5OMG EVERYONE, Oricon just released the 1st week sales number of ShinkenRanbusai 2018 BD/DVD on their website and to put it mildly, it is huge!

I’m glad to be able to report this number to you

So on the 1st week of the released the DVD sales number is

12,652 COPIES!!!!!!!!! Ranking it the 3rd best selling DVD of the week after Hey!Say!JUMP (185,486) and Johnny’s WEST (13,560) (TouMyu might actually be Nelke’s plan to enter the idol industry lol)

and for the BD OMG...

They sold

23,424 COPIESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RANKING THEM 2nd Best selling BD OF THE WEEK (300 copies behind Aqours)

In the 1st week alone TouMyu sold a combined BD/DVD of 36,076 COPIES!!!!!!!!! MAKING THIS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL TOUMYU BD/DVD EVER!!!!

For the records 1st week sales number for past TouMyu production that I have records of are

SRS2016 : 16,124 copies

SRS2017 : 27,177 copies

Bakumatsu Tenrouden : 18,238 copies

Mihotose no Komoriuta 2017 : 25,223 copies

Tsuwamono ga yume no Ato : 22,623 copies

Musubi no Hibiki, Hajimari no ne : 12,047 copies

Atsukashiyama Paris 2018 : 11,394 copies

Itsukushima Jinja : 13,677 copies

Kashuu Kiyomitsu Tanki Shutsujin 2017 : 12,829 copies

Kashuu Kiyomitsu Tanki Shutsujin 2018 : 5,870 copies

So the trajectory of TouMyu is all over the place, but one trend is quite certain now is that ShinkenRanbusai sales just kept getting better and better, they added 10k more copies sold in its 1st week each year. If that trends hold, SRS2019 with the 4 new Touken Danshi and a possible return of our beloved Taichou SRS2019 BD/DVD might even break 40k copies in the 1st week.

Praying for SRS2019 to happened (Especially at Tokyo Dome lol since Miuran just tweeted a couple days ago that he want to perform there, did he knows something that we don’t ಠ◡ಠ?)

Hello Rikusan! Sorry to bother you but I have a bit of a problem with the DMM Player. I just rent the ShinkenRanbuSai 2018 archive but due to the crappiness of my laptop when I use the player to play the video the voice and the picture doesn't match up (with the picture slower than the voice). Do you know is there anyway I can fix this? like is there any setting hidden in the player? Thank you for your answer ^^

Hey Anon, 

When the video and audio got out of sync, it usually indicates your PC lack the power to play everything smoothly. Other than using a different laptop, there is not a whole lot you can do. But I got some tips.

First of all, when you try to watch the show. Close down each and every other program and application you don’t need. You want to free up as much of your processor and RAM memory as you can. Hopefully that will be enough to resolve the issue.

If that doesn’t work, download the video file at a lower quality. Before downloading, lower the bit-rate of the file from 6000kbps to 4000kbs or 1000kbs or something. (I’m not entirely sure what options you’ll get...) Check if the file plays properly at this lower bit-rate. Unfortunately, lowering the bit-rate does come with a drop in video quality, so you preferably don’t want to go too low.

If that doesn’t work, I’m afraid you’re out of luck. Depending on your internet speed, you may want to try to watch the online stream. Streaming requires less power from your laptop. (It appears.) 

If streaming isn’t an option either, I’m afraid you’ll have to yourself a different device to play the video on. ^^;;

Or, the very last resort option. Run the video (with the audio out of sync) and make a screen recording. When you play the recording with your favorite video player, you can adjust the audio to fit the video. However, chances are the audio goes more and more out of sync the longer the video runs. Which means, it may become impossible to fit is back on even if you made the recording. So, really, this would be a very last ditch effort.

So I attended the ShinkenRanbuSai 2018 Chiba round on the 16th of December at 18.00 (The last round) and boys it was more than amazing. Everything you saw on the live streaming, the experience is actually 10 times better if you’re in the hall yourself. IT WAS SO FREAKING SPECTACULAR. Words really can’t describe the fun I have when I was in the hall. Please considered renting it when they released the archive delivery! it was simply one of the best day of my life. One of the most memorable scene for me was that Fucking Timeline song between Kogi and Mika. IHIFIHHGIHGdsa9ur4w I WAS CRYING MY EYES OUT THE ENTIRE song and the girl next to me’s probably be likes the hell is wrong with this guy. Seriously it was so emotional, the way Mario ad-lib by saying Okaeri to Ryo when Ryo was looking at him when the song started. It WAS HF)*GH*(SDGOH(IGPHDSG. I’m standing there crying one hand waving the penlight while the other hand using handkerchief to wipe my tears away lol I just miss them so much (especially since I also went to watch the Atsukashiyama 2018 Paris koen and saw Mario singing this song alone) The entire live is seriously joyful (I ran out of adjective to describe it XD).  And the added to the experience, after the live end and all of us went out of the hall there was this beautiful firework lighten up the sky in the area. Simply like celebrating the wonderful end to a wonderful live (I believe it was a firework from a CyGamesFest that was next door at Makuhari hall 1-8) seroiusly, please rent the DMM of this live. You’ll not be disappoint.
