Been in a sico mood ever since I read some lore yesterday (thank u esteemed nicologist @/distantlaughter, what shall we ever do without you)...

THIS is what big brocedes + big sewis are hiding from you!!!!! The messages are so sweet I am on my knees... Nico putting two exclamaton marks after Seb's name (spelled out in full, Sebastian instead of Seb) & writing "get the thing"!! Seb's "dear nico" and "your year"!!! I'm so fond of the little germans :)))

seb/nico, gen, 750 words. early 2010's, based on a prompt "53: Wings/supernatural body features", written for @25points.

In the public eye looks were everything, and if you had wings they were everything too. A lot of people said that Nico was really lucky; he's got both: angelic looks and gorgeous snow white wings, like a swan, like his father. But whenever he saw Sebastian a pang of envy pierced right through his chest.

Sebastian’s wings didn’t compare Nico’s – smaller and absolutely not as gorgeous. His wings were of golden ochre colour with white specks and black dots, like eyes. Always in control and also sort of angelic, but in a biblical sense, with righteous wrath. And where Sebastian’s wings lacked beauty; they made up for in skill, they were precise and moved silently.

Sebastian’s father didn’t have wings, no one from his family did, but everybody knew he was going to be one of the greatest because his wings were so similar to Michael’s. This was another source of Nico’s woes alongside being a son of champion, amongst other things. Sebastian was so similar to Michael in ways Nico could never be.

Nico finished third that day, Malaysia 2010, which felt amazing. Standing on the podium always felt so. And it was the first time he did it with Sebastian. Nico’s racing was always technical and consistent and he felt like he could do better than Michael even if he still scared him off track. But whilst he was about to surpass the idol of the olden days, he could sense that Sebastian was on the rise and Nico couldn’t keep up.

“May I touch your wings?” he asked quietly, when they found themselves alone in the corridors set behind the podium walls. It was not an ordinary thing to ask a fellow driver, but if Sebastian declined, Nico thought, he would just apologize and move on with his life the best he can.

“Sure!” the smile on Sebastian’s face could illuminate a night race. “But only if I can touch yours,” he chuckled, unzipping his overalls.

Managing the wings as a racing driver was a whole another ordeal. They looked frail, much like the racing cars themselves, but as well as the cars they were actually very sturdy and most importantly very powerful. Not all drivers even had wings, but most of the champions did, and it was an unspoken rule of sorts that the champions have wings. Simple as that. Out of champions who raced alongside Nico only Lewis didn’t have them.

Every driver who had wings coped in different ways, and as Sebastian took the top half of his overalls off, Nico could see the slits cut neatly in his nomex undershirt and his little ochre wings threaded through them and folded neatly over his back. There were no restraints other than overalls.

“You don’t tie them to your body?” Nico asked, watching Sebastian roll his shoulders as his wings twitched and unfolded in front of him. A hundred watchful eyes staring right into Nico’s soul.

“No, why would I?” Sebastian laughed, and the golden feathers shuffled as if his wings were laughing too. “You can touch them, they are nothing special,” the wings calmed down as Sebastian waited for the touch.

The feathers were firm, but soft and seemed almost warm to the touch. They were tucked in very neat rows and Nico could tell that Seb takes very good care of them. He hummed as Nico stroked the feathers slowly and carefully. Sebastian didn’t tie them and they didn’t bother him. How strange, Nico thought. His own wings were often causing more trouble than he’d like to, shifting and wrestling their way out, and that’s why he had to tie them to his body sometimes with extremely soft custom made belts.

“Thank you,” Nico said quietly, taking his hand away, even though his fingers still longed for the touch. They are very beautiful,” he added, rubbing his palms together to get rid of the soft sensation, to forget how the touch of Sebastian’s wings feels.

“No problem,” Sebastian smiled at him, but kind of shy this time, not a blinding beaming smile, but still illuminated and glowing. “They are not a match to yours though,” he chuckled, watching as Nico undid the zipper of his overalls.

“Yeah, they are not,” Nico answered as he went through the ordeal of taking the top half of the overalls and nomex undershirt off and proceeded with undoing the belts that kept his wings close to his body. And maybe it was never about the wings.

This is a project I've been wanting to create for a while now. It's probably already been done before, but I'm trying to make this one as unique and accessible as possible. I think the world deserves more Seb orientated fic fests, don't you think?

I was inspired by the concept of the F1 Big Bang fanfic event, and thought I'd put my own spin on it. But this time, it will be different. I will be centring this event around Sebastian Vettel and his many boyfriends. Pairings such as Martian/Sebmark, Simi, Sebson, Sewis, Sebchal, and the like. I'm including rarepairs as well to give people more accessibility and to let their imaginations run wild with creativity. Fanfic writers and artists will have free rein to pair Seb up with anyone from the motorsport world, including ROC, Moto GP, WRC, Nascar, and any of the Formula categories. You could even add Seb's Red Bull engineer Rocky and pundits such as Lee McKenzie and David Coulthard. Plus, you can put them in any situation you like; AU or otherwise. Go crazy!

An Overview Of The Hex Core/Machine Ruler Caitlyn Timeline.

In this timeline, everything went the same except Finn survived and ordered the meeting much later resulting in Silco going there and never to Vander's statue.

With her plan now falling apart and unable to track down Silco, Jinx stole an airship while Caitlyn went with her mother to the Council as security.

Vi who spotted Jinx in the airship got on and fought her but failed resulting in Jinx shooting a rocket at the council.

Viktor was late to the meeting due to his disease catching up to him and died with Jayce beside him.

Caitlyn was caught in the blast as Jayce used the same tactic to save her. The result is the same process as Caitlyn is in the hex resin.

Silco seeing what Jinx has done and chastises her for it explaining that Zaun was going to get their independence.

The grey was never used as Caitlyn was healing and Vi never became an Enforcer but became a Firelight instead while had assistance in hunting Jinx down with the help of Loris, Steb and Maddie. The memorial massacre doesn't happen as Silco is looking for someone to throw under the bus for it to protect Jinx.

Caitlyn wakes up much to an overjoyed Jayce and tells it to the Council. The Council has a meltdown to what Jayce has done since it left Caitlyn deformed and they exile him. Ambessa sees Caitlyn's powers after she repairs a crack on the wall.

Ambessa talks to Caitlyn who later reads her mind when Ambessa touched her. Caitlyn, knowing what Ambessa has in mind, ends up enhancing her as she spreads it to her men then the Enforcers and later the prisoners of Stillwater. Maddie, Loris, and Steb were at Zaun at the time.

Caitlyn shows off her abilities to the Council explaining Ambessa's intentions and how she changed them to become better. The Council reluctantly lets Caitlyn become a member and a general at the same time. To gain the trust of Zaun and her need to help people, Caitlyn convinces the Council to give them their independence as a sign of forgiveness.

Piltover essentially becomes Latveria as its free of crime and disease but also severely oppressed.

Maddie goes through a crisis since she's the only one left and has no purpose. But through Ekko and Vi, finds one then becomes a Firelight. She confesses the truth to Vi and to celebrate new beginnings-stole explosives from Jinx with her and Vi going to wreck Ambessa's ship while stealing some stuff then blew it up.

Mel Medarda returned from her travel and returns to the Council albeit acts as Caitlyn's conscious so she doesn't go full dictator. She's one of the few people Caitlyn takes shit from next to Vi and her father. Anyone else who tries gets removed from her sight.

Silco is part of the council now while Sevika is in charge of the criminal underworld.

After some convincing by Vi, Caitlyn was able to shut down the hex gate and but also override the hex core's influence. Ekko's tree problem is solved using the magic to get rid of its influence. Thus showing that there's still a little bit of Caitlyn left in there. (Vi is gonna end up a hex cake if Caitlyn keeps this up).

The Firelight vs Chembaron conflict is still ongoing as Caitlyn backs the Firelights in secret. Piltover is still Latveria.

Love and Legacy, Epilogue Part 2!

It was only recently, after Viktor replaced his Hexcore augmented hand and leg (gods, how Jayce missed them), after visiting Arlo, that Jayce thought maybe it was time. Before the replacement, his hand had begun to seize and his leg hurt nearly as much as it had before the Hexcore augmentation. After, the pain was gone but Viktor had left him more and more. Long silent spells, as if he were not fully there. He would come out of it with a gasp, shaking his head or clenching his jaw. The last one had lasted nearly half a day. Jayce could do nothing but sit with him, begging quietly for him to come back, like he had when he’d lay dying in the hospital.

Viktor was sleeping and eating less too. The dark circles of his illness and the gauntness of his cheeks had returned. Jayce didn’t know what brought it on. Viktor dealt with the Hexcore’s care, feeding it a diet of blood and shimmer, a detail from his notes that made Jayce’s stomach churn.

Another detail that haunted him was that the thing spoke to Viktor. He’d written at great length about it. It had gotten stronger after he and Sky’s initial experiments involving plants, when they thought maybe there was still a way to use it safely. They’d completed two months before Viktor went into the hospital for the final time, with much to show and none of it safe to see the light of day.

Over the past few months, the choice had become easier because maybe destroying the Hexcore would kill Viktor, but doing nothing would render him a ghost.
