieved at the situation, "Both she and your new little sister Mabel will be coming home today. It may take a little time to get used to how things will go day to day, but Baba, Grand Papa, and Mx. [Best Friend] will be around to assist. As well as Mr. Gilbert and Mr. Phillip, okay?"
The sweet, eager, enthusiastic nodding was too precious. Damien was a little more reserved about it, but he was just as excited to have a second baby sister; even if he would prefer a little brother.
Either way, you were bombarded with tight little hugs from Damien and Yvonne. They had missed you, clear as day. Both of them peering in on Mabel while in her car seat the entire ride home, all the while Mabel tried to grab at whatever she could.
Gently pulling Yvonne away at the last second, "Careful sweetie, Mabel's little nails are sharp. She doesn't mean to scratch you, but it will happen."
"Okay Mama."
Yvonne went right back to leaning in a little too close, barely dodging her teeny fingers each time. Damien had caught one chubby fist, Mabel holding her big brother's fingers; leading Yvonne to doing the same. Between you, Klaus, and Damien, Yvonne was being told a lot of little tips of how to interact with baby Mabel.
It was so sweet to see. You knew there would be no end to the pictures, videos, or your Mother-in-Law's cooing over how adorable the children are being. Especially as you watched Damien carrying baby Mabel very slowly, very carefully across the living room, or Yvonne sitting as still as she could while holding Mabel.
It was something you weren't entirely expecting... even if Klaus had attempted to teach Damien when Yvonne was born. But your little family was growing fast, as were your photo albums...

Part 1 Part2 Part3 Part5 Part6 Part7 Part8 Part9 Part10 Part11 Part12 The end
Tumblr media
You ran around the Ramen Warren and packed a few things up. You smiled at Shin and Luna, but they seemed a bit worried. "I will be fine. Levi is coming with me."
Shin sighed. "I understand that it's good for us, but let us help."
You nibbled your lip. "But you said you were worried about working for Kiyoshi."
"You need us. Levi is security and we'll cook and serve."
"Are you sure?"
He smiled and petted your head. "Yes."
Luna pouted a little. "Why can't I help?"
Shin pinched her cheek. "I can't protect you both and cook. It's best if you stay behind."
You smiled. "I asked Levi to bring Mike with him. Mike will look after you, Luna, and take you home." You giggled a little. "Ask him on a date, okay? He's very interested in you. I think you're mates and I know you can Dom him."
Luna clapped her hands. "Yes. I really do like him. He's handsome and sweet."
"Who is?" Mike walked closer and smiled at Luna. "You look cute today."
Levi ran over to you and tackled you into a hug. "Bunny." He nuzzled your neck as his tail wagged. He inhaled deeply and moaned at your natural scent. "Mine."
You hummed a little laugh. "Hi, Levi."
He pulled back and nuzzled his nose against yours. "I missed you. Did you miss me?"
"Of course."
"Good."
You leaned closer and kissed your mate. You knew Levi didn't do public displays of affection, but sometimes his wolf instincts took over and his need and desire to be wanted and loved by you came out. You liked all sides of Levi, so when he got all cute wolf on you it made you happy.
He looked you over in your cute cooking things. "You're wearing this to the charity event?"
You nodded and started to be self-conscious. "Is it okay?" You blushed a little as he gazed at your ears tied together and kept back like they were in a ponytail. "Levi?"
He tilted his head a little. "How come your ears are like that?" He looked behind to see you were hiding your tail. "What's going on?" He looked over at Shin to see he'd tied a bandana on and his ears were hidden. "You're both hiding."
Shin hummed. "Rabbits are made fun of. So, we're hiding a little. We want people to enjoy our food, so to do that we have to hide."
Levi looked over at you to see you looked sad and ashamed. "Is this true?"
You nodded. "Yes. We are hiding who we are so we can sell food to make money for us and the charity."
Levi cupped your face. "You are wonderful and beautiful just the way you are. You should never hide that. Fuck those snobby rich people. I believe in you and the man who hired you does as well. Be you. I'll be there to look after you both. When they know the alpha supports you, you'll be okay."
Shin hummed in thought. He took his bandana off and turned it into a headband. "Let's be us, boss."
You nodded and undid your ears making them spring up. You pushed your tail through the opening on your shorts and wiggled it. "Alright, let's be us."
Shin grabbed most of the containers. “I’ll put them in your car, Levi.”
Levi nodded. “Sure, I’ll grab the others.” He stopped a moment when he saw you carrying the rest. “Ah, wait bunny!”
You plopped the things in the car and smiled. “What’s up?”
“They’re heavy.” He blushed when Shin chuckled at him. “Why are you laughing? I don’t understand.”
Shin smiled. “I can tell you’ve not been around rabbits much. We’re naturally strong. We work out in the country so much, we’re natural-born farmers. We have strength, durability and a keen sense.”
Levi stared at you. “You never told me this.”
You smiled at him. “I guess I don’t spend much time with none rabbits. You’re the first that I’ve spent so much time with and ended up dating.” You giggled. “I can’t believe that. I’ve met someone outside my race and I’m courting them and might end up mating with them.”
“What else don’t I know about rabbits?”
Mike walked over with Luna. “Have you heard the term at it like rabbits?”
Levi frowned. “Yeah?”
“They say that for a reason, right Luna?”
She giggled, which surprised Mike as he intended to fluster her. “He’s right. There is truth behind the saying.”
Mike smirked. “Really?”
“We have a lot of stamina.”
Shin leaned on Levi’s car. “A lot.”
Luna hummed a laugh. “We’re a horny bunch.” She waved. “Have a fun night!”
Levi started at you. “So umm…”
You got into his car in the front as you blushed a little because Levi now knew about how you really were. You smiled as Levi got in and waited for Shin. You pressed your lips together and hummed in thought. “So, you look really good in your suit.”
Levi blushed. “I thought you were my date at the event, but uh…I didn’t realise you’d be cooking all night.”
“I was expecting we were.” You sighed. “We might not be, but who knows? We’ll find out when we’re there. If we’re supposed to take part in the fun, then I need a better outfit and so does Shin.”
Levi gripped the wheel. “I’m sure they’ll have a nice dress for you.”
You clapped your hands together. “I’m so excited. I can’t wait to go to this event. I’ve never been to something like this before.”
“You’re right, it’s very different from what you’ve seen before.”
You looked out at the event hall. “Wow. Look at this!”
Shin hummed. “Nice.”
You got out and took it in. “Amazing.”
Shin opened the boot of the car. “Let’s get cooking.”
Levi grabbed a few things. “Let me help.”
You smiled and picked up a few things. “Sure.” You led him into the event and looked around at people setting the place up. You moved to the kitchen and started cooking. “Levi? Could you talk to Kiyoshi about us being here?”
Levi nodded. “Sure. I’ll be right back.”
You cleaned up and started making the little ramen soup dumplings. You ignored the whispers and laughs about you and Shin being rabbits. You were just proud of what you and Shin made and hoped the people liked it too. You kept your head down and just worked hard.
“Bunny?” Levi blushed when you looked up at him with a smile. “Hey, so Kiyoshi wants to talk to you and Shin.”
You cleaned your hands. “Sure. Shin?”
Shin hummed and walked out of the kitchen with you. “What’s going on?”
Kiyoshi bowed. “Lovely to meet you, Shin. I came to talk to you both. It is my fault for not telling you. I wish for you both to be guests at my event. I have servers to give out all the food.”
“I don’t have a suit.”
You blushed. “I don’t have a dress.”
Kiyoshi smiled with pride. “I have something for you both! I have a spare dress and a suit. It will fit you guys.”
Shin hummed. “Good, I need a nice dress.”
You snorted a laugh. “He’s kidding, though he’d look nice in one. Thank you for getting us something.”
Kiyoshi winked at you. “You’re welcome. I’ll take you to the changing area.”
You held Levi’s hand. “Levi? Could you help me?”
“Sure.” He walked with all of you to the lift and took you to his office. “I have a bathroom for the young lady to change in.” He picked up a long white evening dress that would show off your figure. “I think this would be nice for you.”
Levi narrowed his eyes at it. “Do you have a different colour?”
“I have black. Is white and issue?”
You grabbed the black dress and hugged it close. “Thank you.” You ran to the bathroom with Levi and locked it. “So…”
Levi leaned against the door. “I didn’t want you to wear white because I have a recent worry about the colour.”
“That’s alright.” You pulled off your clothes so you were just in your nice underwear. “Sorry about wanting to change with you, but you make me feel safe.”
Levi growled a little as he took you in. He’d always seen you covered up, but here you were in all your glory and you were stunning. You had the thighs, the curves, the breasts and everything he wanted to bite. “That’s okay.”
You hummed a laugh. “Do I look that yummy to you?”
He nodded. “Yes.”
You stepped into the dress and dragged it up your body. “I’m glad because I want to be desired by my mate.” You huffed a little. “Levi? Could you help with my tail?”
He walked up to you and tugged your tail a little and pulled it through the opening. “Done.” He sniffed the air. “Mm.” He knelt and nuzzled your tail and inhaled the scent. “Fuck, you smell so good.”
You giggled and wiggled your tail in his face. “Thank you.” You squeaked when he bit you on the bum. “Oi! I need to change.”
He stood up and dragged the zip up your back. “So, about this whole horny bunny thing…” He gulped hard when you turned to show off how the dress pressed your breasts down and gave you impressive cleavage. “Boobs.”
You wiggled a little. “It’s a very tight dress.”
“I can see that.”
You held his chin and lifted his head. “Eyes up here.”
He blushed. “Sorry, it’s just you are always covered up. It’s different seeing you in your underwear and now in something revealing.” He rubbed the back of his neck. “I like these different sides of you.”
You cupped his face and kissed him. “I’m glad you fell for me, not like this or naked. You fell for me in my messy cooking clothes.”
Levi wrapped his arms around you and kissed you. “I adore you. You’re perfect for me. You’re my mate, my life, my soul, my everything.”
You giggled as you put your arms around his neck. You kissed him and moaned in happiness. “You’re mine.”
Levi lifted you up as you both kissed over and over. He sat you on the sink as he pushed his fingers into your hair. He panted a little before pushing his tongue into your mouth. He growled into the kiss when you clung to him. He pushed your dress up and realised you had two slits. He shifted it over your thigh and pressed his pelvis against yours. He inhaled and could smell your arousal. He wanted to devour you right then and there.
You pulled from Levi’s lips as he nipped and sucked at the crook of your neck. “Levi, hang on.”
He stopped and panted. “Of course.”
You blushed a little. “Have you had your implant?”
He blushed hard. “My appointment to have it done is in two days.”
You fixed your dress and closed your legs. “I would like to continue this, I really would but my body…” You welled up. “I’m sorry about my body.”
He cupped your face and hushed you. “Don’t ever say sorry for who you are, okay? I love you for you. You’re amazing to me.” He covered your face in kisses. “My rut is soon, so I’m getting a little too eager. Plus, you smell so good.”
You giggled. “I understand. Know that I would really like to be ravaged against this mirror and sink by you.” You panted and hummed as you nibbled your lip. “What they say about rabbits is right, but there’s a little extra to it. We are very horny beings,” you ran your hand up his chest as he growled at you “but only with those, we care about deeply. We don’t sleep around.” You yanked his close by his tie. “We like to go wild with our mates.”
Levi’s ears perked up. “I like going wild.”
“I bet you do.”
His tail wagged fast. “You’re getting me all flustered and happy.”
You giggled. “You’re cute. Could you help me off here?”
He lifted you off the counter and put you on your feet. “You need nice shoes.”
You huffed. “I don’t want to wear heels.” You opened the bathroom door and smiled at Shin grumbling about being in a suit. “You look great Shin.”
Shin whined. “I hate suits.” He looked over at you. “Holy shit.”
You blushed a little. “It’s not what I normally wear. It’s a bit tight as well.” You looked over at Kiyoshi as he blushed. “Do you have heels for me?”
Kiyoshi nodded. “A-Ah, yes, I do.” He searched his collection. “I have a few sizes.”
You walked over and picked up a nice small heel and popped them on. “Thank you.” You pulled your dress open and smiled at Levi. “What do you think Levi?”
Levi growled at you. “Perfect, sexy and cute.”
You giggled and posed for Levi. You turned a little and wiggled your tail. “Yeah?”
He tackled you and nibbled your neck making you giggle. “Good enough to eat.”
You hummed a laugh. “Thank you. So, we’re going to have a bit of fun as a trio and then head home. I do hope you like what we cooked.”
Kiyoshi bowed. “I will visit you and join you for a drink.”
You opened your arms to Shin. “Come handsome, let’s go drink.”
Shin walked over and hugged you with one arm. “I’m thirsty.”
You stumbled and walked with Levi and Shin into the lift. You waved at Kiyoshi. “We’ll come up and grab our clothes when we’re heading home.”
Kiyoshi winked at you. “Your things will be safe here.”
Levi hugged you against him and hummed in happiness. “Pretty bunny.”
Shin chuckled. “She is rather pretty.”
Levi moved away from Shin with you and growled. “Mine.”
Shin held his hands up. “Not interested in my boss. We had little feelings in the beginning, but not anymore. I have my eyes on someone.”
“You do?”
You giggled. “He likes Hange.”
Levi’s brow raised. “She’s interested in you. Good luck with that.”
“I think it’s a perfect fit.”
“I guess.” He let out a long sigh. “You just have to know how to stand up to her and tame her.”
Shin hummed. “Easy.”
You giggled and slipped out of the lift. “Shin can do anything.” You held Levi’s hands and pulled him close. “Let’s get drinks and have a bit of fun.”
Levi blushed a bit as he stumbled after you. “Tch, yeah.”
He walked with you and heard people whispering and laughing at you and Shin. He snarled at the cat, fox and dragon people mocking you. He didn’t see any wolf people, but he wasn’t surprised really because his kind didn’t care much for this sort of thing like the rabbit people. Events like this were a chance for people to show off how much money they had, how rich they were and feel like they were important by giving money away. He saw that the leaders of all races were attending as well. The only person he didn’t see was Joseph, probably because he was doing actual charity work.
“Look at you, little rabbit!” Mason grinned at you and took your hand before kissing it. “I have to come to your little Ramen Warren again. I am still very sorry about how my friend was.”
You smiled a little. “All forgiven. You have no control over how others act. You reacted and that’s all that matters. We did cook something tonight actually.”
“I will eat all that’s to offer.” He walked closer and moved around you as his tail curled around you a bit. “You look delicious tonight.”
You hummed and pulled his tail off you. “Thanks, but could you not touch me with your tail?”
He flicked the bottom of your chin with his tail. “There a problem?”
Levi grabbed Mason’s tail and squeezed hard making Mason hiss and yelp. “Yes, there is a problem. You’re touching my mate without her permission and inappropriately.”
Mason winced. “I didn’t know she hate a mate.”
You held Levi’s arm. “Let him go.”
Levi did as you asked. “Anything for you.”
Mason took his tail into his hands and whined. “My poor tail. I didn’t know you were taken.”
You tapped the crook of your neck. “Bonding mark.”
“Oh, you have the temporary one. You going to make a bigger one on the full moon and make it official?”
Levi blushed. “I would like to.”
You grinned. “I have plans.” You gripped Levi’s hips and squeezed. “I have plans for you.”
“Oh…” He felt a twinge of excitement inside him. “I can’t wait.”
You bounced up and down. “Can we get a drink? I need a drink!”
Shin sighed. “I’ll take you both to the bar. I’m bored of all this rich stuff already.”
Levi put his arm around you and walked with you and Shin to the bar. He noticed Ivan was eyeing you up with a sparkle in his eye. Levi held you closer to him and didn’t like the way people were looking at you. Levi had a bit of fear in him now that he knew about the old religion. The fact that you are a rare rabbit, was also a big scare.
Levi jumped at you kissing him. “Sorry bunny.”
You handed him his drink. “You look like you have something on your mind.”
“It’s nothing you need to worry about.”
You frowned. “Are you sure?”
He nodded. “I don’t want you to worry too much, okay? I just have a case right now going on and it concerns me.” He let out a long sigh. “I just want to keep you safe.”
“I am safe.”
He downed his drink and put it on the bar. “Just, don’t go places you shouldn’t, okay? Stay with Shin at work and when you’re at home, keep the place locked up.”
You nodded. “I will, but I have a different idea.”
He frowned a little. “What?”
You played with his lapels and tie. “I could stay with you.” You leaned closer with your lips almost touching his. “This lonely little bunny needs a big bad wolf to look after her.”
Levi growled at you. “I can do that.”
You hummed a laugh. “Thank you.”
He kissed you and sighed through his nose in happiness. “I adore you.”
You blushed. “I adore you too.”
Levi looked around to make sure no one was looking before he kissed you. “Can we leave? I want to take you home to my place.”
You nibbled your lip. “I’ll ask Shin if he’s ready.”
Shin downed his drink. “I want to leave, now. I’m sick of the stares.”
You kissed Levi. “I’ll go up and get changed, then I’ll come back down.”
Levi hummed. “I’m not sure about that.”
“Shin will be with me.”
Shin petted your head. “I’ll look after her.”
Levi nodded. “Okay, okay. I’ll wait here.” He kissed you on the cheek and waited for you. He felt someone get closer, so he dragged his eyes from the lift to look at Ivan. “Tch, what?”
Ivan smirked as he put his hands in his pockets. “I just wanted to come talk to you about your little bunny.”
“Touch her and I rip your ears off.”
Ivan hummed a laugh. “Come now, aren’t you being a bit nasty? Rabbits are whores.”
Levi slammed his fist into Ivan’s gut making him double over. He leaned closer and whispered. “I mean it, Ivan. Touch her and I’ll fucking break you. I know I’m the law in this city, but I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty to protect my mate. She is a fierce rabbit, but I will fight.”
Ivan stood up and grunted. “I will break you. No one touches me! You don’t know what I can do. That white rabbit is a rare bitch and you know it.” He shoved Levi. “You don’t know her real potential.”
“Ivan.” Kiyoshi pulled the fox leader back. “Not appropriate to come for a wolf’s mate. Run along and drink yourself silly.” He waited for Ivan to walk off. “He is right.” He turned to Levi. “Your rabbit you have in a trial run mating is very rare. Now people are aware of her, you’ll have to keep her close. She’s sweet as well and has a nice scent.” He sighed. “And my word does she have a presence about her when she dresses up. She’s like an Empress or Queen.”
Levi blushed as he thought about you in the dress. “You’re right. I am worried about her. Surely people have their eyes on Shin too.”
“You’re right in your observation. Shin has a rare mix of white and black. Many people have noticed him as well. The white and black rabbits are rare and we have a woman who is the white rabbit and a man who is a mix of both.”
“Right.”
Kiyoshi smiled at Levi. “You’re a good alpha, really good. You’ve fixed this city and you will keep making it better. You should be proud.”
Levi sighed. “The work never ends. There’s always something to be done.”
“You work hard and you should be proud of that.”
“Maybe.”
Kiyoshi smiled. “I know how you feel. You are unsure if you’re doing your best. You are trying hard and that’s all people could ask for.”
Levi rubbed the back of his neck. “Yeah…”
“Maybe you need a break or a holiday.”
“I’ll think about it.” He looked over to the lift to see you and Shin. He felt his worry seep in about protecting you and Shin. However, as soon as you locked eyes with him he felt better. “Bunny.”
You saw something wasn’t right with Levi. You walked over to him and held his hand. “We should go home.”
Levi nodded. “Yeah.”
You smiled at Kiyoshi. “I hope our food was good.”
Kiyoshi bowed. “It was delicious. You blew me away. You are both very talented and I want to invite you both again to cook something.”
“I’d like that.”
Shin hummed. “Sure.” He sighed. “Let’s go. I’m tired.”
You waved to Kiyoshi as you walked with Levi out of the hall. You got into Levi’s car and kept looking over at him. You knew something wasn’t right, you could just feel it. You hummed in thought and tried to figure out what you could do to make him feel better. You said goodbye to Shin when Levi dropped him off. You relaxed when Levi drove to his place. You didn’t feel sexual tension in the air because it was clear something was on Levi’s mind.
You walked with Levi to the lift to his place. You wondered what kind of place a wolf lived in. You didn’t expect the woods, but maybe something stereotypical wolf. You were only a little bit surprised at Levi’s place when you saw it. It was a wonderfully clean and big penthouse apartment. You adored the large number of windows so the moon could filter through. You slipped your shoes off and put your apron on the side. You turned to Levi and smiled softly at him and saw he was in his head.
You skipped to a door and opened it to reveal a large bedroom with the most windows. You pulled your clothes off and folded them before raiding Levi’s wardrobe and putting on a shirt of his. You returned to Levi as he made a drink in his kitchen. “Levi?”
Levi looked over at you and blushed. “Hey, you look good. My shirt fits you well.”
You hurried over to him and tackled him into a hug. “Maybe you’re not ready to talk yet, so I will just hold you and love you.”
Levi blushed. “Love?”
You clung to him. “Yes.”
He nuzzled the crook of your neck and inhaled. “I love you so much. You’re my mate and I just want to live in your arms.”
You cupped the back of his head and let him inhale your scent. “How about we go to bed and cuddle?”
Levi picked you up and carried you over to the bed. He lay you in his massive bed and slipped under the covers with you. He pulled you close and sighed. “Sorry, I’m all up in my head right now.”
“That’s okay. You need to rest and need time to think.”
“I want to talk and I will.” He leaned up and kissed you. “Thank you. I think I’ll have a good night’s sleep and in the morning I’ll talk.”
You smiled softly. “I think that’s a wonderful idea. I need to let you go a moment.”
Levi pouted as you pulled away. “Why?”
You wiggled and hummed. “Hang on…” You whipped your bra out from under the shirt. “Ah! Better!” You threw it to the floor and cuddled Levi again. “Can’t sleep in one. I also need to let you know that I don’t think your trousers fit me.”
He hummed. “I’ll find something for you tomorrow.”
“Thank you.”
He sighed. “I have plenty of clothes. For now, we sleep. Well done for today.”
You closed your eyes and drifted off slowly. “Thank you.”

teenage dirtbag [one] // wanda maximoff
summary: when you're paired with the most popular girl in your grade for Chemistry class, you definitely don't expect to start liking her like that...
warning/s: none i don't think??
author's note: okay so i have a ton of requests to work through but i got sidetracked and before i knew it, five parts of this imagine were written.
It's based off the song 'Teenage Dirtbag' and idk, i thought it was cute to write! Who doesn't love the popular girl!wanda and loner!reader concept?
Here’s a cover of the song to listen to because i really liked it and a girl sings it so it immediately made the song 10x more gay, just how i like it 🥰
masterlist | wattpad | part two | part three | part four | part five
Tumblr media
"Are you all comfortable?"
The class stayed silent, watching our Chemistry teacher, Mr. Hale, as he looked to everyone with a raised brow.
"You all like who you're sat with?" he asked again, as if expecting an actual response from someone.
I exchanged questioning glances with my best friend, Y/BF/N, who was sat beside me. It was the first day back in Chemistry class of our final year of high school and we were just waiting to begin.
"Anyone?" he asked, looking around.
"Yeah," a few students mumbled in response so we could move on.
He clapped his hands together. "Great! Well, don't get too comfortable because I made a seating chart."
A chorus of groans erupted from the class, including from me and Y/BF/N. Every other class had successfully managed to not give us a seating chart. I'd heard that Mr. Hale was an awkward teacher who hated students (ironically), but I didn't think he'd stoop so low as to pair us with students who weren't our friends. These new seats were also our partners for the rest of the year and were non-negotiable, so any projects or work we did would have to be with our seat buddy. Fun.
Students began to shuffle to their newly-assigned seats reluctantly as Mr. Hale read out the chart. When Y/BF/N left my side, I frowned dramatically, waving goodbye to him.
"Wanda Maximoff, you're now partners with Y/N Y/L/N," said Mr. Hale, making me look up at the mention of my name.
I didn't get chance to register what he'd said as the aforementioned girl soon approached me, settling her bag on the table beside me. I looked up and saw Wanda Maximoff smiling my way before taking a seat on the stool.
Huh. Wanda Maximoff. She was one of the most popular girls in our grade. Everybody loved her, either wanting to be friends with her, be with her or be her. I'd personally never crossed paths with her apart from the few classes we shared. She seemed nice enough, but I guess I had preconceived notions of what she was like since she'd made the very poor decision to date the most obnoxious guy ever. Anyone making decisions that terrible definitely had a flaw.
She had a twin brother, Pietro, who was also in our grade and played on the football team alongside her boyfriend. Her parents were good friends with mine, through mutual friends, I think, as I recalled my mum mentioning 'Mrs. Maximoff's boy' or 'Mrs. Maximoff's girl'. And I remembered when her family moved into our town back in second grade.
Admittedly, Wanda was the star of the show back then, too. We were only kids, but child Y/N wasn't blind. She was the first girl I'd crushed on, an innocent child crush – the crush that made me realise I liked girls. Apart from that, and the fact that she had a locker behind me in the hallway, I never really thought about her.
I glanced behind me, catching Y/BF/N's gaze across the room as he sat beside some other kid. He frowned, implying he wished we were partners, and I knew just how he felt.
Once Mr. Hale finished assigning seats, he gave us five minutes to get to know our new partners as he struggled to find the powerpoint for today's class. If there was anything worse than getting assigned seats, it was ice breakers.
"Er, well, hi," Wanda greeted, turning to face me. Green eyes sparkled brightly behind a friendly smile. "I'm Wanda. But, I mean, we already know each other."
"That we do," I said with a nod, returning her smile. "How're you doing? Your summer go well?"
She ran a hand through her hair, adjusting herself so she was comfortable on her stool. And as she did, a waft of her perfume washed over me and I blinked, trying to ignore how nice it smelled. Floral. Subtle. It suited her.
"Good, yeah," she answered with a nod. "Could have gone on longer for all I care."
I chuckled. "I feel that. I'm definitely not ready to be back."
"Right?" she said with raised brows. "It's gonna take a while to get back into routine, that's for sure. But I guess I did miss seeing my friends everyday."
I hummed in agreement, eyes flickering to Mr. Hale as he attempted to tackle the oncoming stream of animations on his powerpoint. I tried not to laugh as I looked back to Wanda, who clearly noticed the same thing as me and stifled a smile.
"Have you had Mr. Hale before?" I asked, nodding his way.
She shook her head. "Nope. You?"
"Never."
"Sucks that he makes seating charts," she said with a sigh, before realising what she said and looking to me with panicked eyes. "Not that I don't like you or anything–!"
"It's fine, I get it," I cut her off with an amused smile. "I wanted to sit with my friend, too."
She breathed out quietly, a hint of relief in her eyes, and scrunched her nose with an apologetic smile. Okay, yeah, maybe that was kind of cute. Older Y/N wasn't blind either. Wanda Maximoff was beautiful, with long brunette locks and matching hazel eyes that seemed to change from blue to green to brown in a kaleidoscope of colour. A winning smile and soothing voice was enough for anyone to fall for her unintentional charm, but it was purely admiration. Everyone pretty much had a mild crush on her, you'd be stupid not to.
"If we're gonna be working together, d'you wanna get the whole awkward number exchange out the way now?" she asked, half joking, half not.
"I– er– sure," I stumbled out rather carelessly, before cringing internally. Where did that come from?
Thankfully, she didn't seem to pick up on it (or just saved me the embarrassment of acknowledging it) and was already writing her number on a slip of paper. Sliding it my way, she capped her pen and gave me her signature smile.
"Thanks," I said with a nod, accepting the paper and pocketing it. "Can't wait to start those lovely science projects we've got coming up!"
She let out a quiet laugh at my sarcasm. "It'll be fine. You're not dumb, right? So, we'll be fine."
"Can't promise you that," I joked, making her roll her eyes playfully.
"Maybe if we–"
But she was cut off when Mr. Hale spoke up loudly, interrupting everyone's conversations.
"Five minutes are up, let's begin!"
I wondered if everyone was thinking the same thing as me – that was not five minutes.
"So it begins...," I mumbled to myself, facing forward.
Wanda breathed out, a stifled laugh, probably having heard my comment, and I couldn't help but crack a smile. Maybe I judged her too harshly. She wasn't actually that bad.
Since being paired with Wanda, I was surprised by how much she'd made an effort to befriend me outside of class. We'd always been back to back with our lockers though not quite speaking, but since becoming Chemistry partners, she'd wish me a good morning if she caught me, or greet me briefly as we collected our books.
She didn't have to, but I could see why everybody liked her now. She was just genuinely nice. Due to circumstance, we'd become partners, but rather than leaving it at that, she made a genuine effort to befriend me. And not even just me, but also Y/BF/N, who was at the locker next to mine. He was as surprised as I was, expecting Wanda to mind her own business as we weren't exactly in the same social circles.
This was, I guess you could say, the start of our friendship. And it was a good one at that. I grew to learn how funny she was, how much she loved her brother, the passion she had for art and painting... she was a wonderful person. Which is why I didn't understand why she was with her boyfriend, Nate. He was a grade-A dick and everything Wanda wasn't. How were they a thing?
It sounds like I'm being a bitch and judgemental, but he really is the worst. The few unfortunate times I shared a class with him or caught sight of him around school, he was causing some sort of trouble with the teachers or picking on students in a way that made it seem like a joke but everybody knew it wasn't.
For example, there was a time when Wanda and I were studying for an upcoming Chemistry test we had. We decided to just help each other study since we already worked together in class, so knew we could motivate each other to actually put in the work. It was, maybe, the fourth studying session we had, and I was going over some notes when I felt her eyes watching me.
"You need a hand?" I asked, unable to take the staring any longer. I looked up at her, quirking a brow.
She seemed to fall out of her daydream and straightened up, eyes flickering to mine. "Huh?"
I gave her an awkward smile, unable to maintain her gaze. "You're staring."
She didn't seem fazed as I called her out, instead leaning back in her seat and continuing to study me curiously.
"Did you do something different with your hair?"
Subconsciously reaching for my hair, I straightened up my ponytail and shook my head. "No...?"
She chewed on her lip, saying after a pause, "You tied it up. You usually leave it out."
Did I? I wasn't sure. I just knew that her noticing something like that made me feel self conscious all of a sudden.
"It looks good," she decided, before offering up a small smile. "You should do it like that more often."
Quickly, I felt warm. Was it stuffy in here or was it just me? God, compliments already made me feel stupid. And compliments from pretty girls made me feel ten times that. It didn't help that she was watching me with an endearing expression, making me focus on my book before me.
"Thanks," I got out quickly. "I– yeah."
Her smile widened before she looked back down to her own book. Suddenly, I became acutely aware of the way her leg brushed up against mine under the table.
Thankfully, the strange fuzzy feeling following her compliment faded and we were able to get back to work without her tuning out again. As we were going over each other's practice questions, an annoying voice shouted from across the library.
"Wanda, head's up!"
"Hey, no talking in the library!" a librarian hissed at the voice.
Wanda and I looked up just in time for a football to smack me in the side of the head. I didn't even see it coming until I felt the thing slap my head, giving me an instant urge to strangle whoever threw it.
"Fuck," I cursed, holding my head and closing my eyes to breathe through the pain.
"Oh my God, are you okay?" Wanda's voice made me open my eyes and I saw her leaning forward, hand resting on my shoulder and the other on top of mine that was clutching my head.
"Been better," I admitted, trying to make light of the situation because as angry as I was at the idiot who threw it, I was also embarrassed because it hit me.
Wanda seemed concerned as she gently pulled me hand away, not letting go as she got a better look at the side of my face which I was sure was burning red. At least that's what it felt like.
"Shit, I'm so sorry."
I looked up and saw none other than Nate Green, Wanda's boyfriend, hovering and stifling a laugh as he looked at me. He had his stupid varsity jacket on and I was tempted to strangle him with it.
"I thought Wanda would catch it," he explained stupidly, before moving around the desk to collect his football.
Breathing out through gritted teeth, I pulled away from Wanda and nodded reassuringly. "I'll be fine. Just need an ice pack."
"You're such an idiot, Nate!" Wanda snapped, looking to him with a glare. "You need to watch what you're doing!"
He smiled sheepishly, making me roll my eyes and clench my jaw at the heat on the right side of my face. Fuck, that really hurt.
"What did you want?" Wanda asked him with a quirked brow. She definitely wasn't impressed. I'd hate to ever be on the wrong side of that condescending glare.
"I thought we could go out," he said like it was that simple.
"I'm studying," she quipped with crossed arms.
"I'm happy to wait," he said, toying with the ball in his hands.
Knowing I definitely didn't want that, I closed my books and said, "It's cool. You guys go. I think we're done here anyway."
Nate grinned. "See? S'all good."
Wanda ignored him and looked to me with worried eyes. "Y/N, are you sure?"
"You know your stuff," I said, referring to the work. "You'll be fine in the test. I'm sure."
I offered her a small, forced smile, before standing up to pack my bag. She did the same, beginning to pack her own things, but her eyes kept flittering towards me.
"D'you want me to go to the nurse's office with you?" she asked, shame laced in her voice.
"It's fine, I'll be fine," I said, hurrying up with my actions so I could just get out of here whilst I still had (some of) my dignity left. "See you in class tomorrow."
She nodded, sending a guilty smile my way. "See you tomorrow, Y/N."
Without giving either of them a look, I shouldered my backpack and left the library. Just another reminder of why Nate Green was literally the worst person ever.
Liking Wanda as more than a friend wasn't something that happened for a while if I'm being honest. I guess I started to enjoy her presence more and more the longer we spent time together.
I'd come to appreciate it whenever she'd say something completely out of the blue that made no sense whatsoever, or whenever she'd laugh at something I'd said that was arguably not funny but she didn't want to make me feel bad, or even whenever I teased her about something stupid she did, resulting in her doing that cute little nose scrunch she did. But I didn't think of it as liking her, more just a randomly-formed friendship that I was glad to have.
Maybe it was this misinterpretation that didn't make me see how I was acting around her, such as the time I was in the dinner queue at lunch when I realised she was stood behind me.
"Oh, hey, Y/N," she said when she noticed it was me in front of her. Her usual bright, friendly smile was on her lips as she looked to me. "You good?"
I nodded, returning her smile. "Yeah. Just getting some doughnuts for Y/BF/N and I. You?"
"Same," she said, before nudging the guy next to her, who I recognised as her brother. "Pietro and I thought we'd treat ourselves."
At the mention of his name, Pietro looked down to his sister before his gaze fell on me. A mischievous smile appeared on his lips as he put out his hand.
"Pietro Maximoff," he introduced. "You must be the Chemistry partner, Y/N, right?"
I raised my eyebrows with surprise as I shook his hand. "You, er, know who I am?"
He glanced at his sister with a cheeky smile. Wanda was avoiding both of our gazes, her cheeks dusting pink.
Clearly saving face for Wanda, he said, "We've been in the same grade since kids, right? 'Course I do."
Despite the truth to his words, something told me that wasn't how he knew who I was. Especially since I was sure I'd never spoken to him in my life. But, to save Wanda the embarrassment of clearly having spoken of me at home, I nodded to Pietro.
"Right," I agreed with an amused smile. "Duh."
I moved down the queue and grabbed two doughnuts from the display, putting them in two separate paper bags.
"Dibs the last one!" Pietro exclaimed as soon as I returned the clippers to the display. He reached around his sister immaturely and bagged the last doughnut.
Wanda rolled her eyes. "You know I can ask for more, right?"
Pietro grinned, eyes sparkling with mischief. "Go on then."
The two were twins, but they couldn't have been more different. I simply revelled in their interaction, finding it adorable.
Wanda did as she said, asking the dinner lady if there were any more doughnuts in the back. Unfortunately for her, those were the last for the day, making Pietro laugh as Wanda pouted.
"Sucks to be you," he teased her, as I paid for mine and Y/BF/N's doughnuts.
"I hate you," she mumbled playfully, but I saw the disappointment in her eyes as he lovingly but annoyingly waved his bag before her eyes.
Without even thinking much of it, I held out one of the bags in my hand. "Here. You can have mine."
Wanda looked to me with surprise. "Are you sure? I can live without a doughnut, if that's what you're thinking."
I chuckled, grabbing her hand and making her take it. "It's okay. I wasn't in the mood anyway."
Plus, you look better when you're smiling and not pouting, I added in my head.
She accepted the bag reluctantly. "I– thanks. At least let me pay for it–"
"It's just a doughnut, Wanda," I teased, before nodding her way. "See you later."
Leaving her and Pietro to it, I headed back to the table Y/BF/N was sat at and took a seat opposite him before giving him his doughnut.
"Sweet," he said, quickly opening the bag before realising I didn't have one. "Where's yours?"
Over his shoulder, I saw Wanda and Pietro taking a seat at their lunch table, doughnuts in hand and a heartwarming smile on Wanda's lips.
"They ran out," I answered Y/BF/N. "Wasn't in the mood anyway. Enjoy."
He shrugged before digging in. I'd like to say I didn't spare glances in Wanda's direction every now and then for the rest of the lunch hour, but I'd be lying if I did.
I'm in the art department. You okay to bring it here?
I read over the text Wanda sent me before shooting her an 'okay' and heading to the Art department. I'd grabbed her notebook in class earlier on, only realising as I was studying with Y/BF/N in the library and pulled out an extra one, so I was going to give it her back.
I guess, when you realise you like someone, it comes randomly, suddenly, without warning. Liking someone isn't instant, it's constant and gradual and subconscious. I guess I'd been falling for Wanda for a while, without even realising, but today was the day I acknowledged that fact.
The Art department wasn't somewhere I frequented regularly – give me a paint and brushes and I'd probably present you with a finger painting – but it was definitely worth the visit. Art pieces from current and past students were hung on the walls, a mural of the school was spray painted on another, and sculptures stood around. The whole department brought a smile to anyone's face with its bright colours and open space – I could see why Art students always hung out here, Wanda included.
Speaking of Wanda, I found her in one of the classrooms sat at a stool in front of a series of canvasses. The room had a few other Art students littered around, working on their own pieces during their lunch period, otherwise it was empty.
"Hey," I called, getting her attention as I approached her.
She followed my voice and straightened up with a cheery smile. "Y/N, hey. Thanks for coming. I'm working on my Art project, so I couldn't pull myself away."
I waved my hand dismissively, joining her side. "It's all good, don't worry." My eyes wandered to the series of canvases on easels she was working on and widened. "Holy shit, these are so good."
Three unfinished hyperrealistic portraits of people were before us, one whom I recognised as Pietro. The paintings were so detailed, despite their medium-size, and I couldn't imagine how long they must have taken.
"You think?" she asked, glancing between them. "I think I messed up the nose here." She pointed with the back end of her paintbrush to the nose of Pietro. "It's a bit bent."
I almost laughed as I looked to her with disbelief. "Are you kidding? Wanda, these are amazing. How did you even do this?"
She looked down bashfully, a nervous smile on her lips. "I don't know. It's for a project. I chose to do family portraits." She pointed to each one as she said, "My mum, my dad and my brother."
I was in awe of her talent, jaw dropped with amazement still. I always knew she was an artist, but I'd never actually seen her work. I was starting to wish I'd come here a lot sooner.
"So, you got my notebook?" she asked, pulling me back into reality.
I looked away from the paintings reluctantly before getting her notebook from my bag and holding it out for her. As she accepted it, she must have forgotten she was holding her paintbrush as the tip brushed my wrist, leaving a swipe of red there.
"Oh, my bad," she said with a laugh, before setting her notebook and brush down and grabbing a paper towel from beside her.
Wetting it with water from her bottle, she pressed it to my wrist and swiped the paint away. It was such a mundane action, but the way her fingers gently held my wrist and emanated a warmth only she seemed to carry sent shivers down my spine.
I glanced up at her, letting her do it, and noticed the swipe of paint she had across her cheek, as if she'd touched her face without realising.
Now that I paid attention, I noticed how cute she looked in her Art getup. An old, oversized shirt covered in paint was being worn to cover her clothes, sleeves loosely rolled up to her elbows. Her long hair was tied back into a ponytail, but her baby hairs framed her forehead adorably.
When her hair wasn't in her face, her eyes only seemed more intense, glistening with excitement and happiness. I almost forgot to breathe when they met mine briefly, a hint of embarrassment there from when cleaning me up. She was in her element here and it made sense to me now.
I knew I'd fallen for her.
"You don't get it," I was saying to Y/BF/N as we hung about the school gym, waiting for the teacher to start the lesson. "It's bad. I like her. Like, like like her."
Y/BF/N laughed, clapping me on the back with pity. "You're screwed."
I frowned. "I know."
As he stretched for class, he continued, "I mean, I get it, I do. She's super nice. Pretty. And you guys seem to get on."
I chewed on my lower lip worriedly.
He gave me a knowing look. "There's one problem though."
I groaned, running a hand down my face. "I know, I know. She's got that dick of a boyfriend."
He chuckled. "That's one way to put it."
I sighed, crossing my arms with annoyance. Since realising I liked Wanda as a little more than a friend, things weren't going well for me. Whenever we worked together, I'd forget what I was thinking because I was too busy admiring her side profile or getting lost in her eyes. If she spoke about the work, told a joke or was simply speaking her thoughts aloud, I'd focus on every little thing she was saying, knowing I could listen to her speak all day. It was bad, but thankfully I hadn't stumbled over my words or made a total fool of myself in front of her. I was determined to not let it get that far.
My eyes wandered around the gym as Y/BF/N tried to give me advice, but admittedly, his words flew in one ear and out the other when I caught sight of Wanda.
She was standing with her friends, smiling and laughing to whatever they were saying. Like everyone else in here, she was wearing her gym kit – black athletic shorts and a blue and white tee shirt, the colour of our school. It wasn't anything special, yet she made it seem that way, outdoing anyone in here. Her brown hair was tied back, the ponytail falling down her back, showing her stunning profile and making my mouth go dry.
Another clap on the back from Y/BF/N pulled me from my reverie and I looked to see he was laughing at me.
"Majorly screwed," he corrected his previous comment.
He was definitely right.

Lucky Charm: Reflekdoll
Summary: Adrien struggles to adapt to his powers as Mister Bug while facing an old villain with a new trick. Will he be able to learn fast enough to save his partner?
----------------------------------
"Reflektas, start turning the rest of Paris into me!"
Adrien hid behind the overturned car as Reflekta's clones started attacking untransformed civilians. Apparently, Reflekdoll broadcast a signal that brainwashed any copies. "That's new."
"You are Chat Noir, correct?"
Turning, he spotted a red kwami holding a pair of earrings. "Yeah? And that over there is... Ladybug?" Adrien asked as someone who could only be his Lady launched herself at the giant sentimonster. The suit may have been different but the cat ears were a dead giveaway.
"There's been a little mix up with the Miraculous. I'm Tikki, pleased to meet you!" Tikki offered Adrien the earrings which he accepted.
"Well! Tikki, transforme-moi!"
-----------------
Marinette dodged blast after blast from Reflekdoll.
"Well, my Lady Noire, looks like you're playing the easy part today!"
Lady Noire looked over to see who could only be Chat Noir with her Miraculous. "Not so sure about that!" Placing herself in front of him Lady Noir whirled her staff as a shield, blocking Reflekdoll's beam. "Looks like we'll be taking on two opponents that amplify each other's powers!"
They jumped onto the top of a nearby stone pillar as Reflekdoll attacked again.
"Stay focused, Mister Bug!"
Mister Bug took his yo-yo out and whirled it like he'd seen Ladybug do countless times. "Just my luck. I'm gonna have to capture two akuma instead of one."
"No, one akuma and one amok," Lady Noire corrected.
Reflekta fired her beam into one of the ports onboard. The magic layered by Reflekdoll before it shot a concentrated beam. Mister Bug acted on instinct and tackled Lady Noire out of the way. They rolled to their feet and charged up Reflekdoll as Lady Noire explained what a sentimonster was.
"Would've been nice to know what the Peacock could do before their sentimonsters started showing up!" Mister Bug commented as he launched a kick at said sentimonster to little effect.
"It was on a need-to-know basis!" Lady Noire swung her staff into the sentimonster with similar results.
"I really need to talk with the Guardian about what he considers 'need-to-know'!" Mister Bug leapt back towards the ground with Lady Noire. "Okay, so we need to find Reflekta's akumatized object and the baby monster's amok."
Lady Noire deflected another beam from Reflekdoll. "Can you manage or should we switch back?"
"C'mon! I'm totally capable of doin' it!" Mister Bug smirked.
Lady Noire pulled him out of the way of Reflekdoll's beam and they ran towards the Eiffel Tower. "We need to figure out where the akuma and amok are!"
"Probably the same place as the last time we fought her. In her bracelet!"
They jumped onto the tower itself and used the iron structure to shield themselves. "Maybe. We're gonna have to check that!"
"If I could just get my hands on a mirror I'd be able to reflect her own beam back at her!"
Landing on the first level, Lady Noire turned to look at Mister Bug. "That's not how it works." She crossed her arms. "The Lucky Charm doesn't just give you what you want."
"You ever asked? Watch and learn!" Mister Bug grinned. "Lucky Charm!"
"A mirror!" Oh, Adrien was gonna lord this over her so much!
"Beginners luck," Lady Noire declared. Chat Noir was gonna be insufferable about this she could feel it.
"You're just jealous of my mastery!" Mister Bug teased.
A loud banging interrupted them and they looked down to see Reflekdoll climbing the tower. Reflekta steering with one hand and shooting her much smaller lasers through the window eyes with the other.
Mister Bug held out his mirror and reflected one of them back at her. Bullseye!
Reflekdoll shot at them with its big beam.
 "Very effective, Mister Bug."
"Hey, it worked didn't it?"
Lady Noire sighed in exasperation. "May I remind you that the Lucky Charm doesn't just give you an object to defeat the villain with-"
"I thought that's exactly what it does?"
"You actually have to figure out exactly how to use it!" Lady Noire poked him in the forehead. "Using your head!"
Reflekdoll reached there level and started firing. Mister Bug jumping for cover while Lady Noire blocked its attack with her staff. "Since you wasted your Lucky Charm. I guess that means it's my turn, buggaboy! Watch and learn! Cataclysm!"
Lady Noire leapt at the sentimonster and-
Her body was pulled out of the way of Reflekdoll's beam just in time. Mister Bug unwinding his yo-yo none too gently. "What was that about using your head? May I remind you that Cataclysm needs a physical medium to work properly! If that sentimonster is made outa magic I doubt it'll do what you want!"
Lady Noire held the Cataclysm as close as she could without actually touching it. "Well, what do you suggest?"
Mister Bug pulled her out of the way of another beam. "Uh... I... Knock her back to ground level while I come up with something?" Adrien smiled with the most conviction he could muster.
Lady Noire groaned. "Think fast!" And rushed out. Dodging Reflekdoll's attack she extended her baton and struck the sentimonster with her full momentum. Reflekdoll crashing back down to earth.
Taking advantage of Lady Noire's distraction Mister Bug glanced around from his high vantage point. Trying to spot anything that would spark an epiphany like Ladybug. "Okay, I admit it!" he cried out, shoulders slumping, "Being Chat Noir is way more fun."
Lady Noire leapt around the sentimonster and struck at its body. The Black Cat giving her a bit more agility than she was used to. Very handy.
Mister Bug added a swing of his yo-yo to one of her attacks. Reflekdoll stumbling with their combined force.
Lady Noire landed beside him. "What have you got?"
"Ah," Mister Bug rubbed the back of his neck. "About that..."
She stared at him. "Seriously!?"
"Well, I'm sorry! Some of us are just slow learn-"
"LOOK OUT!"
Lady Noire didn't think. She just acted. Mister Bug was the only one who could purify the akuma and he needed to keep going. She pushed Mister Bug out of the way as one of Reflekta's clones attacked... Just as Reflekdoll fired its beam.
"My Lady!" Mister Bug cried out.
Lady Noire stood immobile as a Reflekta copy.
"Yes! Now get bug boy's Miraculous!" The original Reflekta ordered.
Springing to life, the Reflekta that used to be Lady Noire aimed her bracelet and fired.
Mister Bug whirled his yo-yo as a shield and leapt to the nearest roof.
"You won't get away from me!" Reflekta called after him as he fled for cover.
-----------------
Adrien leaned against the wall of his hiding place. Breathing deeply, heart hammering in his chest. "Okay. It's okay. Ladybug does this all the time! What would Ladybug do? What would Ladybug do?"
The Ladybug earrings beeped insistently.
"This is fine!" Adrien announced as he detransformed.
Tikki falling into Adrien's palms as he fell to his knees.
"This isn't fine! Tikki, I can't do this! I'm no Ladybug! We should've switched back when she said! I-" Adrien's chest constricted and he forced his breath to slow.
"She trusted you enough to keep going," Tikki said weakly.
Her state bringing Adrien out of his head. "You need food."
Tikki hovered closer to his face, looking him in the eye. "No two of my Ladybug's have ever been exactly alike. Some are slower learners than others. I trust you, too."
Adrien looked away, shoulders hunching. "But I messed up."
"Remember Stoneheart?" Tikki prompted. "Ma- Ladybug messed up too. But you still believed in her." She placed a paw on his cheek. "Believe in yourself now."
Adrien's gaze came back to her.
"Don't ask what Ladybug would do. Ask yourself: what would Adrien do?"
Steeling his resolve Adrien nodded, rising to his feet and cupping Tikki in his palms. "First things first," he inched closer to the alleyway's entrance. The overturned car with his stash of Camembert a short sprint away. "Let's get you recharged."
A gaggle of Reflekta clones chased a group of civilians past him. The people hit turning into more copies and standing still until the akuma villain's voice came booming over the city. The new clones springing to life so they could follow her orders.
They lit up in Adrien's mind and his head shot back to the sentimonster in the distance. Its beam lighting up too.
Adrien gazed down at Tikki and grinned. "I've got an idea."
-----------------
"Lucky Charm!"
A mirror fell into Mister Bug's hands. "Wow, twice in a row. Lucky me," Adrien deadpanned as he tied it to his arm like a shield using his yo-yo. The plan was a laughably simple two step process.
Step One: Get shot.
"Hey, Reflekta!" he hollered from a rooftop at convenient shooting hight. "Don't you know that pink frills are so last season?"
"Once I turn the whole world into Reflektas it'll be the only season!" She fired into Reflekdoll's port which concentrated her energy into a stronger blast.
Just as planned. Mister Bug braced his feet and held his Lucky Charm directly in front of him. "Here we go!"
The sentimonster fired.
Step Two: Shoot Reflekta with her own sentimonster's magic.
The beam reflected off Mister Bug's mirror and perfectly into the round eye windows. Blasting Reflekta dead center.
Adrien held his position for a moment, peaking past his makeshift shield. Reflekta and Reflekdoll stood still. Waiting for orders from... themselves. The enhanced magic dependent on the sentimonster and by extension whoever was driving it.
"Yes!" Mister Bug raised both fists. "Now just a little pest control and we can all get on with our day!"
Finding and purifying the akuma and amok was easy when he wasn't being shot at. Grabbing Juleka as the sentimonster vanished and setting her down on the ground.
Adrien looked at Mister Bug's reflection in his mirror... "I've always wanted to do this." And tossed his Lucky Charm into the air. "Miraculous Mister Bug!"
As the ladybug's restored Paris he spotted a familiar black suit. Adrien ran for her.
"Mister Bug? What- OOF!" Lady Noire stumbled as her partner barreled into her and tried to squeeze all the air out of her lungs. Once she could breathe Marinette wrapped her arms around him and patted his back. "You did good, little bug."
Adrien just held her for a moment. She was okay. He'd saved her. She was okay.
Then his earrings beeped.
Breaking the hug, Mister Bug jerked a thumb over his shoulder. "Ah, we should split."
"Yeah..." Lady Noire readied to extend her baton. "... I think I finally get why you're so protective."
Mister Bug smiled. "And I get why you're so focused all the time."
He offered a fist bump and she accepted. Both heroes leaping in opposite directions.
-----------------
"Tikki!" Marinette cradled her friend to her chest.
"Marinette!"
"I can't believe how much Chat trusts me... Knowing you might have to do that again? I don't think I could handle it."
"He's your Chat Noir for a reason, Marinette," Tikki agreed.
-----------------
"Fighting by yourself is horrible, Plagg! I don't know how Ladybug does it." Adrien held him tight. Deciding never to let his Miraculous out of his sight again.
"She's got you most of the time, doesn't she? You're supposed to support each other, ain't ya?"
"Yeah. You're right..."
-----------------
"... Well, one things for sure, Tikki." Marinette gazed off in the direction Plagg flew towards.
-----------------
"She definitely-"
-----------------
"He definitely-"
-----------------
"-got the short straw."
----------------------------------
Yes, this is technically the last prompt... But it's already written and I'm impatient.

I refuse to believe the droid that blew up under tech's ass didn't cause more damage
Tumblr media
3.9k words ~ depictions of violence ~ ao3 ~ a little whump for your troubles
"They're using live rounds!" Hunter hisses, and Tech's blood runs cold. Live rounds? The Kaminoans have never resorted to training with live rounds within the simulation chamber. Even at a low power, live rounds have 62% chance of causing extensive damage to the room's durasteel construction, as opposed to the 21% chance with stuns. That does not even account for the monetary loss if a soldier were to lose their life or require medical attention. All in all, it's a horribly irresponsible training tactic. Something has changed. But why? Tech does not have an answer for that.
He looks at Hunter and Echo crouched behind the barrier next to him. "Get Wrecker," Hunter commands, the flurry of bright red blaster shots zooming overhead. "We'll cover you."
Tech offers a single nod in confirmation and eyes the distance to his fallen brother. With cover from both Hunter and Echo, and if he approaches from the opposite side of his barrier, he should have a relatively high chance of success. Assuming he can keep his head down, of course.
Tech makes his way to the barrier closer to Wrecker without issue.
"Wrecker, are you alright?" He asks, his anxiety quelling at the sight of his brother crawling toward him. The shot did not seem to fully penetrate his armor, which is good news. Tech runs out to meet him, grabbing Wrecker by the shoulder to help him get out of the line of fire.
Just in time it seems. One of the trigger-happy droids notices their movement and leaves a trail of carbon scoring in their wake.
Tech and Wrecker collapse against a barrier just as Hunter, Echo, and Crosshair fall back from their previous positions. He can see them approximately eight meters away. Too far to hear any orders without Hunter alerting the droids to their potential plan.
Suddenly their barrier is getting pounded by blasters. The training droids have discovered their hiding place and are firing without mercy. Smoke from the live rounds curl from the other side of the barrier, fogging up Tech's goggles and filling the air with the horrendous scent of burnt plastoid.
Or perhaps that is the smell of Wrecker's melted chest plate. Difficult to tell. Tech is quickly inching toward overstimulation from the deafening shots, heavy footsteps, and smell of smoke assaulting his senses..
He peers around the corner of their hiding space to get an idea of how close the droids are when a shot slams against the corner— far too close to comfort. He recoils just in time, but the heat of the shot still warms the skin between his helmet and blacks. There seems to be no clear break as the line of their attackers moves forward. He and Wrecker are stuck unless the others can help.
A whistle cuts through the sounds of battle. Tech and Wrecker look at their sergeant who waits for their attention before going through a serious of hand signals.
Split up. Cover. Draw fire. Distract and manual take down. Reprogram. Tech nods along, recognizing this particular sequence.
"Oh!" Wrecker exclaims, collapsing dramatically from his crouched position. "I hate hand signals."
"Perhaps if you memorized them," Tech offers, though he knows there is no chance in hell that will ever happen.
"Why don't you memorize them?"
"I have." Tech is more surprised that Wrecker assumed he hadn't. "What we did on Felucia."
Wrecker is on his feet in an instant. "Why didn't you just say that?" He throws a thumbs up to Hunter and the others— the only hand signal they can ever trust Wrecker to remember— and crouches his way to the outskirts of the chamber.
Tech watches as Hunter and Crosshair lay down cover fire, splitting up to spread the attention of the droids. And Echo assumes his ARC trooper role of running head-on into the action. As the droids shoot at his quick run, Wrecker runs up from behind, tackling one of the training droids to the ground with a satisfied laugh.
Also in typical ARC trooper fashion, Echo jumps onto the back of the other droid as though it's an angry rancor he's attempting to ride. And the droid bucks as any rancor would-- until Echo slams his scomp link into its neck, deactivating it all together.
Now it's reprogramming time. Tech runs to meet them, catching Wrecker's eager arm as it moves to punch the fallen droid again.
"Reprogramming this thing will be pointless if you crush it."
Wrecker seems disappointed, but he resists the urge to wreck. "You better be right about this."
Tech ignores the doubt and gets to work in the droid's circuit board. He works as quickly as possible, acutely aware that Hunter and Crosshair are undoubtedly being swarmed by this point.
"Hurry up," Wrecker warns. It is a statement more of worry for their brothers than a critique of Tech's programming speed. With a quick glance at his vambrace monitor, he slams the circuit board shut.
"Done. Let him go."
Wrecker and Echo back off just as the other droids launch a new attack at the site of their droid field surgery. They run for cover. Tech, on the other hand, situates himself on the shoulders of his new pet droid.
If Echo is the rancor rider, then he is the rancor tamer in this analogy.
The droid stands at its full height, nearly throwing Tech off on the way up, but he manages to press his thighs against its head to balance his weight. Shots from the other droids are whizzing past him in growing frequency. He is an easy target at this height and visibility. He needs to work quickly.
Taking control of the droid's weapons, he fires the live rounds back at the combatant droids. While their training blasters were useless against the thick durasteel plated training droids— as they were meant to be in a simulation— the live rounds actually do sufficient damage. He breezes past Echo and Wrecker's battle stations. Instructs his droid to punch the other droids that managed to get past his initial rain of fire. And as he weakens their defenses his brothers move in with vibroblades, perfectly placed stun shots, and raw strength.
A little bit of pride swells in his chest. The tides appear to be turning in their favor. If they can keep up this pace, their outcome will be favorable.
With his vantage point, Tech spots a droid sneaking up on Wrecker, who is otherwise occupied by beating another droid into submission.
"Wrecker, look alive," he warns. Wrecker lets out a sound of confusion before whirring around to find his next victim. It only takes an impressive suplex and Echo jabbing the droid in the neck for the danger to be adverted. But a new danger has begun to emerge.
Warning signs start flashing across Tech's vambrace screen. His rewriting job had to be hasty, which means he did not get the chance to secure every single circuit. His rush may prove to be their downfall as the connection flickers in and out. The droid sways beneath him and he fights to remain on its shoulders.
"I can't sustain the connection," he says through grit teeth. But with two more enemies stalking toward him he has no choice but to hope he can hold on through the end. His droid manages a weak strike against one of the attacking bots, and a few point blank shots in the face of the other. The connection suddenly re-establishes with full strength, and he grins with glee.
But his success is only temporary. His ride jolts backward as a droid from the upper tier manages to shoot right though its chest— right into the main circuitboard, Tech realizes with dismay. He can't do anything but watch as the droid gets hit a few more times and explodes beneath him. The surge of the blast sends Tech flying backward with much more force than would have been a problem had he simply fallen off the droid. His body hits the ground back-first, ripping the air from his lungs. And then he bounces. When he hits it again, the back of his head slams into the durasteel floor and his vision swims with black dots. Tech tries to blink through the cloudiness of his vision, barely aware of somebody yelling his name through the ringing in his ears.
Everything suddenly hurts. The back of his legs are hot and the smell of burnt plastoid is even more putrid than earlier. Considering how long the droid had been engaging in active battle, and the numerous shots straight to the power source... the heat of combustion had to have been fairly significant. Perhaps even sufficient enough to melt his armor, he realizes with a deep groan.
"Tech!" his name reaches him this time. A little clearer. Definitely Wrecker. He tries to lift his head but only succeeds in lobbing it to the side. But it's enough to see Wrecker crouched a few meters away. "Hold tight, buddy."
Tech can see the consistent shower of blaster shots still thick in the air. It is a full-on battlefield tucked within the confines of Kamino's training facility.
"I'm..." he starts to say, attempting to assure Wrecker that he's okay, but even the act of raising his arm and head is enough to send a jolt of pain down his back and limbs. His vision blurs again and he suddenly is whipped by exhaustion. His adrenaline has finally dropped off and it is pulling him down with it. Tech collapses back on to the ground, letting out a shaky sigh. "...not going anywhere."
He wants to help. But he runs the numbers in his head even as the aura of a migraine starts to dance before his eyes. With the number of droids and taking into account their individual firepower abilities paired with handicaps that come from limited programming and movement, Tech calculates that they have a 46% chance of success without his help.
They've won on lesser odds.
And when he takes into consideration the alternate scenario of him pushing through his current injuries and attempting to aid them in completing the simulation, their chance of success actually reduces to 41%. He knows his presence would distract the rest of his squad, or introduce a number of uncertain variables he is too tired to take into account at the moment.
Well, the math does not lie, he thinks, and lets his eyes flutter shut.
Wrecker watches Tech's body go limp and he seriously considers running at that last droid and tearing its head clean off with his bare hands. His youngest brother mutters something he can't really hear— whatever it is, his voice is pinched with pain. Not a good sign.
This needs to end now.
As though Crosshair was reading his mind, the sniper appears out of nowhere with his rifle at the ready. (Sometimes Wrecker wonders if he really can read minds. It wouldn't surprise him.)
"Wrecker, knife!" he yells. He has no idea what Cross is gonna do, but he unsheathes his knife and throws it in the air with a backspin. Crosshair shoots and strikes his knife mid-air, sending it blade first straight between the eyes of the last droid.
"Wow," he says in amazement.
There's a moment of quiet after the droid falls. Wrecker stands at his full height, still in awe that Cross managed to actually get that shot! He knows his brother's aim is impressive but wow— sometimes it's just next level.
Wrecker suddenly remembers Tech still lying next to the burnt leftovers of his pet droid. He and Echo rush to his side. Though Tech has pushed himself to a sitting position, Wrecker has enough experience with explosives and getting too close to them to notice how his brother refuses to let the back of his legs touch anything. On top of if, he saw the way his head bounced against the floor. Wrecker's no medic, but he knows a solid hit to the noggin when he sees one. Tech's usually sharp eyes are unfocused. The smears of carbon scoring across the lenses aren't helping, so he tries to wipe it away with his gloves. He only succeeds in making the smearing worse, but what worries him more is that his younger brother didn't react like he usually does when anyone tries to touch his goggles. Usually he jerks away, insists he can fix them himself. But now he's just... staring at nothing. It sends a spike of worry through Wrecker's large body.
As they attempt to pull him to his feet, he glances down at the state of Tech's armor. A shutter runs up his spine.
It's not good. He can't tell if the red that is dripping down Tech's boots and onto the floor is from his melted armor or blood... neither is a good sigh. And as soon as he and Echo get Tech to his feet, he immediately starts swaying to the side. Wrecker catches him under the arms, hearing a low hiss of pain and wondering if he should let him lie back again.
"Tech, are you okay?" Hunter asks as he and Crosshair make it to their position.
Tech's reply is very not-Tech like. A low groan. Not a single word. But he shifts his weight to his feet and gently pulls out of Wrecker's grasp to stand on his own.
"Techy you don't have to--"
"We're being watched," Crosshair interrupts. Wrecker looks up and realizes that Tarkin guy and Lama Su are still watching from the viewing gallery.
A part of him is glad they can't see the death stare on his face for shooting live rounds— live rounds!— at them.
Another part of him wants to give them a piece of his mind.
But as they disappear from sight, it becomes very obvious that Tech was only standing for their benefit. This time, his knees buckle and he falls forward. Hunter and Crosshair both lunge to catch him.
"He's out," Hunter says as they gently lower him to the ground. Now the overhead lights shine down on Tech's back and all of them freeze.
"Shit," Crosshair curses. The explosion melted his armor for sure. But what concerns them all is the mess of raw skin and melted blacks behind his knees and at his ankles. "Where the hell is medical?"
For some reason, when Tech awoke he expected to be staring at the ceiling of a med tent. It is a natural association to make in his newly conscious state. He suffered an injury due to an explosion, which is usually a scenario that is only possible in an active battlefield situation.
Hence, why seeing the sterile white ceiling of the Kamino ceiling sent him into a momentary panic. Did they cart me straight back to Kamino from the battlefield? Am I that injured? Does this mean I am being decommissioned?
He begins to try and sit up, but strong hands press down on his chest. It takes a few rounds of blinking to clear the tears that have welled up in his eyes. Echo and Crosshair stand on either side of his bed. Still in their armor. Both wide-eyed and looking quite exhausted as they attempt to calm him.
"Breathe, Tech," Echo says, demonstrating by drawing in his own large breath and slowly releasing it through his pursed lips. Tech imitates him until the tightness in his chest subsides. And he remembers.
A simulation. We were doing a training exercise. I was sitting atop the shoulders of a droid and... the droid combusted.
Right. Suddenly the numbness in his legs and the dull bite of a waning migraine make sense.
"Did we win at least?" Tech asks, looking between Crosshair and Echo.
"You don't remember?" The sniper asks carefully.
Tech remembers falling. A white hot pain. And then a lot of yelling and a lot of darkness.
"My current memory of the end of the exercise seems to be a bit... murky."
Echo and Crosshair exchange glances.
"We destroyed all the droids," Echo says finally.
"Wrecker was pleased about that part," the sniper mutters.
"So we won then. That's good." Both of them are silent for a long moment. Long enough that Tech replays their conversation up to that point wondering if he said something incorrect. From his point of view, there has been nothing that would offend either of them. So why they are acting so strange is beyond his understanding, unless they are withholding other context from while he was unconscious. "...isn't it?"
Finally Crosshair clears his throat. "None of us would consider you getting blown up a mission success, Tech."
"Well, technically, I didn't blow up, the droid—"
"Technically, nothing," Crosshair snaps at him. Echo glares at the sniper but doesn't exactly try to correct his outburst. "Either way, you got hurt."
Oh. So they are worried about his condition. For the first time since he's woken up, Tech cranes his head to look down at himself. He's in a thin, medical gown. No wonder he was feeling a bit of a draft. His bare legs are completely wrapped in thick bacta strips. That explains the numbness as well.
"How... bad?"
"Not as bad as it looks," Echo admits. "Mostly second-degree burns on your legs with a few small spots of third degree burns. No concussion and no grafts needed. Doc said after this round of bacta they'll rewrap and we can take you back to the barracks. It'll just feel like you have a bad sunburn for a few days."
That's good news at least. He does feel much better. Not in terrible pain like before, though Tech suspects the IV in his arm might have something to do with that.
"You passed out after the simulation," Crosshair says with a haunted stare.
"From the pain, I assume?"
"Also from the adrenaline dump." Echo shrugs. "We all came out of that with shaky legs."
"Speak for yourself," Crosshair mutters but Echo ignores him.
"None of us expected to fight for our lives today."
All of them can agree on that. Speaking of fighting for their lives, Tech realizes it's just the three of them. He looks to the beds at his left and right and find that they're empty. The memory of watching Wrecker's body crumble after getting shot flashes through Tech's mind and he tries to sit up again. This time Crosshair presses his hand against his back and helps him up.
"Where's Wrecker and Hunter? Are they alright?"
"Wrecker also had a burn on his chest, but they discharged him already. Hunter is with him," Echo smiles. "I think Wrecker said something about being hungry."
"Well, we didn't get much of a meal before this," Crosshair says bitterly.
Tech finally relaxes back into the pillow. His brothers are all safe, he's going to be discharged soon, and they completed their training exercise. It's a much better outcome than he expected from waking up in the med wing.
After his bacta is changed, Echo helps him into a fresh pair of blacks while Crosshair grabs his armor. The shirt is no problem, but the tight-fitting pants prove to be a more difficult feat.
"Maybe we can go get you a looser pair," Echo suggests as Tech has to literally bite down on his own lip to distract himself from the discomfort. Even with the barrier of bandages, the thick material feels scratchy against his sensitive skin. So bad that shivers run up his spine and he begins to feel a little nauseous.
"No," Tech pushes Echo's hand away. Honestly, the very thought of the pants having to peel back down his leg is worse than the idea of keeping them on. "I'll adjust." Echo seems hesitant but he doesn't fight him further. Tech gets his armor on-- sans the pieces that were melted in the explosion, of course. Those will require a trip to the armory to replace. (But he is not exactly jumping at the idea of restraining his swollen legs right now, anyway.)
"Ready?" Crosshair asks, though his facial expression looks as though he won't believe a word that comes out of Tech's mouth no matter what.
"Indeed."
They walk slowly back to the barracks, taking the long route to pick up Hunter and Wrecker from the caf. For the first few corridors, the scratchy feeling is agonizing. He has to walk with stiff legs to avoid bending his knees too much. It earns him his fair share of strange looks from the regs that pass, though they usually look at him like he was some sort of abomination, so it doesn't bother him. (Tech hypothesizes it has something to do with his goggles and how they stick out of his helmet. Makes him look quite different from even his own squad.)
But as they reach the caf, the stinging has begun to fade. His body is adjusting, as he predicted. The pain receptors in his legs are finally recognizing that it isn't a stimulus worth the trouble to continue griping about. He manages to bend his knees just enough that his stiffness isn't so obvious, more of a limp.
Wrecker's joyful tone rings out as soon as they grow near to the cafeteria. The largest of their brothers appears around the corner, his face brightening as he breaks into a run. "Tech!" Echo and Crosshair are quick to jump in and stop him from body slamming Tech.
"Easy, Wrecker, you know better than any of us how it feels to get blown up," Crosshair says before stepping aside for Wrecker to pull Tech into a bear hug. He sees Cross glance at Echo and then smirk. "Well, maybe that's not true. Echo here might have us all beat."
The former ARC trooper rolls his eyes. "Very funny."
Wrecker releases Tech. Somehow without aggravating his burns too badly. He is glad he opted to wear his helmet instead of carrying it. The mask hides his wince as pain shoots up his legs when Wrecker drops him back on the floor.  "I'm so glad you're okay!"
"As am I," he replies sheepishly. They start to make their way back toward their barracks. "Though I hardly blew up, it was merely a droid overheating."
"Did it have smoke and fire?" Wrecker asks.
"Minimal, but yes."
"Did it make a boom sound?"
"Well I'm not sure I would classify--"
"And did you get thrown really hard and burn your butt off?"
Tech sighs. "Perhaps."
Wrecker shrugs with a smug grin, looking around at the others. "You may be the expert on most things, Tech, but I know explosions. And that sounds a lot like an explosion to me."
Crosshair chuckles, his face in its usual sneer as he pats Tech's shoulder pauldron.
"It's alright," Echo whispers to him as Wrecker starts a loud tangent about getting shot at. "Means you get to be a part of the Got Blown Up Club. Meetings are bimonthly."
Not exactly a club Tech expected to be joining at a battle simulation. But then again, when do things ever go right for their squad in normal circumstances? He is curious to see what justification they had for such an irresponsible stunt. Tech has a sinking feeling Tarkin and Echo's claim that he hates clones has something to do with it.

Rex + Engineer!Reader
Tumblr media
This is the prequel to the Rex + Blanket Fort + Kisses one-shot found here on my masterlist. As this is a prequel to that story, you don't need to have read it for this to make sense. And as you could probably tell from the picture, this takes place during the Onderon arc.
Rex x gn!reader: intended to be early romance, but could be read as platonic.
Word Count: a bit more than 3,400
Warnings: canon-typical violence, including spoilers for the Onderon arc (S 5, E 2-5) of Star Wars: The Clone Wars
---
"And Captain Rex will train everyone in the encampment on basic combat skills and maneuvers," General Skywalker announced.
You didn't pay overly much attention to that. The general was younger than you had anticipated, but he was clearly used to combat and had the kind of authority usually honed through commanding large groups of soldiers. Still, you knew his order didn't apply to you and moved to slip away from the area. Your schematics needed a lot more work before the rebels could attack without bringing buildings down.
"And where are you running off to?" a muscular man with light hair asked, stepping into your path.
You gave a tight smile. "Classified, sorry."
The man nodded toward the general. "General Skywalker says everyone needs combat training."
"Oh, not me," you reassured him. "I'm a contracted engineer, not one of the Rebels. I'm just here to make sure they destroy as little of the infrastructure as possible while they take back control."
"And do you live in the encampment?" he asked.
You narrowed your eyes at him, feeling sure this was a trap. Eventually, you gave a short nod.
"Then you'll be training with me," he said firmly. "Captain Rex, 501st Legion."
You reluctantly shook the hand he offered and introduced yourself, finishing with, "-but I'm strictly an engineer."
"We're worried that this isn't likely to end without one or several attacks on this encampment," the captain told you. "A few hours of training could save your life."
"And a few hours of work on the city's schematics could save the lives of countless civilians," you argued. Sending that he would continue trying to convince you, you shook your head. "The Gerrera siblings are the ones who hired me. I'll let them make the final choice."
"And I'll leave it to the Generals," Captain Rex agreed.
Clearly not taking chances, he marched off toward where Steela Gerrera and Lux Bonteri were talking with Generals Skywalker and Kenobi, as well as a Togrutan female you vaguely remembered as being a commander.
"Generals, Commander," Captain Rex greeted with a crisp salute. You rolled your eyes. Soldiers. "We were hoping you could settle a difference of opinion."
"A difference of opinion?" General Kenobi repeated with a frown.
"What opinion would that be, Rex?" General Skywalker asked.
The captain explained the situation while you stood in silence. Steela met your gaze at several points during the conversation, looking concerned each time.
"We're only here to train the rebels," General Skywalker said after Captain Rex had finished talking. "Not anyone else."
"All of us are rebels," Steela argued, ignoring your signals that you didn't want training at all. "Just by being here in opposition to the Separatist forces, we are all considered a threat to their power."
"A contracted employee is different than someone who joined your cause because they believe in it," the commander countered, wrinkling her nose. "We aren't offering training to mercenaries."
"We're talking about an engineer, not someone hired to perform assassinations," Lux contributed. "What could it hurt?"
"Generals, Commander," Rex said, his quiet voice somehow drawing their attention. "I think every member of the rebel group needs to be trained. I think it's important."
"Rex…" General Kenobi sighed, but Skywalker interrupted before he could expand on his thoughts.
"I trust Rex's instincts," he told the older general. "If he thinks everyone needs to be trained, we'll make it happen."
You made a frustrated noise before you could stop yourself. "I don't need training. I'm an engineer. I don't work in combat situations."
"That's the thing about combat," Skywalker said with a shrug. "You don't always have to look for it. Sometimes, it comes to you. Especially in wartime."
The group split up immediately afterward, seemingly having come to an agreement. You followed Steela, determined to make your case and get back to your schematics.
"Steela, you know I'm not here for fighting," you said, jogging to catch up to the young woman who had hired you. "It isn't part of my contract."
"It isn't, you're right," she agreed. "But I would think carefully before I turned down a chance to learn such a valuable skill considering how dangerous the galaxy is right now. Surely this could be helpful as a freelancer traveling the universe alone?"
You didn't have an immediate answer to that. Steela clearly noticed, nodding solemnly at you before turning away. "The choice is yours to make."
You gritted your teeth, but your feet refused to move from the spot. To your left was the strategic tent and your unfinished set of schematics. To the right, the Jedi were helping the rebels set up some kind of training ring.
"Well?" a voice prompted. You already recognized it as belonging to Rex.
You stood still for a beat longer before giving a loud and heartfelt groan as you turned toward the freshly constructed training ring.
---
You were bad at fighting.
It wasn't really a shock to you. You had never been particularly graceful or good on your feet. That was why engineering had been such a draw - all mental work, almost no physical.
Rex, to his credit, turned out to be a surprisingly good teacher. He had kept everyone basically together as they learned new skills and practiced as a group. Still, he was determined that you would learn to defend yourself and here you were, fighting to shoot targets in the dying light, long after everyone else had scattered.
"I'm sorry," you apologized yet again as you missed. You were half an hour into intensive shooting lessons with Rex and you had yet to hit a single target.
"You don't need to apologize," he assured. "We'll just keep working until you get it down."
"I don't know if I can," you admitted, lowering the heavily modified blaster pistol until it was resting on the table in front of you. "We're losing the light and it's a bad idea to illuminate any more of the jungle than we have to."
"That's true," Rex agreed, rubbing at his neck while he studied the unharmed target. After a moment, he took the blaster pistol from your hands and holstered it at his side, then removed the holster belt as well.
You nodded sympathetically, hoping you could call it a night and put in a few hours of work on your schematics so the day wouldn't be a total waste.
Rex sighed, removing the subtly armored jacket he had been wearing during that day's training. "I guess we'll… we'll just have to switch to something less impacted by visibility."
"Wait, what?" you had time to ask before the stoic captain flat-out tackled you.
You were aware enough to know that Captain Rex had twisted to take part of the impact himself, but you still hit the ground hard enough to knock the breath from your lungs. In that moment of hollow gasping, Rex had pushed you onto your stomach and pinned your hands behind your back.
"The first rule of unarmed conflict is that you can't let anyone surprise you." Rex paused for a moment. "Actually, that's the first rule of any kind of conflict."
"Is the second rule that you shouldn't suffocate your sparring partner?" you croaked out, turning your head slightly so your face wasn't actively being pressed into the dirt anymore.
Rex laughed. It was the first time you had heard anything other than firm orders from him and you paused. It was a nice laugh. You were forced to gather your thoughts a moment later as he released you and helped you to your feet.
"You probably won't see a lot of hand-to-hand fighting with droids, but the armies aren't capable of anything beyond following orders. The armies are commanded by sentients, and those sentients are often closer to the armies than you would think."
"I have no intention of going after Grievous without a weapon," you joked. "Preferably more than one."
"You should stay away from Grievous no matter how many weapons you have," Rex advised. "But this is good to know, anyway."
"Actually, I agree with that," you said, surprising you both. "I'm a freelancer. Anything that helps me defend myself in a potentially hostile situation is a good thing."
"Okay, let's work on your hits, then," Rex suggested.
What followed was two full hours of unarmed combat practice. Rex was always the target, letting you throw punches and kicks against his open palms. When he realized that you were pulling your strikes because you were afraid to hurt him, he found a padded guard among the assortment of equipment the Republic had sent along.
Eventually, though, you were panting and bone-tired. Rex seemed to realize that without you saying anything.
"One last set of strikes and you're done for the night," Rex told you. It was the most beautiful thing anyone had ever said to you.
But as you punched, Rex moved the guard you had been aiming for. You shot him a look, but he only held the guard up, wiggling it slightly. You set up again, but Rex pulled away at the last second, dodging your fist to bop you on the shoulder with the guard.
"What are you doing?" you asked, exasperated. "You said this was the last set."
"It is. Or, it will be as soon as you actually manage to make contact."
You grimaced at him. This time, when he twisted the guard away, you turned with it. You were focused on keeping your footwork correct and your hit strong. You never even saw him move his foot between your ankles, but with a light tug, you were on the ground again.
"Seriously?" you asked from your spot in the dirt.
Rex laughed again, and this time, you didn't enjoy the sound at all. "Do you think your opponents are going to stand there and let you hit them? They're going to fight dirty - they always do. You just need to-"
As it happens, you never did learn what you needed to do. Rex had stepped too close, and your engineering experience told you that his ankles were at an angle that made him vulnerable to a hit. You kicked his ankle lightly, barely making contact, but it was enough to send one of his feet careening against the other. Rex stumbled, failed to regain his balance, and fell.
All of this was done on instinct and you felt as surprised as Rex looked when he landed on his butt in the dirt next to you.
"Good job," he said, breathless but sincere.
"Thanks," you accepted with a grin. "Does that mean I surprised you?"
"Not a bit," he denied, deflating your ego a bit. "I knew you were capable of it. You're an engineer. Engineers like angles and math. That's all combat is, adjusted for whatever you think the other side is going to do."
"Wait, that's… that's a really good point," you mused slowly. "Can I see your pistol again?"
Rex didn't move. "If you shoot me, you'll surprise me in the wrong way."
You snorted. "I'm not planning on shooting you, Captain. I just want to test how the application of math might help me."
After eyeing you for a moment, Rex stood in an enviably graceful motion and hauled you to your feet as well. Wordlessly, he handed you one of his blaster pistols. He had warned you before you began shooting that he had made numerous alterations to them, but you were still surprised by the weight of the weapon in your hand.
This time, instead of relying on instinct - point, aim, shoot - you worked to apply some logic. When you were sure about your angle, you squeezed the hyper-sensitive trigger and watched the resulting beam of weaponized light hit the target.
It wasn't a perfect shot, of course. Math couldn't fix everything. Still, you had hit the target and you cheered aloud, echoed by Rex's congratulations behind you. You had the presence of mind to set the pistol down before you turned, then Rex was grasping your forearm in the odd way warriors shook hands.
"Great job!" he told you warmly. "You're getting better."
"Thanks," you accepted, trying to vocalize your gratitude. You probably could have been offended by the tone of surprise in his voice, but you chose to overlook it.
"Now we just have to dial in your aim and get you comfortable with firing at moving targets, especially during chaotic situations."
Despite your best efforts, you felt your expression fall at that. Rex laughed again. When had he gotten so cheerful? "I'm kidding. That can be done tomorrow."
"Tomorrow?" you repeated doubtfully.
Rex folded his arms across his chest and stared at you steadily. "In one session, you've gone from unable to shoot a gun or throw a punch to knocking me down and hitting a target. If you can keep that pace of improvement, you'll be a force to be reckoned with."
"Or at least be able to stop clients who try to cop a feel," you added.
Despite his darkening expression, Rex's tone was unconcerned. "I'm sure you could break the hand of any di'kut dumb enough to try it now. With some training, you'd be able to tear that hand off completely."
And so you continued to train with Rex after everyone else had finished learning to disable tanks and other intense activities. During the day, you finalized schematics, studying holoimages of Onderon’s capital city of Iziz. Your goal was to record your best guesses for the most and least structurally-sound sections of the city.
The dedication the rebels showed for the safety of the Onderonian people was a big reason you had agreed to take this job. Despite what the Jedi seemed to think, you weren't actually a mercenary. You chose your jobs very carefully, and if something didn't match your morals, you would respectfully decline.
Between schematic work in the day and training at night, your time with the rebels flew past. Captain Rex continued to be patient and helpful as you worked to master the combat moves he taught you - ones decidedly more focused on self-defense than the moves he taught the rebels. The first day you had beaten him in a grappling situation, he had beamed up at you with dirt on his face and told you how far you had progressed. The squeezing of your heart at the praise warned that it was probably good that the captain and both Jedi generals were withdrawing from Onderon shortly, leaving Commander Tano to assist with the remaining rebel efforts.
Despite your determination to stay out of the conflict, you had eventually been forced into it when the Separatist armies had attacked the rebel base. One of the rebels you had known by appearance if not by name had been hit by blaster fire before he could use the rocket launcher held in his hands. He had held it up to you, begging with his eyes that you take out the ship that had fired on him before it could do more damage.
You had accepted, and the ship was a roiling ball of flame before you could make yourself nervous about shooting anything other than Rex’s now-familiar blasters. You tossed aside the rocket launcher and found a discarded blaster. From that point until the combat had ended, thoughts of schematics or building solidity were gone from your head. You were as much a part of the rebel group as anyone else, and you watched with the same horror as Steela Gerrera fell to her death, despite the best efforts of Commander Tano.
The funeral was lovely. Onderonians didn’t believe in mourning for their dead. Instead, they truly celebrated all that the departed had done to create a better society… and Steela had done a great deal.
When things had ended, you were sitting on a raised set of stairs overlooking the ceremonial area. The dais holding Steela’s cloth-draped casket was filled with people far too important for you to bother. You were glad to see Saw speaking with King Dendup. After he had handed you the agreed-upon payment for your services - despite your many attempts to refuse the credits - Saw had left, ignoring the sympathy you tried to offer. He needed to speak with someone, and if that someone was the man he and Steela had worked so hard to save, so much the better.
“Nice ceremony, huh?” someone asked from behind you, and you twisted a bit to find General Skywalker standing there with Captain Rex beside him.
You nodded, but you could feel that it was a half-hearted motion. “Steela was so young. She had a lot of promise.”
“She died fulfilling the mission she set out to finish,” Captain Rex countered. “She knew the risks and thought Dendup was worth it. Her choices were her own. All we can do is respect them.”
With a joyless smile, you said, “Doesn’t make it any easier.”
“It never does,” General Skywalker admitted, sitting next to you. Rex’s comlink chimed and he stepped a respectful distance away before answering it.
Skywalker sat beside you in silence for a while. Normally, you would speak first just for sake of politeness, but you weren’t feeling that generous. You let the silence linger while you watched the activity on the dais.
“Have you ever thought about using your talents for the Republic?” the general asked eventually.
“I thought I was a soulless mercenary?” you asked before you could think better of it.
“And I thought you didn’t work in combat situations,” Skywalker countered. “But I’ve seen the battlefield recordings. You handled yourself well.”
You glanced over at him in surprise. “Are you trying to contract me on as a soldier?”
“Force, no,” he denied quickly. “As an engineer. I sent samples of your work to a friend of mine who works as an engineer in the private sector and they were impressed. The GAR is struggling to find good engineers comfortable working in combat. The pay is a bit lower than you’re used to, but it’s steady work.”
Ah, he had cut straight to the heart of your problem with freelancing. The fight to survive between jobs meant that anything extra you were making was eaten up by the time you were hired on again. And your morals meant that jobs weren’t nearly as frequent as you would like them to be. But being in constant combat… Yes, you had survived this time, but that didn’t mean you were rushing to repeat the experience.
You grimaced. “I appreciate the offer, really, but I don’t know if it’s for me. Combat engineering isn’t really my specialty.”
“I think you’re selling yourself short,” General Skywalker told you seriously. “I’ve seen samples of your past work, and a lot of it is on worlds that have a lot of fighting. I’m sure you know that none of your structures have sustained extreme damage, no matter how much combat was happening around them. That’s an impressive record.”
“You researched me?” you asked, feeling a little stunned.
“Well, the Republic likes to know who they’re hiring. But honestly, I’m not the one who did the research,” Skywalker said, looking past you. You followed his gaze to Rex, who was suddenly very intently looking at his comlink. With a mischievous grin, the general added, “I think my captain has taken a liking to you.”
You fought back a grin, turning away from the captain, and your eyes fell on Steela’s casket once more. Suddenly, keeping a straight face wasn’t as much of a struggle. “If I said yes, what would my official job duties be?”
“You would oversee a group of construction experts - both civilian and enlisted - using maps and satellite footage to find the best possible choices for locations to build bases, bridges, or other structures to help us complete campaigns,” he answered easily. “Preferably, to win campaigns, but that’s more on us than you.”
“And would I work with your group?”
“The 501st?” Skywalker asked, sounding surprised. “I’m not sure, but probably. We’re a planetary landing battalion, so we always need someone who has the knowledge of places to build. You might have to stay behind on some planets to supervise base construction, but you could always catch back up with us. Is that something you would want?”
“Yes,” you said firmly. “If I did agree to that-”
“I’m no good at negotiations,” he interrupted with a self-deprecating smile. “You speak clearly about what you want and I’ll do what I can.”
“I’ll work for the Republic,” you said, feeling the nerves twist in your belly. “If you can make sure I’m permanently attached to the 501st.”
“Deal,” General Skywalker accepted immediately, holding his hand out for you to shake. “Welcome to the 501st.”

A/N - I assure you that there is no timeline of any sort happening in my writing, so don't think too hard about where this should fit into the narrative. It won't end well.

I've Got You! - Frank Woods X Reader, Part One
After getting told the wrong information about where Stitch took Adler, the team ends up in a sticky situation.
TW: Strong language, graphic description of wounds, violence.
Tumblr media
After spending months and months tracking Adler around the world, you were finally able to discover an upcoming location where Stitch was going to move.
You noticed Stitch never stayed in one place. It was very smart, because whenever you busted into the old workshop for them, it seemed sterilized, and wiped clean.
But, after a recent compound raid, Mason had found a forgotten manifest made by none other than Stitch himself.
This is where you tracked them to a location in Verdansk. Where it was, when they were arriving, how and why they were going to torture Adler, and when they were leaving for the next location to keep themselves concealed.
So, you and the boys geared up and went on Operation Solo Zero Eleven. This is the Operation find and rescue Adler mission. You had a pretty damn good team, and you weren't afraid of showing up on the Soviet Union's doorstep.
But something that you thought about the whole helicopter ride there was what happened a few nights ago, with Frank. You had both seem to get kind of close...
*Rembering a memory*
Just a few days before this Operation had been called, you were nervous. And naturally, as you were nervous you went to the pond about 3 miles from the base to swim.
It had a large cliff, you liked to cliff jump too. Today was a perfect day to do what you wanted and this was it. Just you, the clear beautiful water, and a delicious snack of bread and jam.
After taking the small hike, you climbed to the top of the cliff, sat everything down, and took off the cover-up you had on, revealing a gorgeous swimsuit.
You lay out the towel, took a sip of water, and went to the edge of the cliff, looking over to see if there was anything down there before diving in.
You didn't see much, but only a small boat in the distance. You thought nobody knew of this place so it made you feel weird. That is until you heard the voice of someone familiar.
"Y/N, you fuckin' nut what are ya doin'?"
You looked down at the boat and saw Frank, with Mason. You smiled down at them and stood back at the edge.
"I'm going to jump in and swim, you dipshit." You responded.
"Okay, that's a big cliff though. I'll bet ya five bucks you'll chicken out last minute!" Mason yelled.
You scoffed and threw your flip-flops off.
Woods looked up at you in amazement, his heart pounding.
"Well, Mason," you said, standing up tall.
"Hope you're ready to lose 5 bucks." You spoke cockily.
You ran forward, and did a flawless front flip into the water, sticking the landing. You went under the water and swam around for a bit until you had to come back up.
Frank got worried, you were under for at least a minute. He was afraid you'd gotten caught in a tree root or worse.
He started to get up and take his shirt off. Mason turned to him in confusion.
"The hell you doing Frank?" Mason asked.
"I'm going in, Y/N might need-" But he was cut off as he watched the still water break suddenly, and you majestically part the water, and break surface.
You looked right at the boys and laughed. You saw Frank shirtless and almost fainted.
"Told you, boys! Why don't you come in, waters fine!" You jabbed.
With no hesitation, Frank jumped in and swam straight for you. He came up, bear-hugged you, and sighed.
You were taken back but hugged back.
"You okay Frank?" You questioned.
"Yeah, just thought you were hurt..."
*End of memory*
You all reached Verdansk in no time. You felt kind of nervous, you had a gut feeling something was going to go wrong. But, you quickly brushed this feeling aside and loaded your magnum 44, and holstered it.
You inspected the M16 you had, quickly loading it and turning off the safety. You turned to the crew and pulled out the manifest.
"Okay, Stitch has Adler in the Array buildings to the Northeast. There should be a small part of the floor we need to plant charges on to get in. From there, we eliminate everyone but Stitch and Adler, bring the rest remaining in for interrogation." You said.
Everyone nodded their heads, and you made eye contact with Frank. He shot you a cheeky wink, and it made you blush. You looked away, as the pilot lowered you down onto the ground.
You all got out and began pushing to the building. You took out a thermal reader as you approached the building, to find where the point on the floor. The device pinged, and you put it away quickly.
"Set charges here, here, and here. We'll blow the floor and go from there. Get ready!" You exclaimed, reading your rifle.
Woods, Mason, and Lazar set the charges, and you all went and stood back to back in a circle. You were dead set on bringing Adler home at this point.
The charges blew, and you all fell through the floor, opening fire on all the enemies before you. Woods went wild, he reminded you of a child on Christmas. Classic Woods!
You ran for the hallway, where the interrogation room was. You quickly cleared it of anyone who was blocking your way. When you got to the door, you placed a breeching device smack dab in the middle.
The team ran quickly to your 6 and waited for the charge to blow.
"Adler should be right on the other side. Stitch isn't getting away this time, we'll make him pay." You spoke, venom practically dripping off the words you just said.
Woods gave a low whistle and a chuckle. He loved seeing the fiesty side of you, he was honestly head over heels for you!
The charges blew, and you were the first one to storm the room. You spotted Adler in the middle, tied to a chair pretty much lifeless. But, no sign of Stitch. He must have gotten away...
The team made quick work of every nonfriendly in the room, and you ran quickly to Adler, freeing him of his chains.
"Adler! Adler, can you hear me?" You panicked.
Adler released a low, painful groan. You took that as a yes, and started to secure him.
You reached for your comms to give Park the signal, you needed to get Adler out and quick.
"Y/N to Park, blow the roof! We need to get the board down here for Adler. Tell Belikov the Operation is a go and drop it down!" You shouted.
"Got it, inbound!" Park responded.
Frank, Mason, and Lazar kept guard as the roof blew into pieces. You shielded Adler from the blast and debris, and down came the board for him. You started to carefully lift him, until......
A gunshot rang in the room, and you turned to your left to see none other than Stitch himself charging at you at full pace. You practically threw Adler onto the board and pulled out your magnum.
"PULL HIM UP NOW!" You yelled. Thankfully, he was pulled up just in the nick of time.
Stitch tackled you to the floor, and you both got into a hand-to-hand fight. Meanwhile, the team was holding off some more rogue operatives that ambushed you.
You were able to fight Stitch back at his strength, but he grabbed your arm and twisted it. You screamed in pain as he held you down, pulling your gun on you.
"You must die here, you took Adler from us. Now, pay the price." He retched out.
You fell silent as you heard gunfire, and felt an unbearable, stinging pain through the middle of your chest.
You screamed, you cried and doubled over. You saw your blood pool over you. You felt like you couldn't breathe like you were choking.
Stitch held your head down with his boot and loaded another shot in the revolver.
"Goodbye, Y/N Y/L/N."
Before he could fire, he got tackled by Frank. Frank beat the absolute, living shit out of him. He knocked him unconscious and got up. His heart sank as he collapsed next to you.
"Stay with me Y/N, come on! Park, send down evac!!!!"
Frank scooped your limp body up with ease and carried you to evac.
"I've got you, Y/N hang on!" He gushed out, your blood soaking his armor. All he could do was run, run as fast as he can to the heli.

Imagination || t.oikawa ||
Blurb/Drabble/One shot? - Angst, I'm so sorry😭✋ Song fic with the song Imagination by Shawn Mendes
Warnings - ANGST ANGST ANGST, no mentions of cheating or death don't worry👌
Tumblr media
Oh, there she goes again
Every morning it's the same
You sighed heavily as you looked at your exam score. "My parents are going to kill me..." You groaned heavily, bumping your head onto your arm as you rest it there.
"[Y/n]~chan, don't worry! You did great!" Oikawa reassured you, patting your back lightly. "I know that but you know how my parents are." You sighed once again, looking up to look at Oikawa.
"Just cuddle me, please?" You pouted, giving him puppy eyes even though he would never reject your offer. "Okie dokie!" He exclaimed, gently getting you off of your chair and move you to the bed.
You walk on by my house
I wanna call out your name
"[Y/n]~chan! Let's bake cookies!" Oikawa suggested as he laid on top of you. "Eh? I'm bad at baking though." You stated. "So am I so we're even!" Oikawa chuckled and grabbed your hand, dragging you towards the kitchen.
"We don't even have ingredients!" You say. "We do! I bought some on my way here." Oikawa replies, pulling out the ingredients from the cabinet.
You sigh and rolled your eyes, a small smile on your face. You finally gave in and helped Oikawa set the ingredients together.
I wanna tell you how beautiful you are from where I'm standing
You got me thinking what we could be 'cause
As you were mixing some ingredients, Oikawa grabs a handful of flour and threw it at the side of your face. You stood there shocked while Oikawa was laughing at you.
"So you want to play dirty huh?" You grumbled, a mischievous smirk coming up on your face as you grabbed 3 eggs and threw it at Oikawa. Two landing on his eyes and one landing on his forehead.
Oikawa chuckled and wiped off the egg, throwing another handful of flour at you. Some getting in your mouth. You spat it out and wipe your face a little and tackled Oikawa, wrestling him.
You both laughed at this sweet and messy moment. Forgetting completely about the cookies. Oikawa chuckled and opened his eyes, admiring your beautiful laughing face, he doesn't care if you had flour on your face you're beautiful in anyway. He was lucky to have you.
You stopped laughing when you felt Oikawa's stare and you looked at him confused. "What?" You ask. Oikawa lifted up his hand and caressed your face, giving you a little peck on the cheek. "You're very beautiful, Little Cutie."
I keep craving, craving, you don't know it but it's true
Can't get my mouth to say the words they wanna say to you
"Happy Birthday, [Y/n]~chan!" Oikawa exclaimed as he threw confetti in your room. "Tooru!" You gasped, looking around at your birthday themed decorated bedroom and the cake on your desk.
"I tried my best to decorate your room, and I had troubles with baking the cake but hey! Anything to make you happy!" He stated, and handed you your gifts. "These are my gifts for you! I went a little overboard though." He sheepishly chuckled.
"[Y/n]~chan? Are you okay?" He asked in concern after seeing your teary eyes. His worried expression turned into a surprised one when you tackled him into a hug, sobbing into his chest.
"Thank you, Tooru." You whispered, barely audible. "You're welcome." He smiles genuinely at you and pecks your forehead. "I love you."
"I love you too."
This is typical love
Can't wait anymore, I won't wait
You groaned heavily as you walked into your room, plopping down on the bed. "Welcome home, [Y/n]~ch- EH?! What happened to you?!" Oikawa asks worriedly as he saw a huge cut on your leg and bruises were surrounding it.
"I just got chased by a damn dog and I hit a sharp wood by accident." You explained, sitting up and flexed your leg at him. Oikawa sighed and walked inside your bathroom, soon coming back with your emergency med kit.
"This will hurt." He warns before dabbing your wound with rubbing alcohol. You hissed and bit back a groan, trying to endure the pain. "Sorry." He whispers after he cleaned the wound. "It's fine. Just stings." You reassured.
After wrapping a bandage around the wound, he gave it a small peck and smiled at you. "That'll help heal faster." He says with a goofy grin. You chuckled and rolled your eyes playfully. "Thanks, Tooru."
"Anything for you!" He exclaims and grabbed a marker, beginning to write on the bandage. "What are you doing?" You ask, as you try to peek at what he was writing.
"Nothing! Just a reminder!" He says and showed you what he wrote on the bandage.
"Tooru x [Y/n]❤️"
I need to tell you how I feel when I see us together forever
"Tooru! I'm home!" You called out to your room with a bright smile on your face. But your smile dropped when you saw Oikawa sitting on your bed, looking gloomy. "Tooru? What's wrong?" You ask, sitting down beside him.
Oikawa looked at you with teary eyes and hugged you tightly, his head resting on your chest. "I only have until midnight before I disappear..." He mumbles, and you remembered that he was only here for 3 months before he goes back to his world permanently. "I don't want to go yet..." He cries.
"Tooru..." You cooed, running your hands through his hair and pecked his forehead. "I don't want you to go either but...you also have families and friends that cares for you. You don't wanna leave them behind, don't you?"
"I don't...but you're way important to me." Oikawa says, looking up at you and caressed your cheek. "I want to stay here with you forever..."
"Tooru, as much as I want you here...you can't stay...you're not real...you're just my imagination."
"Then let's spend our last times today." He suggests, his eyes full of pleads. You gave him a smile and nodded, pecking his forehead again. "Let's do it then."
In my dreams you're with me
We'll be everything I want us to be
8 pm hits. You and Oikawa were cuddling at the couch, watching a show. His anime rather. "Damn, I'm fabulous!" Oikawa exclaims and flips his hair flawlessly. "Yes you are, Tooru." You giggled as he gave you a goofy grin and cuddled back into your chest.
Then Kageyama, his rival, shows up. "Blech! He's a no no!" Oikawa says, sticking his tongue out at Kageyama while you just sweat dropped. "He's not that bad..." You mumble with a shrug.
"Eh?! How dare you break my heart!" Oikawa dramatically rests his wrist on his forehead, falling down on the other side of the couch. "Oh shush, you drama queen." You roll your eyes and laid down on top of Oikawa. "Let me heal your heart, majesty!" You played along, giving little pecks on his chest.
"S-Stop. That t-tickles." He says through his giggles as he tried to push you off. You laughed and moved to his face, peppering kisses all over before passionately kissing him on the lips.
You both pulled away and he grins at you. "My heart is fully healed. Thank you my little mistress." He cooed, pecking your jawline. You giggled and pulled away, sitting down beside him as you continued watching.
The show ended. You glanced at the time, seeing it was 10:30 pm. It was almost time. "Tooru, wanna go out to the park?" You ask. Oikawa smiled at you and says "Sure! It's gonna be quiet there anyway since it's night time."
You nodded and began changing into your outerwear. But just as you got rid of your t-shirt, you felt strong arms wrap around your waist, a chin laying on your exposed shoulder.
"So sexy~" Oikawa cooed, kissing your exposed shoulder. You blushed madly and hit him square in the face. "Pervert! You're supposed to be in the bathroom!" You exclaimed, covering your underwear with your hands.
"Sorry, thought you were done." Oikawa excused, looking at you innocently. You roll your eyes and quickly put on some jeans and a hoodie. "Let's go."
And from there, who knows?
Maybe this will be the night that we kiss for the first time
11:50 pm
You and Oikawa walked hand in hand at the park, admiring the night sky. Suddenly, Oikawa steps in front of you with a smile on his face. "[Y/n]~chan, may I dance with you?" He asks.
You blink at him before giggling. "Yes, you may." You reply. With that being said, you and Oikawa danced under the moonlight, not caring of there wasn't any music.
You both knew it was almost time for him to go. And you want to spend your last time at the park where you first met him. Where you first imagined him.
You both stared at each other's eyes, full of love and sadness. The smiles on both of your faces were enough to tell you, that you'll meet again soon.
11:59 pm
You both stopped dancing but still haven't broke eye contact. Oikawa leaned in and gave you his last kiss. You immediately kissed back, and before you knew it, tears started rolling down your cheeks. Same with Oikawa.
You both pulled away and hugged each other, Oikawa rocking you side to side gently. "I promise we'll meet again soon." He says, giving you one last peck on the forehead. "I love you, [Y/n]~chan."
And that's when you woke up with tears in your eyes. You glanced at the bandage on your leg, seeing the same message Oikawa wrote. Looking at that made you break down immediately.
Or is that just me and my imagination?
A/n: Fuck, fuck, fuck, FUCK! WHAT HAVE I DONE😭😭😭

Long road trip I just did for work killlllled me- could I get some poly lost boys seeing there SO after their so went in a long trip 💛
I hope you like this! 💕
--------------
You had passed the last motel you could possibly stop at for the night about an hour ago. You'd stopped there, only to get serious Norman Bates vibes of the place. You were beyond tired, but you'd rather drive a couple more hours and sleep in your own bed, than stay here in this old motel and risk the chance of becoming the next Marion Crane. Flashen of your body falling in the shower had already crossed your mind - and that was when you drove away from the parking lot, re-entering the highway.
You turned up the music, hoping it would keep you awake. It was loud, annoying - but it did it's job. You sighed as you finally saw the welcoming sign to Santa Carla. The boardwalk was brightening up the sky, and you were certain they were there. You'd missed them - how could you not? The five of you were practically glued together.
You'd gone on this roadtrip because one of your best friends had begged you to come along with them as they made a roadtrip from Santa Carla to New York. You'd hesitated, but when you told the boys about it, they told you to go. They said it would be fun, and that you would be more free than ever before. And they were right - of course they were. You could already see David's smirk - you knew he would never tell you "I told you so" since his smirk was efficient enough. Dwayne would just smile, wanting to hear everything that happened, while Paul would jokingly ask about gifts, and Marko would let you swear that you'd go on a roadtrip with them next.
You yawned as you stopped your car, sighing as you turned the engine and lights off. You'd begun to doze off, still in your car - when you heard something. A low, scratching noise. You froze, suddenly wide awake. There it was again, a creaking sound as if someone was walking on your roof. You frowned, slowly getting out of the car -
"You're back!" Paul tackled you to the ground, hugging you tightly. "Fucking hell babe, don't leave us alone for so long!"
You laughed, kissing him. "I missed you too," you stood up, hugging your other boys. "All of you. How- how did you know I was here?"
"We smelled you."
You pulled a face - as much as you knew and loved that they were vampires, they way David spoke of the 'human smell' was something that still grossed you out. You were waiting for him to go into detail, but he left it at that.
"I thought you wouldn't be back for another three days?"
"I- eh- I kind of may have gotten home sick," you blushed slightly, failing to ignore the warmth washing over you as Dwayne wrapped his arms around you.
"I'm glad you're home again, love," David smiled, giving you a soft kiss, before turning to the boys. "Marko, take Y/N's car to the cave, alright? We'll see you there."
Marko nodded, giving you a hug before taking the car keys from you. "Want to ride with me?"
Marko and you were the last to enter the cave. The barrels were lit, and it was surprisingly warm inside. Marko had been so kind to carry your two bags - refusing any help from you. He carefully put them down near the fountain, surprising you as he lifted you up. "You seem awfully tired."
You nodded in agreement, your head resting in his shoulder. "I am."
Marko grinned, giving you a soft kiss, before carrying you into your room. You smiled as you saw the others there, all laying in a half cuddle pile. As Marko put you down, you laid down between David and Dwayne, while Paul and Marko laid half atop of them, both cuddling your stomach. You smiled dreamily, getting a little more comfy.
"I'm glad to be home guys."
It was quiet for a while before Paul spoke up, a teasingness in his voice. "So, did you get us any gifts?"
"Tomorrow," you mumbled, already on the way of dozing off.
"So you did get us something?"
"Yeah."
"You didn't have to, sweet-," Dwayne brushed his hand through your hair, but stopped when you looked at him.
"I wanted to. You four always gift me things - now I want to do the same."
"Just not today," David chuckled, causing you to smile.
It was quiet for a while, and you began to doze off - but not before our felt each boy pressing a soft, loving kiss in your bare skin.

FIVE YEARS LATER...
"So...?" I spoke, looking at Hanji who had a massive grin smeared over her face. It wasn't creepy like her usual grin, it was pure ecstasy and excitement.
She had just come to my apartment (yes, it was now mine and Levi's since she moved in with Erwin) and she burst into my room, which obviously wasn't locked, with the screech of my name. Levi was only in his boxers as he towered over my naked form, so Hanji had immediately scurried out of our room and I grumbled curses as I pulled on a bathrobe. Levi stayed in our room and I went to the living room where Hanji was acting fidgety and was grinning.
And here we are now - me waiting for her to tell me what happened.
"... ERWIN AND I ARE GETTING MARRIED!"
"What?! Really?! Oh my gosh, I'm so happy for you!!" I squealed and brought her into a hug, squeezing her tightly. "Ahh, I’m actually so excited!!!"
"I never thought I could feel this happy. I actually burst into tears when he proposed. Oh my god, I'm so excited!"
"Tch. What's going on?" Levi grumbled, entering the room, wearing just trousers, which meant the bites and hickeys I gave him on his upper body were exposed. "I didn't expect to hear pigs squealing in the living room."
"Erwin proposed to Hanji!" I told him, ignoring his insult.
"Congrats. Can you leave now?" he said blankly with his arms crossed over his chest. Obviously, he wouldn't be happy if someone just barged into his home and interrupted something.
"Levi!" I scolded with a frown as Hanji continued to smile.
"No, no, it's fine. I'm sorry. Just wanted to tell you the big news. Also, you're going to be my maid of honour, of course."
"Yeah, okay. I'm so happy for you, Hanji!" I beamed at her and walked her to the door. "By the way, can I have your keys? I don't want you to barge in here whenever."
"Yes. Sorry."
"It's fine. I should just hurry up before Levi gets all grumpy."
"Okay. I'll see you soon, (Y/N)."
"I'll try to find a day where we can spend time together. But my job is taking up my time."
"Whenever you're free, don't worry. Anyway, bye."
"Bye, Hanji."
As soon as I locked the door, I was scooped up by Levi who carried me bridal style to our bedroom. I laughed softly as he gently dropped me onto the bed.
"You're getting it twice now," he growled quietly in a husky tone.
~/~
"What about this one?" Hanji asked.
"Aww!!! This one is the best! I love it, it suits you so much and I'm sure Erwin's going to love it!" I replied, clapping my hands a couple of times.
Hanji and I were out looking for a wedding dress. We visited many shops, she tried on several dresses but none of them seemed to be the perfect one. However, the one she was wearing now was something that made her look like the perfect bride and it caused tears to gather at the brim of my eyes. Though, I stopped them from falling and Hanji gave me a sympathetic smile, embracing me.
"What's wrong?" she inquired with a light laugh.
"... I'm just so happy for you. I can't believe my best friend's getting married."
She embraced me until I calmed down, even though no tears had fallen.
Once we decided that the dress she was currently wearing was the one, she got measured and pointed out things she wanted to be altered. The worker told us that she should expect the dress to be done and will be able to pick it up in a few months, which will be around one month before the wedding.
We left the shop and decided to get something to eat since we've been walking around all day with empty stomachs.
"After this, we'll go shopping for your dress," Hanji told me after taking a bite of her burger. Yeah, she should be trying to eat healthy to make sure that she can fit into her wedding dress on the day, but she deserved it after doing so much.
"Okay," I beamed.
~/~
I laid on the sofa, on my stomach; one hand was barely touching the floor and the other was holding my phone to my ear as I waited for Levi to finish cooking dinner.
"Wait, what?" I spoke, frowning and shifting to lay on my back.
"I'm sorry, (Y/N)."
"No, but, wait. I haven't seen you in over three months. And that was the only day I was able to make time for just us two. We barely see each other now and I miss you, Eren. Also, Hanji's wedding is next month so I'm going to be even busier because she'll need my help, and I'll still have work, so I'm obviously not going to have time."
"I know. And I miss you, too, princess. But--"
"Don't try making things better by calling me 'princess'. I understand that you have work as well, and you need to go with your boss on this business trip. But why can't you just squeeze in one day for us? That's all I want."
"... I'll try," he sighed. "I'm leaving this weekend and I'll be gone for a week. Maybe I can try to take a day off as soon as I come back. Is that okay?"
"Fine..."
"Stop sulking. Be happy that I'm trying."
A small smile snuck onto my lips, replacing my pout. "How did you even know I was sulking?"
"Are you really going to ask that even though we've been friends for nearly fifteen years?"
"Damn, time goes too fast," I mumbled, as if in thought. Levi came into sight, placing two plates of food on the coffee table in front of the sofa. He tapped my legs, wordlessly asking me to move them, so I did, deciding to sit up. "Anyway, I need to go. I better see you soon."
"You will," he replied, and I could hear the smile in his voice. "Bye, princess."
"Bye," I grinned before hanging up.
"And you say you're not cheating on me with that guy," Levi murmured.
"I'm not, idiot. And he's dating Petra. So just hush and eat your food."
"I doubt you smile like that when you're talking to me on the phone."
"Baby, you know I love you and would never cheat on you with anyone, or do anything to hurt you," I told him, pecking his cheek before picking up my plate of food. "... You're so cute when you're jealous."
"I'm not jealous. Just curious."
"Mhm." I playfully rolled my eyes. "By the way, have you taken a day off of work for Hanji's wedding?"
"Yeah, and the day after because I know I wouldn't be bothered to go into work."
"Yeah, I took off three days."
"Well, I know what we can do for the extra day we're both free," Levi smirked, facing me to kiss me but I dodged it, causing his expression to morph into a frown. "What are you doing?"
"I want to eat," I responded, causing him to roll his eyes (food can be such a cockblock).
When he put his plate down on the table, I did the same so I could tackle him. Once I dominated him, I smothered his face with kisses (being the lovey-dovey person I am) and he scrunched his face up, not enjoying it as much as I was. I giggled when I stopped and got off of him, deciding to finish off my food.
"You're an idiot," he muttered as he sat up.
"Thank you, my wonderful and kind boyfriend," I replied sarcastically.
~/~
I fixed Hanji's veil and straightened out her dress, making sure everything was fine. I then walked around her so I could see her face and my face broke into a wide grin, tears welling up for the like third time today. I was just so thrilled to see Hanji so ecstatic. And memories of when we were younger flashed through my mind, reminding when we were just immature and stupid kids that didn't know what love was. But now, she was getting married to the man she's loved for the past six years.
"(Y/N), please don't cry. You're honestly going to make me cry and we can't ruin our makeup."
I laughed softly. "Sorry. I'm fine. It's just emotional seeing your best friend getting married." I took a deep breath and didn't let the fluid spill. "I'm fine. Anyway, you look amazing. I love you and I'm happy for you."
"You look beautiful as well. I'm sure Levi will propose to you one day."
"Just the thought of that will make me faint. Okay, okay. I'm wasting your time so I'm going to go. I'll see you out there, okay?"
"Okay!" she grinned and I quickly hugged her before leaving.
I walked outside, where everyone was waiting, including Erwin who stood at the altar which was a floral arch; the flowers were a mix of white and light pink. The ceremony was being held outside on a grassy field which was part of the venue the reception was being held at. White chairs were set up on either side of a white aisle that led all the way to Erwin.
I shot the groom a reassuring smile as I made way to Levi who was at the front. I sat down next to him, which was the same row where Jean and Petra sat. Eren would sit here as well but Hanji had asked him to walk her down the aisle.
I gripped the raven's hand that rested on his lap and he gave it a small squeeze as I leaned my head on his shoulder, making sure not to ruin my hair.
People were conversing, music was playing, and everyone was waiting for the bride.
After a couple of minutes, Hanji had made her entrance, and I could see her excited expression through the veil. God, these tears won't spare me.
Hanji and Erwin had said their vows, exchanged rings and kisses as everyone celebrated for them.
Soon after, everyone was moving inside the venue but Levi had asked me to stay outside with him for a few minutes. I didn't question it, I just assumed that he didn't want to go inside yet and wanted to spend more time where there were no people. And I wanted the same because there was obviously no fresh air inside that hall.
I wandered up and down the aisle, glancing inside at all the people through the massive windows every now and then.
"... (Y/N)?" the grey-eyed male spoke softly as my back was towards him. I hummed and turned around to look at him, only to find him kneeling down in front of me, a miniature box in his grip.
No. It can't be. Is he actually going to propose? Damn, my eyes haven't watered so much in one day before.
He inhaled and closed his eyes before quietly exhaling and revealing his beautiful eyes again, locking them with mine. "I know I barely say it, but I love you, (Y/N). I love that you're a weirdo, pervert and idiot. I love your positive energy. I love how much of a sappy idiot you are. I love your face when you're sleeping, and now that I just said that aloud, I realise it sounds creepy as hell," he said, causing me to laugh under my breath as I let him continue.
"I just love you so much, (Y/N). No one can compete with you and I wouldn't be able to think of a world without you. I don't know what you did to me, but here I am, sounding like a sappy idiot. I don't know how, but you stole my heart when we first met, even though I had never experienced something like this before. Just every time I look at you, I know that deciding to spend the rest of my life with you is the right choice. So, (Y/N) (L/N)... will you marry me?"
"... Damn, I love you so much," I whispered before raising my voice a little and saying, "Of course, I'll marry you."
A smile, which seemed both relieved and happy, settled onto his face as he slipped the ring onto my finger before standing up. I cupped his face with both of my hands and briefly kissed him before embracing him, squeezing him tightly.
I pulled away from the hug, resting my arms on his shoulders as my fingers locked behind his neck, and his arms were still wound around my waist. I gave him a tender smile and he pecked my lips, a pretty smile widening on his lips. He was so handsome and I to this day, I can’t believe that I’m lucky enough to be with him.
We both decided to finally go inside, and as soon as we entered the hall, applauds sounded, causing us to come to a halt and glance at each other in confusion.
"CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!! AHHHH!!!!" Hanji screamed and ran towards us.
"Hanji, you're a bride, you can't be crazy like this. And you could've tripped because of your dress and heels," I mildly scolded her.
"Do you think I care about any of that?! You're engaged! I love both of you!"
"How do you even know?" Levi inquired.
"Do you not see those big-ass windows over there?" I motioned to them, where we could see the open space outside.
"Ohh, Shorty!! You look so happy and cute, and I feel happier for you two than when I got engaged!"
"Hanji, you know I always love to fangirl with you, but today's your wedding day, so it's about you. So, go enjoy yourself. Also, everyone's looking at us and I feel uncomfortable," I told her quietly.
"Oh, okay. Sorry. But I can't wait!"
"Yeah, I know, we’ll fangirl later. Now, go to your husband."
"Okay. Bye, (Y/N)! Bye, Shorty!"
I shook my head and sighed with a smile on my lips as we began to walk again, heading to the table that our friends sat at. I rolled my eyes when they all gave us goofy grins.
"I never knew you could be such a romantic person, Levi," Sasha teased.
"I'm not."
"Well, your proposal speech seemed longer than average," Conny pointed out.
"... Because--"
"He's such a soft baby, who loves to cuddle and loves to be loved. He's like an adorable puppy and--" I told them, knowing Levi was shooting me a glare when he cut me off.
"Oi, shut it, brat."
"He's not even denying it," Jean snickered as he tried to imagine a vulnerable and loving Levi.
"Tch. I was wrong, this was the worst decision I could make," the raven muttered.
"Haha, I know you don't mean that," I beamed at him, booping his nose with my index finger.
"I can't imagine him being like that," Eren smirked.
"Yeah, because it's not true."
"Whatever you say, Levi," Farlan taunted.
"I hate you, (Y/N)."
"It didn't seem like that a few minutes ago," Isabel grinned.
"Love you, too, my adorable, little baby."
"I'm older than you, idiot."
"It's just by a couple of months. And how can I not call you a baby when you pout like that?"
"I'm not pouting. Just shut up."
Once everyone got back to their own conversations, I smirked and leaned in closer to him to whisper, "Just wanted to let you know that you look so damn hot in that tux."
"... And you look beautiful," he mumbled back, only loud enough for me to hear.
The day went on, everyone ate, people danced, and everything was joyful.
It was such a fun day with so much happiness being spread everywhere. However, towards the end of the day, all I wanted to do was relax and lie down in bed with my beloved.
And that's what happened.
Levi and I were lying down in bed later that night. And since he had claimed that he wasn't a soft baby that loves to cuddle, it would've been surprising for our friends to see Levi clinging onto me like a child and burying his face in my chest as I ran my fingers through his silky hair.
"My love?"
"Hm?"
"... If I tell you something, you have to swear that you won't freak out or break up with me."
He removed his face from my chest and looked at me. "How bad is this confession? Is it bad enough for me to break up with you just after proposing to you?"
"Well, I just think you're going to freak out and not want to be around me anymore."
"I'm scared to know, but sure, tell me."
"... About eleven years ago, when Hanji and I were thirteen, we used to make up some scenarios that included specific people. We liked to fantasize about our 'dream guy'-- You know what, I'm not going to tell you."
"You can't just start a story and not finish it. I want to know about your dream guy."
I sighed heavily. "... He looked and acted just like you, Levi," I blurted out, afraid of his reaction. He didn't say anything, just stared at me as if waiting for me to give him more of an explanation. "... Hanji made up a scenario of us meeting in uni, extremely similar to what happened in real life, and, um, yeah... I guess that's all I wanted to tell you. Please don't freak out."
"How the hell do you expect me not to freak out?" he retorted in a slightly raised voice, shooting into a sitting position. "You're telling me you made me up? And in your perspective, I'm basically like supernatural?"
"No... not really. You’re obviously just a normal human being, so it could literally all be a coincidence because you were obviously born normally and not summoned by some kind of sorcery or witchcraft."
"... That's crazy..."
"I know. I was planning on not telling you, but I just had to."
"... You and Hanji are seriously the weirdest and craziest people I've met," he huffed as he laid back down.
"I know, Levi. And you knew that from the start."
"Yet, I still fell for you - an idiot who can't grow up."
"I love you, Levi," I hummed, resting my head on his chest. "You're so much better than what I expected my dream guy to be."

Mates In Hell
Part:2
Tumblr media
Heidi,Jane,Esme x reader (Romantic)
Alec x reader (platonic)
Cullens x reader (platonic)
Tags: @rexburn12
Part 1
An:Since this is a romantic pairing i aged Alec and jane up to 18 so their of legal age.
Also Idk why but i imagined the reader having a Russian accent while writing this XD it was strange but anyways I'm so sorry this took so long,i hope you like it!
}{~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~}{~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~}{
Esme stuck close to my side ever since we met, though i didn't mind one bit. After years of solitude i had finally met my beautiful mate,i was content.
At least...i should be..
No matter what i did i still felt this empty hole in my chest, and though Esme helped to fill it i still felt empty.I felt selfish in a way,i didn't want Esme to feel like she wasn't enough. So i tried to brush it off and continued on living with the cullens.
Easier said then done.
I jumped into attack mode when the sound of glass shattering caught my attention,Esme followed after me as i ran downstairs to the first floor of our cottage, flames about to ignite from deep within.A sigh of relief flew out as i saw that it was only alice, who had merely dropped a vase of flowers she was bringing over,"Is everything alright little one?" I asked, helping her keep steady.
"How..Riley biers..he's still alive...and he's coming with a new army of newborns." She muttered. Apparently he was bad if Esmes terrified expression was anything to go off of,"Who is this..Riley Biers?"
Esme took Alice's hand, leading her into the living room as i followed.Mentally preparing herself before explaining everything.
"He tried to kill you all? Lost and has the audacity to try and fight you again?Does he have no honor?" Alice nodded before looking to her mother who was currently pacing infront of the fireplace,"when will they be here by?" I asked. "Before sundown tomorrow. In the same field from last time." Alice looked down, trying to recall every detail of her vision.
"What do we do? We can't risk him getting to Renesmee." Esme said as i stood up and pulled her into my arms.Kissing the top of her head i stared deep into her golden eyes,"I won't let them get her,i promise to protect all of you. Because if they want you they'll have to go through me first, and I'll unleash hells wrath on them." I stated cupping her cheeks protectively.
With that settled we called the others for a family meeting and went to the cullens house, quickly filling them in.
"But the Volturi are coming to check on Renesmee tomorrow." Bella stated hugging her daughter close,"We'll have to deal with them after...i should have finished Riley off myself but i didn't realize we never burned his body." Edward stated rubbing his wifes shoulder.
"Theres no use dwelling on that now.But Edwards right, one problem at a time.Riley was a follower, merely the face of the army before,he had no real control. But he's had a while to prepare,we'll be outnumbered." Jasper added, the major peeking out a bit in his tone.
"Yes but you've never had a Hellhound fighting beside you." I said with a smirk,"I've fought worse enemies then a few puny newborns. My fire and strength will deal with them quickly." Esme giggled when i flexed my arm muscle before wrapping one around her shoulders, surrounding her in my warm embrace.
While the others discussed battle tactics she watched my profile,She knew her family would be safe with me around. But she couldn't hide the pinch inside of her,I had been so off,as if there was a chunk of myself that wasn't satisfied. She hoped it was nothing, since i had been alone for so long she assumed i was just getting antsy. She just hoped the battle will satisfy me enough.
}{~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~}{~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~}{
Heidi froze suddenly causing the twins to look at her in confusion,"Heidi what is it?" Alec asked seeing her dazed expression. "Don't you smell that? It's calming like lavender and as intoxicating as blood."
Jane sniffed the air, suddenly sharing Heidis expression."I do...where is that coming from..?"
Alec looked between the two with worry and confusion,"What are you guys talking about? I don't smell anything like that at all." Before he could even finish the two were already speeding off deeper into the forest,he huffed before following.
When the three guards finally stopped they realized they had stepped into the middle of a battle, newborns were being torn apart left and right by the cullens, the wolf pack and..a (P/n) on fire?
"Aro never mentioned another newborn army..where did they come from?" Alec asked watching as a newborn was ripped to shreds by one of the wolves.
As the two women watched they realized the person on fire was the source of the intoxicating smell.
They had to get closer.
}{~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~}{~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~}{
Standing over Riley Biers i watched as he cowered down at my intimidating appearance, right as i was about to go for the kill the wind picked up.Sniffing the air my pupils dilated.
This familiar scent...where had i smelt it before?
Ahh that's right..the same scent that had flooded my senses when i first met Esme.
Turning around i saw two beautiful women and a confused man watching me,the womens red eyes widened slightly with parted lips.
}{~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~}{~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~}{
As if under Zafrina's power their world suddenly changed around them.
Aro sat with his usual melicious grin, an evil glint in his eyes at the presence of the incoming figure.
"Is everything ready?" Aro asked raising a brow.
"Yes Master, training has gone wonderfully, their ready for the real thing." The ravenhaired king clasped his hands together.
"Wonderful,I'm counting on you...Riley."
Said man nodded,"But master, didn't you send the witch twins and Heidi to check on the hybrid?"
Aro tilted his head, clasping his hands together,"I trust that you'll dispose of them for me,If you succeed then you'll be replacing them." He said with a bastardly grin and an echoing chuckle.
That was the last thing they heard as the world returned to the present.
}{~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~}{~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~}{
The three glanced at eachother with the same hurt expression,"He truly didn't care? Was he so ready to get rid of us?" Jane growled now glaring at Riley tempted to use her gift.
Heidi crossed her arms,"I should have seen this coming,no wonder he was so eager to send us on this mission..He wanted to kill us." Alec looked down,"He had planned this all along, and we played right into his trap.."
Esme watched them sadly, knowing immediately who they were talking about. But a sudden movement caught her attention, she gasped and yelled to her distracted mate.
"(Y/N)! LOOK OUT!"
Right as i turned back to Riley a newborn had tackled me off,As we rolled and tossled for dominance trying to find a leverage over the other Riley stood up glaring with a smirk at the Volturi guards."I'd say i pity you and apologize, but i really don't care." The three got into a fighting stance but Esme was quick to speed over and push the three behind her,"Stay away from them Riley." She hissed,he chuckled and walked closer"Or what? You're just the weak mother of the cullens right? You can't hurt me." She glanced past him for a moment, before looking at him with a smile.
"You're right,I might not be able to....but i know who can." Right as he went to attack a clawed hand ripped through his chest. The fire burned his marble skin causing him to scream in agony.
I roared as i tore him in half, throwing his upper half away from his lower half.My flames from hell were quick to turn him to ash,the wind blew his ashes away, proving he wasn't going to hurt anyone ever again.
"Are you all alright?" Esme asked quickly running to my side as i fell to my knees,my fire dispersing."I am alright my love, merely overwhelmed with my emotions." I huffed looking over at the two woman behind her.
Jane and Heidis red eyes were enchanting,a small smile rested on their lips,"You two,you are my mates?"
Esmes eyes widened,"What? I..I didn't realize you could have more than one? How is this possible?" I chuckled as she helped me up,"I am a hellhound,i stopped questioning why and how a long time ago." Walking over to them with a wide grin i held out my arms, chuckling when they ran into them.
"This is it Esme,All three of you together is what filled the whole in my heart!" She watched us for a moment before smiling, walking into the hug.
"I always thought I'd be destined to never find my mate,my gift never made anyones feelings for me anything more than lust." Heidi said burying her beautiful face in my neck. Jane rubbed her cheek into my chest, finally relishing in the touch of someone other than her brother. He was the only one to ever hug her.
"I suppose we'll need a bigger cottage now to fit all four of us." Esme said with a smile.
Janes head shot up,"Wait, what about my brother." She turned back to Alec who had a sad smile on his face,"It is alright sister, you have waited so long to find la tua anima gemella(your soulmate).I will be fine."
She looked up at me sadly,With a sigh i nodded,"I wouldn't dream of splitting siblings apart,he may live with us as well." She smiled and nearly toppled me over in a hug, laughing i lifted her and heidi up,esme brought alec over with a motherly smile.
She should feel jealous, but as she watched us,seeing the happy smiles on all of our faces made her realize something.
After years of waiting to finally find her mate, she finally found me,and now we were building a family of our own.
And so long as she was 'alive',nothing was going to tear us apart, she knew I'd make sure of it.

All Stars Verse - Hologram Boy
Synopsis : The coaches of #thatPOWER are angry at Panda for turning P2 into a hologram
Word count : 2803
Notes : Can y'all guess what the title is referencing? Please guess what the title is referencing
Tumblr media
"We did it, we did it! We did it, yay!" The coaches sing and dance together in the new galaxy, after Panda traveled to all the planets and achieved the All Stars.
But just as they started to party, a spaceship arrived and out came three people, all with grey skin and white hair, wearing different outfits consisting of only red and black.
"YOU!" The shortest one pointed angrily at Panda. "You killed our friend!"
"He's not dead, but he is hurt. And trapped," the muscly guy said.
"Hey, I know these guys!" Starships mentions excitedly. "That Power, right?  Or #thatPOWER, I guess. But don't you guys have four? Where's P2?"
"Here," the P3 drops a tiny machine, and a hologram of P2 appears.
"Oh. Your hair has gotten...longer. And darker."
"Yeah, well as I was saying, PANDA MURDERED HIM!" P1 yells angrily and attempts to tackle Panda, but Reindeer shields them.
"No, Panda would never do such a thing! They're too sweet and kind to! You must be confusing them with some other panda!"
P4 walks forward and pushes her friend back, but turns around to glare at them. "Impossible, there are no other pandas here," she explains. "Number 2 is not dead," Someone laughs, "he cannot die. However, he is permanently trapped as a hologram because of Panda's actions, and according to him, Panda was constantly taunting and harassing him just before that. Isn't that right?" P2 nods.
"Quiet as ever, huh?" Starships tries to lean on him, but passes through and falls.
"Then it must have been an accident!" Reindeer continues to defend their friend. The two had been close since childhood. One would know that if one played Kids Mode.
SS1, interested in whatever argument is happening, eats popcorn and shares it with the other coaches. "You know, *munch* Panda harassing some rando *munch* is honestly not that *munch* out of character for him." SS2 grabs a handful. "Agreed."
ME4 fixes his glasses, "Wait, I think I know what's happening here. Battle Mode, I'm guessing. Never got a chance on one of those."
"What's Battle Mode?" Rasputin's coach scratches his beard.
Out of nowhere, Starships slides in to chime in the conversation. "A mode where coaches from two different songs go head to head in a dance battle! Only appeared in two games though, and I never got to join one," she pouts.
Back to the argument, Reindeer gives up trying to defend Panda and is instead resorting to insulting P2. "He's just a robot! Can't he be replaced?!" the power coaches and BFT gasp.
P1 is now being restrained by P3 and P4 as she tries to attack Reindeer now. "I'm going to kill both of you!"
"No need to waste your energy on those lowlives, Number 1. We just need to get money from them so we can make a time machine and change the events of the battle, making it so that Number 2 wins instead."
Hearing that, HH2 gets a bright idea.
"We don't need to go that far, P4. We just want them to apologize-What do you mean no, Two?! Don't tell me you want revenge too?!
"Psst, P1," HH2 whispers to her friend. "Don't we have a friend with a time machine?"
"You mean Goddess? Does she count as our friend?" he replies before getting elbowed by HH4, who enters their talk uninvited. "I think she means the Backstreet Wannabes." "I mean, Goddess could probably time travel-" "No one asked, P3!"
"BE QUIET!" HH2 shouted loud enough for everyone to hear.
"Ooh," SS1 directs his attention to her.
"So, #thatPower...I think I may know the ones to help you. Though, we have to fly there since...they're on the other galaxy."
"Sure! We appreciate any help! Even though I'm not sure what kind of help these people you're saying will offer," P3 agrees immediately.
P4 is a bit more skeptical. "How do we know you aren't lying to us? We aren't even sure what help we're getting."
"Some people with a time machine," HH1 tells them. "Like what you said earlier. I'm not sure who P2 is talking about though."
P1 finally stopped being filled with rage, and it was replaced with joy. "You actually have a time machine?! Oh, how I long to return to my time!"
The other coaches are understandably confused over her statement. P3 tells them to shrug it off, "Don't mind her, she gets like that. We're not sure why."
"So what about it, Two? Wanna time travel so you don't get stuck as a hologram anymore?" The hologram nods, grinning from ear to ear. "Great!" P3 turns the projector off and keeps it in his pocket.
"P3, I will murder you, and then dismember you, and feed you to tigers." "We-we don't have tigers. Also your arms are twigs." "Don't you act smart with me!"
"Chill 4, it's just a tiny mistake, NBD," the blonde woman remarks without looking away from her phone. "P1 hit my hand too, but you don't see me threatening him."
"Who the fuck actually says NBD-Oh uh, sorry for that."
"Yeah, but he didn't hit it hard enough that you punch yourself in the face enough to hurt!"
"How did that even happen? Like I said, your arms are twigs-" "Do NOT!"
Just as the two were about to attack each other, they heard the faint sound of an aircraft.
"Hey, I'm trying to strangle someone! Can you not-" she stops her sentence when she sees a spaceship getting closer to the four.
"Get cover!" "Calm down First, it's probably just going to pass by us like airplanes." "No, P2, it's actually gonna fall on us!" he points at the ship landing fast. "Oh," she's pulled to safety by him, where their colour scheme changes.
It stayed at a steady pace going down, but stopped just 100 meters off the ground and slowly went straight down.
"Seriously? After all that drama?" "Hey, be grateful we're safe!"
When it finally finished landing, four familiar faces and four unfamiliar faces walked out.
"Hey look, it's High Hopes! And some Homestuck cosplayers!" the woman jumps back out from their hiding spot, which made her hair turn back to blonde. "That's not-whatever, I'm tired of your dumb ass."
"Dirty Bit Gang!" HH4 runs to hug DB2.
"Wait, they have a time machine?!" HH3 never knew that fact. If he did, he would've begged to use it to appear earlier in more songs.
"Well duh, their song is called The Time, and one of us should definitely have a time machine."
"So I see you guys have a spaceship. I assume you guys are here to use our time machine, but who are they?" DB1 asks.
"Hi, I'm the Starships coach! Love your outfits, but feel like the colours could be better. These are coaches from #thatPOWER, but one member is kinda stuck right now-"
"I hope you don't mind if we borrow it for a while," P3 drops the projector and P2 sighs quietly in relief.
DB4 stops her punch to DB3 midway to look at P2. "Uh, is he okay?"
"That's the reason we're here. Number 2-" "PFFFFT!" "Number 2, is stuck as a hologram and we have no way of transferring his AI to a body so we were hoping that we can travel to the past to change the course of the battle that made him this way in the first place."
"Cool," DB1 responds, not catching any of that. "Say, why do you need eight people plus a hologram to do that?"
HH2 raised a finger as if to answer him, but put it on her chin instead. "I'm-I'm not sure."
"C'mon, it's easy!" HH1 tries his best to explain. "There's That Power, the ones who want to go to the past, Starships, the representative of 2014, We're here to-wait, P2 was their guide, I'm not sure why the rest of us are here."
"Okayyy, sure, we'll do that, but do you have a plan?"
Silence. "Yeah, we didn't think of that."
"Of course you didn't," frustration was evident in his voice. "Fine, follow me."
DB3 and DB4 continued to fight, while the eight were led to a dark room with a massive TV screen, and a few couches. There was a table with a flower pot on it, with some cookies and candy beside it.
"So, it would be dangerous to just alter the past with no plans and no actual clue on what happened. That's why, we're going to watch it, then decide what to do," the bearded man takes the remote next to the screen and switches to different channels. "2014, it's a battle, correct?"
The screen switched to a scene on a stage with multiple monitors and the letters VS in the middle, displaying a dance floor with some other items beside it such as a chair. Panda rushed in and stood there while P2 slowly approached them, C'mon by Kesha playing in the background. When P2 was close enough, Panda started circling around him, then went back to their position, but not before blowing a kiss at the robot, which he moved his head to avoid.
"Oh, Panda blew a kiss at you? That should be a reminder," HH4 notes.
"What a shame," HH3 comments.
They began dancing, with Panda moving their arms towards their chest and P2 doing robotic movements. That was until just before the first pre-chorus started where P2's movements look like he was being controlled by a puppeteer, then they became more "free".
"Haha!" Starships laugh. "Seeing such a serious face on a cute dance move is so-" As past Panda and P2 turned to each other, the lyrics sang at the part made her stop. "Oh no. Oh no no no no. Oh god no."
"Is she okay?" DB2's question had a worried tone. "She's fine. Probably," HH2 assures.
"There are 2 images burned into my mind, and I don't like either of them!"
The rest ignore her dramatics and continue watching the battle. The chorus played, with the two performing an all too common move, putting your elbow on your raised leg, but coupled with some pushing each other to the side in between. When the singer sang the song's title repeatedly, Panda is seen establishing dominance over P2.
"Uhh," P3's braincells, or whatever robots have, seemed to have been fried from just watching the battle. "How are you losing to a panda?!" P2 shrugs.
The beginning of the final round consisted of Panda taunting P2, and P2 attempting to damage Panda but to no avail. P2 looked like he was about to faint right before the chorus started again, with them repeating the same moves earlier. The battle finally ended, in which Panda brings out a button and presses it, turning P2 into a hologram while they laugh.
"Okay, that was way too far now that I've seen it! I'm going to join the others in killing them-"
"Yo, calm down. We watched this to help you think of a plan, remember? While it was very weird to watch, we can decide what to do now, or in the past," DB1 brought out a piece of paper and puts it on the table. "Write your plan of action there, then I'll check over it to make sure it's nothing drastic."
P4 grabs the paper and begins writing on it with her built-in pen. "What we want to do is to make it so that P2 wins this fight. I think that can be easily done if we change the music."
"But won't Panda just press the button either way?" HH1 has a solid question.
"Hmm, then I guess we'll just destroy it."
"Wait, if we're going to destroy it anyways, what's the point in changing the song?" HH3 is surprisingly thinking a bit smarter now.
"Oh, that one is to save his honor. And to destroy Panda's-!" P1 clenches her fist tight.
"Riiight. Right. Right."
"Yes, but how are we doing that? Won't doing that alter a whole lot of events now since he's the mascot?" P3 tries to think deeply.
"Not really," DB1 answers, having a braincell for once. "Since you're from the same game, and you don't have any future appearances besides that one mashup, I think you guys would be fine."
"That's it, yes? Number 2's battle wasn't quite complicated, so maybe that's enough. Sir?"
DB1 takes the paper from P4, and looks it over. "Goddammit why am I reading with shades-yeah, that's okay I guess."
"Great, now we can go!" P1 is ecstatic to finally be able to return her friend back to his original state. So is the rest, even if P4 doesn't show it.
"Well, I guess that's our queue to leave. Goodbye and your welcome!" HH2 grabs her friends to drag them home.
"Wait, but didn't you go by spaceship?" P3 doesn't know how they would even return.
"Now worries, this is our planet, we'll teleport home!" "We can teleport?!" "HAVE YOU NOT NOTICED THIS WHOLE TIME-"
"What about...her?" P4 looks down on Starships, who was still freaking out.
"Well, since she's the 2014 rep, we have to get her gloves if you want to travel there and back-" "I CAN'T TRAVEL TO MY TIME???" "-Would you mind…?"
Starships takes it off and throws it at the pink-haired woman. "Just, just take it. Heck, keep it."
"Kay."
"Alright, follow me again," he gestures.
This time, a room that looks like it came from a certain sci-fi franchise involving space travel, but not time travel for some reason.
"Ight, just stand there," DB1 points at a platform," and you'll be fine. Also, here are the gloves, just wear it when you're done."
"Thanks a lot for helping us," P3 did a polite bow, "we're very grateful." He elbows the others to follow.
"No probs, we do this all the time, just be mindful that there are some side effects of time travel-" "Excuse me-?!" "But they're harmless! Have fun!" And the three robots plus hologram go back in time.
They arrived at a weird green space. There was a door quite far away, and would take a while to walk to. They felt something weird, and looked at their hands and each other to realize that they became green too. Except for P2.
"Changing colours is not what I expected but…" P4 spins her hand around.
"Maybe this could be useful, since we blend in with everything else," P3 compares his shade to the space.
They see Panda coming out of nowhere, heading to the door. Without speaking, they all immediately followed them. "Number 1, go grab the button. Number 3, get there and change the music." "Aye aye, 4."
P1 gets on the floor and crawls to the panda, P3 rushes to the door, and P4 carries P2's projector, following them from a distance.
The short woman finds a pocket on Panda's body and tries to find the button. Instead, there was a tophat, a tennis racket, a trumpet and a whole lot of other things that should not be able to fit there. Somehow, Panda didn't notice any of that. She finally got her hands on the button, and immediately destroyed it.
The sound alerts Panda, causing them to look around, but not finding anyone since they all blend in and P4 had turned off the projector, and shrugs it off. P3 uses that minor distraction to enter through the door.
Immediately after passing through, his skin changed again, now blending into the room which was where the battle took place. Past P2, stood there, already arrived, but didn't take notice of P3, who climbed the ceiling and found the sound system. He used it and changed the settings so #thatPOWER was gonna play instead of C'mon.
When Panda comes in to start the fight, with the remaining two sneaking in, the course of it had already been decided. Past P2 had started attacking them and charging himself up. The fight continued on with P2 having an advantage, and at the end when P2 won, Panda jumped off, leaving the room while P2 laughs then leaves from the other exit. In that moment, the room turned to a black space, everyone turning back to normal, P2's projector disappeared, and a blended in silhouette of him was there.
"P2, you're back!" P1 goes to hug him. P2 clearly had been confused by what she said, but accepted it anyways. P3 and even P4, who isn't very physically affectionate, joins in the hug.  "We missed being able to actually touch you, buddy. Now I don't have to kneel down just to fistbump someone." "HEY!"
"I guess we can go home now," P4 puts on the glove and they teleported back to their starting point.

So as you can read, there's like zero logic here, but I'm proud of.it cause it's my longest one-shot!

For 60 years

Summary: Legolas x reader. You and Legolas have been best friends since the day you met when you travelled with Bilbo, Gandalf and the dwarves.
Warnings: None
Masterlist
You had joined the fellowship, Legolas was of course both happy and unhappy you joined.
Happy, you were with him. He can make sure you don't get hurt.
Unhappy, he was afraid you were going to get hurt.
Nevertheless you ignored his protests and went with them.
You had stopped and Boromir was training Merry and Pippin to fight with a sword which ended in them tackling him to the ground earning a cheerful chuckle from everyone.
Gimli was bragging about how many battles he had fought in and how skilled he was. To be honest you were getting fed up and a little irritated.
Of course you loved Gimli as a friend, he was quite a funny dwarf but it's THAT time of the month.
"You know dwarf I've lived longer than you times 6. I've killed more than you have in your lifetime and than you ever will but do you see me bragging about it to everyone? No." You snap.
Gimli throws his head back as he chortles, "I atleast don't make up false stories, lass. You can't even lift a sword. I could put you down in a split second."
This time it's Legolas' turn to laugh, "You have met her right?"
"How about a little wager? Boromir is an excellent fighter. If she can beat him I owe you a sack of gold. He beats her, you owe me a sack of gold." Gimli says.
"You're on." Legolas smirks.
You give Legolas a look, "Yes I will share the gold with you." He says and you smile.
You walk over to Boromir, "I'll go easy on you." He says and you smirk.
He takes the first swing. You duck and swipe his feet out from under him.
He lands on his back, you knock his sword into the air, you catch it and hold both swords to his neck.
"I underestimated you." Boromir smirks in a way that gives you chills.
Not the good type.
You smirk and flip the sword into the air and you turn around. The sword lands right next to Boromir's head.
You sit back down next to Legolas who hands you half of the coins.
"Thank you." You smile looking at him.
"No problem." Legolas smiles looking at you, and just behind his head you see Gandalf handing Boromir a few coins who puts it in a little sack.
"What are you two betting?" You ask making Legolas look at them.
"Nothing." Gandalf says. You shrug it off thinking it's not important.
"Let's get going. I think we're well rested." Frodo says.
You walk over to your horse and mount it. You trudge off behind Gandalf.
"Those were quite some moves back there." Boromir says a while later walking next to you.
"Oh thank you." You say in a monotone.
"You know, if I'm honest I didn't think a class as beautiful as you could fight that well." He says, you internally cringe.
"Oh uh." You stutter unsure of what to say, of course you know what you want to say but you don't want to go that far.
You turn around and see Legolas glaring at the back of Boromir's head.
"So my lady, are you spoken for or not?" Boromir says making you look back at him.
"My personal life has absolutely nothing to do with you. I'm not interested in an arrogant man who only seeks one thing." You say.
"You are mistaken, you truly are beautiful but I see more than just that I-" you cut him off.
"I do not care what you see. I am smart enough to see right through your lies. Men like you only seek one thing and you cannot find that here. If you were smart enough you would move from my side." You snap.
Boromir groans and then moves forward, you smirk.
Legolas walks next to you and holds up his hand, you smile and give him a high five.
"That's my best friend." He says and your heart sinks.
Yes, you have feelings for Legolas, you have had them for 60 years. You doubt he has any for you.
As those words left Legolas' mouth, he felt his chest tighten. He didn't want to say those words, he has loved you for 60 years and never got the guts to tell you. He doubts you feel the same for him.
-
"Finally a peaceful night's sleep," Merry says as he lays down in his spot.
"These woods are well protected so you will sleep peacefully." Gandalf says.
(I know he isnt in this scene but this is not the movie nor the books so I dont have to follow the original storyline.)
"As if that's going to make me feel better." You mumble under your breath.
"Are you going to sleep?" Sam asks you as he sees you sitting on a big rock.
"I will be fine Mr. Gamgee, please sleep. You need it." You say with a small smile.
Sam smiles slightly and then lays down.
"You need it too." Legolas whispers trying not to disturb the others.
"I don't need sleep." You whisper back.
"Yes you do, you haven't slept for days." He whispers.
You sigh and grab his hand leading him further away. You sit down leaning against a tree stump with Legolas towering over you.
"I can manage without sleep." You say.
"Yes you do." He says and sits down next to you.
"I'll keep watch, you go to sleep." You say.
"I won't go to sleep until you do, and there is no need to keep watch. This place is safe." He says looking at you.
You ignore him and look at you twiddling fingers. Legolas sighs, "Fine, I'll help you keep watch."
"I don't need help and you need rest." You say.
(I'm seriously getting tired just writing this and it's like 3pm rn)
"You're my best friend I don-" He gets cut off by you standing up and walking away, "Where are you going?"
"Don't follow me."
---
"Come on, Legolas just give her time."
"Give her time she hasn't spoken to me for a whole week! I tried talking to her but she just walked away." Legolas exclaims.
"Maybe you just said something wrong." Pippin says.
"I don't know what I said. I didn't even finish my sentence before she stormed off." Legolas says.
"What did you say?" Merry asks.
"She was arguing about me not going to sleep and deciding to stay awake with her. I told her she was my best friend-" Legolas was cut off by everyone slightly wincing.
"Oh ouch. That's probably why." Gimli says.
"Because I told her she was my best friend?" Legolas asks confused.
"Yes, have you seen how she looks at you?" Aragorn asks.
"She looks at me no differently than I look at her."
"Exactly, you two are so smitten with each other. You can't keep your eyes off her." Gandalf says.
Before anyone could say anything else Legolas storms away looking for you.
-
You stare out at the land before you and sigh deeply. "I can't believe I was so stupid! Fell in love with my best friend. Of course he only sees me as a friend." You groan out loud.
"I don't see you as a friend." A voice says startling you. You turn to see Legolas.
You quickly try to walk away but he grabs your wrist and pins you to the wall.
"No, don't walk away." He says, "Please don't go."
"What is it you want?" You ask.
"I wanted to talk to you. I've been trying to this past week but you kept walking away." Legolas says.
"I didnt want to talk to you." You say.
"Why?" He asks.
"I didn't want to talk to you knowing you see me just as a friend. I love you, have for the past 60 years! And I just-" you were cut off by a pair of lips on yours.
You soon realise it's Legolas'. Without hesitation you respond immediately, your lips move in sync and both your hands travel to his hair.
His hands leave your wrists and he plants them on your waist. He pulls you closer, deepening the kiss.
The kiss ends and you two are left staring in each other's eyes. "You don't know how long I've waited to do that." Legolas says.
"I'm guessing just as long as I have, so 60 years." You say and smile.
Legolas chuckles, "Let's go back inside. The others are probably wondering where we are." He says and intertwines your fingers.
"Mhmm, I wonder who's going to win the bet." You say.
"What bet?" He asks.
"A few weeks ago I saw Gandalf and Gimli place coins into a sack so I assume they made a bet on us." You say.
"We'll see now won't we." Legolas says. "I'm not ready to go back yet, let's dance." You say and drag him to the dance floor.
Your arm wrap around his neck and his wrap around your waist.
"Look!" Merry points towards you and Legolas.
"My- they actually did it." Aragorn says.
"After 60 years." Gandalf says and then holds his hand out to Gimli.
"What did you bet?" Sam asks. "I said he they would get together before Aragorn is crowned and he said after." Gandalf says.
"Bloody, stupid, idiot." Gimli rambles on earning a laugh from everyone else.
"They look so happy." Frodo says.
"They do." Pippin says.
"I love you." You say to Legolas.
"I love you too." He smiles and leans in to kiss you.

"I'm not sure my wife would like that. Maybe my next wife." Murray's voice boomed on the stage.
Roaring of laughter came from the audience.
"You should see our next guest coming up. I'm pretty sure this guy could use a doctor." Murray commented.
"Oh? Does he have sexual problems?" Dr. Sally asked.
"I think he's got a lot of problems. Let's show that clip one last time." Murray said.
Arthur's clip played.
The audience ate it up, listening to Arthur's laughter in the clip.
Sandy rolled her eyes, looking over at Arthur, who was staring intently at the curtains.
Sandy stood back from the curtains, carefully watching Arthur's movements. The tech guys next to Arthur looked uncomfortable, and tried shuffling away.
"You might've seen that clip of our next guest. Now, before he comes out, I just wanted to say that we're all heartbroken about what's going on in the city tonight, but this is how he wanted to come out. I honestly believe we could all use a good laugh. So, please welcome Joker."
As the jazz band started, the curtains fell back, revealing Arthur. Arthur came onstage, dancing and twirling around.
Sandy watched from backstage. She looked over by the curtain, seeing Arthur's still lit cigarette. Sandy picked it up, taking a small puff, before distinguishing it.
Arthur shook Murray's hand, then headed over to Dr. Sally, who was just expecting a hug. He cupped Dr. Sally cheeks and kissed her passionately.
Sandy rolled her eyes, crossing her arms backstage.
Whistles and ahhs came from the audience.
Dr. Sally had a very shocked look on her face, as she sat back down.
"That was quite the entrance." Murray commented.
Arthur looked around at the scenery of it all.
Murray looked at Arthur, raising a comedic eyebrow. "You ok?"
"Yeah, this is exactly how I imagined it." Arthur replied.
"Well, that makes one of us." Murray joked.
Laughter and applause came from the audience.
Sandy continued watching from a small television backstage.
"So, could you tell us about this look? You said when we spoke earlier that this wasn't a political statement." Murray said, pointing out his makeup.
"That's right, Murray. I'm not political. I'm just trying to make people laugh." Arthur looked over to the audience, not one of them chuckling.
Sandy cracked a smile backstage.
"And how's that going for you?" Murray commented, again.
The audience once again roared with laughter.
Sandy's cracked smile turned into an angry frown.
Arthur mocked the audience's laughter with his own demented cackle.
"Tell us about your lady friend backstage. She's also dressed as apart of your act. Do you two got a thing going on?" Murray asked.
Sandy paused. Her eyebrows furrowed at the TV. She crossed her arms
Arthur smirked. "It's a little more than 'a thing'. She's my sweetheart. My dear, Sandy."
Awws and oohs came from the audience.
Murray laughed. "Ha. I've heard that one before."
The audience howled with laughter.
Sandy glared hard at the television. She wasn't laughing one bit. All of Murray's jokes were stale and just blatantly mean to Arthur.
"So you tell us you're a comedian. Got any new material? Wanna tell us a joke?" Murray asked, not sounding too pleasant.
The audience applauded.
"Yeah? Okay." Arthur took out his joke book.
"He's gotta book full of jokes." Murray commented.
Arthur flipped a few pages into his notebook.
Arthur paused for a second.
"Take your time. You got all night." Murray laughed.
"Okay, okay. Here's one, knock knock." Arthur said.
"And you had to look that up." Murray commented.
The audience laughed.
Sandy couldn't take the stress. She bit her thumb. She wanted to bash Murray's skull in, see if he was still joking about that.
"I wanna get it right." Arthur's voice was somber.
Sandy couldn't look. She turned her head away from the television.
"Knock, knock." Arthur repeated.
"Who's there?" Murray replied.
"It's the police, ma'am. Your son's been hit by a drunk driver. He's dead." Arthur chuckled.
A loud groan came from the audience.
Sandy laughed at Arthur's edgy joke. Two of the tech guys stared strangely at her. She smiled, watching the television.
"No, no, no. We do not joke about that." Dr. Sally scolded.
"Yeah, that's not funny, Arthur." Murray said.
Arthur chuckled, looking down. "Yeah, I'm sorry. It's just been a rough few weeks. Ever since I..."
Arthur trailed off. His eyes wandered over the audience.
"Ever since I killed those three wallstreet guys." Arthur said, quietly.
Murray looked around at the audience. "Okay, I'm waiting for the the punchline."
"There is no punchline. It's not a joke." Arthur's voice was monotonous. His eyes swelled up with sadness.
A loud gasp washed over the audience.
Sandy closed her eyes, taking a deep sigh. She couldn't help, but feel remorse in this moment. Remorse for Arthur. The tech guys stared at the TV in shock.
Murray gave Arthur a disgusted glare. "You're serious, aren't you? You're telling us you killed those three young men on the subway?"
"Mmhmm." Arthur mumbled.
Murray raised his eyebrow. "And why should we believe you?"
Arthur smirked, shrugging. "Got nothing left to lose. Nothing can hurt me anymore."
Arthur paused for a moment, before chuckling. "My life is nothing but a comedy."
Loud booes came from the audience.
Sandy smirked.
Murray shook his head. "So let me get this straight. You think killing those guys is funny?"
Arthur smacked his lips. "I do, and I'm tired of pretending it's not. Comedy is subjective, Murray. Isn't that what they say? All of you, the system that knows so much. You decide what's right or wrong. The same way you what's funny or not."
More booes and groans came from the audience.
Murray stuttered. "I think I might understand that you did this to start a movement, to become a symbol."
Arthur rolled his eyes. "Come on, MurRay. Do I look like the kind of clown that could start a movement? I killed those guys because they were awful. Everybody is awful these days. It's enough to make anyone crazy."
Murray leaned back in his chair. "So, that's it you're crazy? That's your defense for killing three young men."
Arthur smirked, widely. "No. They couldn't carry a tomb to save their lives."
Sandy laughed loudly from backstage. The two tech guys were glued to the screen, cautious of the lady in front of them.
Arthur smiled, hearing Sandy's laughter from backstage.
More booes and groans followed the audience.
Arthur dramatically rolled his eyes. "Oh, why are people so upset about these guys? If it was me dying on the sidewalk, you'd walk all over me. I PASS you every day, and you DON'T notice me. Oh, but these guys, because Thomas Wayne went and cried about them on TV."
Sandy could hear the pain and tension in his voice. Arthur was at his breaking point. Seeing him like this broke Sandy's heart. A black tear ran down her face. She cracked a smile, holding it all together.
Murray continued pushing his questions. "So, you've got a problem with Thomas Wayne?"
Arthur nodded his head, vigorously. "Yes, I do."
Arthur turned his head towards Murray.
"Have you seen what it's like out there, MurRay? Do you ever actually leave the studio? Everybody just yells and screams at each other. Nobody's civil ANYMORE! Nobody THINKS what it's like to be the other guy. You think men like Thomas Wayne ever think about what it's like to be someone like me. To be somebody, but themselves. They DON'T. They think we'll just sit there and take it like GOOD LITTLE BOYS and we won't WEREWOLF and go WILD."
Sandy's eyes widened, as she covered her mouth to silent her laughing sobs. She never seen this much pain coming from just one man. The techs seemed to get invested with Arthur's big speech.
Murray his head. "Are you finished? There's so much self pity, Arthur. It's almost like you're making excuses for killing those three men. What about your sweetheart, huh, Sandy? She's not awful, right? Not everyone, and I'll tell you this, not everyone is awful."
Arthur glared at Murray. "You're awful, Murray."
"Me? I'm awful? How am I awful?" Murray said, defensively.
Arthur's green ocean eyes glared menacingly at Murray. "Playing my video. Inviting me on the show. You just wanted to make fun of me. You're just like the rest of them."
Murray scoffed. "You don't know the first thing about me, pal. Look what happened because of what you did. What it led to. Two officers are in critical condition because of what you did."
Arthur started laughing with a gentle tear rolling down his face.
"And you're laughing. You're laughing. Someone was killed today because of what you did."
Arthur kept nodding and smiling. "I know. How about another joke, MurRay."
Murray shook his head. "No, I think we've had enough of your jokes."
"What do you get when you cross a mentally ill loner with a SOCIETY that ABANDONS him and treats him like TRASH? I'll tell you what you get. YOU GET WHAT YOU FUCKING DESERVE."
Arthur pulled out the gun, shooting Murray in the head.
The audience ran screaming in terror.
Arthur laughed to himself. Getting up, he shot Murray a second time in the chest
Sandy and the techs witnessed the horror firsthand. Sandy ran out onto the stage.
"Arthur." Sandy screamed.
Arthur walked up to the camera.
"Goodnight, and always remember. That's life."
Arthur was promptly tackled by security.
