I was also considering "Ghost is just stuck on a difficult sidequest" but couldn't figure out which one would involve them being missing because i somehow forgot The Path Of Pain Existed

They go on a journey trying to find Ghost n end up finding friendship n respect for eachother ♡♡♡

I can see a very nice lil arc for Iselda going from "I'll protect you guys because you're small n weak." To "I will protect you guys because I value and care for you so much." In the span of a few weeks. If any of them get hurt *cough cough* show off Grandpa Sly *COUGH* she is beside herself in guilt!

They all just want to keep eachother safe and find their goober! (Imagine they're fine and just chilling with Mato lmao /hj)

i mean what . I Mean YOU'RE RIGHT that is a fun character arc for Iselda .... it would be really fun to figure out everyone's Unintentional Character Development as they look for Ghost and accidentally learn from each other along the way i am now Thinking About This

Can confirm i was thinking Ghost is just taking a nap somewhere or hanging out with Hornet or Mato and somehow nobody manages to find them until the very end and they get confused as to why everyone was looking for them
