In the beginning Loop tells Siffrin that he can tell the party about the loops. There's nothing stopping them after all.

In act 3, Loop asks again, will you tell your party about the loops?

For both the answer is the same. They can handle it. Why would his party need to know?

In act 4, Loop doesn't ask Siffrin if he'll tell the party. The answer to that is pretty clear, but the thing is they also don't ask a different critical question: why won't Siffrin tell the party about the loops?

Except. There is an equivalent question.

"What will you do after the loops?"

When Siffrin is asked this, the screen goes dark. They blank, more than that, it may be an answer on its own. There is nothing beyond the loops.

Loop just remarks, "something for you to think about." Notably Siffrin doesn't comment on any of this at all. They don't want to think about it.

The answer to "why don't you tell them about the loops" is the same as "what are you going to do after the loops" in a way.

Telling the others about the loops means they may end, worse it may mean they hate Siffrin. And Siffrin can't let his family hate him. Because beyond the loops, beyond this journey, Siffrin has nothing. There is nothing for him to look forward to other than these moments again and again.

So Siffrin can't tell their family about the loops because if they know, everything could end. And what else do they have other than this half-life?

it's funny because while finishing the last bit of this quick drawing I came to the realization that I literally have a human loop design and just didn't use it, next time I post (whenever that'll be.) and it has human loop, I'll actually use it, I promise! I super promise! I super duper promise!

ok heres. an old human loop art dump....some of these are from twwoooo months ago (??)

btw. the 4th drawing is inspired by a tumblr post i saw but forgot to save (the agony) about loop copying their party members body language. which is a hc that i immediately adopted and love from the bottom of my heart

and yeah the top stuff...i know loops relationship with the party would be strained at first, but especially with isabeau. but even though loop is a bit antagonistic with them, i like to think that he makes them some gloves. (psychic damage 1000 towards loop)

on another note i drew that art right above the most. shitposty earthbound art ive almost ever drawn and i completely forgot that i did that so it took me out LMAOO

the funniest thing ever is when a fic is about siffrin and/or loop doing something completely mundane and normal. but by virtue of the fic being written from siffrin/loop's pov it's gotta have at least 3 different content warnings on it and maybe even a Mature rating
