Something was happening. Shredder pulled away from the door with a loud growl but not of anger. It almost sounded as if he was in pain. His hands went up to clutch at his head, his claws curling under his chin and cupping his head in an almost careful cradle. When that didn't help to sooth him, he started to thrash his head with an angry roar, spitting foam and what looked almost like tar as he slammed his full weight against the containment.
The container hardly moved, but Shredder was insistent. He kept rocking and slamming and spinning in circles like he was rabid.
âUh dudesâ is he okay?â Mikey backed away from the container and ran to hide behind Raph, his eyes wide as he watched the struggling yokai.
âWhat on earthâŚâ Leo narrowed his eyes, his mouth hanging open like a startled frog.
âNot on this earth.â Donnie commented; he had been waiting for so long to say that.
âDonnie!â Leonardo ran to his brother's side, grabbing Donatello and tossing him back to where Krangâs destroyed body suit rested. âLet him out!â
âAre you crazy?â Donnie and Raph cried as one, then immediately glared at each other for copying.
âA little.â Leonardo answered.
Donatello didn't question Leonardoâs order, immediately working to try and free the panicking creature from his trap.
âWhat are you doingâ?! Donât let him go!â Leo tried to reason.
âPlease!â Leonardo ran over to address Leo, taking the massive hands in his. âTrust me!â
Leo stared back at him. For a moment, neither of them moved. Then Leo turned back to his brothers with the slightest nod.
âLet him try.â
âWhatâ but Leo!â Donnie tried to argue. âWe just caught him; we canât let him out!â
âItâs his brother in there, Donnie! He gets to call it.â
The doors hissed open. Shredder stumbled out the doors the minute they were wide enough for him to fit through, and though the bigger brothers immediately braced themselves for what they saw as an inevitable attack, Shredder stopped the minute he got into open ground and could collapse in on himself, the black-as-ink substance leaking from every part of him and spilling out into the technodrome.
Mikey looked down and found it pooling around his feet, immediately pulling away and trying to kick himself free, though it stuck with him stubbornly. âEW! I stepped in Shredder goo!â
Shredder clawed at his eyes and mouth, his own claws leaving deep gashes in the armor that only served to spill more of him out of it.
âWhat is this stuff?â Michelangelo whimpered as he climbed on top of Draxum to get away from the spill.
âItâs the Oni magicâŚâ Draxum said. He looked back up at Shredder. âHeâs dying.â
âWhatâs gonna happen?â Donatello asked.
âI donât knowâŚâ
With a final, piercing cry of a creature's final breath, Shredder screamed to the sky and then collapsed. The minute he crashed, his armor split and fell apart, leaving Raphael in the middle of the pile. A second of stunned silence passed before the armor started to drift up, one piece at a time, and fate away into nothing. Noâ it took Leonardo a second to realizeâ not nothing. It turned into something new.
From each armor was birthed a cloud of pink petals carried on a wind no one else could feel. Raphael flipped over to witness the event as it unfolded, and for a second he was almost certain the petals shifted into a human figure staring down at him. The phantom was gone the next second, drifting away in the breeze and following the rest of the petals through an air duct and out to God-knows-where.
âWow.â Mikey looked down at his now-clean foot, then back up to where the pedals disappeared. For a second, he had been sure he felt the tickle of someone thereâ someone free from a massive weight that had bore down on them. He was certain he must have felt it, and then he was certain he had simply made a mistake because he didn't feel it again. âWell, that was unexpected.â
âThe hell happened?â Raph growled.
âI⌠guess we won?â Donnie offered with a shrug.
âHe left.â Michelangelo said softly.
âRAPH!â Leonardo was the first to run to Raphael, wrapping the snappers head in his and hugging the massive weight against his plastron. Raphael gave a startled yelp, but then fell to laughter at Leonardoâs slick and almost slimy touch. He grunted twice more when he felt the soft and leathery Donatello wrap his arms around Raphaelâs carapace, careful of the bandages that were quickly coming unwrapped, and as he felt the rough and thick skin of Michelangelo as the box turtle hugged his side. Then the soft and squishy touch of April came as she wiggled her way under Leonardo to hug Raphaelâs belly, and lastly the sharp prickle of Yoshiâs bristly fur as the rat took his sons hand and hugged it tightly.
It took Raphael a second to react, but when he did it was to stand up, carrying every member of his family either in his arms or on his shell, and hug them with all the force of a friendly grizzly bear. He nuzzled each of them in turn and when he got to Yoshi his tears were wiped, but they proved to be flowing too heavy and thick for Yoshi to stop the flow completely.
âThere there⌠it is alrightâŚâ Yoshi reached up to plant a gentle kiss on Raphaelâs cheek, which the rest of his family hurried to follow. âYou are safeâŚâ
âI⌠IâŚâ Raphael shook his head as he tried to make the words come out, but all that happened was more tears and a weak whimper as he buried his face once more in the shelter of his brotherâs chest.
âItâs alright, big guy!â Leonardo tried to comfort, âSeriously, if you keep crying anymore, weâre gonna drown!â
Donatello gave a sigh and pulled a tiny cocktail umbrella from his tool belt, holding it above his head to block himself from Raphaelâs tears. Michelangelo kept nuzzling his beak and cheek into Raphaelâs hardened biceps, while April just held on tight for dear life refusing to let go.
Draxum cleared his throat from behind them, and when they turned, they were faced with Draxum holding two sets of weapons. Two Tonfa and a kusari-fundo. Michelangelo gasped and ran to Draxum, taking the weapons from him with a happy squeal.
âOur weapons!â Michelangelo hugged Draxum tightly, burying his face in the boneplates of Draxumâs chest. âThank you Draxum...â
He hugged Draxum a moment more before running off and returning to his brothers, giving Raphael his Tonfa back and earning another hug.
âMaster Draxum?â Cassandra asked softly, finally removing her hood and mask.
âYes, Cassandra.â
âI donât understand...â she said softly, âare we friends with the turtles now...?â
Draxum looked back at her most curiously. âDo you want to be?â
Cassandra looked to the reunited clan. They were hugging each other and kissing and they seemed so happy to be back together! Cassandra thought it over for a short moment in her mind.
âYeah... I think I do.â
âH⌠how long was I out?â Raphael asked. It couldnât have been for too longâ his brothers looked unchangedâ and they were still in the technodromeâŚ
âJust a few hours! No biggie!â Leonardo laughed, putting his hands on his hips after giving Raphael a final pat on the head.
âA f⌠few hours?â Raphael whimpered, âIt felt a lot longer than that⌠it felt likeâŚâ Raphael looked down at his hands. They were shaking and though he put conscious effort into trying to stop them, they only started shaking worse.
âHey, heyâŚâ Leonardo put a hand on Raphaelâs shoulder and squeezed him to bring him back to reality before falling into another tight hug. âYouâre here now. Thatâs all that mattersâŚâ
âB⌠but⌠but how⌠who⌠how did youâŚ?â
âIt was Leoâs plan.â Donatello said, âYou know Leoâs always been good at that kinda thing.â
âLeo⌠led you guys?â
âI wouldnât really say led.â Leonardo motioned vaguely, âMore like⌠uh⌠well, yeah, lef I guess is⌠the word.â
âOhâŚâ Raphael frowned and hung his head.
âHeyâŚâ April gave Raphael a pat on the back, âLetâs get you back to the lair, big guy. Let the docâs check you up.â
âRightâŚâ Raphael got to his feet and almost immediately Donnie descended upon him, flicking down his goggles to read Raphaelâs vitals.
âHow strange. From what I could see, the armor locked into you with Shredderâ I was expecting some fractures, gashes, cuts, something, but⌠now you donât seem hurt at all. Actually, you look almost better than you did when you went in!â
âYeah! How come heâs not all withered and old like Draxum was?â Michelangelo pouted.
âHeâs a mutant, Michelangelo. And he has hamato blood. I have neither of those things.â Draxum answered. âIt was foolish of me to think I could wear the armor in the first placeâŚâ
Leonardo didn't immediately follow his brothers, and neither did Leo. Both spent the longest time just watching their families walk away.
The bay brothers were in the back, straying a little behind the hyper, younger brothers to watch curiously as they went by before following.
âYou sooooo have to teach us how to do that glowy thing when we get home!â Michelangelo cheeped from beside Raphael.
âEr. Glowy thing?â
âYou knowâ how you broke through Draxumâs vines! And your chest was all glowy...?â
Raphael held a hand to his chest with a soft whine. âI donât remember any of that...â
âYou sure you donât wanna scounge for some tech-whatever?â Raph asked Donnie, âI meanâainât like Krangâs gonna need it anymore."
âQuite frankly, Raphael, I would be happy if I never see this place ever again.â Donnie answered.
âSpeak for yourselfâŚâ Donatello gave an evil grin as he rested his head on his bundle of stolen tech, wrapped up in the black suit he was once wearing.
âWhen did you have time to get that?â Michelangelo asked, his eyes going wide.
âOthello Vohn Ryan makes time!â
Raph laughed and shook his head at Donatelloâs antics. He tried to lean over to give Mikey a hug.
Mikey flinched away quickly, his eyes going wide a moment while Raph eyed him with a slight tilt of his head. Mikey gulped. His chest started to feel tight again and he looked to Michelangelo for encouragement. Michelangelo was already looking back at him and gave an urging smile and nod that made Mikey take a deep breath and stop to address Raph.
âI⌠donât really want a hug right now. Turtle powerâŚ?â Mikey smiled and held out his fist to Raph, his eyes almost pleading.
Raph was still at first, but then gave a jovial laugh and met the fist bump eagerly. âTurtle power!â
Leonardo jogged over to be with Leo. âWanna talk?â
âWas it that obviousâ Leo gave a weak laugh.
âEh. I can just read people well.â Leonardo smiled and nudged Leo in the side.
Leo moved away from the touch with a slight scowl but made no comment on it.
âWhat you wanna talk about avocado head?â
Leo narrowed his eyes, but once more bit back a retort. âI wanted to apologize.â
âWhat for?â
Leo blinked, and for a moment he stuttered before he was able to speak more clearly. âI apologize for the way I have acted against you and your brother. Agitating you and⌠and yelling and⌠you still saved my family just now. Sorryâ Iâm not good at apologies.â
Leonardo laughed and gently bumped his fist against Leoâs shoulder. âHey, no problem! Thanks for apologizing though. When we get home, I can tooooootally deck us out with food and drink of choice.â
âYouâre⌠not mad?â
âLife is too short to hold grudges. No bad blood, right hermano?â Leonardo smiled and held out a hand to his counterpart.
Leo stared at Leonardo for the longest time before a smile finally crept its way into his face and he met the fist bump readily.
âNo bad blood.â
"But I will hold this against you in any future arguments, FYI." Leonardo winked, "I never miss an opportunity to diss someone on past mistakes!"
Leo laughed and shoved his counterpart away from him, but Leonardo bounced right back and tried to slam his full weight into Leo to push him back, to no result.
"Hey! That's no fair!"
"Life ain't fair, Nardo!" Leo said, "Get used to it!"

Chance Meeting Chapter Five
Reader and turtles
Donnie bent down and pulled the manhole cover open revealing the ladder down into the sewer. With wide eyes you looked at him then to Leo who was still giving you that adorable crooked smile. They were going to show you were they lived?
âNo bag over the head this time fellas?â
Leo shook his head ushering you towards the open hole in the ground with his hand on the small of your back, âNope, you passed the test.â
âTest?â you asked following Donnie down the manhole slowly.
âYou went to the police station to give your statement and said nothing about us. You kept our secret, didnât even talk to Rebecca about us either. So, we figured we could give you something in return.â You heard Leo call from above.
Donnie helped you from the ladder and with a heavy thud Leo jumped from the street to the bottom on the opening in a single leap. He landed before you in a crouch then stood to his full height never taking his eyes from you. Hot, did it feel hot down here? Â
His large hands moved to your shoulders and you swayed a bit in his grasp. His blue molten gaze almost took the breath from your body and your knees nearly buckled under your weight. This was unfair, did he have any idea what he was doing to you?
âTurn around and follow the bouncing Donnie.â he clucked smoothly turning you with his hands. Allowing the large mutant to move you, you saw Donnie already several feet from you heading down the tunnel. Willing your lead feet to move you quickly caught up to the tall purple turtle and you could instantly feel Leoâs presences just behind you. They were quick.
A 10 minute walk later you were entering into their home, you could see Mikey and Raph playing video games on their TV and Splinter watching from the kitchen table a steaming cup of tea in his furry hands. You watched the old rat for a few moments, his small hands turning the fragile tea cup with the pads of his fingers. His dark eyes focused in on the two turtles laughing and nudging each other as they fought to win. A faint smile pulled at his long snout making your feel warm at the adoration of his sons. Seeing that put to rest the final pulls of uneasiness in the back of your mind.
âWeâre back with our little flower.â You heard Leo chuckle behind you. âLittle flower?â you mouthed silently turning around to give him a look of disapproval. A pet name really?
Leo could see your dissatisfaction with the pet name he had just given you and clicked his tongue in the back of his mouth in amusement. He was having fun pressing your buttons, it was a good way to get to know someone. How much poking and prodding could you handle before your let him have it? Would you enjoy the fun he was having, and could you give it right back? The little display on the surface was an indication you were enjoying it. The gentle brush against him avoiding him completely going straight for his brother was a bold move. He hadnât expected it and was surprisingly disappointed you didnât greet him with the same enthusiasm. Well played.
He found himself craving physical contact with you, anyway to get your scent on him without looking like a creep, he just had to figure out how to make it happen.
You made your way over to the couch that held the two brothers in orange and red. They were playing a video game you have never seen before and the scowl on Raphaelâs face indicated he was not winning. Sitting down on the arm of the couch you watched them battle it out. Out of the corner of you eye you saw Leo move around you and lean down resting his elbows on the back of the couch between his two brothers. Â
âWe have a guest guys, turn the game off and interact.â Leo used a deeper tone for his brothers when he was giving orders. Deeper and a little more powerful, it didnât help the situation between your legs and you swallowed dryly. You watched him stand back up, the muscles in his arms stretching beneath his green skin and walk towards the kitchen to see his father. It was difficult not to stare at his ass as he took the short set of stairs up into the kitchen.
âYeah yeah fearless weâre almost done, Iâm catching up to him.â Raphael growled keeping his eyes on the screen his fingers moving over the controls in a blur.
âNow you two, I told you when Donnie and I left that weâd be back in 30 minutes with her. Youâre being rude.â Leo snapped again turning to face his brothers again. You watched Donnie come up behind splinter resting one hand on his fatherâs shoulder a fresh cup of coffee in the other.
âAhh she doesnât mind.â Mikey quickly looked at you with his sparkling eyes and then back to the Tv screen making sure not to lose his place.
In truth you didnât mind, you still had no idea what you were going to talk about. So, with them distracted you could settle your distracted mind and figure out some questions. Â
If your senses werenât running on over drive you wouldnât have heard the whizzing of the quarter that Leo threw. With precision it connected with the gaming systems power button turning the game off ending their match earning Leo a few choice obscenities from the two angry brothers.
Blinking in disbelief you marveled at the accuracy of Leonardoâs throw. That button was tiny and across the room and he hit it with a fucking quarter. That itself solidified the whole âninjaâ claim, he was good. That was an impossible throw without years of training. You wondered if they were all as good as Leo? Which opened up the line of questions you wanted to ask. Â
After Raph and Mikey whined to Leo about ending their game abruptly Master Splinter raised his palm silencing the two squawking turtles. The look Raph shot Leo was deadly and you figured their relationship was a bit rocky. You would hate to see them duke it out, there wouldnât be anything left to this place.
âMy dear.â Th soft voice of Splinter broke through your thoughts. You looked up to him motioning you forward to the kitchen. Getting up from the couch you crossed in front of Mikey and Raph their eyes on you the entire time and soon followed you up to the kitchen table where you sat near the old rat.
âMy sons have told me you kept out secret and I am grateful for that. They are everything to me and wouldnât know what I would do if anything happened to them.â You saw Donnieâs hand squeeze his fatherâs shoulder a bit at the declaration. Splinter continued after resting his hand on his sons. âAs you can see we donât have many friends. Many people wouldnât accept us with our appearances alone. But we do have a select group; a new reporter, a detective, a camera man and the Chief of police. There are a few police officers that know of our existence but do not know our location. So, we need to be careful who we let into our lives and you my dear have proven yourself. You risked your life for another a stranger at that. You didnât shun my sons or I after being exposed to us and kept our secret to yourself. Weâd like to offer you a glimpse into our lives, do you have any questions for us?â
All of a sudden, all eyes were on you making you feel very hot and anxious. All the questions you had floating in your head were gone along with your stupid voice. You opened your mouth and closed it again when words refused to form. Â âTalk.â You scolded yourself twisting your sleeve in your fingers. They were looking at you, Leo was looking at you, the playfulness gone in his eyes replaced with a stoic stare his lips parted slightly. His tongue darted out wetting his lips which made your throat dry, you needed water. Your eyes moved to the sink and Donnie noticed the frantic look in your eye.
âYou want some water?â he mused moving from behind his father to the sink. His long arm grabbed a glass from the cupboard and poured a generous glass and handed to your greedy hands. Â Once the rim of the glass hit your lips you poured the water down your throat quenching the uncomfortable desert that had formed behind your tongue. Deep breaths, take deep breaths you reminded yourself setting the now empty glass on the counter with a clink. Your eyes returned to the four mutant turtles and their rat father. Swallowing again you licked your lips and made eye contact with Leo who looked suddenly uncomfortable. You could see him swallow and noticed he was looking at your now moist lips, again you darted your tongue out and he visibly flinched his fingers curling into his palms.
You were affecting him as well, good, the cocky bastard. With renewed confidence you remembered all the questions you had thought of and started out with the first one that came to mind. âWhat happened to you that made you the way you are today?â it was the most important question you could think of. From the beginning, you wanted to hear everything from the beginning.
Splinter took the lead and began their story from the start where they were injected with the mutagen in Sackâs lab. He left no detail out as he continued through their lives even the shredder and krang were brought up. Tt had been several years and they all were in their early twenties and had found a nice rhythm to their lives but craved more human interaction. They patrolled the city helping those in need, taking down gangs and all those that threatened the good people of New York. Splinter even let it slip that April OâNeil the reporter was their closest friend but was more like family if anything.
They were the reason you werenât dead from that chemical Erik Sacks wanted to spread over the city years ago and they had stopped that alien invasion. You remembered that day the most. You had been nearly crushed to death by falling debris that had been broken off by a piece of the assembling ship. When it hit the side of the building you were under. You were trapped for almost a whole day beneath it luckily only encased and not crushed. You had sustained several cuts and bruises, but you were lucky to be alive, there were several people who werenât so lucky.
They were heroes, you were looking at real living breathing super heroes. The world owed everything to these four and they would never know it. And that made you sad which must have conveyed in your expression. Â
âIts ok really, we prefer the shadows.â Donnie smiled sitting down next to you.
âBut you could be up there living normalâŚ..well somewhat normal lives. You guys are heroes and are amazing and everyone should know it.â You had a hint of anger in your tone. This was unfair, they lived down in the sewers away from the light. Unable to enjoy the simple things you took for granted. Things like going grocery shopping or going out for a meal at a restaurant. They deserved that, they deserved to enjoy the finer things in life.
âWe donât want a normal life, we enjoy being hidden, helping when we can. Yeah, the sewer isnât the greatest place to live but itâs unique and Donnie has given us all we could ever need down here. The genius even gave us a tricked out garbage truck.â Raph laughed.
In the back of your mind you knew the reason they stayed hidden, you knew the world just as much as they did. This world was cruel to those who were different, no matter the circumstances, no matter what they did. This way they were safe from prying eyes, from blog posts and tabloid newspapers. You would keep their secret to the day you died, and you would be there for them, Whether it was friendship or something more.

âTwo Shades of Greenâ Part 1
Well, if anyone has found my blog yet. Iâm sorry thereâs not much yet. Iâm working on it. I have so many ideas I donât know where to start.
I will jump right in by posting a bit of my first fanfic ever âTwo Shades of Green.â If you do happen to stick around here long enough to read it. Feel free to let me know what you think.
Itâs still a little rough. Iâm still working on it.
***Disclaimer. I donât own anything TMNT. All the characters (except for the ones I add like Immogene) are the property of the amazing people who created them in the first place. I just like to play in the sandbox with them.***
âIs everything ready?â A menacing voice shatters the silence of the room. One of the foot clan glances nervously at Shredders blades, then stammers âYes, Shedder it is. The artist will be here in a few weeks.â Shredder glares at the members of the foot he had chosen for this mission. âI want all of you to leave her alone for now. Let her develop a false sense of security. When I tell you...I want her brought to me. Do you understand?â He had to be clear...everyone that worked for him was an idiot. Shredder sat staring at the newspaper article he held in his hands. April OâNeil had written it, and that was the only reason why he picked it up. It was because of her and those damn green freaks that he was building the Technodrome again, it should have been his in the first place, but Krang had betrayed him. He had taken it over from Krang after unfreezing himself thanks to one more invention from that fool Baxter.
The article contained a picture of April and a woman named Immogene Waters. She was a small town artist and April was showcasing her work. Shredder had decided to buy a piece of her art at an exorbitant price, and arrange for the local big shot gallery to showcase her work. He himself being the mystery benefactor that was financing the show.
It worked in his favor that Immogene actually seemed to be talented. Not that he cared, he just wanted her to serve him. Once the curator saw the article he readily made the arrangements. This time he would get what he wanted. Even better if April cared about her, he would get to kill her while he enjoyed Immogene. He slowly extended his blade into Aprilâs face. As for Immogene, she would be his.
Immogene dashed into the bedroom to find her cell phone which was ringing. Almost tripping on a running shoe that was left in the hallway she curses âDamn I really need to clean up later.â Grabbing the phone she breathlessly says âHello?!â It was her best friend from university, April OâNeil. They were opposites in so many ways, she was petite and gorgeous, whereas Immogene towered over most guys and thought of herself as âjust prettyâ. Aprilâs a reporter and Immogene is an artist. They clicked right away when they met during their Oceanography class. It was the one elective they both had to take, her for Journalism and Immogene for Visual Arts.
âHey Gen! Youâll never guess...Casey and I are finally moving in together.â Casey Jones was Aprilâs boyfriend. They had met a year ago when April got into some trouble, again, with a clan called the foot. Normally April was all about the details, so Immogene was fairly curious as to why she went into a quick description on how she managed to get out of those hairy situations.
April and Casey were an amazingly sweet and together couple...unlike Immogene and her current boyfriend Brian. He was unreliable, critical and full of himself. But, he was really cute (if a little shorter than her) and besides, Immogene was afraid of being alone...âSorry, April what was that?â âGeez Gen, you lost in space again?...âI said I still have 3 months left on the lease on my apartment. I thought since you were coming down here for that art gallery contract I thought that you might want to use it? That way you donât have to stay in a crappy hotel and travel back and forth all the time. No rent necessary!â
April pauses and sighs into the phone âYou need to get away for a while, maybe itâs time you think a few things over.â Immogene considered her friend's words, Sheâd seen pictures of her apartment and it was awesome. She was fine for money for a while after that last painting that sheâd sold. The guy who bought it paid Immogene a ridiculous amount of money for it. A week later she got a call from a gallery in New York. The curator had seen the article featuring her art âthank you April!â and had told her if she was interested he would have an entire show for her art. Apparently, the same guy that bought her piece was helping with the cost to have her show. The curator told Immogene that normally he wouldnât look at someone from such a small town but her work was just too good to pass up. For Immogene, it was a dream come true.
âAll right April, Iâll take you up on your offer. I call you when I have made arrangements.â âAwesome! I think youâre really going to like it here! I have a few friends that you would get along with really well, but Iâll let you settle in first.â Immogene said goodbye and hung up the phone and sat down in the middle of her floor.
April was right, she did need to think. Immogene had recently lost her father in a horrible crash. It had broke her heart. As for Brian, he just wasnât emotionally there for her. One minute he was all over her and the next it felt like he was giving her the cold shoulder. He wasnât the best lover but it was good enough, Immogene guessed. She wanted to let loose a little more in the bedroom and really could only do that when she was alone. One thing Brian refused to do was be even a little dominant. Heâd actually called Immogene a freak when sheâd asked him to hold her arms above her head. He didnât touch her for a couple of weeks over that. Immogene had always been insecure about her body and looks. Her mother was horribly abusive calling her stupid, ugly and fat from the time she was very little. Sheâd grown up with those words echoing in her mind.
Immogene never really felt like she fit in. She was tall for a woman. Being 5â11â she towered over most people. As for her figure, she had curves, a lot of curves. She had a DD chest, hips, and thicker thighs. Her problem was a layer of softness that covered her muscles. She had a little bit of a pooch, and no matter how much exercising she did, and watching what she ate, it stayed. Immogene also practiced Karate every day as a part of her workout and shot her bow. To complete the ensemble she had long wavy to the point of curly brown hair, fair skin and dark green eyes.
Brian would âencourageâ her to eat less and workout harder, except with the bow. Immogene had caught him trying to draw her string one day and he couldnât. From that day on he called her shooting stupid. He kept telling her to keep hitting the workouts because she would be a knockout if she did. Despite all of this, she still wanted to try to work things out with Brian. Maybe a few months of space would do them good. Brian, of course, was fine with the idea and said that he cared about her and would be there when she got back. Immogene wanted to be with him because he mostly accepted her for who she was. As long as she didnât wear heels.
To be continued...
