Here's a new Starscream design for y'all This piece is also acting as the establishment for a new common body frame for my future TF arts the idea mostly centered around the hips sticking out to the side like that, inspired by the WFC Siege Starscream figure and a little bit of Armada Starscream I thought the idea of the jet's nose-cone forming his arms was neat :3 Anyhow, I hope you all enjoy the new look for the Air Commander

one of the more interesting things i've found is that people think that in TFP Seekers actually look like starscream and they don't.

Starscream mentioned that he originally looked liked this:

And in RID, that's what he changes back into.

Seekers in the Aligned continuity/tfp look like this mostly:

and in the games, what TFP's story line follows , this is Starscream's form:

Seekers tend to be rather big, bulky and clunky and Starscream himself actually looks more like the Seeker twins.

Meaning that this starscream:

is a COMPLETE SELF MODIFICATION. Meaning he went out of his way to look like this because that is not how he or any other seekers look and being a seeker this form is actually so impractical for military sieges and taking hard hits. But the interesting thing is he is still so durable in this frame type.

but i just always find it interesting when people think that this is how seekers actually looks in tfp when Starscream just went and got his frame completely reformatted to look this way.

Primes Reborn AU spoilers below, skip if you want to wait for the fic

So, after the whole ordeal with Megatron and Optimus is more or less settled, the fighting against the Decepticons continues. They're still called that because Starscream is Not Creative™.

When, and this doesn't happen often due to how protective both Megatron and Optimus have gotten lately, Bee goes to the battlefield and in a particular fight, him and Starscream tumble out of everyone's view and

Well.

Things Happen™.

When Bee finds out that he is carrying, first and foremost he needs a crash course on what carrying entails, and second, what he needs during this period. So he tells absolutely NO ONE (except Ratchet, of course) and beelines (lol) for Starscream in the next fight.

When he tells Starscream, at first he doesn't believe him. And after that, he tells him to get rid of it. And a few way meaner things. So yeah, not much for Starscream being in the picture.

When emergence comes, Iacon is under siege, so Bee runs to the surface where Starscream follows (yes, Starscream ran after him, next question)

After almost getting caught by a bunch of quintesson scouts and then seeking refuge in a cave (not the cave of the primes, another one) emergence becomes imminent

And, well, Starscream is an asshole but he isn't scum, so he helps Bee with emergence and oh boy. Starscream had never felt so many emotions at once.

At first Bee doesn't let him hold the little seeker, he doesn't trust him, why should he? Besides, didn't Starscream tell him he didn't want anything to do with them?

Meanwhile Starscream is about to break if Bee doesn't hand the sparkling over to him. He didn't know he could feel so much love for someone like he had for Bee and their sparkling in that moment.

He regrets it all so, so much, dear Primus, he had missed everything. And now Bee won't let him near and his spark breaks even more. How is he supposed to cope if Bee decides to leave for Iacon? He can't do that! Can he?

So this fool is begging Bee not to leave and please let him just hold the sparkling, he promises he won't take off, why would he do that?-

They don't have too much time to discuss before the quintessons' scouts find them. So Starscream whisks Bee away to the Nemesis. Where Bee agrees to stay on the condition that Starscream ceases the sieges and at least tries to be a better bot.

Bee names the sparkling Hermes btw
