I got curious if Dizzy's bird friend(?) in the trailer was modelled after a real bird, and after looking up a bit, I'd say it really resembles a male eastern bluebird (Sialia sialis) .

I considered its relative, the western bluebird (Sialia mexicana) as an option, but, those have a blue throat (above the breast area), so I'd say the bird looks like an eastern one the most.

The picture is from Avianreport.com, which has a nice article about this species. They can inhabit woodlands, so that's a fitting choice for Dizzy. Of course I might be looking too much into it, it might have not been designed with a specific species in mind but, what can I say, speculation is fun. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
