This is an older release from Banpresto - predating the Heroes Brave line (their current statue figure series) by more than a decade.

It's a gorgeous figure - beautifully expressive sculpt with *stunning* texture work and paint. It's hard to believe this was made to be a crane game prize in Japan.

Even more unbelievable is that I picked this up on clearance back in 2010 - I paid $7.00usd

Including shipping.

A piece like this could easily be the centerpiece of a collection, and at the time you could spend a $10 bill on it and still have change for coffee. Hard to imagine it was ever that easy!

Now you can easily find it for $40 online - which isn't a horrible price at all. Especially for such an impressive piece. I wish Banpresto would bring this impressionistic style to their current Rider releases.
