Shoto is so tightly wound in the first half of the story (for good reason my goodness the trauma and abuse this kid had to endure) but once he’s comfortable and friends with Midoriya, once he’s been saved by him and saved him enough times to understand him he starts to relax, and I love it because he goes from this intense angry kid to literally standing next to Bakugo happily ignoring all of his insults and yelling because duh we’re friends now and it doesn’t really matter what Bakugo says about it, they’re friends like Shoto’s friends with Midoriya and that’s just how it is

#Shoto’s such a puppy personality in the last half of the show #well ok like a combination of a puppy and a kitten #following bakugo and midoriya everywhere but also being so chill and unaffected by emotional outbursts #at least by Bakugo’s outbursts #which come to think of it might be a bit of a trauma response #honestly Shoto looked at Bakugo and Midoriya and though #those two #I want the feral ones #those are my friends #and then he never looked back #Izuku and Shoto’s friendship means everything to me #and I am so amused that their being friends meant Bakugo got dragged in by association #Shoto figures they’re a package deal #listen I love Shoto so much you guys #figured it was about time to say it again #mha #bnha #shoto todoroki
