1) really nothing from 1.0 got scrapped, unless you wanna count chucklefuck?? but he's not really scrapped, we have plans for him later. there WAS a really early iteration of bf where he also had a :3 mouth kinda like gf, but that got scrapped when leo started making the final assets for 1.0.

2) truth be told i actually didn't know those characters existed when 2.0 was developed, or when i was writing the lore for pico's school. i probably would have included them in some capacity, but we can just say "they're still alive and cool with pico, but didn't take up his offer to live in philly under the radar".

3) yes!!!!! get very very excited!!!!!!! (it hasn't been started yet, we're trying to focus on the base game stuff before cycles 1.5 gets finished and gfeast gets started)

4) 2020bf exists to be a shitty "sonic.exe" equivalent to base fnf; the main character kills other characters and he's scary and evil. if we were to go with what we did for zeph in d-sides, using a lesser known character to flip everything on its head, i suppose you could use senpai or spirit instead? i'm not sure, this is all spitballing so don't take it as gospel. i'd probably make him generally the same but use d sides bf as "the vessel" instead.

5) tenma effectively IS "d-sides majin". in sonic cd, when you put in that sound test code, tenma shows up instead. i know THAT bit is confusing, since zeph and zeus aren't xeno and lord x, but in tenma's case, he pretty much is majin.

6) the spooky month guy? i think it'd be funny if he had the antithesis of a van, and he just drove a shitty scooter or something. something you'd see a pizza boy drive, except he's not a pizza boy. he just owns one.

7) slow, but happening. its still to early to give a potential release date, but progress is trudging along.

So Cassandra learns about humanity not being so shitty and Vale could say something about also expressing their insecurities to their father, basically the Pico&Cassandra dynamic with a less dangerous goth/emo/idk

Monster hunter pico design thing

He’s in some kind of underground guild against monsters and the current monarchy. He fights for the freedoms of the common man and the oppressed. He does this by killing monsters and shit or something idk. The goth kids are all monsters btw Cassandra is probably a demon tho. So like I had a idea for alucard for your au. Going off what he says in the love concurs all version of pico’s school about his dad I was thinking about how it would tie back into him being apart of the dearest family, I thought that maybe he would’ve just taken in for custody by the family after his father want to jail and daddy dearest was like a close relative or something ( since he looks the most like daddy dearest) it would be a good explanation on why he would have it be easier to not consider him his son and be more a lot more apathetic him, since he’s not actually his son. Just an idea I talked with some friends on. Love your art btw :)

Man first off I want to address that I think it’s amazing people are paying this much attention to this AU, so like, do NOT take any of what I’m saying after this in vain or anything I think it’s so cool to get asks like this and I think it’s so cool people are making up ideas for it. If you guys have ideas for my AU you are encouraged to keep making up this sort of stuff because I think interpretation and fun in fandom is super cool and if I give you inspiration to do that go on.

THAT BEING SAID, when the Love Conquers game came out I tried for a little bit to see if I could still fit it in, and honestly that’s when I started calling the Extended Family AU an ‘AU’ more. So LC is an alternate timeline/sort of crackfic-y version of Pico’s school, so the events in it aren’t really canon, but the name drops like Harold and the confirmation of Cassandra being an alien can be considered canon (and pico x boyfriend lol).

This means that a lot of my headcanons kind of get, well, they stop being canon compliant. Like it’s hard to say “they were kids” when they bring up teen angst so much and Pico has a boyfriend. With the original game I could bend it a bunch because the original game is silly anyways so who caressss if I make the dialogue make more sense and seem a lot more serious, but if we do take the information in this game as canon then it’s hard to keep the Extended Family thing anything but an AU. Sense, like Cassandra is an alien and Alucard goes extensively on his past which is all very removed from my AU.

Though, we could try to do what you’re doing and try to just make it fit anyways! Take parts we like from that game and fit it here. If we decide Daddy Dearest was his uncle then some of this could still make sense, BUT.

BUT BUT BUT

It also fucks up a lot of the family drama. A lot of young Alucard’s decisions were influenced completely and totally by Cassandra, who he lived with. And his parents, mommy and daddy dearest, weren’t around enough so he was ABLE to be influenced by her in the first place.

It also messes a bit with some of my reasons in this AU why Daddy Dearest is SO protective of Girlfriend. She’s the last kid he has left and after the incident he really tried to commit himself to being the best father he could be, sense he wasn’t for his other two kids. It’s not like he hated his other kids, or hates Alucard even, it’s that he was REALLY hurt by the fact that he was a shitty enough Dad that they ended up that way.

Just some random ideas though! I have a really detailed timeline for this stuff, and a lot of this isn’t out there information on my blog yet. But I do plan to make comics of it eventually, but I mean as I said at the beginning: Go the hell ahead!! Be creative!!! Make your own timelines!!! I support you.

Since Morgana is a only child within the system!au, does that mean dickhead Matthew is actually a good dad to them? I personally HC that he is a good father to them and, ugh as much as I hate saying this due to my own dislike of this dickhead, he raised them right similarly to how his main counterpart done so with Pico.

Which btw is actually rather ironic because some of the abusive shit main verse Matthew pulls on main verse Rae and Morgana? He taught young Pico that sort of bullshit doesn't fly. Rae also definitely taught Pico this too but the fact that Matthew joined in on this is rather ironic considering his true colors. I mean, it's a given since he wants to be a good father to his favorite child, but doesn't make it any less ironic there. And for extra irony points, he doesn't actually realize that HE is a good example of these very abusive assholes. Yes, main verse Pico did made sure to call him out on it and Matthew's reaction can be summed up as "okay maybe I perhaps was a bit of dick but nothing that wasn't unwarranted" or some other bullshit excuse. Hell, maybe he doesn't react like that and instead just gets confused by Pico's anger, acting as if he done nothing wrong and that his abusive shit toward Rae and Morgana were completely warranted

Going back on topic here, system!au Matthew is a good dad to Morgana. Now, before anyone wonders if that means he is actually a good man instead of the abusive shit he secretly is... well... I say that he does mellow out somewhat since Morgana was the only child he and Rae had. At least, early on during Morgana's younger years.

But even then the bastard still had his moments toward poor Rae, though it fortunately doesn't happen too often due to how close his child is with her (yes even here Morgana is a momma's boy lol).

Now, had Matthew been a little different - say like more willing to self-reflect on his actions and perhaps, y'know, doesn't have his head as much up his ass and so on - than perhaps he would have continue to improve for the better and maybe even become the sweet charming witty man that Rae initially thought he was when the two dated each other.

But that's not what happened here.

Throughout Morgana's elementary school years, Matthew, rather than continuing on the path of improving himself and becoming a better man, instead, to quote a friend, "slip up more and more, and slowly but surely ruining what progress he managed to made. Not that he was actively trying to better himself as a person, mind you, but he probably would have even become somewhat better had he continued on with this path- but nah. Bastard instead reverts back to being a piece of shit because unfortunately he's a shitty person by heart".

This lasts until somewhere around the last months of Morgana's final elementary year. School ended a good hour or two early that day due to special occasion and a friend and their mom offered to drop Morgana off home, which they accepted! Morgana then comes in, all excited to see mom and dad, a big smile on their face...

Only for that smile to drop soon after, a look of utter shock on their face. Why so? Because they walked in on their dear old daddy being a abusive shit to their mother.

Now what exactly happened here, well, me and friends couldn't decide tbh! However we all agreed that whatever Matthew done was horrible enough to shatter the pedestal his child had him on that he'll never be able to rebuilt. Completely. Oh and the fact that he actually tries to downplay his actions to Morgana's face after they interrupted the fight (because of course they would to defend their momma) only drops him down even further in Morgana's eyes.

Now what happens next I'll leave it up to you there. But friends and I say that this was the turning point. Matthew of course tries his best to salvage his relationship with Morgana, but the damage was done.

Not to say that Morgana didn't give their father several chances because he did.

It's just that Matthew never STAYS being good. He'll always seemingly improve for a bit, ONLY to slip up later on - and it was ALWAYS when Morgana started to become even a little hopeful that maybe their father was really trying. Morgana eventually comes to the painful realization that Matthew was never the good man they thought he was and that all his attempts at trying to "do better" are not so much serious attempts at becoming a better person but more like somewhat half-hearted attempts that MIGHT HAVE BEEN SOMEWHAT SINCERE BUT MATTHEW COULD NEVER STICK TO IT.

So yeah. Needless to say, Matthew was eventually kicked out from the house not too long after that. :]

Okay. Fucking. Wow, um…

So, yo. I just decided to swing by your blog after a long while of being away from tumblr (been doing more work on FA and youre URL popped into my head one day) and, um… Saw all of The Discourse ™ about that webcomic that’s been getting popular all of a sudden?

I just wanted to give my thoughts on the entire situation as someone who knew you from your early days on tumblr (Please… don’t try and figure this out, I’d really rather you didn’t). 

So, um… First of all, if anyone thinks that you’ve gone over to the side of policing what can be enjoyed in fiction or not needs to think twice. You’re one of the most fucked up porn writers that I used to have the pleasure of speaking with (your earliest BEST fandom stuff was either people getting cut up or getting their guts literally fucked into or your rape fetish stuff with you and your ex’s OCs or the shota stuff). It was fucked up… Hell, remember Spandexverse? How did those people who got mad describe it?

‘A super special AU where Link gets kidnapped and raped a whole awful lot?’ Oh my God, those were the fucking DAYS@=!

But you did it good. Had to clear out my internet history before going back to art school, but it was good.

I actually think that you were happier then. 

Around when Tumblr started becoming more of this sjw/anti-sjw battlefield (maybe it was back when you were defending that porn horse comic I don’t know I was moving shop back then), I think you started thinking that you had to be more careful.

Anyway… Going back to the matter at hand. I read a good portion into the comic that started all of the discourse and….. It was kind of boring. Just… boring. I may think that both you and the other person got way too heated but yeah, it was just kind of boring. 

Like, when did people start being so offended by someone saying ‘This is shit’? Like, are they banging down Jim Sterling’s door (I don’t know if you like him or not, whatever if you don’t) every time he makes a shitty steam game of the week video? And, real talk, the post that started all of this bullshit wasn’t even saying ‘FUCK PEOPLE FOR LIKING THIS’, you were just joking around with anon. Fuck me, what a shitshow though. Like, I get it, I do: the kids on this site are fucking annoying in defending their fictional husbandos and waifus but God damn, that was ridiculous. 

They do realize that back in the day when all of us were getting into Naruto and Inuyasha or Big O we had a bunch of people around to call those shows shit or call them 'Jap-Crap’ if they were feeling particularly malicious. I think we may have tried to convince them otherwise a few times but, at the end of the day, we fucking learned that 'look, it may be shitty but I’m enjoying it and, when life sucks, that’s enough’.

Like, I could understand if that person said 'stop using gay guys as a crutch in this’ (you weren’t, but that could have at least been an argument). You just made a joke in response to an anon’s statement and they turned it into a tirade. 

You know what I’d like everyone to do? You to stop being scared and go back to the 'devil may care attitude of writing gangrape and beastiality’ (please stop writing vanilla, it hurts to see you wasting your talent writing vanilla) and for everyone to realize that everyone is allowed to say 'this thing is shit’ without having to worry about bringing down the wrath of a hundred angry teenagers.

Okay, I had to break my hiatus for a little bit to respond to this because this is a pretty sizable message and if someone spends the time to do a write-up like this I think it’s rude to ignore it. 

I’ll just let that sit for a moment. Okay.

First off anon (I think I know who you are but I won’t say, as per your wishes), Ip it - zay on the ota-shay..! 

No, I’m kidding. I make no secret in the fact that I used to write shota/pederasty or all of that other content. However, if I had the ability to travel back to the past, I would walk up to younger me and say ‘you can write better, stop being lazy you piece of shit’. Because it wasn’t the best writing I’ve ever done.

There is nothing wrong with fucked up stuff in fiction, that’s not even what I was upset about. At the end of the day, you can write about Adolf Hitler fucking Harriet Tubman who’s taking a dump on the Dead Sea Scrolls for all I care. I just don’t like it being lazily executed. 

Although I don’t think anyone is thinking that I’m policing content. Oh God, I hope not. Ew… Just because I criticize something doesn’t mean I want it gone, God..!

And, hey! I have not been writing vanilla! I’ve been… I’ve…

G looks really shitty and I don't wanna redraw him, so is for H and C. I will still make art of the au and draw new characters but I WON'T make ANY more ref sheets. We all have a vague idea on how shitty Morgana's life is normally. Let's see how shitty it is in the Punk Demon!AU, shall we?

(Also sorry in advance. I was in a mood when I thought of this, but tbh, I had an idea that their life would be bad before this)

Warning: abuse, small mention of self harm. Also pretty spoiler-y of Magnet for Danger Part 2

After the events of the shooting, Otis was sought out by the higher ups, and was tested for his strength and devotion. The reason for this is because a few realized that it was Pico who was able to take down the corrupted angels, specifically weapons that he got from already dead soldiers within the school. That strength was admirable, but since Pico fell, they went to see if he had other family members that could do the same, thus Otis getting recruited.

Otis was convinced to train for the higher ups in order to stop future incidents from happening, if they were to happen at all. He didn't want the chance for anything else to hurt his family, so he agreed. A few years in training, and Otis became one of the elite officers in the Holy Society, able to secure order and law by himself. He's even been able to go to the Human society to deal with any hidden demons that attempted to attack the Holy society before.

Now, the same thing happened to regular Morgana, and that's they suffer from schiznophrenia as well, being able to hear Pico's cries and see fire burning everything around them, so they had to live with Otis to get away from it. The higher ups tried to get Morgana into training as well, but both Otis and their mother refused this, claiming it's too dangerous, and they're still recovering from the incident.

What drove Otis to go to the Human society to try and locate Pico was because of a friend, who was able to tell an angel's whereabouts through a broken item of theirs. That person was Olivia (oooo~!) On the anniversary of that day, Otis decided to give her a piece of Pico's burnt sweater, which was the only thing saved from the incident, just to see if she could find anything. Surprisingly enough, she did! Olivia began crying from the pain that Pico has felt, and she had explained to Otis that he's alive in the Human world, but he doesn't seem to be a full angel anymore. She can't pinpoint it, but she can sense immense pain and darkness now.. but he's alive. That's when Otis begged his officials to let him explore the Human world for his cousin, since he's been such an outstanding elite for them.

They let him go, under one condition: Morgana has to be under their care while he's gone.

They won't train them to be an officer, but they'd still watch over them, claiming they are too young to live on their own. Seemingly not having a choice, Otis agreed, thus having Morgana live in an institute for the time being. Otis didn't tell Morgana that Pico was alive, as he didn't want to get the other's hopes up if he came back empty handed, but he vagued that he would find information about him, and he'll be back soon. Morgana hesitated, but they also agreed, and let Otis search for the fallen angel.

It should've been ok. It should've. But it wasn't.

The institute was so much more stricter than Morgana has ever been in. They weren't allowed outside without supervision, they weren't allowed more care than needed, they had to study and be tested for what they knew, and they were only allowed a phone call when Otis called first. It essentially felt like prison, despite looking so much nicer and well kempt than an actual prison. If they did anything "wrong" or were too slow in handling a task, they were "disciplined": cursed, starved, locked in their room, the list goes on. The only thing they DIDN'T do was beat, and that's because that would leave a visible wound.

It became so painful, they tried to escape, but all it did was force a curse mark on his ankles; if they ran too far from the institute, the mark will burn their ankles, until it sliced through, cutting their feet off. They tried to go throught the pain twice, but it became too much to bare, so they were forced back inside. The marks would disappear when Otis came back. Nobody would tell Otis about the treatment, even Morgana, who was too afraid to "speak out of turn".

The only visible pain that Otis was were Morgana's wings. They would pull and yank on their feathers, trying to forget the mental pain with a physical one. Essentially self harm. They now look tattered and broken, so Morgana would hide them within their back to avoid concern. When Otis went to his officials and asked about it, they claimed it was out of stress from being alone for too long, and that Otis should give up on this pointless search. The darkness that's within Pico may have something to do with demons, so it can very well mean that he converted to their way of life. Otis didn't want to believe this, but it also convinced him more to find his cousin, to save him.

Otis left twice. This is his third time down (and his last chance to find Pico). When he walked over to the portal that would send him down, Morgana mentally begged him not to go, stay here, don't leave him with THEM. When Otis entered and looked back with a comforting smile, Morgana tried to run in with him, but it closed off before they could go through. Otis noticed this and wanted to go back to see why Morgana looked so afraid, but time was already ticking. He had to come back with results, for Morgana's sake..

There was once that OLIVIA went to check on Morgana, not out of Otis' request, but because she felt something off from afar. They hadn't planned to have her see Morgana, but it was too late, when the teen cried at their "caretaker" not to punish them again. She rushed inside to hug them, tears immediately falling from how much pain she sensed from them. She demanded an answer, but she was only met with a slam to the wall, knocking her out instantly. Morgana immediately ran to her and begged them not to hurt her. They'll accept whatever punishment for them, they'll do whatever they want, just don't hurt her! With that, they wiped her memory of ever coming here and took her back home, before going through with Morgana's bargain.

Why would the institute do all this to begin with? Because Morgana was "defective". You're an Angel; you're not supposed to have mental issues. You're supposed to be a perfect and pure being that the Humans looked up to. What kind of human would feel safe and at peace with a depressed angel that heard screaming and saw fire? Your depression is having you fail your classes, making you lose focus in basic tasks, making you cry over something that isn't there anymore.. it's a spit in the face to the Lord itself! You need to be fixed into a perfect angel, and we will do whatever it takes to make it happen. Don't do bad things, nor do things the wrong way, and you'll be "saved".
