Gakuen Heaven Review Part 2

Cut due to length

Taki Shunsuke

Shunsuke is the character who speaks in Kansai dialect, which means I’m already biased for him since the beginning. He is very chill and doesn’t want people to use keigo when talking to him, so he is one of the only characters who Keita talks causally with even though he is 1 year above (yes this is a big deal in Japan). His route starts with him questioning Keita, how he got into the school. Since Keita doesn’t really know it himself, he just tells him that, but Shunsuke doesn’t seems convinced. Then he just runs away with Keita following him (I think he dropped something? I’m not sure anymore) Keita follows him to the administration building where we learn that Shunsuke is actually working as a spy for the vice director, who apart from being an asshole, just hates Keita’s guts. Of course, Shunsuke is not doing that because he wants to but because the vice director is blackmailing him into it. Shusuke tell him all the information he has on Keita, but the asshole vice director is not happy with that and abuses him (and not only that he actually rapes him in the PC version) and since Keita followed him, he actually sees that. Keita of course tries to help Shunsuke to free himself from the director, but Shusuke just rejects him. Also, since the topic of rape is pretty heavy in this route a lot was changed in the PSP version, so much that the walkthrough was even completely different, so I’m not sure myself how they even handled this topic and I feel like we didn’t get the full story in the PSP version, which is a shame. After trying to get Shusuke away from the vice director several times, Keita finally gets Shunsuke to confess what the asshole vice director is blackmailing him with. As far as I remember Shusuke’s father left the family and his new nicer dad is working for the vice director, so that asshole choose to use Shunsuke as his personal spy, and told Shusuke if he doesn’t do as told he will make his father work hell. In addition, Shusuke, who works delivering mail around the school ground for cafeteria tickets, once read a letter of a classmate, that he was supposed to deliver, who dated the math teacher and then told the information to the vice director, which ended with the student quitting school. Of course, Shunsuke feels terrible about this and doesn’t want the anyone in the school to know it was his fault, because the student was really popular, which would lead to the whole school hating him. The vice director also uses this information to blackmail him, so basically Shusuke is stuck and has no way out. Despite the vice director telling Shusuke to try get Keita to lose the MVP battle Shusuke is a good boy and still leads them to victory. In the end Keita and Shusuke end up telling the director aka Kazuki about the asshole of a vice director, and he gets his ass fired (nice one Kazuki). Shunsuke also wishes to get the information of the student who left school because of him, since he wants to apologise. Which he does and later tell Keita that the student wasn’t actually mad and that he got an opportunity to go aboard with the teacher he was in love with, so happy end for everyone. Then Shusuke confesses that he likes Keita or rather takes a long while to confess and Keita returns his feeling which makes him super happy and them being the stupid couple, they are they kiss right on the school yard… at broad daylight… with everyone seeing it lmao. Keita then thinks that his school life will be interesting from now on and the route ends. You also need to know that Keita tops in this relationship, but I didn’t see the H-scenes so no idea how it actually goes, but these two sure are the definition of an idiot couple. They also end up screaming about their love for each other to the whole school in the fandisk, which is hilarious. I like them a lot they are cute.

Shichijou Omi

Omi is my least favourite character, not only because he is generally just too polite but also because he is just creepy. He is the hackerman of the game and the queen’s childhood friend. Most of his route consist of Keita hanging out with him and Omi taking him to places to explore Omi’s hobby with is occult stuff. For some reason he is really into it. Kaoru also tells Keita the story how they became friends in this route. Omi grew up in the US and when he came to Japan, he did not understand Japanese, so everyone thought he was strange and could not understand him, but Kaoru was smart and could speak English already in elementary school, so they became friends. Later when they were about to start high school, Kaoru got an acceptance letter for BL school, but Omi didn’t, so Kaoru made Omi hack his name into the list of students, to be together with him. But unlucky for them the director noticed it and paid a visit to them. First, they didn’t want to admit it and Kaoru tried to take the blame himself but lucky them, the director aka Kazuki was so impressed with Omi’s skills that he invited him to join the school in exchange for taking over the security over the school. And that’s the reason why Kaoru and Omi know of Kazuki’s identity as the director. Anyway, back to the not so interesting plot of the route. Apart from the background story nothing interesting happens in the route, they do the MVP battle win and later Omi confesses to Keita on the roof of the school by lighting the windows of the school in letters to form the words “I love Ito Keita”. Keita is shocked about this and is not sure if he feels the same way, so Omi suggest for them to try out dating and kisses Keita. Now for my personal problems with this pairing. Omi is creepy and the way he basically forced Keita to date him was just red flag. Normally Keita starts to have gay thoughts about the LI at this point, but here he didn’t and even after confessing he wasn’t sure. Worst part is that the sex scenes is supposed to take place right on the roof after the confession, so Omi basically forces Keita to have sex with him which is just a big no no. Even worse is that the end scene shows them cuddling (or more like Omi hugging Keita) and Omi helping Keita with his English. The whole scene gives of “psycho love interest locking up the MC” energy and it creeped me the hell out, so yeah Omi was just to me.

Niwa Tetsuya

The president of the student council, which is why he is also called King. He is a kind and a gently man, who is excellent in every subject, thus is why the club of the school have to beat him first to get financial support. Niwa is very helpful but loves to slack of and run away from his responsibilities, which is why his wife Nakajima has a “Niwa is not doing his work” detector and therefore able to find him anywhere on the school ground. King’s routes consist mostly of him and Keita bonding over fishing and not doing their work (he is a bad influence lol) with Nakajima running after them. For Keita to partner up with King for the MVP battle he has to stand in line because King is so popular that everyone in school wanted to be partners with him. When Keita finally got to ask him, King asked him in reverse why Keita wants to be partners with him to which Keita replied that he wants to stay in the school because he likes it here and wants to find out what kind of special talent he has (spoiler: none lol, if you don’t count his luck). The answer is enough for king to pair up with him because he just wanted to see how serious Keita is about the whole thing. The MVP battle is a bit different in this route, because Keita gets kidnapped by vice-directors’ underlings, who try to stop Keita from winning. But King shows up and saves Keita, getting hurt in the progress but beating these dudes up to pulp. During the battle they grow even closer together, and Keita hugs him before he does the final battle alone. After they win, Keita tries to find King only to be told by Nakajima that King is not in his right mind and it trying to pick fights with everyone. Looking for King, Keita finds him at the beach, where we find out that king is going mad because he has a deep crush on Keita and is now trying to sort out his feelings. He confesses to Keita, knowing he can’t hide his feelings anyway and thinks Keita will reject him, because he is a man and all, but to his surprise Keita actually ends up kissing him (damn Keita) and says that their feelings are mutual. Then they have sexy times on the beach. The routes with them once again running from Nakajima and King carrying Keita princess style. I loved Kings route a lot, their relationship development felt natural, I loved how confident Keita was with King and how soft and loving King is with Keita. Also Keita kept calling him “cute” in the route which was just precious. I also have to talk about Kings relationship with the queen, who doesn’t seem to like him much. But King sure does likes him and always calls him “Kaoru-chan” and you can tell me what you want but King has a crush on the queen. He even said he would date him if Kaoru was a woman, but honestly, he doesn’t need to become a woman for you to date him Niwa, you know? Haha (even if Kaoru would be so happy with it probably lol). The game had good LI x LI potential as well as threesome, sadly we didn’t get it, but I would love to see King x Queen or King x Queen x Keita as well as Keita x Nakajima x Queen (those three also had a very questionable scene together). So many characters so many possibilities….

Saionji Kaoru

Apart from the King, the Queen is the other best route of the game. First thing you need to know about Kaoru is that this man is so beautiful it’s criminal when Omi is standing next to him. Not only that but Keita also has to suffer because of his beauty lol. Secondly you need to know that he can be either top or bottom, but I’ll get to that later. So, Kaoru, who Keita always calls “Saionji”, but I can’t remember his family name, so I just go with his first name, is probably the smartest person in the school. He already got all credits to graduate so he is just chilling now and swallowing every book he gets his hands on. According to Omi he gets angry because he knows he can’t inquire all the knowledge of this world lol. He works as the head of the school accounting department, because he has some beef with the school president and doesn’t want to work together with him (though I personally think he is just tsun about it.) Their quarrel started when Kaoru joined the school and King started flirting with him because he thought Kaoru is a girl (honestly can’t blame him) and touched his hair (the audacity), which is where he got the nickname “queen” from, though he doesn’t like the nickname himself (but I personally think it fits him very well, because he sometimes acts like a queen). His route doesn’t really have strong plot, it mostly consists of Keita hanging out with him, but I don’t mind because that way I can simp more for Kaoru. We also find out that Kaoru not only dresses like a grandpa, but he also has grandpa hobbies, like going to classical music concerts (no offence for classic music lovers here, I enjoy it myself) and dragging Keita with him. The romance in this game hits when Keita stumbles upon a sleeping Kaoru, who looks like the beautiful princess he is, and the first thing going to Keita’s totally straight mind is to kiss Kaoru, then he has an internal conflict about wanting to kiss Kaoru despite him being a man but decided fuck it he’s going to do it. S,o he does and of course Kaoru wakes up (but honestly no surprise Keita had his lips glued to him for like a minute straight), then he asks Keita if Keita likes him and goes even further by asking him if he likes men. Keita of course goes “Keita.exe stopped working” and this is where you decided who you want to see get laid. If Keita confessed and says he likes him Kaoru will just question him further with lead to Keita later having a panic dialogue with himself and if he is actually gay (it’s hilarious), but after deciding “fuck it it’s worth to be gay for the queen” he goes to confess only for Kaoru to acts all queen on him, having Keita to swear to be with him forever and actually threating him with death if he cheats lol. The best part though is when they go to the director office to make their wish. After Keita asks the director to stay at the school, Kaoru, who knows Kazuki is the director and interested in Keita, tell him that he will be taking Keita in exchange, hinting that they are dating, and Kazuki replies with “how could you do this to me” AHAHAHAHAHAHA comedy gold. Then Kaoru invites Keita to his room, Keita thinks he will get to top, but wrong Kaoru tops the fuck out of him and the routes ends with him resting on Kaoru’s knees the next day because his butt hurts lmao. But if you choose to let Keita think about it again, Keita won’t have the gay breakdown in his brain, instead he will confess seriously and with full confidence to Kaoru the next day and kiss Kaoru right on spot (damn Keita). When it comes to the sexy times Kaoru actually allows Keita to top so Keita doesn’t waste a second thought and goes straight to sucking his dick, accepting his new gay persona immediately lmaoo. After that he goes full top and has Kaoru ride him (nice). You see, Keita as a top is just… too powerful. . It’s almost scary, he only is allowed to top 3 of the 10 characters but when he does, he goes crazy, maybe that’s why they didn’t allow him to top more hahaha.

And if you want to know why I know how the sex scene went, it’s because I had to see Kaoru bottom, so we played the PC version for this. And normally I don’t talk about sex scenes in my reviews but it sure was a good scene ahaha. It was longer than the other h-scenes and seeing Kaoru ride Keita was the best because it’s my favourite sex position in bl games. Also, bottom Kaoru is superior because man is always very serious and doesn’t show many emotions on him face apart from being mad at the King once in a while but having him actually get embarrassed and shy was just the best and he only does it when he is bottom. Their route ends with them lying in bed together, still naked with a pink background and Keita teasingly asking for more while (probably) touching Kaoru inappropriately and Kaoru just getting super embarrassed. They relationship development doesn’t feel rushed at all, since Kaoru admit to liking Keita (platonic or not) even way before the whole kiss drama happens. Also I would like to start a petition for more hime-character in bl games, I just need more of them, so writer please take notes.

Itou Keita

Keita is a complex character because he acts a bit different in every route. In one he can be annoying because of his homophobia in other he can be strong and confident, but I feel like all the different part we see of him through the game are parts of his being and which side we see of him, depend on his partner alone. Keita is a very generic MC, which doesn’t make him boring at all, rather him being the way he is, is distancing him from other main characters (if that even makes sense?). Since all his routes show a different side of him, it’s always fun to explore a new side of him. His behaviour can really surprise but also disappoint you. All in all, I think he is a very good and entertaining main character. If you only know him from the anime, I really recommend the game because in the anime he felt rather empty compared to the game.

Art

Chinssss…In old fashion style, the chins in this game are as impressive as always. Joke beside, the game has a very 90s anime-core style of art (makes sense it came out in 2002), back then they just had a bad case of yaoi chins, but if you don’t mind the old art style you will enjoy it. Since I’m already old and grew up with that art style, I don’t really mind it, rather I find it really nostalgic. The game doesn’t have that many Cgs, but the one it has are really good. There was a kiss Cgs (the most important one) for every couple. However, the important part is not the Cgs in the game but rather all the extra art the company released for this game because hot damn, they released a lot and a lot of really sexy pictures of the characters, sometimes even LI x LI pictures. If you’re interested, I recommend taking a look at the gorgeous art of the game.

Voice acting

Normally I don’t really mention the VA since Japanese games always have good acting so it’s not worth it, but this time I make an exception since only the PSP version is voiced, which is such a shame because the VA do so much to bring the character to life. You can’t play this game without having heard the way Naruse calls Keita “honey”, or how deep Kaoru sounds despite looking like a princess. Not only that but all the characters are voiced by pretty know voice actors such as Miki Shinichirou (already mentioned) Kamiya Hiroshi, Narita Ken, Konishi Katsuyuki, Morikawa Toshiyuki and so on. That’s why I really recommend playing the PSP version (with emulator) instead of the PC version because the H-scenes aren’t really worth erasing the voices for.

Conclusion

The game is great, the fandsik is great, I had a fantastic time playing this with my friends and I will really miss the amazing characters in this game (We still talk about them). And despite my complains (which is normal since this is a review after all) I had a ton of fun with this game and can only recommend it as an old time classic, but only the voiced version, or else you will be missing out a lot. The anime is also not bad if you just want to watch some slice of life school romance BL, there are also manga that follow some of the routes, such as Kazuki’s and King’s. And if you decided to play it, don’t forget the fandisk also exists.

The thing about the Minetaverse is the more I work on it the more fucked up I end up making it.

I know, inherently, it is about love.

It is the love his mother has for her son that allowed Piers Drake to live, because only one of them was coming out alive in the hero raid and she didn't want it to be her. It is the love the unnamed bar owner has for Piers Drake and Evita Santos that allows them the chance to acquire student visas. It is the love Matriarch Taki has for Shunsuke Mineta and his younger sister that allows them to stay at the orphanage. It is the love Koroka Ayu has for Iori Kano that makes her agree to become a remedial student in order to protect him.

It is the love the ShunCrew have for each other that leads to them feeling they are safe enough to start healing from their past trauma.

But it is also about the destruction love causes.

It is also the love Kirishima has for Akihada that leads to the divorce, and the over policing Koroka and Iori experienced. It is the love Genkei has for Bakugou that leads to his mental spiral and subsequent running away. It is also the love Uraraka has for Toga that leads to Chami not knowing she has a third genetic parent, and the perceived loveless marriage Asui is in. It is also the love TodoDeku has for their daughter that leads to her becoming a bitch. It is the love Isao Ojiro has for his father that leads him to being so dickish to Shunsuke for the first chunk of the story. It is the love Jirou has for Yaoyorozu that leads to Shunsuke's entire situation.

For every moment of love, there are three more misguided displays that lead to disaster.

I'm like super curious about your naruto timeline because we all know Naruto is like... a mess and a half and like, everyone knows its a mess and a half but no one has the time to fix the naruto timeline and make it all neat n stuff. This timeline is specifically for HOPE AU (No Tomorrow, Until Dawn Breaks) and is updated every time I update the fic. Do NOT try to use my timeline against me down the line to fact-check my own work. Do NOT try to correct this timeline against canon events, this AU diverts from canon far beyond a single 'turning point' (e.g Shisui's time travel).

MY TIMELINE: Konohan Reckoning

Y0: Konoha is built, Hashi and Mads are 30 and Tobirama is 25.

Y5: Kagami, Sarutobi and Danzo etc are born.

Y15: Tsunade etc born (Hashi is grandfather at 45).

Y17: Kakuzu (39) flees after failing to assassinate Hashi(47). He "dies" from the wounds Tobirama (42) gave him, leaving him to steal Taki's Earth Grudge Technique to keep living.

Y18: FIRST WAR. Hashi dies at 48 from mysterious chakra related reasons (EDIT SPOILER) and Tobirama is 2Hokage at 43. Uchiha Police formed. Sakumo is born.

Y21: Sarutobi(16) gets his team(6).

Y25: Kagami(20) has a son (Shunsuke). WAR END.

Y50: Shisui(6)'s parents(Shunsuke and Kana25) die. Shisui graduates to Genin.

Y52: October 5th Shisui(8) loses his Genin team (Kazumi-sensei, Mariko-chan, Daiki/chi-kun) and activates his Mangekyou two weeks after turning 8(Oct 19). Inoichi(22) becomes his sensei. Inoichi starts dating Sora shortly afterwards. Yahiko (15) dies, Konan and Nagato lead Akatsuki and overthrow Hanzo. Anko(9) becomes Genin under Orochimaru. EDIT.

Y53: Shisui(9) becomes Chuunin. Itachi(4) is traumatised by war. Inoichi(23) becomes Yamanaka Head and Head of T&I when his father( Inojou ('dictate'+'human' meaning) mind-walks an assassin and is killed during a suicide jutsu. Inoichi(23) and Sora(22) get married. Anko(10) and team fail Chuunin exam.

Y54: Kakashi(12) becomes Jounin. Obito(12) "dies". Minato(26) becomes known as the Yellow Flash and becomes 4Hokage. Rin(12) dies. ROOT is officially disbanded (Danzo 49). Orochimaru(39) becomes a missing-nin. Anko 11 is left with a cursed seal that is managed by the ANBU sealing tattoo artist, OC. WAR END.

Y56: Sasuke is born(Mikoto 28, Fugaku 32). Ino is born(Inoichi 26, Sora 25). Kyuubi is released. Naruto is born and Minato(28) and Kushina(28) die. Sarutobi(51) returns as 3Hokage. Kakashi(14) joins ANBU. Itachi(7) graduates to Genin.

Y57: Itachi(8) becomes a Chuunin.

Y58: Shisui(14) becomes Jounin.

Y60: Shisui(16) joins ANBU alongside Itachi(11). Naruto(4) leaves the Orphanage under the watch of Squad Two(Hound, Jackal, Monkey, Ram.) Shisui gets his first kiss from Anko (17) when saving her from near death on an ANBU rescue.

Y62: Fugaku(38) and the Elders propose a Coup.

Y63: Itachi(13) becomes ANBU Captain. Shisui(18) enters the Bingo Book as A-Rank Flee-On-Sight Shunshin no Shisui. Itachi is ordered to spy on the Hokage. Shisui is ordered to monitor Itachi. Tenzo(16) joins Squad Two (Kakashi 21, Raidou 23, Genma 23, Shisui 18/19).

Y64: Rookie9 starts at the academy(8). Danzo(58) steals Shisui(19/20)'s eye. Shisui commits suicide. Itachi(15/16) activates his Mangekyou and kills the Uchiha Clan(Mikoto 36, Fugaku 40) with Tobi(22), leaving Sasuke(8...9?) the sole survivor. Kakashi(22/23) leaves ANBU. (Genma23/24, Raidou23/24, Tenzo17/18.). Shisui wakes 2 months in the past and confides in Inoichi, Squad Two and Mikoto. Danzo(58) is beheaded by Mikoto(36) after shisui steals back his grandfather’s eye. ROOT are reunited with family. Tenzo meets Sai and Shin. Shisui becomes official Consultant between T&I and ANBU and liaisons between Uchiha and Hokage. Mikoto becomes a Hime Elder in the Hokage’s advisory council.

I add characters/events to the timeline as and when i need them. This is only part of the timeline, since any further back uses different reckoning and any further forward is straight up spoilers for the other three arcs/stories in HOPE AU 😂 there are also slight differences in events according to other villages, Kiri and Uzushio especially have minor amendments that I edited out for readability's sake

Final Note: if anyone uses my timeline to make their own, please credit me at least in name because this took days and actual math. If I find this reposted anywhere, I will be extremely aggravated

Also, translation and posting are kind of on hold for the moment, as I’m sure you’ve noticed. Marfisa has been slammed at work since returning from her overseas trip and I’m in a “no motivation OR discipline” rut at the moment. And my dad’s visiting from out of town for a week. It’s been 16 years since the Gakuen Heaven anime made its debut and I thought about what a dub cast list may look like. Reminder, these are just headcanons!

2019 2.5D Actors ranking

I decided to do two rankings of my top 50 2.5D actors. One in terms of acting skill and level, and one in terms of how much I like them.

RULES:

1. I must have seen them in at least one 2.5D production and at least 2 different stage shows. And liked them in at least two different roles for their acting level

2. They must still be active in 2.5D shows.

3. I have not taken how much I like the actor into account. I am not a fan of all of these actors. I simply think they have exceptional acting ability.

Fujioka Hiroshi is basically Japanese Chuck Norris but better lol. As for someone in a tokusatsu trifecta, I think only one did it for Toei Tokusatsu; Miyauchi Hiroshi, aka V3; Aorenger & Big One; and Space Sheriff Alan in Space Sheriff Gavan. But there's more, he's Masaki Shunsuke in the Rescue Police trilogy of Winspector, Solbrain, and Exceedraft; the boss of the Ohrangers Miura. A role in toku Spidey, and best role is The #1 in Japan Hayakawa Ken, Kaiketsu Zubat. Yeah, he's everywhere.

Are you sure it’s not that Chuck Norris is the American Fujioka but not as good 😂

Geez Miyauchi really made a career of fighting people in rubber suits lol. That’s quite a long list of toku roles...

Though by the Big Three Toku I meant KR, Sentai and Ultraman- I was thinking that since Yukari Taki joined the circle when she guest starred in Ryusoulger.

NON-SPOILER REVIEW

Overall: This was so good!! I am so glad that I went!! It was so good. It was absolutely amazing. It's difficult to explain but the story just entirely suited my taste and it was well acted and the songs were all great and I enjoyed pretty much all the characters which is unusual for me xD And the best part about the stage was definitely the bench interactions!! The bench interactions were amazing!! I couldn't stop watching them! I also loved how dark this stage was compared to others and previous ones. I felt like the atmosphere was really heavy for this one, or that I was just so completely engrossed in the whole thing this time around. And I got to see Hiroki in action again which was great! Also I was looknig forward to seeing this new Seigaku Gen - or at least went in with a clear mind and no pre-bias - and I enjoyed their performances so much -- they even got me crying a few times! This. Was. Great! Rating: 8.5/10

This'll be split into the two parts of the play and then some extras or whatever.

PART ONE

Some of the Higawaris that I remember were mostly from Higa: FAS: 太ってるあなたにオススメシェイプアップ F&D: fitness and diet All were aimed at Tanishi obviously xD

As I said before, I couldn't take my eyes of the bench. Especially Jiro, he really caught my eyes during this stage. I spent more time watching what he, and the rest of Hyoutei were doing, rather than what was happening in the main plot and story xD Some things that Jiro did that caught my eye were:

☆Jiro falling backwards while sat on the steps and falling asleep onto Taki xD ☆Jiro dancing during Gakuto's pair song. ☆Jiro being so supportive of his other members and just never stopping!

Other things I spotted from other members on the benches were: ☆Eiji giving Taka a racket and then when it was taken away from Taka just after, Eiji tried to hide from him but Taka stormed over and held onto his shoulders and Eiji just stood in shock like 'omg what is he going to do to me!!' it was really cute and funny.

Speaking of Seigaku: I really like this new Seigaku already! Which is good!! Inui‘s actor can sing really well and he sounded so great! I like this new Seigaku so much that I actually felt sympathy for the Seigaku members; Tezuka's solo was so good and so dark!!! I was crying for Tezuka during his match!! That NEVER happens with me! And Fuji’s solo at the end of part one (Heavy Rain) was so good!!! He sounded great! Also when Fuji and Atobe were dancing together!!!! I ship it!!! They looked so good together! It was great! Also, Momo’s actor is good but his voice feels a bit too low that it’s kinda suffering during the songs he sings.

The day I went, there was only one mistake and the entire audience died of laughter for a good minute which ruined the moment but it was funny: Just after his match when he returned the the bench, Gakuto slipped down the stairs a little and because it was this silent moment between Tezuka and Kabaji, everyone heard and everyone's attention went there. The audience died laughing. All of Hyoutei kept it together during this moment but poor Eiji’s actor was looking over at what happened and he cracked up laughing too. But kudos to pretty much everyone keeping it together and acting completely normal. But for some reasons all the audience just found it so amusing!

Other comments:

☆I love how DARK this stage it! For some reason Tenimyu always seemed like this happy, clappy, fun and games stage but for some reason I found this one SO dark and I absolutely loved it!! I really do enjoy dark plays.

☆Higa are the very first to enter the stage and straight away they are hilarious. They come in from the sides on stupid boats and come down either aisle. Once they get out of their tiny boats (by the way, one is being dragged behind by a rope and ring xD) and on shore, they started rapping. HIGA DID RAPPING AGAIN! It was great! And what was even better is that they got the entire audience to clap along to their song! Which I really appreciated!

☆The first three opening school songs were so strong and so good!! I enjoyed every single one; Higa then Seigaku then Hyoutei. They were really powerful and so enjoyable to watch!

PART TWO

During the breaks between the two arts, I ran out to buy Kaido and Jiro's bromides. I got about 30 minutes into part one before I was like 'duh goddammit I love Kaido! I should've picked them up straight away!' and then damn Jiro came along and my brain went 'shit this kid is too cute! I must support him and get his bromides!' Jiro has always been cute but I've always thought no one would ever out-do was Tomorun did as Jiro but damn Tamura is so cute as Jiro! He's so bouncy and hyper and so funny. Speaking of Jiro; more Jiro adorableness:

☆Jiro sleeping between Oshitari's legs. ☆When Jiro fell asleep on Otori and Atobe, and Atobe lifted Jiro's hand (that was touching his leg) in disgust and pushed it off himself xD ☆Jiro making fun of Eishiro Buchou was absolutely hilarious! He just kept going because the audience were dying of laughter. And then some members were like 'Oi.. OI!' and trying to get him back to the bench.

Jiro needs to be protected. Jiro is a sweetie. Jiro is amazing xD

More Higa moments and Higwaris:

☆During the end of one of their appearances, Rin hit Buchou on the head but when Buchou turned around, Rin had already slipped past and gone off stage, so he thought Kai did it, so he grabbed Kai by his shirt collar and dragged him off stage. Kai's toes were like tiptoes as he was dragged off stage xD ☆There was another moment when the (I think) Buchou said something and Tanishi got really angry and went to attack him but then Shiranui grabbed Tanishi's arm and pulled him back so that Shiranui could attack; Tanishi was super shocked by the strength Shiranui had and the audience cracked up laughing from the twist of events that Shiranui was the strong one in the group. Luckily Aragaki stopped Shiranui from attacking and got him to back off xD ☆Towards the end of the stage, Higa had to break a watermelon with their eyes closed, but they all failed so Eishiro said he would show them how it's done, but instead of a watermelong, Shiranui (I think) pretended to be it and when Buchou went to hit the watermelon, he caught Buchou’s hand and of course Buchou was dumbfounded xD

Lets talk about the giant final match shall we because the entire final match was amazing!

☆Nichika’s pronunciation with all the English lines was really good!! ☆When Echizen and Atobe were having an evil laugh showdown, Atobe's laugh was so gooood!! HOMG... ☆When Echizen threw his cap and Kaido caught it oh so perfectly! I was so impressed with how flawlessly he caught it! ☆Now can we talk a little about Hiroki’s butt? Because damn it was so damn obvious in those shorts!! He has such a good butt! Even from 3rd balcony, I could tell he fit nice and tightly into those shorts... ☆And ohhhmyyyygoooddd can we talk about the amount of hip rolls he did during this damn stage and in different songs and stuff!!! Oh my... ☆Huge kudos to both the boys during the final match because even watching it, I as getting exhausted for them! It goes on for so long and they're constantly running around the stage and Hiroki is doing all his ballet jumps the entire time and stuff! Damn Hiroki must have been exhausted after that! ☆The final match between Echizen and Atobe was so intense and so much dancing and performance. Just damn. I absolutely loved this entire last segment of the stage. So intense, so well choreographed, so well performance and presented. It was phenomenal.

Other comments:

☆Ohhhhh I teared up during the Golden Pair song and I really, really don't like Golden Pair in general, but even they got me in the feels this night!! Which just shows already how much better this gen is! ☆I really liked all the doubles duet song. And all the songs in general I really got into and enjoyed! ☆Just before the final song, the ending is with all the school's songs remixed and it was great! ☆BUT the encore song and dance is silly in my opinion. It was ridiculous. ☆During the EnCore, Kai came to our side!! I have had the best luck with him seriously... ☆During the EnCore song, Echizen was slacking off to the right side of the theatre, and when Tezuka saw him and Echizen got worried and began to move away from him. ☆Kaido made it back on stage just girigiri right at the end of the EnCore song xD ☆I realised today that I like Tenimyu when it’s dark. Like this stage is dark as fuck. But one thing did ruin it, and it was infact Echizen's song. It was a bit too happy clappy and just ruined the dark mood in my opinion xD just keep it ALL dark!! xD ☆Now I know this is going to sound hypocritical but I appreciate that the very end of stage ended on a funny note. Echizen came on stage with a razor and some classical music started playing and Echizen started doing ballet moves towards Atobe but then obviously Taki comes on stage and says he'll sacrifice his hair so begs Echizen not to shave Atobe's xD I think we needed something like this AT the end to just bring us all out of the story and back to reality a bit.
