For the upcoming final chapter of KWSBW in 3 days. Here is the splash page of KWSBW ch. 1. I remember back then I was just searching for a manga to read when the chapter 1 of the KWSBW appeared at the top of new updates of the manga site. I immediately clicked the thumbnail cause I thought the artwork was good(Eiji is the one on the thumbnail).

Looking at the splash page back then, I guessed who the ships were and I came out with EijixKoharu and BesshoxIkezawa (Sorry Taichi!). Before reading the chapter 1, I paired Eiji and Koharu cause they kinda look good together, A girl who is smiling sadly and a boy who kinda had problems but he smiles optimistically and I’m a sucker for redhead MCand pigtailed girl FMC. As for Ikezawa and Bessho, well Ikezawa really gives off the strong woman vibes and Bessho gives out the mature vibes which I think they will fit together.

After reading the first chapter, I admit I was disappointed that at the end it was EijixIkezawa and BesshoxKoharu. In shojo formula, whoever the girl that the MC interacted and made her blush will be the main love interest. But despite of it, it was executed good and left me wanting more so yeah I figured that Ikezawa aint bad for Eiji. But it's just the start of the story! I don’t want to give up hope on my ships! Stuffs like Eiji and Koharu haven't met yet, I want to see them interact and still hoping that Bessho and Ikezawa will interact more. So yeah I stuck on this manga until Eiji and Koharu or Bessho and Ikezawa interacted more.

Then chapter 6 came which the story took an interesting route with Koharu and Eiji. That really got me hooked more in this.

Koi Wo Shiranai Bokutachi Wa will have its last chapter on the 13th. Let give Mizuno-sensei our best support for this manga’s upcoming finale. As for me I already filed a vacation leave for that day lol

Izumi's POV

Because I move house a lot, I don't have many close friends, especially female friends. So when you greeted me, Koharu-chan, I was very happy. Moreover, you are also Eiji's girlfriend. Eiji is Nao's and my best friend.

This is the first time for me to know a girl friend who is asupple and friendly as you. You approached me without Eiji needing to introduce you to me. You are very pleasant to me. I hope we can continue to be friends forever.

Sometimes your attitude makes me confused, but I want to understand about you. How do you want to trust me? How do you want to open yourself to me? Why are you so hard to understand? Am I too insensitive to your feelings?

So, when you are honest with me even though it is a painful thing, I am very relieved. I'm sure this fact not only hurts me, but it also hurts you. The painful fact for me is because you approached me because you intended to approach my boyfriend. While the reality hurts for you is because of your feelings that you cannot control. In the end you think it's wrong.

Thank you for being straightforward to me. I'm sorry for not understanding you. I don't think you need to apologize for me. It's enough for me if you forget your intention to take Nao from my side. I hope we can still be friends as usual because I still like you. If you wish to remain my friend, I hope you are always open to me like that day.

Review: This is one of my favorites because the story is for sweet and there is drama between the group of friends. I really love reading stories with a group of friends because you get to see more than one couple. The art is also really beautiful and satisfying to the eye.

Koi Wo Shiranai Bokutachi Wa 43(final chapter)

Beautiful... Just Beautiful 😊

Not gonna lie. Ikezawa and Taichi scenes were easily overshadowed by Eiji and Koharu scenes at the end. Still there were good moments like when:

-Ikezawa and Eiji reflect on her decisions last chapter and made her cry because of her pride. At the end of it It is Koharu made her realize that there's nothing wrong at her decision. It just needs to have a good time management so that she can go with senpai and the concert at the same time. Koharu even lended Eiji to Ikezawa so that it will not be a date with the senpai

- The talk between Ikezawa and Taichi before the concert. This is where the chemistry between them starts oozing. Taichi ask Ikezawa that in the middle of the concert he will confess to her and he asks her to reply. Ikezawa said that she will indeed reply. How she answered this was savage 😁 Unfortunately the confession was off screen but because it's off screen that it led to Aihara's beautiful words to Koharu later on.

- Too bad Koharu missed the concert but thats ok. Her screen time alone is always a pleasure to read.

- But Eiji is there waiting for her and both of them express how much they want to see each other. They have their own ways to show how they missed each other like Koharu hugged Eiji and Eijj felt out of place on the concert cause Taichi confessed to Ikezawa which Izumi thought that it was a beautiful confession and started crying which she was comforted by Bessho. Since Eiji feel out of place he suddenly miss Koharu and went to wait for her part time job to finish. Very sweet thing to do Eiji! 😊

-Another thing to catch is Taichi and Koharu’s mess are resolved, no hanging plots and for that Eiji is happy with it. No one ended up like his past self. 😊

At the end with Eiji and Koharu:

Eiji beautifully threaded all his words until the end. Especially his smile when he is asking if the ring became heavy! That smile shows like Koharu is the best thing in the world! Koharu would definitely cry! Her Monologue at the end also kinda stings with her getting emotional. She is definitely happy that she fell in love with Eiji and initiated that kiss. As she said 'Happiness'... That made my heart melt. Mizuno-sensei made it like they married and she really drop the bomb on the final part cause it was done excellent!

I actually reread this part with background music named Light Flight by FujiFabric and this final part became more memorable and awesome 😁

Ah shit. I'm getting emotional also cause this is the last time! I felt its unfair that it suddenly ended just like Beelzebub back then yet again sensei gave her best this last chapter and she ended it on high note. Yeah, maybe there will be extra chapters but I'm gonna miss those 12th or 13th nights of the months where I always anticipate the new chapter and I take a vacation leave for this every month. Also because of this manga that I learned how to read japanese. Well not really 100% but enough to read out katakanas and hiraganas with the help of google translator...lol

Thank you Mizuno-sensei for bringing us a well crafted romance manga. This work of yours deserves a space on my shelf and I will definitely buy those volumes i havent had yet. Hoping for some extra chapters of Koiboku so I can post more Koiboku content in future. To Koiboku fans, I'm glad that I'm able to join you on this journey, its been good while it lasted. Don't be sad because it had ended but smile and let us be grateful that we're able to experience and read this kind of manga. All thanks to Mizuno-sensei 😁

KWSBW 36: Further highlights for me and some analyzing...

Just a follow up on my first post cause when I did that I was so sleepy. Because of that I did not analyze it further, especially on taichi, ikezawa, koharu scene.

Here goes:

- Plot is moving fast… is it possible to resolve all this on this ball game tournament? lol. Yeah at this point we may reach the climax soon. But I still wanna see how Eiji will cherish his girl >_<

- Lol Eiji’s feelings at the start of the chapter are a jumbled mess. He certainly feels confusion and frustration. I think more of it comes from the frustration of why he can’t break Koharu’s defenses or what he is saying not going through her. By accidentally saying she is cute, certainly he got a different reaction from her. Take a hint already Eiji!!!

- Koharu was always running away from him. There’s a high possibility that Eiji will do a Kabedon to her in future. Please Eiji do it XD

- Eiji, once things had calmed down, analyzed further his past and present interactions with Koharu. Looking back on chapter 24 and 25. He just said and did things reckless back then like by telling her she still has him and him pulling her away from the crowd she starts crying. Telling her that she is cute is no different from what his interactions are to her from the past. Only difference now is he realized his feelings for her.

- Eiji can list all of the cons about the Koharu. Things he hates about her, things he can't stand, things she does, say, habits that she has that absolutely make him annoyed, upset, even angry. He can write down the aspects of their personality that don't match him at all. And YET. Despite ALL OF THAT, He is still concerned about her and still wants to protect her.

- But anyways, Take already a hint Eiji on her weird movements! Aaarggghhh. Nao is also pointing out that it seems weird that Koharu avoids Eiji. You know her best Eiji. You are the key to this love polygon. Now that you know your feelings please chase her. I wanna see you working hard on the one you love.

- I can’t help but think that Shiosaki’s role now has become like Ikezawa’s glasses friend. (Shiosaki Izumi fans pls dont hate me on this. haha). But still... Shiosaki do your best on supporting Koharu no matter what!.

- Good news: Ikezawa will be cheered on her efforts by another one this time. Bad News: that another one is Koharu, the girl that makes Eiji worry. LOL. Irony.

- Koharu is now blinded/desperate on how to stop being close to Aihara-kun. Being like that gives you tunnel vision and I can’t help but think that since Ikezawa is already suspicious of Koharu's motives, of course she will think why Koharu is doing that. I think Ikezawa will outsmart her once they confront Eiji. OR Ikezawa will let Eiji decide when the time comes

- What Koharu said in regards to supporting should be relatable for the three of them.

- Taichi, like I said before... Don’t be a martyr and Don’t be an Eiji!. You have to do something to fill the void that Ikezawa left on you (referencing Chihayafuru 229 hahaha). Have a plan this time. Have a talk with Eiji.

- Eiji, worried about Ikezawa and Taichi. Also Koharu worried about Ikezawa. You two really are alike.

- Koharu, don't do it. Don't take all the burden on your own. But yeah I realize that this is no ordinary shojo manga and I love the drama  XD

-  ALL THANKS TO SUGI!!! That we have Eiji realize his feelings on Koharu. He deserve that character spot below on first page... but hoping that he will be shown there only on this chapter XD

Welp thats it. Well I’m all on the side of everyone being happy, but I think future chapters would bring more drama. Hey I’m on for the wild ride of that. I feel that by the end, it will be so rewarding.

I would just point out that Koharu needs Eiji in times like this. The way they resolve their problems together on Nao-Izumi arc versus on how Koharu resolve things now, It becomes clear that she needs someone beside her, that would understand her and that is Eiji(Sorry Shiosaki but I still appreciate your intentions and friendship). I hope Eiji can express his feelings clearly when the time comes and don’t let her get away!.

KWSBW 36

Finished reading Koi wo shiranai bokutachi wa 36. The chapter started off where chapter 35 ended. 

Highlights for me:

- This chapter should be called ‘How to push away Eiji 101’ lol

- On start of chapter, Eiji realizing that the kiss is the same scenario where he kissed Izumi using his instincts.

- We can really tell that Koharu just wanna get out of there to avoid Eiji

- Eiji getting jealous when Koharu mentions Taka’s name

- But yeah I pity Eiji here like he is being cockblocked by Koharu

- I can certainly feel Eiji’s confusion on his feelings. He can’t point out exactly what he wants to say. 

- So in his confusion, he just blurted out one of the things he want to say to her which is Koharu is cute. Which is also a good surprise attack....maybe I should use this also as a surprise attack in rl

- Koharu, caught off guard on that. Funny thing is, it took her a while to realize what he said. You can tell also that she is suppressing her emotions before she covers her face.

- Woohoo Koharu being vulnerable is good to see. I laughed out loud at this part. It doesnt help that Eiji thought that he hit a jackpot that Koharu’s reacted strongly on what he said. I like that Eiji easily read her or noticed her flustered behavior

- So yeah Koharu walks away again to hide her emotions. Please don’t run away anymore Koharu.

- But oh boy, we can see that she really wants Eiji. She wants to be spoiled by him. But yeah seeing Ikezawa greatly convinced her that she should not be loving Eiji :(

- Maaaannn, Naohiko is such a brother. Thanks to him Eiji realized what feelings he is experiencing for Koharu right now and his feelings for her back then.

- The Summer festival where it all started... I always thought that was the pinnacle moment of Eiji and Koharu. The spark that has been made there is goes way beyond deeper than Eiji’s feelings about Nao and Izumi at that time.

- I hope somebody assumes/notice sooner that Koharu is inlove with Eiji! Please anyone... before she destroys herself

- Back to Koharu. She is now determined to shut down her feelings for Eiji I think. This made Koharu now do drastic measures.. even considering on dating Sugi? Did i read that right?

- Shiosaki please stay by her side always. Koharu certainly needs someone right now :(

- Ok another way to shut her feelings for Eiji is to help Ikezawa to be loved by Eiji. Seeking help from Taichi well is a good way to it and I laughed at how Ikezawa called it as strategy meeting when she accidentally overheard it

-  Koharu, convincing Ikezawa is a Gold moment. It’s like she is convincing herself...

- Rejoice EijixIkezawa shippers. Koharu is confirmed to be a shipper of this ship too. She will see to it that this ship will be sailed... until Eiji will jump off the ship.

- Taichi please do move now. Don’t be a martyr and Don’t be an Eiji!. Or else you will regret not doing your best on loving Ikezawa.

I understand Koharu but yeah I wanna see how far she can go. Now that she is taking drastic measures like I mentioned on my review of chapter 34. I felt like all the feelings that she is suppressing until now will gonna burst out one day and I hope Eiji will be there for her when that time comes.

6. Hang out together (3)

[Aihara Eiji, Fujimura Koharu, Shiosaki Izumi, Besho Naohiko]

Somehow Eiji and Koharu quarreled again in the middle of dating. Eiji said, "You always like that! You don't want to hear me!"

"Ha! It's your fault because you can't understand me and what I want!" Koharu argued.

"You are selfish!" Eiji said angrily, "give attention to my feelings too!"

"What are you saying?? What I choose purely for your sake! Couldn't you see how I held myself back because of you!?" Koharu protested.

Eiji added, "True! It's just your mind! You always like that! Remember that time you always said Ikezawa this & Ikezawa that! You pushed me to get closer to her! You didn't know how I felt that time!"

"Think about yourself! You did the same, didn't you?? You said I should ask Shimatani or Mamiya to pretend to date me!" Koharu argued.

"Just pretend! How could those be the same!? Those are totally different!"

"How could those be different!?"

Meanwhile Izumi and Nao just see without intention to interrupt their argument. Izumi whispered, "See? They are fighting again."

Nao responded, "Nah. I just see they're only flirting with each other."

Izumi agreed, "True. We used to see them like that."

Then Izumi & Nao have the same thought, "How compatible they are."

5. Hang out together (2)

[Besho Naohiko, Aihara Eiji, Fujimura Koharu, Shiosaki Izumi]

So, finally Koharu and Izumi chose the rides together at the park that afternoon. Meanwhile Eiji and Nao bought crepes and drinks for the four of them to eat before going around.

"How is your relationship progressing?" Nao asked Eiji. He wants to make sure all the misunderstandings between them are clear.

Eiji took a deep breath. "Same with before: full of argument. How do I say it... she's selfish and always has a different opinion with me!" Eiji complained, "but sometimes I feel she's sweet and that her preference is because of me."

Nao smiled, glad to hear that. "Although you haven't considered it, I see both of you always on the same frequency, and same level of stubbornness, so that you can argue at everything."

"Really?" Eiji asked unsure.

The two of them walked toward two girls who were waiting on the chairs. The girls were having an exciting conversation about something. They didn't realize that their boyfriends were approaching them.

"So, that time he didn't consider who I meant himself," said Koharu.

"Ahaha, that's his stupid part, Koharu-chan!" Izumi responded.

Nao saw Eiji's expression hearing their conversation and he smiled a little. Somehow it felt funny.

"But sometimes I feel he's sweet and that his preference is because of me," Koharu also said.

This time Nao saw something rare. Eiji was blushing because Koharu's words felt similar, even exactly the same, to his words earlier. "Pfft," Nao held his laughter.

Eiji glanced at Nao. "What?" He asked.

"Nah," Nao just answered, covering his broad smile. He still held his laughter until his shoulders trembled.

4. Hang out together (1)

[Besho Naohiko, Aihara Eiji, Shiosaki Izumi, Fujimura Koharu]

"Izumi asked me when we can hang out together again? Maybe this weekend...?" Nao asked Eiji when they were on break time.

"No. It's better if it's just two of us," Eiji said bluntly. This time he answered without other intention. But Nao's reaction was still the same as before: quick shivering.

PING.

Izumi read messages from Nao then laughed happily while giving her phone screen to Koharu, "Eiji said that he wants to monopolize Fujimura so we can't hang out together again."

So when Koharu and Eiji went home together, Koharu confirmed to Eiji about that message. "Hmmm, do you want to hang out together with them?" Eiji said with a naughty grin, "if so, maybe I'll agree after I get a kiss from you."

"What!?" Koharu said. She blushed because of his idea. Not because she didn't want to do that, but she thought hard to initiate the kiss from herself. Eiji liked her expression at that time so that he can't be helped if he wants to kiss her again.

"Oops," Eiji said after a flash kissing, but he thinks that's too short so he wants to do it again, "one more time."

11. Who has changed you?

[Shiosaki Izumi, Fujimura Koharu, Senami Taichi]

"Koharu-chan, lately Sugi-kun doesn't seem to bother you anymore," Izumi said while looking at Sugi's seat away from Koharu, "has he given up now?"

"Who knows," Koharu responded, "so I can be at ease now. Thank you for your advice, Izumi-chan." Indeed Izumi gave the suggestion to reject Sugi by bringing up the names of another guy. Izumi's idea is somewhat similar to Eiji's idea, but without the need to pretend going out with the guy. Then Koharu said it to Sugi without bringing his real name.

"Nah. I didn't do anything," Izumi said.

Izumi remembered what Koharu had said to Sugi that day, "He is irreplaceable. Because of him, I changed so much. So, even if I can't be with him, I still love him."

Izumi wondered who had made Koharu change? Maybe he's Nao? But after discussing it more with Nao, then she thought maybe he's... Eiji?? Then Izumi remembered Eiji's request last night. "Uhm, Koharu-chan, are you free after school?"

Koharu was stunned for a moment. She felt somewhat deja vu with Izumi's question. "Today I don't have a part time job, but ..."

"Fujimura, don't forget that we'll discuss the concept for the competition after school in the music room, okay?" Taichi said and Koharu agreed immediately.

"Do you need my help?" Koharu asked Izumi.

"Ah, no. Maybe next time," Izumi answered while shaking her both hands. Then she secretly sent a message to Eiji.

21. Their togetherness (3)

Finally they arrived at the peak. They sat under a large shady tree and stored their luggage. Izumi released an album that she bought with Koharu. She has filled the album completely with many portraits of their togetherness.

"It's a lie if I say I'm not sad after knowing your decision to continue your studies there," Izumi admitted, "but I don't want to be selfish to forbid you to do it! I will support you, Nao, so don't hesitate if that is your choice!" Her tears began to flow. "Sorry, I don't understand why I can't control ..."

Suddenly Nao hugged Izumi tightly. He really understood how Izumi felt because he felt the same way. "Izumi, I love you," he said.

Izumi also hugged him tightly. "I know, I know," she said while crying, "I love you too, Nao. Because of that ..."

"No, Izumi, I can't be far from you ..." said Nao in a trembling voice, "therefore, can you go with me there?"

Izumi hardly believed what she heard. "But, Nao, my parents..."

"Let's discuss this with them! If they give conditions, let's fulfill the conditions," Nao said, "let's struggle together!"

Although her tears still flowed, Izumi smiled happily and answered confidently, "Yeah, sure!"
