Emerald: *Manipulates the heroes by putting up a friendly front, kills Penny, traumatizing Ruby and Pyrrha, helps orchestrate the fall of Beacon that entailed hundreds of casualties, takes part in the fall of Haven, assists Cinder in trying to kill Penny (again) and stop her from launching Amity like a day before she joins the team at the eleventh hour, doing little to nothing to regain their trust*

The fact that ~Emerald, who cause the deaths of countless innocents, Penny, Pyrrha, indirectly led to Yang losing her arm, Weiss nearly dying, attacked Penny AGAIN, and was with Salem for over half of the invasion of Atlas that killed more countless people-

was welcomed far quicker than the man who literally helped RWBY every step of the way, put his upmost trust in them by giving them their licenses, new weapons, housed them, trusted them completely with the plan with no secrets, and even listened to them up until they literally went behind his back and their lying was exposed, is my villain origin story.

The fact that the heroes were shown as justified in their reactions to Ozpin, who didn't even do half the shit they did, while painting Ironwood as irrational and should be lied to when he'd done nothing to justify that beyond the American white writers getting scared that a shut down country reeling from a terrorist attack would enforce a curfew, is aggravating.

And it shows because so many people before V8 were actually on Ironwood's side, or at least pointed out that RWBY were being hypocrites and not being held accountable by the narrative! So the writers went "We'll just make him stupid evil and a genocidal general so everyone who sided with him in the previous volume was wrong to do so".

Like, can we all agree they just fucked up writing actual nuance and grey morality already? It's far easier than trying to justify their dogshit writing.

Let's go thrifting together!!

My local thrift store(s) had a special countdown action going on during the last two weeks. Marked items started at 8€ and counted down to 2€ on the last day.

I already went there on the first day of this special action and got an amazing patchwork jacket, a dark green velvet jacket (which I gave to my mum because it fit her without alterations and she loved it aswell) and a dark blue shirt that's very cute and which I already wore to work!

Today was the last day and I scored big!! Found five items reduced down to 2€ (and 3 others for still very inexpensive, which weren't part of the deal but still too gorgeous to leave behind!!)

Upsizing candidates are the two jackets/blazers and the trachten wool skirt. The skirt was just too cute to leave behind and made from wool! Sounds perfect for the colder season!

By the way, I also got groceries while I was out (because food is life) and that's why I had to lug so many bags home! Good thing I filled my little backpack up with totes before I left on my treasure hunt.

Oh!! And the berry coloured/silver striped scarf is thrifted aswell! From the same store too :)

In your AU, how would the boys react to finding out Splinter dated Big mama once upon a time?

So the Drax Bros probably already knew that Lou Jitsu and Big Mama used to be a couple, at least Leo would know, either way they wouldn't consider it that big of a deal. Donnie obviously doesn't know initially, and while Splinter is less secretive with Donnie about his past after Donnie encounters the Draxums, there's till a lot of stuff he doesn't reveal. The romantic aspect of his relationship with Big Mama being one of them. I think it would be funny if Leo accidentally revealed the truth in casual conversation because he didn't think about the possibility of Donnie not knowing that.

Donnie is very tired of the constant big revelations about his chaotic family at this point.
