Far Far Away from South Park, Valentines Day. 2pm
“Th-thank you everybody! it’s been wonderful puh-performing for you this evening!”
The cameras swarmed him, but not as close as they would like. Because Jimmy was on a mission. His crutched thwacking more than a few intrusive shins as he made through the crowd begging for his answered. They couldn’t protest his carelessness of course, that would be rude. They were the ones flashing lights in his face.
“W-w-we’ll have our new, schedule up on the w-website as soon’ as possible! I love you all!” He called out one more time, face bright as usual as he swung around and ducked low to swoop down into his waiting car.
“What it the conflict Mr Valmer?”
“Is it another new mistress Mr Valmer?”
“Are you dying Mr Valmer?”
“Will you sign my ass Mr Valmer?”
“You’ve been a wonderful audience!” He piped as the door slammed. The window was still ajar though as they pushed into it, damn shins protected. Jimmy pressed the button to start rolling it up as he turned from them, thoughts elsewhere.
He felt a constriction in his chest now that finally he was alone, allowing his face to fall and wipe away the signature grin. He struggled to regulate his breathing as he shakily pulled his cellphone from it’s holster. He didn’t have to scan long to get the right speed dial. The number went straight to voicemail.
“Timmy!” The tone called out mockingly before the beep sounded.
Jimmy bit his lips to steady himself as he organized his thoughts to speak. “Tim? Timtim I n-n-n-need you t-t-t-to get back t-t-t-t’ me.” His stutter deepening as the anxiety racked at him. “I n-n-nenne-ne-nee-need to hear you say it. I nuh-nuh-nuh-n-n-n-need to hear wh-whats goin on.” He pleaded, trying to sound serious despite the fear that gripped him. “P-pe-people are talkin’ about it. P-p-p-p-people in my c-circles. An’ I don’t like w-wh-what they’re sayin Tim.”
He felt dizzy. There was nothing he wouldn’t give to have the other man infront of him now. If not offering him the answers, at least his presence might bring him some ease. His companion of the decade. He’d trust anything the man told him. Even if it was the doom of the whole world that fell from his lips.
“Timtim, wh-wh-what the fuck is going on?”
Less Far Away from South Park, Valentines Day.
“Timtim, wh-wh-what the fuck is going on?” The screened phonecall rang out. It went on a few moments more, syllables coming out in jarbled mess of desperate pleading for reaction, for reason, for reassurance. But the voice could not receive it. Not over that line anyway, it was tapped for constant surveillance. It’s owner himself killing time in surveillance of his own, awaiting the time that he would be allowed to have a more private conversation with the man on the other line.
A titular celebrity gossip show, all conspiracy and gab, saturated bright and scandalous. A beloved and topical rising star dipping out before the taping of his main performance in the middle of the day. Theories abounded of what could be the issue. Medical problems, frivolous vanity and ego tipping the mood, angry women making angry demands, controversial rumors threatening to spill out. It was tickling to the insides to know exactly what the truth was. It made the spectacle all the more entertaining, to see the common wretches babbling mindlessly about realities they couldn’t begin to fathom.
Another monitor, much more dreary. The testing grounds. But with comfort it showed that it was coming to a close. This was also a recording, anyway. They’d finished hours ago. Their subject was by now safely tucked away in the arms of his lovers, allowed to rest now for some time. It’d be days, weeks maybe, before they had processed the meaning of the results. If it provided results at all, of course. This carnage very well could have been all for naught.
Yet another monitor was one that did not change, under strict programming. It was not to be switched away from, off, or lowered from the droning of fountains spilling just outside it’s frame. More could be heard, of course, but those were sounds that one only heard in the deepest recesses of your mind. After you had strained too hard for too long to search for something, or quicker yet if they were paying no mind at all. It worked less painfully that way, to not know how your cells were being rescrambled to understand the noise. To hear what it had to tell, to prophet it, to be haunted by it. Few could stand an hour with these worms in their ears, eating at their core. Thankfully, for everyone, Timmy was made from different stuff. And he liked worms.
He was still bored though, itching for his guest who would surely arrive as soon as possible to show up at his door. And these screens weren’t entertaining him like he would have so preferred.
Could you keep him entertained until then, perhaps?
Jimmy and Timmy are open for questions for the next 48hrs! good luck getting answers, though

[12:48AM] “Oppa I’m home” you shouted as soon as you entered your apartment. Torry comes rushing to you with a stuffed chicken drumstick in her mouth as you remove your shoes by the door. Torry drops the toy by your feet and looks up at you expectantly. “Can we play after I shower?” you say as you pet her.
You walk into the living room, Torry in tow, with no sign of The Quiett. “Ya Shin Dong Gab! Where are you?” you shouted into the seemingly empty apartment. Then you notice music playing softly from his studio.
You knock twice and opened the door, and there he was, lost in his own world as he’s making music. You hugged him from behind and pecked his cheek. “I’m home oppa” you say, still hugging him. He kissed your hand and says “Sorry I was busy. Pull up a chair. I want you to listen to what I’m working on.”
So you did, and once you were seated, he placed the headphones on your ears and plays you what he’s been working on. You place your head against his shoulder as you listen and your feet slowly tapped along to the beat of the song. Torry then settled herself between your feet and Dong Gab’s, seemingly noticing that no one will play with her at the moment.
You brought the headphones down when the song ended. “It’s a good song. But then again, we both know there’s not a song of yours that I don’t like,” you commented, earning a chuckle from Dong Gab. “How was your day?” he inquired. You lifted your head and faced him. “Same, same” you sighed and gave Dong Gab a tired smile. You’ve been a [insert job here] and it was exciting at first but lately, everything has felt like a routine.
He held your hand and said “I provide for you; you can stop working now.” You looked at him incredulously and he quickly added, “Although technically I only provide for you partially because you’re a strong independent woman and you want to be able to afford things for yourself,” which made you laugh out loud. It makes your heart ache a bit at how much you love this man.
“It’s settled then! I’m turning in my resignation letter tomorrow and then I’ll make your dream come true of becoming a sugar daddy!” you proclaimed with a fist in the air. “Are you sure that’s my dream? Or is it your dream to be a sugar baby? Huh? Huh?” he replied and he started poking you, knowing well all your ticklish spots. “Oppa! Stoooop! Please!” you said in between laughs. He stopped his poking long enough for you to say “I’ll cook you the best meals in the world and you will never go hungry!” “Okay, okay truce. You know I like your cooking the best.”
You kissed him on the lips and said “I love you oppa.” “I love you too [y/n].” You left Dong Gab in the studio to finish his song, with a sleeping Torry by his feet; your tiredness lifted after a long day of work.

Because I Like You
The Quiett (Shin Dong Gab) X Reader
genre: a little angst, fluff
synopsis: I just love him and I’m slightly projecting in here, a little shitty mental health and he is the sweetest man ever
warning: a mention of bad mental health, anxiety, depression, but nothing serious
word count: 2330
a/n: it took me a while because life, and mental health, but I worked really hard on it and I hope you guys will like it
You never liked leaving your house, you always feared people were looking at you, judging you, big crowds made you uneasy, and having to look presentable at all times was just too much for you, so working from home was the perfect solution for you, and your ability to work with words turned you into a great freelancer.
You were basically the opposite of your neighbor tho, he was a famous rapper in Korea, you had seen him on TV every once in a while, he was always surrounded by people and seemed so comfortable being the center of attention. Even on those rare days when he stayed in, his friends would come over, and although sometimes they were a bit too noisy for your liking, especially when you were working, you enjoyed it, you were happy for him and his friends, and their laughter was a great white noise for you at times.
The only contact between the two of you was a silent “hey” at the rare times he saw you leaving the house, usually, to get groceries, the note he would slip under your door, informing you that his friends would be coming over and apologizing for the noise, and the baked goods you would leave outside his door as you were stress baking and didn’t want to eat everything alone, usually also leaving a note with a nice message, wishing he was well.
***
You were scrolling through social media as you were waiting in line at the grocery store, and amongst all the random posts you saw that Jay Park posted a photo with The Quiett, wishing him happy birthday. You looked at the picture, although he wasn’t really your type you had to admit there was something quite attractive about him.
While you were checking out your groceries you decided to bake him a cake and to try and get out of your comfort zone, and give him the cake yourself instead of leaving it outside his door.
On the way to your apartment building, you noticed a small group of men standing outside, smoking. As you passed by them you could feel that they were looking at you, and when you walked inside you could see they were slightly looking at you and talking about something, your anxiety telling you that you were the subject of the conversation.
You pushed this thought to the back of your head, and got up to your apartment, looking for a recipe on your phone.
Around three hours later you finished making the cake, with a nice “happy birthday” written and chocolate-covered fresh fruit decorating it. You quickly changed into more presentable clothes, that weren’t covered in flour and chocolate.
You looked at the mirror, making sure you were clean, grabbed the cake, and left your apartment. You stood outside his door, and you could hear the faint music and loud talking from inside. You took a deep breath and rang the doorbell.
Seconds later he opened the door, surprised to see you standing there. You could see through the open door the same men you saw downstairs and quickly looked back at him.
“y/n! Hey! I didn’t expect to see you here,” he smiled at you.
“I just came to wish you a happy birthday,” you said shyly, holding out the cake.
“aw thank you! The cake looks great! You shouldn’t have…”
“yeah but I felt like I should,” you looked down, “you should get back to your friends now."
"do you want to come in? We’re having a little birthday party."
"thank you but I should get going, happy birthday!"
"thank you!” he smiled at you, only closing the door after you entered your house, and walked back to the living room, placing the cake on the table.
***
“Hyung who was that?” Jinyoung asked as all of them were curious about you after seeing you twice the same day.
“oh, that was my neighbor, y/n, she baked me a cake,” he smiled, his ears slightly red, thinking about your smile.
“she’s the same neighbor who usually brings you baked goods? The one you always talk about?” Sungbin asked, “why don’t you just invite her for coffee or something? You obviously want to spend time with her…"
"I don’t know… She’s not really the type to spend time with people, but I’d need to return the plate, so maybe then, I’ll see…"
Donggab went to the kitchen to bring spoons and plates, and to avoid the kids’ eyes, still thinking about your cute smile and good heart.
***
A couple of days later, after they finished the cake and Donggab did the dishes, he tried to muster up the courage to ask you out for coffee. It’s not that you were an intimidating person, he was just amazed by the amount of time you could spend alone, with only music as your company, how you were so nice yet always looked like you wanted to be left alone, he just didn’t want to intrude, to make you feel uncomfortable.
He took a deep breath, before finally ringing the doorbell. After what he felt like forever you opened the door, he noticed your hair was all perked up in different directions, and how you rubbed your puffy eyes, and how you were still beautiful in his eyes, yet he couldn’t shake the feeling that your eyes weren’t puffy and red from only sleeping, he could swear there was a trail from a tear on your cheek before you rubbed it.
“Is everything okay?” you yawned while tiredly looking at him, you had so many deadlines lately you barely had time to sleep, you fell asleep the second you submitted your last work.
“Oh um yeah, everything is great, I just, I just wanted to return your plate, I had no idea I’d wake you up, I’m so sorry,”
“That’s okay, people don’t usually sleep at this time of the day,” you weakly smiled as he handed you the plate, “thanks for returning it.”
“Are you okay?”
“Um, yeah, I just had a really busy week, that’s all,” you yawned again, “I’m gonna go back to sleep now, thanks again for the plate!”
“Y/n!” he quickly called your name, using his hand to stop you from closing the door. He had to ask you, it was now or never.
“Yeah?”
“I-I was wondering,” he was too nervous to look at your face so he decided to focus on your ear instead, so it would at least look like he looks at you, “um, I’m going over to my parents for a couple of days, and I was wondering if you… if you would like to come over for coffee or tea or something when I come back on Friday?”
“Sure, sounds great! Have fun with your parents!” you smiled at him, before closing the door. When you placed the plate in the kitchen you noticed your reflection in the microwave, and shook your head, he was just being friendly.
“Or was he being more than just friendly?” you questioned yourself as you lay in bed, “could he possibly be into me? No way, I mean, we’re so different, it was just a friendly offer,” you convinced yourself, not wanting to build your expectations, so you wouldn’t get hurt and disappointed.
***
The days passed fast, and before you could even notice it was already Friday. Although you were excited about having coffee with Donggab, you were overworked and your mental state has taken its toll on you, everything was a little too much. You fell asleep in the morning, telling yourself you will wake up by the time you and Donggab agreed upon.
Donggab returned earlier than he thought and texted you the second he walked into his apartment. As he went to put his things away he mentioned how messy his apartment is. He glanced at the clock, seeing he still had around two hours until you were supposed to come over, he decided to clean up a little bit.
Time passed quickly, and when he finished cleaning and organizing he noticed you were supposed to come over any minute now, but before he could get changed he checked his phone only to see that you didn’t text him back, you haven’t even seen his message. He decided not to overthink it and went to get changed. But as the minutes were passing by, and soon turned into half an hour, forty minutes, fifty minutes, an hour, he began to feel worried. He texted you again, and called you, and then texted and called again, he was getting more worried by the minute. He put his shoes on and crossed the hallway to your apartment, ringing the doorbell.
He had to ring the doorbell five times until you woke up and opened the door, wearing a large hoodie and a pair of sweatpants, hair messy, and your eyes all puffy and red again, but this time Donggab could see the trail from your dried tears, you were too tired to even notice that.
“Donggab? What are you doing here?” you asked, your mind still clouded from sleep.
“We were supposed to meet up an hour ago, you didn’t show up and I got worried,” he sighed, relieved you weren’t hurt, but still extremely worried about you, “can I come in?”
“What? Why?”
“I don’t want to talk in the hallway,” you went to the living room, and he closed the door behind him as he followed you, sitting on the couch, facing each other.
“Listen, I’m so sorry, I… I just fell asleep and didn’t notice the time,” you said, looking at his face, feeling like you screwed up your friendship with him, “it really was an accident, I was actually looking forward to that.”
“y/n, is anything wrong?”
“What do you mean?”
"look, I know we don’t know each other that well, but I’m still worried about you. No one deserves to be alone,” he looked you in the eyes, seeing something break in them, he understood he hit a sensitive spot.
“So what? You were nice to me only because you pitied me?” you looked at him sternly, your suspicions were true, he didn’t care, “I don’t need your pity.”
“What? No,” he sighed, “I don’t pity you, I honestly admire the fact that you don’t depend on other people for your happiness. What I meant to say is, something is definitely wrong, you can’t deny it.”
“What do you mean, definitely wrong?”
“Your eyes, they’re always red and puffy, at least when I see you, sometimes, when you don’t have the time to wash your face, I can see the dried tears,” he stopped for a second, trying to read your face, “I heard you cry a couple of times, I just didn’t know what to do… that’s why I’m trying so hard to befriend you, so you could trust me. You’re nice and sweet and genuinely kind, this isn’t right for you to suffer, and I want to be there for you, I want you to be able to count on me.”
“Why?”
“Because I like you,” he whispered.
The room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop, you didn’t know what to say. So many thoughts were running through your head, you wanted to scream. Deep down you knew he was right, you didn’t deserve to suffer, to be alone your entire life, you didn’t want to lose him.
“Being around people makes me nervous,” you said quietly, looking down at your hands, you couldn’t bring yourself to meet his eyes, “I’m so scared about people trying to hurt me that I don’t even want to try and make friends, but here you are, telling me that you want to be my friend?” the last part came out as a question, you still couldn’t believe it.
“I really do care about you, you know?” he put one hand on yours, using the other to gently cup your face, wiping the tears with his thumb, “but you’re wrong, I don’t want to be your friend.”
Your heart dropped hearing him say that.
“I probably shouldn’t have stopped talking after that,” he chuckled, “I meant to say, that by inviting you for coffee I wanted to ask you out on a date, I just didn’t know how. I mean, your eyes, they’re so beautiful that when you look at me I forget what I want to say, your smile just lights up the room, and I always want to be around you and talk to you, so maybe… I like you even more than I thought?”
“I-I don’t know what to say…”
“You don’t have to say anything,” he looked down suddenly as if he was ashamed of his confession, “I mean, we’re pretty different, and I’m quite older than you, and-”
“I would love to go on a date with you,” you interrupted him, you didn’t want to hear reasons as to why you shouldn’t be with him, “I was just surprised, but I think I like you too, and going on a date with you would be great.”
He smiled hearing you say that, relieved after he asked you out.
“If you’re already here, you can stay for dinner…” you looked at him hopefully, you wanted him to stay.
“Only if you agree to call this our first date,” he smirked at you, not wanting to leave either.
“Fine,” you jokingly scoffed, “we’ll call it a date.”
“Great! I’ll order take out.”
“Sounds good,” you smiled, and got up to go and wash your face, “I’ll be back in a minute.”
You looked at yourself in the bathroom mirror, you couldn’t believe how the night turned out, but you were happy. You smiled to yourself as you washed your face and brushed your hair, having a good feeling about you and Donggab. You finally had your shot at happiness.

Dafni x Astartion || Rating: E (very spicy: See Ao3 tags for a run down ) || Ao3 || Sunshine & Starlight: My on going bg3 series
Notes: Sub & dom Astarion all in one fic? Maybe so. Shadowheart's off-handed line about the PC tying her up if she started to turn inspired this filth (I'm sure she'd be loathed to know that). I'm also a fan of the sexy misuse of spells and hadn't written femme dom in a while. It was a perfect storm. Evlish Translations: Qu tel sy- Bindings of the wilds
Astarion watched Dafni’s dainty fingers casually trace an arcane pattern in the empty space before her.
“Qu tel sy” Her voice wavered a bit in its attempt at sounding commanding.
Cute.
Tendrils of jasmine vine sprung from the earth below him winding up his biceps binding him at the wrist. He’d heard her make a sharp quip about tying Shadowheart up that afternoon. The comment had worked his way into his mind. He was normally much more interested in taking the lead but the idea of playful, defiant Dafni taking control was rather enticing. A fantasy worth indulging in at least once.
“Comfy?” She asked, her head tilting to one side.
“Very.”
With a nod, she began to leisurely undress herself. His hungry gaze followed her dainty fingers as they came to the tan leather straps that kept her breastplate fastened. She took her time with each buckle admiring the tiny floral etchings as if they were the most fascinating thing in the world. Slowly she shrugged herself free. Carefully laying it down beside her long sword and bow. Next, she set herself to the thin metal plates that protected her knees, removing them and adding them to the neat pile.
“You are taking forever, Daffodil.” He complained.
“I could go slower?” She retorted leaning over as she slid her hands down her thigh to her cave.
“No. No, take your time I’ll just be making a mental note of what a terrible pricktease you are being.”
Dafni rolled her eyes, tugging off her boots. Her fingers toyed with the laces of her breaches before moving to the pearl buttons at the wrist of her tapered bell sleeve.
“I’ve been thinking about something you said the other day.” She mused, halting her undressing once more, “Can you really not see your own reflection?” Astarion let out a frustrated breath. He should have expected her to drag it out. The little puck! Really he’d walked right into this. He tried to pull his hands free of their bindings so he could have her and be done with this gods’ damned teasing but she only waved her hand casually, causing the vines to pull him firmly to the ground. “My, my someone is impatient! I believe I asked a question?”
“I really can’t.”
“So, you don’t know what you look like?” She inquired.
“I’m sure right now I look rather annoyed.” He quipped back.
“I’m being serious.”
Oh no.
Not the pout!
Her lower lip jut out ever so slightly. Her eyebrows began to stitch and his heart threatened to melt into a puddle. He was certain she knew he’d cave if she gave him that look. He had been able to resist when they’d first met but lately that quivering lip was a sure-fire path to getting her way.
“Ugh- Alright! I'll indulge you! Little brat...” He said with a stroppy huff, “I have a general idea of how I looked before. Lacking any evidence to the contrary, I just assume I look amazing.”
“Dear me!” She tuted with a chime of silver-toned laughter, “So cocksure. You satisfied my curiosity-” A coy smile flashed across her face, “For now anyway. I think that deserves a reward.”
She brought her hands behind her neck unbuttoning collar, tugging her blouse over the top of her head. Astarion gave a weak attempt at silencing a low snicker as the fabric got caught on the long line of her ears in her haste. An adorable pink bloomed across the apples of her rounded cheeks. Her fingers returned to the satin ribbon at the front of her pants once more, shimmying her wide, seductive hips as she slipped them off.
His breath caught in his chest as he drank her in. She was eternal in the warm candlelight. A goddess all his own. Plump curves. Full breasts. Her loose curls cascading down her back like a river of rose petals. Freckles like flecks of gold covering her soft, kissable skin. She looked like a dream, dressed in nothing but her smalls and the crescent pendant that hung from her neck. The cool evening air danced across her bare sink prompting a tiny shiver from Dafni. Her nipples hardened as goosebumps broke out across her exposed skin.
“You are outstandingly beautiful, to confirm your suspicions.” She hummed straddling his hips. He could feel her warm core against his length through the thin fabric of her panties. He pressed himself against her, rocking slowly against her cotton clad folds. She gave a delighted squeak, wiggling against the solid pressure of his erection. “ I wish I could draw so you could see for yourself. Unfortunately, I’m hopeless with bush and canvas. I am quite good with gab, however. I could paint you a picture with words instead? Would you like that?”
He’d be lying if he claimed to have never been curious about his own appearance. He had a few memories of his mortal countenance. But like the majority of his past time and torment had left them hazy and abstract. He’d definitely had a little more color in life. He could recall being fair but not quite so cadaverously pale. His eyes would have been the most severe change, save the fangs. He’d seen the same haunting scarlet in the irises of every vampiric creature he’d met. He flitted through his thoughts trying to recall their previous color. Knowing Dafni she’d eventually ask him, if not now later on one of her whimsical larks. He was somewhat sure they had been green? Her offer seemed more and more appealing as his mind shifted through faint, crumbing memories. It would be fascinating to hear what parts of him she’d taken particular notice of. Moreover, Dafni had the remarkable ability to see the absolute best in everything. His appearance would likely be much the same and what man wouldn’t want the object of his desire to spoil him with compliments?
“Go on.” He affirmed with another eager roll of his hips against the growing wetness between her legs.
“Very well. You have a strong, angular jaw and perfect cheekbones. You have a little birthmark riiiiiight- Here!” Dafni explained, noting the spot on his cheek with a peck, “You have the most heartbreakingly handsome grin I’ve ever seen. Your nose is very straight. I can tell you weren’t in many bar fights!” She giggled, tapping the tip of his nose with her index finger. Astarion scrunched his nose in response prompting another musical laugh from Dafni. Followed by a long, slow kiss to his lips. He slid the edge of his tongue along the seam of her lips. A dissatisfied curse escaped him as she pulled back. Dafni only continued to beam with bemusement at his wanting. She brought a hand to a stray lock of hair that had fallen into his face. She wound the curl around her fingertip before sliding her fingers through his hair. Tugging softly at the root as she pushed it back. “Your hair is the color of moonlight. Your eyes are my favorite, though. So striking… The color of fine claret. Expressive too! If I want to know your mood I can always see it in your eyes. Or by the tips of your ears. They go pink when you are flustered. It’s faint but I’ve spent enough time admiring you to notice.” She nibbled his ear to emphasize her point, drawing a quiet whimper from Astarion. She kissed her way back down his body pausing on the hollow of his neck and collar bones. “You’ve always reminded me of the statues of the first elves we had in Peleira. Awe-inspiring figures cut from marble and alabaster. Trim and regal just like you.” She slid off his hips, kidding each rib on the right side of his body before settling between his thighs. Her soft hand wrapping around his member. A needy growl fell from his lips as she began her lazy pumping. She let out a playful chime of laughter before running her tongue along the underside of his shaft. “And of course your cock is absolutely glorious! So long with a slight curve that hits all my secret places. While I’m not the inexperienced maiden you hilariously mistook me for but, you do make me feel as if I were. You make sex feel new and exciting, Astarion. You make my life exciting all around. Normally my fancies come and go with haste, but I can’t imagine myself ever growing bored with you. I’ve never had a lover hold my attention as you do.”
Her adoring plaudits were overwhelming. Each comment was painfully sincere. Her free hand drifted between her own legs. The licentious mewls she made as her fingers toyed with herself made him even harder. His mind was swimming with desire. He wanted nothing more than to plunge into her snug, wet sheath. She must have seen the hunger in his expression. His body went taut as he felt her soft lips around him. Gods he wanted to touch her! To sink his fingers into her soft curls while she worshiped his cock. His hips bucked against her mouth as instinct took over. The sweet vibration of her giggle sending a shiver down his spine. He almost didn’t notice the feeling of more plant life ensnaring him, ankle to the shin. He could feel himself swiftly approaching the brink as she teases his tip.
“Daffodil…” His voice came out in a strained whisper, “You’ll need to stop soon. I’d still like to have you in other ways.” With a hum of understanding, she removed him from her mouth with a soft pop. Her thumbs hooked the edges of her underwear removing it in one quick movement. His wrist strained against his bindings as he attempted to reach for her hips. “Wait a moment. I want to taste you first.”
“You want me to unbind you?” She asked.
“I didn’t say that.” He chuckled a playful half-smile on his lips.
“Oh.”
Dafni’s belly flipped when she heard his request. The embers of confidence smothered by her own insecurities. She’d had her fair share of lovers between her thighs but she’d never like...That. Astarion was so lithe. She didn’t want to smother him!
“You can say no, darling.” He reassured, “However if you are worried about hurting me, don’t be.”
Nibbling her lower lip as a hot flush broke out across her naked body. “How did you know?”
“You have the same needlessly embarrassed look on your face as you did when I picked you up in the forest.” He sighed, continuing, “It's fairly common anxiety as well. I promise I’ll be perfectly fine. Besides if you accidentally suffocate me you’ll have to go fetch an emergency revivify scroll from Shadowheart and the thought of her reaction when you told her how I died is positively delightful!”
Dafni tried to hold in her laughter but it came out in a snort, “You are awful! What if she wanted to see your body?”
“Gods, I hope she would! Can you imagine her shock? Finding me all tressed up in jasmine after meeting my untimely end betwixt your gorgeous thighs!” He stated with a mirthful grin, “This all hypothetical of course. I fully expect you’ll be the only one to experience a little death from sitting on my face.”
Dafni felt her nerves steadying with his gentle taunting. She couldn’t decide if she was touched or mortified that he’d taken note of her insecurities. She’d never voiced them but he had been perspective enough to notice the little changes in her demeanor. He had a knack for catching on to the little things other people tried to hide. Part of the ‘wiles’ that had kept him alive for the past few centuries. She supposed his perceptiveness was the flip side of his secretary. Both had been informed by a difficult life.
She brushed her lips against his. Their foreheads pressed against one another. “Alright.”
Dafni steeled herself as she settled her thighs on either side of him. Ever so slowly she lowered herself towards his smirking mouth.
Oh wow.
All the worry slipped away with the first pass of his cool tongue along her slit. A lewd gasp broke free from her as he sealed his lips over her clit. Sucking and teasing her to delirium. Her hips grew a will of their own rocking forward, chasing the electrifying sensation. Her squirming only seemed to embolden him. His attention shifted to the mouth of her arousal. His tongue eagerly exploring her dripping center. Her confidence returning with each dizzying lick. She thought she’d feel ridiculous perched on top of him. The sight of Astarion happily ravaging her with his mouth left her feeling empowered and needy.
“Gods that’s good!” She whimpered rutting against him, “I-Wow… I kind of want to keep you here a forever.” She tugged at the roots of his soft curls pulling him deeper into her arousal. Promoting a delighted purr from Astarion as he continued to lap away at her quim. “Keep going! I’m so close...Ah! Astarion! Please! More!” A few more skillful sweeps of his tongue and the hot coil of building pleasure snapped loose. She hadn’t meant for the lamentation that followed to come out at such a high volume. She normally tried to be courteous of their friends. It was close quarters and they would likely not enjoy her keening half as much as Astarion did. She bit down her lip quieting another cry as the tempest of exaltation mixed with the sharp sensation of his teeth on her inner thigh. After a few swallows, he brushed his lips over the wound in a chaste kiss. She climbed down from her seat, flopping down on his cool chest. Her breath coming out in ragged heaves. “That was life-changing.”
She glanced up finding him staring with even more hunger than usual. His chin shimmering with slick. Lips stained red by her blood and his eyes alight with impatient longing.
“Years of practice.” He stated with a wicked grin, “Now if you’d be kind enough to free me, Daffodil? If I don’t have my way with you this instant, I might be driven mad.”
She nodded climbing off his chest to receive one of his daggers from his things. She carefully cut away the blossoms and vines that held him prone. As soon as the blade cleared the twist of greenery, he pounced, laying her out on her stomach. Dafni let out a peal of amusement, propping herself up slightly on her elbows. Astarion ran his finger along her slit, causing her to shiver. A dark, desirous sound rumbled in his chest as he sunk two fingers into her, “Still a little sensitive, are we? There is still nectar dripping from your flower down the back of your legs. I knew you’d enjoy your little ride. I certainly did. You’re so beautiful when you come undone. Squirming and squealing. Though, I wonder what the others will say now that they’ve heard you screaming my name like a trollop?” He let out a moan as Dafni clenched around his pumping fingers, “Should we see if I can get you to do it again?”
Dafni cried out as he impaled her with one urgent push. His hips met her’s with a smack before he withdrew almost completely. She whined at the emptiness, relief washing over her as he resheathed himself with another unyielding shove. It seemed being unable to touch her had inspired a carnal frustration he was desperate to satisfy. He gathered her loose hair up in one hand, yanking her back as he continued to pound into her. He hissed as Dafni brought her thighs closer together, savoring the hardness of his length inside her.
“Tell me again, tart.” He demanded wrenching her back to look at him, “Tell me how I make you feel like a vestal maid with my ‘glorious cock’.”
“For you, I am reduced to a lusty, untouched damsel.” She confirmed pushing her backside against him.
“Indeed you are.” He released his grip on her curls, bringing his hands to rest on the swell of her hip tugging her even closer.
He growled his approval before sinking his teeth into the warm hollow of her throat. With each sip, she felt his heart fall into step with her own. It was a strange sort of intimacy that felt a bit metaphorical. Cold, wicked, Astarion’s undead heart lurching to life. Beating in perfect time with her own as she coursed through him. Dafni knew it was a silly, romantic notion but that could hardly be helped. Especially when he was ravaging her with such vigor. Her second climax flourished as he pressed himself against her just so. She convulses under him, tears streaming down her cheeks. Astarion tore himself away from her neck, incarnadine eyes burning ravenous with a mix of thirst and fearsome wanton need.
He shouldn’t have bitten her again. It was a rash, risky choice, especially when he was already frenzied with lust. That first taste from her thigh had been the most exquisite yet. The sweetness of her blood mingling with the earthy tang of her slick had been transcendent. The soft, sunny, joy he’d experienced when feeding on her in the past had been replaced with a blinding exaltation that had nearly finished him off untouched. If the first bite had been transcendent the second had felt like finding himself in Arvandor itself. It took no small amount of will power to chase off his instinct to drink her dry.
As he beheld her writhing, buxom form an admission rushed out of him, “I never want anyone else to touch you again.”
Never?
Oh, gods, that was a fool thing to say!
“I’m spoiled for all others.” She assured, “No one else could please me as you do.”
Her words ignited something base in him, pushing him to the edge. With a final crude thrust, he found his rapture, flooding her snug, soaking, heat with his release. All the while his thoughts rang loud with one word.
Mine.
He lingered behind her for a while, his chest heaving and heart racing. He knew he must be a flustered mess and he didn’t really want her to see him like that. He’d already shown her too much. He squeezed his eyes shut. Composing himself before laying out beside Dafni.
When his eyes fluttered back open he took stock of the scene before him. Dafni’s expression was somewhere between dazed and ecstatic. The wound on her neck was still dripping red. The one on her thigh had closed, turning a deep purple. His seed seeped from her entrance. His chest went tight, his cheeks a deep red. She was well and truly debauched.
“Daffodil?” He said softly as he placed a tentative hand on her shoulder, “Are you ok, dear?”
She blinked a few times before nodding, “I’m ok! Just a little woozy and overwhelmed, maybe? Kind of floaty.”
“Completely fair. That was...A lot. I might have gotten a bit carried away. Apologies.” He brushed the loose hair from her shoulder to get a better look at the puncture on her neck, “If you feel faint, you should eat something. Tell me what you’d like and I’ll fetch it from the camp’s stores?”
“Some water would be nice and maybe an orange? I think we have some left from the druids.” Dafni turned to her side, cozying up beside him. She looked up at him through curling pink lashes. Her mossy brown eyes expressing an uncharacteristic shyness. “After I have my snack, could maybe I stay with you again tonight? You can say no! I won’t be offended. I understand that you like your space and I don't want to be clingy! I-I’m just feeling a little vulnerable after all that and I don’t think I could handle a walk of shame right now…”
It always stung to hear that she expected him to throw her out as soon as the deed was done. He supposed she had every right to after his attempt to leave her alone in the woods that first night. It should have been clear to her he enjoyed her company by now. Hadn’t she noticed all of the parts of himself he’d conceded to her? He’d told her about Cazador- Not everything but more than he thought he’d be willing to share with another person. He let her linger in his personal space and hold his hand almost constantly. He watched out for her when she was too blinded by her own generosity to do it herself. He had even admitted how important her well being had become to his own! And still, she assumed he’d toss her out into the night.
“Of course you can stay,” He scowled tuting his disapproval as he spoke, “I just assumed you would start staying with me after I invited you to the other night. Apparently, I should have been more clear. Unless I tell you otherwise, you are always welcome to stay with me, Daffodil. So please stop acting as if I’m some cold-hearted dastard? It’s offensive and it bruises my ego.”
“You mean it?” She chirped a blinding grin across her winsome features, “I can stay here whenever?”
He groaned, “Yes. I know you don’t like trancing alone and I like having you around. It makes sense for us to share quarters. If I need space I’m sure you’ll know. Now I’m going to get your food and water before you swoon from bloodloss or over-excursion.”

To the Ends of the Earth 17
A/n: Supernatural AU. OOC Gabriel
Link to Chapter 16
Pairings: Gabriel x Reader
_______
Gabriel did not let go of you for a good five minutes. You were not about to argue about it either. This had been the first bit of physical affection that the two of you had shared is some time.
After a few moments longer, Gabriel finally let go of you. He glanced over his shoulder at Amelia, who was not even looking up. The kid was too busy building her mud pies or whatever she was doing. Gabriel smirked. The kid reminded him too much of you as a child. Sometimes it was like looking in a gigantic mirror!
“Hey kid, why don’t you go inside and clean up?”
Gabriel said with a smile. Amelia nodded before standing up and dusting off her dirty pants.
“Okay, I am really dirty anyway. My daddy is going to have a cow.”
Gabriel partly wished that he could see Sam’s face when the kid walked in with mud and dirt all over her.
The amused feeling vanished as Gabriel remembered what he had to talk to you about. This wasn’t going to be a good conversation in the slightest.
“Y/n, I need to talk to you about something.”
Your happy smile quickly vanished and was replaced by that serious expression that Gabriel wished that he never had to see. He liked making you smile. This look was the furthest thing from a smile imaginable.
“Gabriel, I don’t like conversations that start like this.”
You said. It was the truth too. It seemed like every time Gabriel talked to you with this particular tone something was going straight to hell in a giant dumpster fire.
Gabriel looked at you sympathetically.
“Sugar, I was talking with Dean. We both had thought that it would be a good idea for me to keep an eye on Raphael. It seems like he is taking up making some friends around here. When I say friends, I mean other angels that have been on earth for a long time. I’m going to be gone for a few weeks...I don’t want….”
“You’ve got to be kidding me!”
You snapped. Gabriel sighed. He didn’t say anything for a moment. In fact, you didn’t give him a chance to get a word out. Gabriel only looked at you with that annoyed expression that he seemed to be wearing a lot more lately.
“Where was I in this conversation? Why am I never considered? I’m supposed to be your wife and I am always left out in the cold on these decisions! It's like you are just fine talking to my brothers and Cas more than me. Would you just prefer it if you kept me locked at home all barefoot and pregnant or something? I’m not some 1950’s housewife that is just going to sit around and wait for you to come home! This is insane Gabriel! Every time you go anywhere near your psycho brothers you come back not in the condition that you left in! You are just getting your grace back to 100% and now you are going back after them...this is insane!”
Gabriel gave you an innocent shrug.
“First off, barefoot and pregnant? Who the hell says that? Second, gross. You know I want nothing to do with children. Amelia is fine. She isn’t ours! We can play with her then send her back to Sam when we get sick of her. Third, I don't want you to be a stereotypical housewife. I like you the way you are. It's what I love the most about you...even though you can be difficult. Now that my grace is back, it would be the best time. Nothing is going to happen this time, Y/n.”
You shook your head wanting to sit down and hold your head in your hands.
“Then let me go with you. You know that I can hold my own in a fight.”
Gabriel shook his head.
“Not happening. I won’t be able to keep my thoughts where they will need to be. I will be worrying about you the whole time. That is how people get killed.”
You muttered something about being a big girl and not needing to be watched over all the time.
“Yes, you do and you are not going. That’s my final word.”
Gabriel said, taking on his “archangel” tone. You looked at him coldly before turning and storming back toward the bunker’s entrance. In a few hours, you would regret not kissing him goodbye or saying “I love you” at the moment, however, you wanted to kick the archangel in the shins.
“I think that I am going to form my own country and declare war on you and Dean!”
“Y/n…”
Gabriel started but stopped when you held your hand up.
“You aren’t going to listen to me anyway. I am just wasting my breath. Be ready to get a declaration of war notice...hope you and your new best friend forever Dean are up to it.”
You stormed into the bunker without another word.
Storming into the kitchen, you froze seeing Amelia looking at a gooey pancake that Sam put in front of her.
“Daddy this is gross.”
Sam looked up with a sigh and immediately knew what was wrong.
“Hold that thought, sweetheart.”
Sam said, petting Amelia’s head and turning to face you.
“I see Gabriel talked to you.”
Your eyes flickered in your older brother’s direction. Sam’s face was wary as he gave you a sympathetic expression.
“I see you knew about it too. I’m declaring war on you also.”
You snapped. Sam frowned.
“I said that he was wrong to handle this the way that he is.”
You stopped dead in your tracks and was silent for a moment. Sam was on your side. Good old Sam! You could help but be thankful for him at the moment. It was always Sam that stuck up for you when Dean treated you like a kid. Sam wanted to make sure that you had equal say in whatever the situation was.
“Oh, I’m sorry.”
You said softly. Sam shook his head.
“You don’t have to apologize. I know that you get sick of being treated like a little kid.”
You nodded, coldly. That was an understatement! You were beyond sick of being treated like a child. This was the perfect opportunity to throw your feelings up in Gabriel’s face. He hated when his older brothers treated him like that kid in the family now here he was doing the same thing to you!
“I really do. Sam, do you think that I am a capable hunter?”
Sam nodded, looking over his shoulder making sure that Amelia was busy with her coloring and not paying attention to the conversation at hand.
“You know I do.”
You stepped forward and wrapped your arms around Sam’s waist. He didn’t wait before wrapping his arms around you.
“Y/n, I know that you can handle almost anything that comes your way. I also know that Gabriel and Dean are trying in some annoying way to protect you too. It doesn’t mean that you should be sidelined to the kids table though.”
“All Gabriel and Dean want me to do is sit around here and play den mother. Normally I don’t mind but today I am extra pissy!”
Sam chuckled.
“Want me to take you out for ice cream?”
You stubbornly nodded. Sam smiled before turning back to Amelia who was looking up at ice cream.
“I wanna come.”
She said with a pouty expression that mirrored her father’s. You smiled at your niece before motioning her forward.
“Well, come on, sweetheart.”
Half an hour later, you sat nibbling on what was left of your ice cream cone. Amelia was halfway through a very messy hot fudge cake. You smirked as Sam sat the napkin that he was holding down in clear defeat of keeping Amelia’s white shirt clean.
“She eats like Dean.”
You said with a smile. Sam shook his head with a loud sigh.
“She is a lot like her world's okayest uncle.”
Glancing around the restaurant, you couldn’t help but notice several sets of eyes starring in your direction. You tried to keep the obviousness of the situation under control as you gazed at the multiple being looking in your direction.
“Angles.”
You muttered. Sam looked up.
“What?”
You looked around the room again discreetly before focusing your attention on your older brother.
“There are a shit ton of angels here. 1 guess as to who they are after.”
Sam didn’t even have to respond. He knew. It was you. Michael and Raphael had made it clear to any angel that you were hit number 1.
“Do you have your angel blade?”
Sam whispered. You nodded, not even having to feel for the weapon at your side. Glancing down to Amelia, you muttered fuck. This was going to be a hell of a way from your niece to figure out that angels were real and weren’t always the good guys.
“Make sure that she doesn’t peek.”
Sam nodded before leaning down and whispering something into his daughter’s ear. His eyes rolled back to yours.
“I’ve got your back.”
You nodded before stepping out of the booth. Pretending to be unaware of the danger at hand, you walked to the restaurant door. You stopped and looked out into the pleasant Kansas sunny afternoon. After taking a few deep breaths, you returned to the counter where the owner stood counting money.
“Can I get you something?”
He asked, casually. You nodded.
“A glass of water, please.”
As he went to the soda machine to fill up the cup in hand you slowly felt for the revolver in the back of your jeans.Angel killing bullets...check
“So do you have insurance on this place?”
You asked. The owner shook his head.
“Nah, nothing ever happens here.”
“Too bad.”
You muttered before taking a sip of your water. After a few more moments of silence, you turned to the angels casually sitting about the place.
“Hello, you bunch of holy fuckers. I am Y/n Winchester and I am here to deport you right back to heaven where you belong.”
As soon as the words left your lips, an angel had a hold of your hand. It took you all of two seconds to sink the angel blade into the chest of the being. After the angel was dead you turned to face a few others that were stepping closer to you.
“Oh look, you brought your friends.”
You muttered as Sam took out a few angels to your left. You reached behind you taking out your revolver and blasting the angel killing bullets into the others.
“Sam, remind me to thank Dean for his hard work on these bullets.”
Before Sam could respond, a voice you knew well began to speak
.“Yes, let's thank Dean.”
Your eyes widened as Raphael stepped out from the booth that you couldn’t see. Christ…
‘Hello, Y/n. I see you don’t have my brother watching your every move?”
You swallowed as Raphael gave you that cold brutal smile that could scare anyone to death.
“I don’t need Gabriel to watch my every move, dickbag. I have my big girl panties on. You and Michael need to get some new hobbies. I swear you two are like our little annoying fan brats that just won’t go away. I hear that scrap booking is nice.”
Raphael raised an eyebrow.
“Is that supposed to be funny? Do you think that you are funny or something?”
You grinned.
“In the words of my dear brother, I think that I am adorable.”
Raphael’s unnamed expression deepened.
“You are about to be dead. It won’t be a bad thing. I will just have to watch Gabriel be in agony for the rest of eternity but I think that I can manage that.”
You glanced at Sam out of the corner of your eye, he was watching Raphael's every move and was ready to pounce on the archangel.
“I’ve got it, Sam.”
You said softly before looking back to Raphael.
“You first.”
Before Raphael could get his hand up, you fired the gun, hitting him square in the chest. Raphael blinked stupidly as the pain began to take over.
“Bet you never expected this did you, you stupid son of a bitch? Archangel killing bullets. You thought I was just playing? Bitch I never play! Now you're dead and Michael will be next.”
You looked away as Raphael died. Part of you wanted to watch. The other part didn’t. You knew that this would be what it would be like if Gabriel died and your mind didn’t want to process it. You also didn’t want to process the thought that you would have to tell Gabriel that you had killed his brother. At odds or not, Raphael was still Gabriel’s brother and this would probably be a rough thing.
Sam’s hand touching the small of your back made you jump. You turned to face your brother, who cradled his clearly stunned daughter in his arms.
“What did aunty do?”
She whispered, looking around. Sam sighed. He had all of the intentions of letting his daughter grow up in ignorance of the ways of their “world.” Amelia could be the one that went into the world without fooling with the supernatural but who was Sam kidding? This would be her life just like it was his and yours.
“She saved all of us.”

hey hi helloo~ so,,,you kinda seem like you know lots of kdramas,,,,and i wanted to ask you,,,if you could recommend me some of your favorites? tbh anything would be fine kdjs it can be something where i can cry my heart and soul out or something really cute! that's totally up to you (but something where i can absolutely get emotionally invested in that it shatters my heart is what i probs need rn tbh 😩✊🏻)
this is my time to shine 🤓🤓🤓 i DEFINITELY CAN !!! esp for my favorite follower 😔💕 also this is gonna be pretty long bc i gave a lot of info for each drama so i’ll put a read more~!
_ MY PERSONAL FAVS _
go ho’s starry night- a chinese-korean collaboration drama starring snsd's yuri, kim youngkwang (the secret life of my secretary), and lee jihoon (legend of the blue sea) - go ho (yuri) is a dedicated worker who deals with her grumpy boss and quirky coworkers. she requests to be transferred to a different team, where she discovers her new boss is her ex-boyfriend, and then basically there forms a harem of 5 of her coworkers who all like her- super fluffy!! episodes are only about 15 minutes long each, and although there is angst, there's a lot more comedy and fluff. the relationship between the two main leads is adorable and had me squealing way more than once
put your head on my shoulder- a chinese drama starring fair xing (master devil do not kiss me) and lin yi- si tu mo is a bubbly girl who moves into a house only to find out that the owner's nephew (?), gu wei yi, is already living there, and the two end up living together. si tu mo is sweet and outgoing, while gu wei yi is quiet and intellectual- SO cute. although the plot seems cliche, the focus is not really on them living together, that's just what brings them together originally, and the main lead isn't the stereotypical "cold and super smart asshole" type, he's actually very sweet. there are a lot of episodes but i would definitely recommend watching this!
like- a korean webdrama that you can find on youtube starring kim yu an, kim kangmin (maybe, maybe not), yoo jungwoo (love after school), and seo ji hye- about a group of students who create a film club to make youtube videos and the dumb shit they get into, plus there's some romance, betrayal, and fuckboys. - so so so so cute honestly. the dynamic between the characters of the club is so cute and funny, plus the love triangle has me wheezing. also the asshole fuckboy gets what he deserves which is super satisfying. it hasn't finished airing yet, but so far it's really cute
failing in love- korean webdrama you can find on youtube starring son sang yeon (triple fling), yang hye ji, and shin yoon seop- about a group of high schoolers who deal with falling in love, crushes, rejection, etc.- ok so the summary i gave was pretty vague but that's because any more and i'd be exposing the whole plot. there is humor and fluff but also teenage angst, and the characters are all more complex than they first appear. i would highly recommend this show !!!
i have 3 boyfriends- short webdrama you can find on youtube starring kim ji eun, park sungwoo (produce 101 season 2 [that 30 year old dude who danced to rain's song OMG], moon jihoo, and lee jungsik - when la hi gets in a car accident and wakes up with amnesia she finds that she has 3 men all claiming to be her boyfriend.- OK LISTEN . this show is so funny and cute. let me just say: you MUST watch to the end. that's all i'll say. pLS WATCH
last minute romance- two episode drama special starring han seung yeon (age of youth) and lee seo won (the liar and his lover)- when baek se finds out she has terminal cancer and only has a short time to live, she desperately wants to complete her one bucket list item: date her favorite actor. it's then that she meets an aspiring actor who looks exactly like her favorite actor- so cute and very short, so you won't spend ages trying to finish. it is very fluffy, cute, and funny, but has an underlying tone of sadness because the main female lead has cancer and will eventually die. also her best friend is a monk??? the ending is bittersweet but very fitting
want more 19- a short webdrama you can find on youtube starring jung ha joon, sin gi hwan, jeon yoo rim, nam yoon soo, and lee jungha- a story of 5 friends in high school. A mutual crush, a one-sided love, and a rough patch for sweethearts, all taking place right around the end their senior year- OH GOD i can't breathe this drama is so cute. it had me squealing every single episode, and it's very lighthearted with hardly any angst
splash splash love- a two episode drama starring kim seulgi (queen of the ring) and highlight's doojoon (radio romance)- right before her ksat, danbi is transported to the past during a freak rain shower and is mistaken for a eunich (which, in korean, is the same word for high school senior) . due to her knowledge of future math, the king enlists her to teach him mathematics and they fall in love- a lowkey parody/remake of the kdrama love in the moonlight but if you added time travel into the mix and took out nearly all the angst. SO cute and funny, and has a happy but open type ending
something about 1 percent (2016)- korean drama starring jeon so min and ha seokjin (drinking solo)- lee jae in is an arrogant company heir, whose wealthy grandfather who decides to grant all his wealth to a kindly elementary school teacher. to only way for anyone else to get the money is for someone to marry her, but they devise a contract that changes it to date for 10 months. although they hate each other at first, they eventually fall in love- this drama is super cute and the kisses are AMAZING. there are crazy exes and all that but the couple's dynamic is super cute and they quickly warm up to each other
triple fling (s1)- a short choose-your-own-ending korean webdrama on youtube starring jung bomin, son sangyeon (failing in love), themanblk's jeongyou, and themanblk's eom sewoong- lee sehee accidentally becomes friends with the three most popular boys in school and ends up in a love square with them- alright im whipped for stuff like this so naturally i loved it. i also really liked how viewers could choose their own ending as for which boy she chose. there is a second season that i haven't seen yet that focuses on another girl in ANOTHER love square (containing one of the guys from sehee's love square) in which it shows which boy she actually did choose (and it was my favorite so . yay!)
weightlifting fairy kim bok joo- a korean drama starring lee sungkyung (cheese in the trap) and nam joohyuk (who are you: school 2015)- a drama about a female weightlifter who falls in love. persuing the relationship would jeopardize her weightlifting, and focusing on weightlifting would jeopardize her relationship with her crush. she and her group of friends deal with one-sided crushes, athletic pressure, and self-love.- i watched this drama in full in only two days, and loved it. seriously, it's funny, cute, sad, and just a generally AWESOME drama. plus it takes a lot of cliches and makes fun of them or turns them on their head
when you love yourself (s1)- a short webdrama you can find on youtube starring jung mingyu (sweet revenge 2) and saet byeol . - about a girl who is heavier than her classmates who struggles with self-love and self-acceptance, and along the way finds love- god. i can't even explain how much i loved this drama. the message is wonderful and there's no moment where she glows up and loses weight and then gets the guy's attention or anything: he simply loves her as who she is, no matter what weight she is, and is supportive. there's also an episode that focuses on the queen bee girl who also struggles with weight and self-love and it's just beautiful
after school: lucky or not (s1)- short drama starring 5urprise: kang tae oh (my first first love), seo kang joon (are you human too), gong myung (drinking solo), lee taehwan (w: two worlds), and yoo il, as well as kim so eun (our gab soon)- when so eun gets an invite to the choose-your-mission club, she meets 5 chaotic guys that she becomes friends with, but there's something they aren't telling her.- yes, there is a lil romance and a love triangle HOHO. ok but seriously this drama is the most crackheadery i've ever seen like. genuinely i was just wheezing so hard every episode because of the dumb sh*t the guys were doing and so eun's reaction. this drama seems dumb and funny at first, but there are emotional moments as well as some angst relating to the love triangle and the origin of the club. please do watch this show !!! (don't recommend season 2, though)
accidentally in love - a chinese drama starring amy sun (the eternal love), fiction guo, and ma li- chen qingqing, who is raised by her grandfather) is arranged to be married, but wants to find love on her own terms. on the day of the wedding, she runs away to the university her parents attended to find out more about their death. to hide from her grandfather, she changes her appearance drastically and enters university. her new deskmate turns out to be singer si tu feng, whom she has already run into and has gotten off on the wrong foot with- so this drama was longer than the ones i usually watch but it was worth it. it was cute and they didn't drag out the couple not getting together for ages like some dramas tend to do. the romance was super cute and the female lead's undeterred determination to march to her own drummer was amusing. the only thing i didn't like is that they didnt give the side couple enough screentime bc they were super cute too
my woofy poofy love / my dog-like dating- a short korean webdrama you can find on youtube starring chae ji an and kim do hoon (your imagination becomes reality)- a girl who has recently been cruelly dumped by her boyfriend brings a stray dog back to her home and wakes up to find that instead of a dog, there is a man! she happens to be looking for a roommate, and so this man (who can turn into a dog) becomes her new housemate- literally adorable. female lead is stunning and the relationship is so cute and fluffy and innocent, but the kiss is steamy as hell.
unrequited love (2019)- a chinese drama starring zhu yan man zi and zhao shun ran- a story of a girl who has secretly loved the same boy for 10 years, but he doesn't know she exists, until one day when they meet in college. so begins their love story, but things become more complicated because of other people- ok so like . damn i love this couple. this drama is really cute but has its fair share of angst, so don't expect an easy ride the whole way through. very cute though !!_ MORE DRAMA RECS _
a love so beautiful- a chinese drama starring shen yue (meteor garden) and hu yi tuan- chen xiaoxi has liked her neighbor jiangchen onesidedly for years, and continues to like him despite his seeming disinterest. but her determination and bubbly personality, as well as a romantic threat starts to cause him to fall for her- aight so . i feel like this drama was dragged out a little bit longer than necessary and then the ending was slightly rushed but!! it WAS a great and super cute drama
ok to be sensitive (s1)- a webdrama you can find on youtube starring kim da ye and kim youngdae (extraordinary you) and others im too lazy to put- focuses on feminist issues like sexism and sexual harassment in a college setting, which each episode focusing on one particular incident and the characters dealing with it- listen so like . this show had me emotional at some points bc of how amazing the message was. it dealt with sexual harassment, sexism, how females are expected to act, stalking, pressure to have sex... etc and basically every episode was like . you can stand up for yourself. you don’t have to “take it” just bc you’re a female, etc. also there was really cute romance uwu
ok to be sensitive (s2)- season 2 of otbs, also can be found on youtube, starring yoo hye in and lee shin young, as well as others but again im too lazy to list them all- same thing as season 1, but a different cast of main characters, and set in an office workplace. (original cast makes a cameo at the end)- the issues in season 2 were definitely a bit darker because it was set in a work place, where the main characters were worried about getting fired if they stood up for themselves, but the way things were handled was really admirable imo. also the male lead in this one is ABSOLUTELY adorable
go back diary- a 4 episode webdrama you can find on youtube starring kim ye ji and lee jong won (jaemin’s webdrama how to hate you)- about a boy who sees a girl at a karaoke bar (?) and instantly develops a crush on her. she then transfers to his school, and it tells the story of their love story after 10 years.- i’ll just say it right now. the whole drama was adorable except for the ending, which fucking sucked. literally was horrible. boycott episode 4 pls i was SO UPSET. otherwise, great webdrama
before we get married- taiwanese drama starring puff guo (just you; we got married w/ suju’s heechul) and jasper liu- tells the story of two people who already have partners and are planning to marry them, only to meet each other and fall in love- bro this show had so much angst i couldn’t even breathe lmfao. but the romantic scenes between the two leads were S T E A M Y let me TELL you.
love after school (s1)- korean webdrama that can be found on youtube starring park so eun and yoo jungwoo (like)- about a couple who fell in love in high school and their story, told from 5 years later when they meet again- i love love love this bitch. LOVE. season 2 ... we won’t speak of her lol. but season 1 is super cute and the ???? kiss at the end(ish)??? DEAD. literally anything with yoo jungwoo will destroy me but omg. it was fantastic
lucky romance- a korean drama starring hwang jung eum (she was pretty) and ryu joon yeol (reply 1988) - about a woman who believes wholeheartedly in superstitions meeting a man who believes only in science and mathematics, and their very chaotic love story- this show was so funny tbh. the main couple’s dynamic was HILARIOUS and even though they were literally complete opposites they worked so well together. warning: towards the end there’s that whole ‘i have to be noble and let you go bc its for the best’ bullshit but!!! there is a happy ending
maybe, maybe not- a webdrama starring kim kangmin (like) and gong yoorim- a girl who can read minds and is an outside bc she knows what everyone is really thinking meets a guy that she can’t read the mind of- so fluffy. so cute. oh god. pls watch it’s so soft and cute
my first first love- a korean drama starring jisoo (strong woman dbs), dia’s chaeyeon (drinking solo), and b1a4′s jinyoung (love in the moonlight)- about a group of friends who all, due to various circumstances, move into their friend tae oh’s house, and find love along the way.- idk why netflix did that dumbass thing where they did mffl 1 and mffl 2 but they’re the same show, just eps 1-8 then 8-16. anyways !! very cute show!! jisoo is fine as hell. taeoh and the rich girl are cute together. i found the ending abrupt and unsatisfying, but overall a good show
thumping spike (s1)- a korean drama starring hwang seung eon (part-time idol) and song jae rim (our gab soon) - about a volleyball team and their coach who are aiming for success, and a female professional volleyball player who becomes their athletic mentor- i know it doesnt sound super romantic but trust me. there is lots of romance, and even a love triangle hehe
u-prince: the single lawyer- a thai drama apart of the u-prince series starring august vachiravit paisarnkulwong and apple lapisara intarasu- firstclass is a straight a student who is strict about punctuality and properness, while minute is a spoiled rich girl who loses all her luxuries when her family files for bankruptcy. she begins “going out” with her gay best friend, aka firstclass’ brother, for money and ends up living in their house, but she and firstclass hate each other- listen all the u prince dramas are cringy and low quality but does it look like a give a shit . NO BC I KEEP WATCHING THEM . they’re cute ok . anyways this was my favorite one so this is the one im recommending yeehaw
unexpected heroes- a short korean drama sponsored by the CDC organ transplant management center, starring btob’s minhyuk, ioi’s sohye, and choi jonghoon- about three high school students who discover that, after their respective organ transplants, they have supernatural powers- though there’s not much focus on romance in this drama, it’s still funny and cute. plus minhyuk is in it and what more can you ask for ?? lol. anyways the trio uses their powers to help solve crimes n stuff it’s gr8 and ive been waiting for a season 2 for 98429834 years
what to do with you- a korean webdrama - that is actually literally an ad for a facemask - starring lee hayoung and kim youngdae (extraordinary you)- saerom and geun are friends, but it feels like they’re something more. will they ever take the next step?- yeah this webdrama is super cute and that’s really all lol. also the bitchy girl in love after school is the best friend in this one oho
your imagination becomes reality- a webdrama that can be found on youtube starring oh se young, kim dohoon (my woofy poofy love), and jin ho eun- soram has a crush on a mysterious upperclassman, and wishes to see him again: she does, soon after. each time she makes a wish, it seems to magically come true. - yeah so like . it’s not a supernatural thing or anything, it’s just a cute college romance that’s basically every girl with a crush’s dream lol~!

Midnight Snow
Hello, @avistella ! I’m your extremely late Secret Santa for the @kacchakosecretsanta event. I promised a Knight AU so here it is. There was so much I had planned to write, some I’ve hinted in the fic itself. but didn’t have the time. So after my exams are over, I really want to give you the rest of it. I wish the new year brings you calm times and happiness!! Hope you like it!
The title was suggested by Gab ( @silhouettart ) from the kacchako server. Thank you so much!!
Genre: Humor/Romance/Fluff
Pairing: Bakugou x Uraraka
Rating: G
Word Count: 2431
Summary: Quiet nights are rare for these Knights-in-training, especially when winter just decided to dress everything in white. A challenge is issued and declarations are made, but deep down Ochako only wanted to know if she had a future where Katsuki could be a part of.
The cheerful chime of the clock tower's bells reverberated all the way to the eastern bastion. Ochako huddled deeper into her fur coat and rose from her seat. The shift was over. Soon someone would come to relieve her from her duties. Lo and behold, like clockwork, Sir Gunhead's footsteps echoed on the staircase. His burly frame, combined with his armor, almost reached the support beams of the ceiling when he entered the room.
"Is everything alright?" he asked.
Ochako stood in alert. "Yes, sir! No trespassers or potential assassins scaled the walls. The crown can rest in peace tonight."
He chuckled, the sound ringing through his helmet. "Thank you for all your hard work, squire Uraraka. You're dismissed. Return to your chambers and get some rest."
Placing her fist on her chest, she bowed slightly. "I will."
"And watch your step on the wall."
The warning seemed a bit odd. Stray lonesome snowflakes had danced outside the narrow windows of the bastion for most of the shift. Ochako thanked him but it wasn't until she stepped outside that the storm was revealed in all of its glory. Snow covered the gabled roofs of the main building like a cozy blanket. Even the cobbled walkway in front of her had patches of white spread across its length.
Ochako hurried inside, bouncing around the thin layers of ice.
Winter had always been lukewarm at the southern village she called her hometown. On the off chance there was snow, it was sprinkled on the rooftops for a day at best before it would eventually melt. This was something new and fascinating, and she really wanted someone to share the experience with. Her options were limited though. Most of the squires and knights had returned home after the winter solstice. It was just a trip down the hill, after all.
Except…
Her gloved hand muffled her knocking a bit, but no other sound came from behind the door anyway. Ochako took a deep breath and rapped the wood again. His window still had a light on when she crossed the wall. A loud thud made her pause. The door was yanked open and Katsuki appeared wearing his boots and his nightshirt messily tucked inside his trousers. Red bleary eyes tried to focus on her form as he ran a hand through his disheveled hair. Ochako noticed it spiked in several more directions than usual.
"What do you want?" he grumbled.
Hearing the low rumble of his voice, Ochako willed her knees to stay straight. There was no time to lose her composure. She had to catch his attention as soon as possible.
"I challenge you!" she said with her most authoritative tone. "Meet me at the courtyard before the next bell. And please put something warm on."
Before Katsuki could voice any objections, Ochako dashed away. She had imagined their first conversation after the Yule celebration a lot differently. Still, a ploy like this had been her best bet to finally get something out of him. Katsuki's pride was legendary to the point he wouldn't back down from anything—except talking to her for the last two days. But the one thing Ochako had learned since she arrived in the Capital was that sometimes you have to play dirty to win.
The night had laid out its dark veil over the castle grounds, casting obscure shadows on the courtyard. Ochako had crouched inside a pocket of moonlight. Cold nipped on her exposed face; each breath flowing like a frozen river into her throat. Despite that, she continued the task at hand with a joyful tune.
Soft crunching footsteps approached her until another shadow joined hers on the ground.
"So what do you think?" she asked, waving at her creation with a smile.
Katsuki adjusted his scarf, his nose featuring the same tone of red. "That's the ugliest snowman I've ever seen."
"It's not that bad!"
Truth be told, the snowman's body sprouted solid from the ground like the nightmare tree of fairytales. Ochako had placed splinters from a nearby torch as hands too. The pebbles for eyes and mouth were the final touch to its angry demeanor.
"It looks ready to cut-throat anyone that gets near it," he said.
He sneaked a hand behind his back for his trusty knives, no doubt. As per usual, Katsuki came prepared for anything and everything. It was no brainer, considering Ochako had left her declaration kind of vague. The scabbard of his sword was missing though.
"It's just snow." She placed some straw on the snowman's head. "Look! It kinda looks like you now, don't you think?"
"You brought me outside for this?"
"Don't be rude. I didn't think you go to bed as soon as the sun sets."
Katsuki scoffed. "That's what normal people do."
"People that don't get the night shift you mean."
"I'm not going to ask again, Uraraka. What do you want?"
Ochako reached behind the snowman for the pre-prepared snowball stash. "To spend some time with you is all."
The snowball whistled in the air and crashed right onto Katsuki's face with a thump. He had managed to shut his eyes on time. But as snow trickled down like pieces of pie, Ochako could help it and burst out laughing. Still, she wasn't naïve. Grabbing more snowballs from the pile, she ran off.
"That's how you wanna go, huh?" Katsuki shouted. "Come back here you sneaky weasel! You're getting murdered tonight!"
What followed was the most intense snowball fight Ochako had experienced in the fifteen years of her life. Frozen projectiles whizzed from one side of the courtyard to the other like arrows. Most of the icicles hanging from nearby windowsills didn't survive the process. Katsuki had applied into this the same mentality he used in all of his fights—take no prisoners. His shots always went for the most vital body parts, namely the head and knees, with deadly accuracy.
On the other hand, Ochako didn't manage to land another shot again. At some point, she even began to wonder if that first one had been a fluke. The thought of Katsuki letting anyone hit him on his own volition was ridiculous at best. But she managed to get her revenge the moment Katsuki lost her from his sight. He stood in front of the portico-lined outer hallway, scanning his surroundings. No doubt wondering where she had disappeared to. Ochako stifled a snicker as she scouted around the nearest supporting column. With deadly precision, she pulled at his scarf and sent a handful of snow down his back. Katsuki's screech was priceless. Jumping on the ground, she put a great distance between them.
"That's cheating!" he roared. "You were out of bounds."
"We didn't set any bounds or rules," she said. "Everything is fair in love and war!"
"Stop running and I'll show you how fair it is!"
They chased each other around for a while longer. The clock's ninth bell found them hunching over, exhausted and soaked from head to toe.
"I… win…" Katsuki's shoulders heaved as he panted, a milky cloud escaping his mouth with each breath.
"Yeah, keep telling yourself that." Ochako brushed off the snow caught up in her hair. "It might end up true."
"You have a death wish today or what?"
Her laugh echoed joyfully in the calmness of the night. "I'd prefer to live a bit longer, thank you," she said, pushing her head back.
The moon was so bright. It washed out the sky to the point no stars were visible anymore. Ochako opened her arms as if she was ready to take off with the slightest gust of wind. Instead, she dropped backward. She had been shin-deep into the snow but the ground turned out a lot closer. Her shoulders hit on it at the same time her head did. The impact rattled her brain; pain rippling from the back to the front in waves. Because of the monotone tune in her ears, she didn't hear Katsuki approaching this time.
He leaned over her with a pinch of concern on his face. "What do you think you're doing?"
Ochako tested her limbs by moving them up and down, tracing shapes on the snow. "I'm a starfish."
"You're an idiot that will get sick. Get up." He offered his hand.
Grabbing him by the elbow in the regular Knight-greeting way, she returned back on her feet. As he was letting go though, Katsuki stopped at her wrist and observed her gloved hand from all angles.
"Do you feel anything?"
She freed her hand, cradling it close to her chest. Her fingers had become numb at this point and it hurt to curl them. "I'm fine. Why're you asking?"
"These are simple leather gloves," he said deadpan. "Good for show but not for this kind of weather."
Ochako had always been blunt about her intentions for enlisting. It surprised her when her fellow squires showed nothing but unconditional support for this decision. However, at this moment, it felt like something which shouldn't be meddled with. That didn't stop her from spilling her guts anyway.
"I sent most of my salary to my parents so by the time it got cold, I didn't have much to spend. The shoemaker in town gave me some leather at a good price so I made them myself. It's not that big of a deal."
"Give me your hands," he said.
"Eh?"
"You have to take care of them or you won't hold a sword again in your life. Just give them, okay?"
Instead of grabbing them, he waited patiently for her initiative. She offered them—not without some reservation though. His palms enveloped her own like they were meant to fit perfectly there. The same way they had fit on her waist during Yule. Ochako couldn't forget that night. The music and the crowd had faded while they slow-danced like there was no one else in the room.
After all these months of training together, Ochako thought she understood him better. Her first impression of him—aloof and courteous—changed very quickly when Katsuki revealed his brash personality. His snarky comments had only sharpened her blade and resolve to prove him wrong. Although their first fight during training had resulted in Ochako's loss, something changed again. Not in her though. Maybe she had been amazed by his splendid technique but she still didn't like him as a person. Until he showed up during her private practice and backhandedly admitted how close she had been into beating him. It was the first of many such meetings. As time went by, Ochako even started reconsidering her opinion enough to give him another chance.
The thought of them together crossed Ochako's mind. With both being knights-in-training, their standing was equal. It wouldn't bother anyone if something more came to bloom. Even Katsuki, himself, mostly bragged about his abilities than his family's status. Word went around though, and her soul couldn't stop wondering if it was meant to be something temporary after all.
"What are you doing here?" she asked out of the blue.
He scoffed. "Saving your daft ass from frostbite."
She shook her head. "I mean, why become a knight? Your family is a branch of the Dragons, right? You already have servants to do your bidding and guards to protect you. So why would you go through this sort of training, willingly?"
Katsuki stared back with an unreadable expression for a couple heartbeats. "My folks aren't that important. They have an estate inside the wall and maybe a handful of servants at best." A cynical smile spread across his face. "When I'm done with my service, they want me to go back and run things. Can you imagine that?"
"No." She chuckled. "Okay, maybe a little. You already have the shouting orders part down."
"Maybe. But doing that while sitting on a porch with a mug of ale? Nah… The quiet life of a lord isn't for me. That much I know."
"Then what?"
"I'm going to become a King."
Katsuki stated this declaration in the same tone one might talk about the weather. Ochako searched in his features for a hint that he was pulling her leg. When she found none, her jaw dropped slack.
"Seriously?"
"Huh? Of course!"
"Do you even have a right to the throne?"
"No," he admitted. "That's why I'm going to get stronger than that bastard. When I beat him in combat, he won't have any other choice but give me the crown and the kingdom."
She couldn't help the giggles shaking her whole. "I can't believe I just had a snowball fight with our future ruler. Excuse me, your Highness. That. Was. Childish. Of. Me."
"What's so amusing? Think I can't make it?"
There were many words Ochako associated with him. Regal usually wasn't one of them. As the silver glow of the moon spilled over his form though, Katsuki radiated authority, power, and a wild drive to make his dream a reality. Under all that, there was warmth too. So far she had gotten only glimpses of it but Ochako was willing to let it consume her whole.
"I didn't say that." Then as an afterthought, she added. "When you become the King, will you let me serve as your Knight?" Her heart struggled to leap out of her chest, drowning every other sound around her. "I mean, you obviously won't need someone. Your strength will be clear as day to everyone but ya know. Kings have to deal with finances and lots of other things than the battlefield. After de-throwing the previous ruler, some might conspire against you too. So it might help to have trusty subjects look after your back."
The silence dropped on her shoulders like deadweight. Ochako had crossed every line possible. If anyone heard them talking, they'd be hanged for treason. Their families or more precisely her parents could be killed too. This was no laughing matter to talk so casually about.
"I…" Katsuki said. "I won't stop you if that's what you want."
She looked up from their joined hands, her cheeks so warm she didn't feel the cold anymore. "For real?"
He broke eye-contact, coughing in his scarf. "It's going to be a tournament anyway. I'll only accept the strongest people in my court," he said. "The competition will be tough."
"You think I can't make it?" she joked.
The moment he grinned was when Ochako received the answer she had been looking for all along. "Nah. I don't want to have to pretend I'm sorry for the other guys."

Love your one-shots! I was wondering if you could use prompts 5 and 8 with Loki. So I was thinking maybe the reader and him have a weird thing going on where they both find comfort in each other but Loki’s kinda rude to her bc he doesn’t want to except her in his life, so one day he pushes her a little too far with his insults so she basically stops trying to be friendly and he has to accept his feelings and apologize. I love angst, like LOVE love, but fluffy ending? Loki confides in Thor? Thx!
Touch
Pairing: Loki X Reader
Word Count: 1940
Warnings: Some cursing.
Prompts: 5- "You have always been my first priority. Maybe one day I'll be yours."8- "Look, I just don't want you sleeping alone tonight."
A/N: I’m sorry this is so late everyone! High school is absolutely ridiculous and I have just not had the energy to write at all or even look at my writing, so many things were written and deleted, over and over again. Soon I’ll be back to doing this more often. I still accept requests though, maybe they start up some inspiration in me. But I missed y’all! I hope you enjoy this.
Loki is actually very comfortable. You wouldn't think he was, considering he's a tower of bone and angry glares, but the only way you were able to coax yourself to sleep was if you crawled in his bed or on his lap, and laid your head on his chest. He would allow you to do so, if only for the fact that he seems to cherish the physical touch, always holding you against him with a strong arm and lightly protesting when you wanted to get up. The others found this incredibly weird however, both because this is Loki, destroyer of New York that you're cuddling with, and also because he always insults you.Always."Good morning you two." You pipe up, coming into the kitchen to see Thor and Loki sitting at the table, Thor sipping some coffee and smiling at you, and Loki grunts."Would you like some coffee too, Loki?" You walk over to the machine, humming lightly as you pop in some pods."Only if it's actually coffee instead of that watered-down trash you usually make." You falter slightly as you hear Loki's words, but you laugh it off, popping n a pod for him too."You still drink it, so that says more about you than me." Once the coffee's done, you put a mug in front of him and sip at your own, grabbing your book from your back pocket. He looks at you over the brim of the mug, and rolls his eyes."Are you seriously reading that infernal book again? What's so good about reading the same book over and over again?""I like it. The story is nice, I'm able to put myself in the main characters shoes." You mutter, having given this explanation every time he saw you reading it."Oh, really? That's a romance. When is the last time you have ever been in a romantic situation?" He chuckles to himself, reading his own book, and you say nothing in response."No, seriously, I don't think I know the last time I have ever seen you with a man. That has happened, I presume. Or maybe not, since you feel the need to read about it in books." Loki puts his book down at this point, focusing on you, and you bite your lip, trying to fight back some tears. While you hadn't had a relationship in a while, you didn't feel like you were lesser because of it. But then why were his words making you feel like you were?"I wonder why that is. Do you think someone can love you?" He asks, and that seems to break something in you, as a few tears roll down your cheeks as you gab your mug and book and walk out of the room. Loki goes back to his own coffee and book, until Thor kicks him in the shin."Now what is the point in doing that?" Loki grumbles, rubbing his knee and reading until Thor grabs it and throws it to the floor."What was the point in questioning Y/N like that? Your insults usually go far, according to my own standards, but that was just ridiculous.""What are you talking about? I always insult her, she always brushes it off. Watch, in a few minutes she'll come here and laugh about it." Loki grabs his book again but THor slaps it out of his hand."Would you stop doing that?""Tears went down her cheeks, brother.""That's her own issue, not mine.""It's your issue if you were the one that brought them out in the first place."Loki stays silent."I don't think I went that far." He says quietly, and Thor huffs."Fine. See how she acts around you from now on. Come to me when you realize how much of a mistake you've made." Thor leaves, taking his coffee with him, leaving Loki alone with his thoughts, a scuffed up book, and cold coffee.----------Loki realized it very quickly, according to Thor's standards, considering Loki often never thinks about anyone other than himself.Over the past couple days, you firstly never offered to make Loki coffee. In fact, even when you asked, you muttered for him to get it himself, and left the room. During meetings, you never asked for the others to listen to what Loki had to say, rendering him silenced in meetings without you forcing the others to quiet down. Even when he came into the library, you would act as if he never existed, only moving to leave if he tried talking to you. However, the hardest thing was the coldness. He was used to you coming up to him during the day to hug him, or crawl on his lap when you were tired, or even just brush your hand against his when you were walking by. At night, you would often crawl into his bed after a nightmare, and you seemed to warm the whole bed just by being there. Now, Loki was overwhelmingly cold for a Frost Giant, and when he realized that, he decided to confront you directly."Y/N, enough of this. You're acting childish." He said, but you simply got up and went past him to leave.Or, at least you tried to. He grabbed your arm with nimble fingers and pulled you back in front of him."Let me go, Loki.""No, you have to listen to me. This is getting ridiculous.""Like hell I do Loki, let me go.""Not until you tell me what I even did to warrant this kind of reaction from you."You just stare up at him, then start laughing, and he gets even more confused."Why are you laughing, what's so funny?""Is your head so far up your ass that you can only think of bullshit? Everything you've done Loki is what you did to warrant this very necessary reaction. The thing is, Loki," You manage to wrench your arm out of his grip, "you have always been my first priority. Maybe one day, I'll be yours." You storm past him and out the doors, leaving Loki to stare at his hand, the warmth leaving his fingers as quickly as you had.----------"Alright, I was an idiot. How do I stop that." Loki storms into the gym where Thor was practicing."Bit too late to stop that." Thor says, his fist connecting with the punching bag, sending a loud THUD through the room."Then how do I make Y/N like me again?" "Well, that is a question you have to ask yourself. Another question, why do you even care if she likes you or not? She's acting like everyone else has done, what makes you care about it now?" THUD."I don't know, she's different."THUD."Well, alright, she's warm."THUD."She's warm, and nice to me."THUD."She's warm, and nice, and she smells like chocolate and rain. She doesn't flinch when I touch her. She listens to me and actually wants to, she looks at my face like she doesn't see a monster, but instead a man. She's able to pervade my thoughts even when she isn't there, she seems to make my heart stop and quicken at the same time when I see her, and she makes me not realize what I'm saying when I look at her. When she doesn't talk to me, or look at me, or even acknowledge I'm there, I'm cold. My thoughts are only of her, and whenever I see her I just want her in my arms. But she won't look at me, and that makes me feel like my heart is ripped out of my chest. It's sickening." Loki has sat on a mound of mats, staring into the floor."Well, that sounds like love brother.""Does it?""Well of course. Doesn't explain why you would insult her with reminders and insinuations that she has never been loved or ever will be, though.""Well, isn't that how you woo human women anyway? Insult them so they will like you?""Where did you ever hear that?""Some people online, I think they're called incels?"Thor stares down at Loki for a while, then sighs deeply."I'm telling Stark to take your computer away. Gods Loki, I thought you knew how to woo women.""Well sure, when it's a game. Y/N is special.""Which is why you have to apologize to her and pray to me, as God of Fertility," Loki rolls his eyes, "that she will forgive you.""You think I can just..do that? She was incredibly angry at me last time I talked to her.""I listened to that. That wasn't an apology. Apologize to her. Now. It's close to nightfall, she's probably in her bedroom." Thor turns back to the punching bag."But what do I say? How do I know?"THUD.Loki grumbles, going upstairs, his heart beating out of his chest.------------You were in bed when Loki knocked on the door. When you opened it, you almost slammed it shut but he shouted 'Wait!', stopping the door with one hand, and now he was simply staring own at you and saying nothing."If you aren't going to say anything, I'm going to bed now." You mutter, going back to your bed and leaving him in the doorway, turning your back to him."Look, I..I don't want you to sleep alone tonight." He says from the door."Good for you. I'm fine with it. Apparently I'll have to do it for a long time.""That wasn't what I meant when I said that." Him saying that caused you to sit up and face him, about to yell but you falter as you see his face, which held a look that you had never before seen on Loki Laufeyson.Guilt."Well..what did you mean then." You sigh, and he growls slightly."I..I thought that was a way to woo you. That's beside the point, I came here to apologize. For the whole 'my head up my ass' situation, as you eloquently put it.""That's because it is." You say softly, "But, what do you mean 'woo me'?"If you didn't know any better you would say Loki was nervous, looking at the wall above your bed instead of your eyes."I don't know how to woo you. Some women hate me, others throw themselves at my feet. You did neither, and I was conflicted. I thought insults were the way to win your heart. Human women like bad boys, is a thing I read.""DO you honestly think you're not already a 'bad boy' by the simple fact of you being a super villain to humanity for years?""I may have not thought of it that way.""Anyway, that was wrong. Human woman want to be respected. Not continuously put down. If you had just came and talked to me, I'm sure you would have been happy by my response."Silence."I sincerely apologize. You didn't deserve that.""Sit with me.""What?""I'm cold." You say quietly, and lay back down, back to him. You sense him hesitating, then slowly close the door and pad over to you, sliding under the blankets behind you.You turn towards him, pulling yourself to him and place your head on his chest, hugging him tightly and sighing as you close your eyes.Loki quickly wraps his arms around you, letting out a few shaky breathes as he holds you close."I forgive you." You whisper, and he kisses the top of your head. You fall asleep, feeling warm for the first time in days.

comfort
While Marco is flying the wolf pack to Scotland, @ava-x-park stays with Ruth to comfort her hysterical best friend. To her surprise, she learns that being a good friend isn’t always gossip, shopping, and compliments.
tw: blood
Ruth: Something was wrong. Something had to be wrong. Marco hadn’t picked up his cell all day. Last night he’d flown off like some geeky superhero in a trench coat, pack of wolves floating around him like little deadly clouds. He’d simply flown off, alone, and left her, alone, and not once had he picked up his cell in twelve restless hours of calling and sobbing into her pillow and smashing whatever she could smash in her anxious rage. The least he could do is send her a text. Hey Ruth, I’m in Edinburgh, be home soon, in his typical careless, no-big-deal way of saying things that mattered. No. Idiot had gone off to be the hero and get his throat torn out as he starved himself of sleep and food, all alone, in boring ol’ Scotland of all places. Selfish jerk would get eaten by wolves and the only thing she’d know for sure was that he never picked up the phone ever again. In the meantime, Ruth had thrown enough fits to exhaust herself and trashed enough of her flat that she couldn’t properly sit or lie down anywhere except the floor. So on the floor she planted herself, pretending to nap between ragged sobs and panicked, ferocious text messaging.
Ava: As Ruth's self-proclaimed best friend, it was Ava's duty to comfort and soothe poor Ruth in her brother's absence - to be a pillar of strength and consolation during Ruth's time of deep distress and loss. To bring a sense of calm and clarity into the midst of the chaos of Ruth's desperate situation.
However, Ava being Ava and Ruth being Ruth, it was never going to be quite that simple.
The little silver spoon sang against the glass cup as Ava prepared some sweet chamomile tea. Stevia, of course, no sugar. Sugar was for breakups and when people died, and as far as Ava knew - despite Ruth's fears for the contrary - no one was dead just yet. There was no sense in adding to the dramatics by giving the poor girl sugar.
"Here you go, darling," she said in a soft, sing-song voice, as she padded back to Ruth. "Usually when mummy feels stressed she has a tramadol and takes herself to bed, but I don't have any tramadol." She took a seat on the floor opposite Ruth and offered out the cup. "So I made some tea. Apparently it's soothing. If it doesn't help, we can move on to wine, I'm sure I saw some Chardonnay in your drinks cabinet."
Ruth: She sniffled miserably as she poked a few more words into a text message. Please don't leave me here alone. I can't do this without you. Send. As Ava's nimble feet moved with an almost inaudible patter across the wooden floor and over the throw rug, Ruth weakly pushed herself up to sitting. Her hair hung limp and tangled over her face. Her wrinkled white blouse was smeared with blood and her jeans had dark mud-stains across the shins. She hadn't changed or showered or eaten in almost 24 hours. It didn't matter. Nothing mattered. Marco was the only person who mattered and he was gone.
"Thank you." She muttered as her hands wrapped around the little cup, her voice low and rough from crying. She didn't want tea, but she was raised to be polite whether she wanted it or not. Instead, she held the heat close to her chest. It was something warm in this cold, dreadful world. "I don't want to sleep. I don't want anything." Everything was wrong, from Ava's adorable little socks to the spinning ceiling fan above their heads. The world was wrong without Marco in it. "Why won't he answer me, Ava?" She already knew the answers. He's focusing on telekinetically flying himself and a pack of wolves. He's too high up for proper cell service, which was spotty over the wild parts of Great Britain to begin with. He didn't want to get distracted and mess up. He'd dropped or forgotten his phone somewhere. He fell, or he was attacked, or he was dead. "Why is he such a selfish jerk?" Her throat squeezed tight and her ragged voice turned to a squeak as she gripped the tea cup tight and sniffled back aching tears.
Ava: "Well, that's what the tramadol was supposed to be for," Ava explained with pronounced patience. She tucked her long legs neatly under herself and rested her now-empty hands in her lap. "At least get changed. A nice, hot shower and some fresh pyjamas. You'll feel a hundred times better, trust me."
At Ruth's questioning, she gave a exaggerated, sympathetic sigh. "Because he's a man," she explained. "And they're all the same. Brothers, boyfriends, dads... they all go to the same school of self-absorbedness and awful communication. It's just what they do, and we love them anyway for some reason. I'm sure Marco will be in touch with you again just as soon as he's finished dealing with those ghastly flea bags. He's probably off scrubbing himself with a wire brush as we speak and he'll be home before you know it." She folded her arms, forgetting herself for a moment and frowning deeply. If her mother were here, she would scold Ava about wrinkles.
"I still don't really understand what that boss wolf was even doing. Like, what on earth was he planning to do with Faye's body? Go to uni and drink at the weekends? Use his new thumbs to finally surf the net on an iPhone? What was the master plan, exactly?"
Ruth: Ruth’s eyes lifted from the little glass cup hugged in her hands to give Ava a deadpan, exhausted stare. She was too tired to argue. Last night, she might have thrown a fit if someone told her what to do, she might have screamed and tossed her mug of tea across the room. She didn’t have the energy to fight like that, not after a long, sleepless night of crying into her throw rug. Now she could only stare with sore, watery eyes, as if silently begging Ava not to force her up from the rug where she will decidedly lay until she dies.
Ruth sipped at her tea, then frowned at the boring herbal taste, like water and leaves. On second thought, that was all tea was, water and leaves. She set the cup aside and drew her knees up to her chest. Her focus faded in and out while Ava chattered on about fleas and scrubbing... Blood and dirt-stained fingers picked unconsciously at the mud on her jeans. Her mouth answered before her mind had even caught up. “He wanted power.” She blinked at the distant invisible place she’d been staring at for minutes before turning to look at Ava. “He was nothing more than an animal before Faye, just a wild dog, but inside Faye, he had power. He could communicate, he could manipulate, he could walk among us and nobody would throw him in a kennel and move him to the zoo. He was angry, and he wanted the power to do something about it.” She thought back to the night in the woods, dancing and feeling each other’s bodies under the full moon. She’d been asking herself the same question for days—what had Ulfric wanted out of that night? Was it really him in control, or had Faye shone through for one evening? Ruth hugged her knees tighter. “He wanted to hurt people. That’s reason enough to destroy him.”
Ava: "Well, he got one thing right, I suppose," Ava mused with a non-committal shrug. "People tend to underestimate the gift of the gab, but if you've got it, you've got an awful lot of people under your thumb. I guess he could talk to us and move around our world and still talk to all of his gross little friends." It was the best of both, really.
Oh-so-casually, she took her phone out of her pocket and brought up Marco's number. There were exactly two WhatsApp messages to him saved in her history: one from like a million years ago asking why his sister wasn't answering her phone, and one from last spring asking him when his birthday was, because she had been tipsy on champagne cocktails with Ruth and thought she was being dreadfully witty. Neither message had elicited a response from Marco, though the two blue ticks confirmed that he'd read them. She keyed in another message.
would u hurry up?? ruth planning ur funeral xx
Still smiling sweetly for Ruth, she put her iPhone away again.
"Anyway, like I said. Men. Even men who are wolves, or dogs, or whatever. Selfish."
Ruth: Ruth sighed, a long dramatic rush of exhaustion. Normally, she'd agree with Ava. They'd laugh about how terribly irritating men were--selfish, rude, ignorant... Ruth couldn't count how many times she'd told Ava stories of how Marco was impossibly frustrating and unkind to her, but for every tale of woe, there were two more stories of his generosity and love. Things had never been easy for them, father always had his expectations of them, but they held strong because they had each other. Without Marco, she would be utterly alone for the first time in her life. He had to come back. She needed him back in her arms, because if he didn't come back, she wouldn't know how to live without her other half.
A silence fell between them, exhausted and painfully aware of itself. Again, Ruth found herself staring at Ava with a blank, lifeless expression of disappointment. Everything was wrong. Words came out wrong, the carpet under her bum sat wrong, Ava's watery tea was wrong, Ruth's aching violated skin was wrong, the air felt wrong. Ava's presence only sharpened that sensation from a dull blade to a slicing edge.
Slowly, Ruth uncoiled herself and fell onto her back. She shut her eyes. For a moment she thought if she pretended to sleep again, maybe Ava would go home, leave Ruth to suffer in loneliness as loudly and as mud-caked as she wants. Then a strange thought popped into her head. Without getting up or opening her eyes, Ruth muttered. "Why are you here, Ava? What do you want?" Her hands felt heavy, as if someone rested a 20 kg weight in each palm. They sank into the fluffy rug, blood-stained fingers curling in on themselves. "I thought we weren't talking anymore."
Ava: Ava watched her friend mope with concern, a tiny crease appearing between her perfectly-maintain eyebrows. Ruth was acting like her brother was already as good as dead. None of them had died yet. They'd all come up against the wolf pack in one way or another, and they were all still alive. Even Des, and all he had to defend himself were flashy lights. Marco could literally move things with his mind. He could even fly. He was going to be fine.
Ruth's question, however, threw her slightly. "Hmm?" She tilted her head to one side and tried not to sound as miffed as she felt. "What d'you mean, why am I here? You can't be all by yourself in this state, can you?" She fell silent for a moment, the hurt worming its way into her chest as she scrambled to find something else to say.
"Of course we're talking, Ruth! What on earth are you going on about? Honestly, all this stress has made you really confused. You're my bestie, babe. Just because we've been, like, super busy all year doesn't mean you're not still my fave, yeah?" She smiled at Ruth's supine form and folded her arms across her chest. "You know, I read this thing on Instagram the other day, about how really close friends can, like, not see each other for ages and then just pick up again right where they left off. I think that's totally us, don't you?"
Ruth: Eyes shut and body laid out like a skinned animal rug, Ruth tried not to sigh too loudly at Ava’s trite response. Tried, and failed. There were nine other people who could have come to comfort her, but Ava was the one who’d come. Ava, who’d been avoiding her for months. She had an angle, a motive, something. She wouldn’t just show up now to play nurse to someone she didn’t want to see without a reason. The idea that Ava was only here to watch her settled bitterly in her chest. Just another watcher, another person she thought she knew, wasting their time making sure she doesn’t do anything reckless. Slowly, Ruth explained with only a little venom. “I don’t need a babysitter. I’m a grown woman. I can eat, and sleep, and poop when I want to. That’s not why you’re here.” Again, she asked. ”What do you want?”
The reply was not what she’d been expecting. Ava, as she always did with her perfect knack for being perfect, smiled and brushed away Ruth’s concerns as easy as swiping left. Ruth’s eyes eased open to stare at the whirling ceiling fan. Confused? God, she really was confused. The world felt like it was crashing down on her head and nobody else could even feel it at all. Was she really losing it this time?
Her face scrunched up as a hiccup of a sob escaped, hot tears spilling free once again. “I’m s-sorry, Ava. I don’t know what I w-was thinking. Of course we’re still besties. Besties forever.” She swiped her hands across her cheeks to brush her fat, heavy tears away. Her fingers left brown smudges across her face. She gasped another quivering breath and squeaked as she stifled another sob. “I thought... I had my accident, and then you s-stopped messaging me, and I... I thought I scared you away. I thought you didn’t like me anymore.” She buried her crumpled, crying face in her hands, too embarrassed to share her gross snotty tears with Ava. “I love you, b-ballerina babe. Please don’t hate me for what I said.”
Ava: Honestly, Ruth's super-suspicious line of questioning was confusing - not to mention the rudest. Here was Ava, making tea and offering a listening ear like the amazing friend that she was, and all Ruth could do was shout at her and like some snappy... snap... McSnappington.
"Well, my darling. You're very upset right now, so I'm going to let that..."
She trailed off when Ruth suddenly dissolved into a puddle of tears and heartfelt apologies, and her own heart softened, kneaded with a strangely upsetting combination of genuine sympathy and gnawing guilt. "Oh, sweetie..." she said quietly, shuffling across the floor to draw alongside Ruth before lying on the floor next to her. "I was scared. Super scared. I wake up one morning to like, fifty billion WhatsApps all telling me to ring back, it's an emergency, you've tried to..." She paused, hesitating and blinking back tears. "That you've tried to... to hurt yourself. And then some of the others are saying it was to do with this... this stupid magic nonsense."
She fought to get a grip on herself before she started crying too. It wouldn't do to cry. This wasn't a big deal. They were best friends, just like they always had been. Nothing had changed.
"T-totally spooked, babe," she went on, with a nonchalance she's perfected over countless years. "And it was so not cute of me to ghost you like that. Completely selfish. I am so, so sorry for being such a hideous flake." She rolled on to her side to face her friend her head resting on her arm. "I love you too, gorgeous. It's you and me, yeah?" She reached out a perfectly-manicured hand and brushed away a tear. "Best friends."
Ruth: Buried in her hands, Ruth tried to swallow down the tide of tears that kept rising up, stinging at her eyes and spilling down her cheeks. She heard Ava move, her motions graceful, quiet, gentle. Everywhere she went was a dance, an expression of her perfect lithe shape. Someone like Des or Imogen would have plopped down beside her like a great sack of potatoes, announcing their arrival with fanfare and perhaps a little endearing clumsiness. But Ava, she moved with elegance, like a flower opening to the morning sun. In many ways, her best friend was like her twin brother, a rather inevitable turn of events considering how close she and Marco were. Just like him, Ava was almost always perfect. She was always smiling, always controlled, determined and practiced, talented and beautiful. Just like Marco, Ava was gifted. Her beauty inspired Ruth, and it tormented her. She could never be that graceful, that naturally smooth and gentle. Wiping her face roughly with long fingers, Ruth sniffled back the soggy tears and blinked at her effortlessly gorgeous friend.
"It was so, so scary." She nodded in mopey, pathetic agreement. "I thought I could make it disappear, get these horrible images out of my head, if I threw it all away and left this awful place, but without the paint..." Without the paint, there were so many other ways to pour her soul out onto the canvas. Her wrists itched painfully where the scars knotted her fair skin. "I wanted to d-do everything on my own, to prove I was s-strong and smart enough to control it, that there was nothing wrong with me. I..." Her throat tightened, but she pushed onward in a small, whimpering voice. "You're right. I can't be alone. I'm not strong enough."
Slowly, Ruth shuffled closer, reaching out to rest a soft arm around Ava's petite waist. "Best friends. No matter what. Even when... when... I'm not..." Even when I'm not pretty, or strong, or smart, or funny. Even when I'm falling apart. Please, please love me. Tell me I'm enough. She wriggled in closer, trying to hide her messy face against Ava's chest.
Ava: Ava shook her head. This was so typical Ruth. So independent and stubborn. So hell-bent on doing everything herself, even when it was a disaster waiting to happen. Still, she couldn't blame her. Their powers scared Ava, too. Ava, as much as she avoided this truth, had been frightened into inaction. Ruth had had the guts to attempt an escape.
"Oh, darling," she sighed. "Your painting is in you, like my dancing is in me. You can bin your paints all you like but I'm afraid there's no running away from how devastatingly talented you are!" She allowed herself to smile again. "Maybe this magic thingy is the same. It just sort of is."
She hugged Ruth close to her, not sure what to say. Her usual go-tos when comforting her friends were to tell them they were just so pretty, that they didn't need so-and-so in their lives anyway, or that they should go clubbing or shopping. Somehow, in the face of Ruth's raw pain, with her friend's thick, tangled hair between her fingers, none of her pre-programmed responses seemed adequate. That quiet, growing panic that had become increasingly familiar to her since beginning her studies at Durham made it's presence known once again, and she fought to contain it.
"Even when you're not quite up to yourself, yes. Of course. What are friends for, after all? Darling, you've been so brave. But the wolf thing is gone now. Marco will be back in no time, all fussing about being hungry and having dog hair on his jacket. Faye will be up and about in no time and we can all get back to normal. That's all we want, really, isn't It?"
Ruth: “Devastatingly talented? That’s your choice of words?” Ruth wanted to slap Ava’s cheeky mouth, so she did, gently. Rolling onto her side, she lifted a hand to pat Ava on the cheek, leaving a muddy smudge in her wake. A smile threatened to pull at her lips as she noticed the dirty handprint on Ava’s flawless cheek, a little bit of artful juxtaposition. At least she’d left her mark somewhere in the world before the end of it all. “Devastatingly something, I wouldn’t say talented, maybe foolish.” Rolling again onto her back, she blinked her aching eyes at the whirling ceiling fan. Her smile faded, sharpening into a little frown of contemplation. Maybe it just is. That bit of logic went against everything the authors had told them, but that could be why it sounded so appealing. Of course, anything sounded more appealing than cursed to die horribly. For some of them, they had taken to their powers like a fish takes to water. For Ruth, it felt more like her powers had taken to her. Overwhelming waves that crashed on her head before receding away into the depths of the unknown future, leaving her smeared with paint, sore and confused. All she could do to control it was keep her paints and pencils nearby for those moments when the levee broke and time came flooding in. Was that what Ava meant by “it just is”?
It was easier to ignore the gnawing fearful questions when she was pressed up against Ava, wrapped in her slender arms with the sweet floral scent of her filling Ruth’s head. Fingers brushed into the thick matted hair at the back of her head. Finally, her ragged breathing began to settle into a rhythm. Her quivering relaxed into a heavy exhaustion. Ava’s fingers curling into her hair sent waves of warm, tingly sedation through her. She snuggled against Ava’s chest, relieved to feel cool skin against her burning hot cheek. Her breath swept across Ava’s skin in quiet little hiccups. Ava’s voice was like a melody, light and dainty as birdsong. Again, the flimsy ghost of a smile floated on her lips. Marco would saunter back in complaining about hair on his jacket as if he’d only been gone minutes, rather than days. “Marco...” Her giggle was a tiny breathless wheeze. “I miss him.”
Faye, too. She missed Faye’s careful fingers, her soft lips, her watchful eyes. That Faye was gone. This new Faye wouldn’t dote on her every movement, wouldn’t drink in her every word like poetry. The wolf was dead. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
Ruth nodded against Ava’s chest. “Normal,” she whispered. Her head was immensely heavy. Simply the act of breathing took all the energy she had left after her violent fit of tears. She shut her eyes. “I’m not sleeping.” She insisted in a small groggy mutter. “I’m just resting my eyes for a minute.”
Ava: Ava laughed as Ruth gently cuffed her cheek. So relieved was she to see her friend show even a glint if her usual cheerful banter that she was even willing to let the muddy smudge on her face go. Either way, she was still the cleanest person in the room. That would have to do. "Devastatingly gorgeous, then," she offered.
Ruth had become calm, and Ava shut her own eyes in the soft silence that came with the likely-brief island of tranquillity in the sea of her friend's emotions. "I know you do, babe," she replied softly. "He misses you too. That's why he's going to hurry back."
She opened one eye and glanced down at Ruth's head, profoundly unconvinced by Ruth's claim. "Darling, if I blew on you right now you'd be off. Why don't you go to bed? I can wait here and wake you up if Marco comes back, yeah?"
Ruth: “God, I hope he hurries back.” Ruth grumbled sleepily into Ava’s chest. “I can’t live like this. I can’t keep living like this. Always on edge... waiting for the next attack... the next bout of bad news...” Her voice hummed low as she babbled her drowsy worries. “Every time I think I can trust someone, they hurt me or they leave me, everyone but Marco... but he’s run off, too.” Weakly rubbing her watery eyes, she sighed. “For once, I just want to feel safe, like there isn’t someone waiting to jump at me from the shadows.” She sniffled miserably. “The stress is killing my complexion.” Some mornings she didn’t even recognize herself in the mirror.
Sleep. She was so unbelievably tired. If Marco would just come marching victoriously through her door, she would finally be able to let everything go and let sleep take her. Until then, her thoughts stuttered between sluggish disappointment and frantic bursts of fear and anger. “Noooo...” She moaned quietly, squeezing a little tighter at Ava’s waist as if to hold herself there on the floor with her. “What if he calls?” Her voice began to tighten and turn high-pitched with panic. “What if he doesn’t come here first? What if he shows up on the news? I don’t want to miss anything!” Her breath faltered. Her voice wavered into a plea, rather than a demand. “I can’t sleep. Marco might need me at any moment. I have to... I have to stay... awake.” Again, she hid her face in Ava’s chest, shielding her friend from seeing how her eyes could barely keep open, despite her worried protests.
Ava: Ava sighed deeply. "It's not fair, is it, darling?" She replied. "Do you ever think maybe life would have worked out so much easier if we just... hadn't all gone down to the beach that first night? I mean... " she smiled, abashed. "I only went out that night because I was meant to meet some boy from History of Art - you remember the fit one with the ponytail that dropped out last May?" Her smile faded at the memory, her free hand moving unconsciously to rub at the muddy streak on her face. "Anyway, I stood him up. Got to the bar and just, like, kept walking. And the beach looked so lovely that I wanted to take a picture and put it on my Instagram." She glanced sideways at Ruth and raised her eyebrows. "Should have just gone on the stupid date, shouldn't I?"
She'd gone off on a bit of a tangent, but she didn't really mind. Ruth probably didn't care too much either. The poor girl was almost out cold.
Ah, skin. Something Ava could actually help with. "Perfect, then. We'll do facials at my apartment once all of this is finished... just... just as soon as you aren't muddy anymore." The carpet in her bedroom was cream, after all.
Ruth's sudden protests caused her to sit up. "Ruth. Darling. Marco is going to be such a pain if he finds I didn't look after you properly," she said. "He'll know, too. No amount of eye cream is going to fix this, babe."
Ruth: Ruth remembered the boy with the ponytail. He’d been smart, but lazy, uncommitted. Ruth had several classes with him in her first year. She had glared at him from across the room every time she noticed his nose buried in his phone in the middle of lecture. Maybe all that glaring had injected him with some terrible illness, or maybe he’d finally decided he was too smart for school, either way he’d dropped out suddenly and Ruth had never seen him again. Ava’s chest slid out beneath her cheek as the girl moved to glance at her. Ruth blinked the tears from her eyes and raised her head to meet Ava’s dark, sweet eyes. A slight smile tugged at Ruth’s lips. Ava was so naturally lovely, even smudged with dirt and shadowed with somber emotions. Ruth imagined painting that soft, radiant face, smoothing delicate pinkish porcelain-colored paint onto the canvas with her sharp painting knife to get the clean, flawless reflection of her beauty. “He was pretty, but that guy had no dedication to anything. It’s good you stood up that cheeseball. He’s no good for you.” Even exhausted and upset, Ruth knew without a shadow of a doubt that Ava would have abhorred dating that loser. It was obvious.
“We were star-gazing,” Ruth began in a dreamy, far-away mutter. “Marco and I, we were already at the beach together, looking at the stars. We do that in the summertime when school gets out, just lay back and talk about cabbages and kings while the night turns all around us for hours and hours and hours...”
Every time she thought she had gotten the tears under control, they began to creep back up again. Her eyes welled up with wetness at the simple suggestion that they do facials together, something they used to do regularly before her accident had driven an awkward wedge between them. For perhaps the first time in twenty-four hours, Ruth paused to look down at herself. Her clothes were caked and smeared with dried sticky muck. The dried blood on her hand was falling off in ragged little chips. Her hair hung in thick, matted tangles, rather than her usual luscious waves.
When had she become such a horrible mess? How had she let it get so bad? With Ava here, no less—perfect, gorgeous, well-composed Ava, who never looked less than completely stunning.
Mortified, she hid her face in her hands, wishing she had Cleo’s gift to disappear. “Ohmygod, I’ve lost it. I’ve really lost it. I’m on the floor in day-old clothes with dirty hair and blood and... and Marco’s going to have a cow. Oh god, what do I do? I’m such a mess. No wonder everyone thinks I’m totally mental.”
Ava: Ava smirked. "Yeah, definitely. He probably thought he was God's gift to women, too. The way he used to peek around sometimes in lectures to see if anyone was looking at him. I mean, he was hot and everything, but I'm actually fairly sure that he was so in love with himself that going out with anybody else would have counted as cheating."
As Ruth's eyes began to well up with tears again, Ava lay back down next to her again. "Yeah, and it's like, June now. You'll be doing it again this time next week, I promise. Just lazing about chatting about.... about cabbages in the sky and all those lovely things." Probably twinspeak. She didn't ask.
"You have a little bit, darling," Ava admitted with a twinkly laugh. "It's so not like you but let's face it, you're still hotter than the majority of people on their good days. What you do, is get a shower and have a nap. I don't care which one you do first - although I'm sure you'd be far more comfortable with all this dried muck off you." She got to her feet and put her hands on her hips. "Right. Chop chop. You decide what you're doing first and I'm going to get you a towel and some nice clean pajamas."
Ruth: Ruth sniffled and gasped, trying to suck back the tears, collect them inside herself where no one else could see them. It only made her sounds more miserable as she struggled to breathe. Ava's closeness beside her was a troubling comfort. Rub her face and sniffle all she wanted, she couldn't hide her pathetic sobbing enough for Ava not to notice. Ruth had tried so hard for so long to be strong, to be independent, but her best friend's closeness and understanding left Ruth's exhausted strength feeling as flimsy as a wall of dry leaves. A little shove sent her spiraling off in all directions, scattered powerlessly on the wind. She had missed Ava in her absence far more than she had thought. Being smart and strong was so agonizingly boring sometimes.
She missed facials and shopping and moaning about gross people in their classes. She missed wandering in new places and laughing at each other and staying up until the run rose. She missed riding bikes down hills and splashing paint on each other and arguing over what to eat for lunch. She missed having friends. Without Marco, her life had become lonely and loveless. But she hadn’t truly lost Ava, not like she lost Des all those years ago, only frightened her best friend. She prayed to the heavens that she wouldn’t lose Marco this time. She opened her mouth to argue that Ava couldn’t promise her that it would happen. People kept promising to her that Marco would be back, but they weren’t actually doing anything to bring him home. Hypocrites, the lot of them. Her breath wobbled out a small hiccup. While she swallowed down that wave of tears, she decided she’d argue another day, one where she wasn’t barely keeping herself together.
It’s not fair. Ruth was tired and muddy and fighting to hold back tears while Ava was glowing with laughter and kindness. Ava was effortlessly perfect. Like Marco, she never tripped and fell on her face, never lost her cool. Rory, too. Stupid air signs and their stupid flawless smiles. It’s not fair.
“Th-thanks,” she muttered into her hands. Pulling her fingers away tentatively, she looked down at her hands and grimaced. “Shower.” She nodded. “He can’t see me like this he’ll throw a fit.” She looked around her at the rug, spotted with crumbles and smears of mud, then at her filthy hands, then up at Ava. Her eyes still puffy and watery, she held out her hands for Ava to help her up off the floor. ”Ohmygod I’m so gross.” She whined once she climbed to her feet. Her skin stung as she peeled the jean jacket from her shoulders. In the hours she’d been fussing and screaming and lying there, the jacket had nearly adhered itself to her back. She winced as she dragged it over her aching muscles, then dropped in it a heap on the floor. The white blouse beneath the jacket cling to her skin in filthy patches, splattered with blood. She didn’t hesitate for a second, curling her fingers under the hem and lifting the soiled shirt over her head before throwing it to the ground. She didn’t care what happened to the shirt now. Wash it, burn it, throw it in the rubbish, it was all the same as long as she didn’t have to look at it again. Her steps were slow and unsteady as she fumbled with the button of her skinny jeans while she wandered toward her bedroom.
Ava: "Oh you know he will, darling. He'll come strutting in here and he'll be like..." She plastered an exaggerated frown on her face and deepened her voice. "Oh, Elizabeth, you look just simply frightful, what the devil have these - these nincompoops been doing with you while I was gone? If I can fly to Scotland whilst juggling a pack of wolves, one would think that they'd be able to to look after you between then. I shall have Jeeves lop their heads off!"
She was talking nonsense now. Anything to lighten the mood. Anything to coax her to do something - anything - that wasn't lying on her floor in floods of tears. Ava had no idea what to do with that. She knew how to gently tease and gossip and giggle. She was a good mate. As this conversation went on, however, she was becoming ever more sinkingly aware that she wasn't a particular skilled friend. She'd never really practiced it.
Her existential crisis was put on hold briefly as Ruth undressed right there and then, dripping with her trademark nonchalance at being stood in front of someone as she peeled her clothes off. Soft, tanned skin brushed futilely at patches of dirt and blood, her normally silky dark curls hanging in a matted, scruffy mess around her face as she bemoaned the state she was in. Even filthy and bedraggled, she was gorgeous. Ava was sure that in the same position, she herself would look like something that had crawled out of a swamp. Ruth's dark gaze and fascinating softness would shine even through anything.
She blinked as Ruth turned away and made her way out of the room, and realised that she'd been staring. Ruth probably thought she was being rude. Or worse, creepy. God, she wasn't a creep. She was just - well, tired. They were all tired. It was bound to be making them all peculiar.
Sighing, she got to her feet and picked up the dirty shirt, bundling it up in her arms and hovering for a moment, unsure of what to do. Finally, when Ruth had left the room, she tiptoed to the kitchen to find the bin to dispose of the shirt. And make some more green tea. God, she needed a cup of tea.
Ruth: Ruth winced as her first name left Ava's lips. She could hardly stand it when Marco called her by that name, as much as he was accustomed to using it for some godforsaken reason. When anyone else called her Elizabeth the feeling changed from a frustrated fondness to a sour taste that strangled her throat. Even if it was just a joke, a silly impersonation, Ruth couldn't help but wear a theatrical pouty frown. "I don't need to be looked after," she grumbled quietly. "I just need a slap over the head from time to time." Maybe a kiss on the cheek and a handful of compliments too, but she wasn't going to admit that to anyone. With a small sniffle, she attempted to fix her hair, tucking wild strands behind her ears and combing fingers through thick snarls at the back of her head. She was fine. She could take care of herself, when she wasn't swept away in the floodwaters of her anger and fear. Lifting her chin proudly, she dammed up the levee. She had appearances to keep, a reputation to uphold. Too many people were already questioning her sanity. They couldn't see her like this.
Ruth squeezed her eyes shut as she wriggled out of her tight jeans that gripped at the curves of her hips and thighs. Hopping precariously on one foot, she worked off her tiny striped socks one at a time, then peeled the trousers from her legs. It felt good to be free of the binding clothing that stifled her skin. She left a trail of stripped away clothes strewn about behind her as she meandered toward the bathroom. Her breath froze in her throat as she caught a glance at herself in the mirror, haggard and stained, with dark circles set deep under her puffy pink eyes and hair in an ugly knot at her neck. With a heavy sigh, she started the shower, waiting for the hot water to steam over the horrifying image in the mirror. In the distance, she heard the kettle bubbling to life again. Ruth plucked a cotton pad from the cabinet and doused it in makeup remover before she set to work wiping the streaks of black eyeliner and soft shimmery eyeshadow from her face.
A thought kept flitting in and out of her head as she dabbed at her face. Ava stayed. Even when Ruth looked like a walking nightmare, and wanted to scream at everything and everyone, Ava stayed. Ruth had snapped at her and told her to go, still Ava stayed. She wasn't sure what that meant, but it meant something. Staring at her pinkish, bare face with sunken dark eyes, Ruth was at a loss for reasons. Maybe there wasn't one. Ava didn't need to have a reason to be there. Without a second thought, Ruth padded back to the door to her bedroom so she could poke her head through and call to her friend. "Hey, Ava? I'm glad we're best friends." Then she slipped back to the washroom to climb into the shower.

Niederschrift von Sam Parks Video (GERMAN-DEUTSCH)
ICSA – Juli 2014, Washington, D.C.
Sun Myung Moon Soon-wha Choi / Annie Choi
18.29 Dessen ungeachtet hatte mein Vater seinen Entschluss gefasst.
Sun Myung Moons Postkarte an Soon-wha (Annie) Choi. 1965.
23.58 Bekommen Sie jetzt bitte kein falsches Bild.

THE INHERITORS/HEIRS
If you’re no stranger to the K-drama world, then you must know how popular this drama is. For most avid K-drama watchers, The Heirs is one of those pieces, which brought them into the fold. I’ll be honest and say that it was the cast which influenced me to watch this drama, as the storyline wasn’t that interesting to me at all.
From the get-go, we’re introduced to the main female character of this drama. Cha Eun Sang from her first impression, seems to have a good head on her body, as well as a lot of things on her mind. At this point in the drama, the plot keeps a steady pace, but then a sudden decision is made by Cha Eun Sang, and so we’re thrown into a different setting as the story picks up.
The Heirs’ main male character is then thrown into the mix, and immediately we see where this character is in an entirely different class than Cha Eun Sang. Thus Kim Tan is presented as a rich heir who’s studying abroad. At the time when the setting reverts to South Korea, we now know that The Heirs is yet another spin on the poor-girl, rich-boy story.
As the plot continues, we’re introduced to other characters who provide an interesting backstory in this drama. Amongst the group of young inheritors, you’ll see that the plot hints at a bit of animosity which is interesting. And with this knowledge, you’ll find yourself holding on a bit more to see what will happen.
On the other hand, while I was waiting for such drama to unfold, I realized that there were a few moments in this drama, where I found myself feeling quite bored. There is a lot to look forward to with a plot of this type, but for some reason somewhere along the way, things became a bit difficult to follow. Throughout The Heirs, you might find that you’re slowly losing interest, however what I can say is that, there are a few scenes which will draw you in.
Since this is a romantic drama, I must comment on the chemistry between the two leads. I have to say that I admired how both Kim Tan and Cha Eun Sang fought for their relationship to stay afloat. There were moments when I liked seeing them on screen as they interacted well with each other, however this feeling wasn’t maintained throughout the entire drama.
The downside then presents itself when I became more interested in the stories of the supporting characters. In my opinion, the chemistry between these two seemed to fluctuate a lot; one minute they’re really into each other, and the next minute, it seemed like they were forced to be together.
Lee Min Ho plays the character of Kim Tan, one of this drama’s young heirs, who’s probably engaged? I’m kinda still a bit confused. Anyway, Kim Tan is the type of guy who gets things done, and for that he’s a likeable character. Lee Min Ho is truly a talented actor with many projects under his belt, you can find him The Legend of the Blue Sea, and Faith.
Park Shin Hye plays the character of Cha Eun Sang, a simple teenager who just wants to have a trouble-free life. I admit that Cha Eun Sang cried a lot during this drama, and there were times when I wished she would just somehow run out of tears, however her character is a bit likeable. Park Shin Hye is yet another talented actress, and so you should check her out in Pinocchio, and Doctors.
I won’t take anything away from The Heirs when it comes to the cast. Each supporting actor played his/her role really well, and so the small side stories are interesting enough to capture your attention. These actors and actresses includes, Kim Woo Bin, Kang Min Hyuk, Kang Ha Neul, Krystal, Kim Ji Won, and Park Hyung Sik. Do show your support for these talented individuals by checking out their projects.
The Heirs was directed by Kang Shin Hyo who worked on Children of a Lesser God, and Midas; as well as Boo Sung Chul who worked on Our Gab Soon, and Mask. The script was written by Kim Eun Sook who’s also known for creating the scripts for Descendants of the Sun, and Goblin.
The Heirs did win a few awards at the 2013 SBS Drama Awards:
Best Actor, Netizen Award, Best Dressed Award - Lee Min Ho
Excellent Actress - Park Shin Hye
Special Actress - Kim Sung Ryoung
Ten Star Award - Park Shin Hye, Kim Woo Bin, Lee Min Ho
Best Couple - Park Shin Hye, and Lee Min Ho
New Star Award - Kang Min Hyuk, Kim Ji Won, Choi Jin Hyuk
Plot: 3/5
Acting: 4/5
Cinematography: 5/5
Total: 12/15

1LL RECOGNIZE 1LL
Part I
Dok2 x Reader Words: 932 AUTHOR’S NOTE: This is just going to be a really small three-parter for shits ‘n’ giggles. Let me know what you think, though! Masterlist
You had grown up in K-Town and had subsequently become friends with the Korean kids there who had taught you how to speak Korean. One of your biggest passions was rap and your YouTube channel had become pretty big in Korea. You posted covers and original songs you had written and your fanbase had slowly built over the years.
Now you were sitting in a studio in Seoul for the first time passing time by playing with filters on Snow, trying to keep the bundle of nerves in your stomach from swelling. You had received an email a few months expressing interest in collaborating and your back-and-forth correspondence had led up to this moment. You couldn’t believe it really. Lee Joon Kyung, Dok2 himself, had been watching your channel for some time and written a song with the sole purpose of having you perform it with him.
The door opened and Shin Dong Gab entered the room. The Quiett! Butterflies erupted and you felt yourself starting to shake a little. You bit your lip to keep yourself from squealing, forcing your face to look pleased yet neutral and not like you wanted to scream. He walked towards you and you stood, taking his outstretched hand and shaking it.
“It’s a pleasure to have you here, _____.” He said taking a seat in a chair by the soundboard and turning it to face you.
“It’s an absolute pleasure to be here!” You said, failing to keep the excitement and delight from your voice. You had been a huge fan of 1llionaire for a while now and had spent many nights listening to their music, or performing covers of their songs. You couldn’t believe they even knew you existed and had actually invited you to participate on the next title track of their upcoming album as well as perform solo with Dok2!
“Joon Kyung will be here soon, he stopped to grab coffee.” Dong Gab said but before he’d even finished the sentence Joon Kyung came through the door, hands full with a coffee carrier and a paper bag that smelled like pastries. You got up from your chair to take something from him so he wouldn’t drop anything.
Joon Kyung smiled warmly at you as he placed the coffee carrier beside the bag you’d placed on the table. He held out his hand and you could almost swear he looked as excited as you felt, but you didn’t want to flatter yourself.
“I can’t believe you’re actually here!” He said looking over at Dong Gab and pointing at you. Dong Gab laughed and shook his head as Joon Kyung took a seat beside him at the soundboard. You returned to your seat by the coffee table and tried to suppress a hysterical laugh. You didn’t want to believe that Dok2 was excited to see you because who were you? You were a non-Korean foreigner who rapped for fun on YouTube, you weren’t anything special despite your follower count.
“Seriously, I really admire your style and after you released Rap Goddess, wow, I had to get in touch! You have a really unique and impressive flow, _____!” Joon Kyung gushed.
“Yah, what are you? A fanboy?” Dong Gab scolded playfully. Joon Kyung looked down at his feet, an embarrassed laugh escaping his lips.
“Sorry.” He said as Dong Gab handed you some sheets of paper.
“These are the tracks, you can have a look over them and change any of your parts that you’re not sure about.” Dong Gab said.
“Yeah, I really like your original lyrics as well, the way you word things sometimes is really cool.” Joon Kyung said before biting his lip at the look Dong Gab gave him.
“Dude, you’ll freak her out, she’s known you all of five minutes.” Dong Gab said, but he seemed amused at his friend’s outbursts. You laughed along with Joon Kyung as you caught his eye. Dong Gab was only partially right but what he didn’t seem to know was that, over the course of your correspondences, you and Joon Kyung had actually become kind of close. You liked to think you were on friendly terms, anyways, it felt that way.
The rest of the day was spent with you revising the lyrics they had written, finding only very little you wanted to change, and listening to the tracks they had created. By the time you left the studio you were very tired but exhilarated, the thought of actually starting to record keeping your eager excitement pumping through your body.
The night air was brisk in the wake of the warm day that had just left. You pulled out your phone to see if it was time enough to call your parents but someone calling your name interrupted you. You turned around to see Joon Kyung jogging toward you.
“Hey, I know you’re probably sick of me after the last eight hours being stuck in the same room-“ He started but you cut him off by laughing and shaking your head.
“Definitely not!” You assured him wanting to say more but not wanting to sound like an over enthusiastic fangirl. Joon Kyung laughed and looked a little relieved as though it was possible for you to have gotten sick of being stuck in a room with someone you really admired.
“Awesome, because I was thinking that maybe, I mean if you’re as hungry as I am, you’d want to grab something to eat? I know a good place nearby.” He said with a small smile. You smiled back and nodded.
“I’d like that.”

Korean Drama List [2017]
KBS
Have watched/Ongoing:-
Love in the Moonlight (★★★★☆, 4/5) - Not bad! Really funny and cute in the beginning of the show :) But towards the end, everything started becoming dark just like other historical dramas - all of the political power stuff and killing people omg - but glad that everything turned out well! Park Bo Gum is so cute!! And he matched very well with Kim Yoojung! :)
Hwarang: The Beginning (★★★☆☆, 3.5/5) - really loved the chemistry of the cast!! :) The plot could have been better but nevertheless, an enjoyable drama!
The Best Hit (★★★★☆, 4/5) - Just watched this for the 2D1N cast and didn’t expect anything much from this because there were no hype for it and the ratings were relatively low as compared to other concurrent dramas BUT omg the whole of South Korea is sleeping on this drama!! It had such a sweet romantic line and the humour/gags included were hilarious! Really props to both Yoo Ho Jin and Cha Tae Hyun for directing!! and Yoon Shi Yoon is so cute omg! and omg MC Drill, at first I thought he looked so much like Taeyang and now I know why HAHA (quite a lighthearted drama that is both fun and sweet!!)
To watch:-
Fight for My Way (Park Seo Joon!!! And Kim Ji Won!! Can’t wait to watch this cat and dog fight between them hahaha)
학교 2017, School 2017 (hmm... I have watched the past 2/3 School series should I watch this too???)
Uncontrollably Fond (Kim Woo Bin x Suzy)
MBC
Have watched/Ongoing:-
Missing 9 (★★★☆☆, 3.5/5) - Despite bad ratings in Korea, it was quite a thrilling drama. The suspense was there initially and the plot was interesting too. But one downside was that we all knew who the bad guy was from the start, so the suspense died halfway. I watched the thing till the end just to feel satisfied after seeing the bad guys put to justice!! But wow they forgave Choi Tae-ho!! And I wished they wrote more romance scenes for Ra Bong-hee and Seo Joon-oh ): they were quite an eccentric and cute couple :)
[currently watching] 도둑놈, 도둑님, Bad Thief Good Thief (hello here for the seohyun)
To watch:-
Ruler: Master of the Mask (yoo seung ho is quite cute and I love Kim So Hyun, she left a deep impression after her ghost role!)
Lookout (omg my Kim Key Bum in the drama!!)
The King Is In Love (YOONA!! and I guess Siwan haha)
Lucky Romance (Maybe, maybe not since many said it’s not as good as people expected it to be)
SBS
Have watched/Ongoing:-
푸른 바다의 전설 , The Legend of the Blue Sea (★★★★☆, 4/5) - A good classic rom-com drama! Jun Jihyun played her character well, and her chemistry with Lee Minho was unexpectedly well-matched despite the age gap. Overall, a classic fantasy romance drama, along with the cliche chaebol plot (the whole stepmother inheritance shenanigans).
Innocent Defendant (★★★★★ , 5/5) - is it possible that I give it a perfect score?? HAHA but really this is a superb drama!! Better than Goblin, Legend of the Blue Sea etc. The villain was good, very hateful which was the point. Jisung was great as the lead and his emotions were just so real! Yuri did so well, I’m such a proud SONE!! It’s such a legit and realistic drama! A bit sad for Kim Min Suk my favourite to die but I thought it was understandable! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Suspicious Partner (★★★★☆, 4.5/5) - This was a really well-balanced drama with its law/crime theme and the romance between all the different couples! Omg my heart dropped every single time they showed those “Ji Chang Wook hard at work in the eyes of Nam Ji Hyun’s character” scenes!! Like he is really handsome why did I not noticed that before?? Both the main leads have great chemistry and the main protagonist of the drama is seriously charming as well but we all know he’s a bad boy in the drama... Really good!! :) the casts had great chemistry with each other, even Mr Byun, Mr Bang and the Prosecutor Na, who turned out to be so funny nearing the end haha
To watch:-
While You Were Asleep [working title] (OMG Lee Jong Suk!! I still cannot revive from W!)
Remember (For Yoo Seung Ho and good ratings)
Our Gab Soon (Song Jae Rim x Kim So Eun coupling up AGAIN!! but it’s a family drama which is TOO MANY EPISODES)
tvN
Have watched/Ongoing:-
Goblin (★★★★☆, 4.5/5) - Super good! Very interesting abstract concepts and all the interactions of every single casts are spot on! Kim Goeun was great!! Even though it was my first time watching her shows, she was the center of everyone’s interaction and she did well with great chemistry, not only with Gong Yoo but with the rest too! Btw, Gong Yoo is a beautiful human being :)
To watch:-
Tomorrow With You
The Liar and His Lover (hello LEE HYUN WOO where have you been!! And Joy’s first drama! WEE)
Chicago Typewriter (YOO AH IN, finally he has returned! hehehe)
2017, Bride of the Water God (Erm hello what is this Nam Joo Hyuk and Shin Se Kyung combi!!!)
Signal (CRIME drama and good ratings so maybe!)
Cinderella & the Four Knights (quite interesting??)
Entourage (star-studded cast LEE KWANG SOO haha)
Cheese in the Trap (Maybe, maybe not since there were controversies about it and many said it was not good??)
jTBC
Have watched:-
Strong Woman Do Bong Soon (★★★★☆, 4.5/5) - I love love love this drama!! It’s a well-balanced drama, with actions, romance, cute scenes, crime-thriller and funny moments! :) I love the pairing of Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik!! And poor Ji Soo he needs a proper love line soon!! I can safely say one of the best dramas this year! :)
To watch:-
The Package (starring Jung Yonghwa helloooo BOICE here and it seems like a mystery/thriller drama, my fav!)
OCN
Have watched/Ongoing:-
38 Task Force (★★★☆☆, 3.5/5) - A not bad crime-related drama. It really opened up my eyes to corrupted government officials (which is kinda happening in reality) and how they work. The frauds were really planned out meticulously I was so confused by the last one and I didn’t know who to trust anymore hahaha but I was a bit disappointed that there was no love lines ): Now, off to a romance drama hahaha :)
To watch:-
Voice (HIGH RATINGS for a cable channel and everyone says good soooooo.... *grabbing my popcorn*)
My Secret Romance (Sung Hoon hotness and Song Ji Eun cuteness, hmm worth a watch?)
Neighbourhood Hero (Yuri my sone heart HAHA and CRIME)
WEBCAST/WEBDRAMA/Others
Have watched/Ongoing:-
Ruby Ruby Love (★★★★☆, 4/5) - THIS WAS SO CUTE! Seohyun (my bias!!) has really improved her acting skills and I’m a proud mama!! :’) A very simple rom com webcast drama!! I wanted more!!
Seven First Kisses (★★★★☆, 4/5) - the best thing about web dramas are that they’re very short and makes you wanting more after it ends. Sigh, this was such a cute and fun drama!! And because they’re so short, you won’t waste time watching them, even if they turned out to be bad haha BUT omg this, Lee Jong Suk was so cute in it!!! And Ji Chang Wook so hot!
To watch:- ...
Gogh’s Starry Night (hello how did i not know about this??! Kwon Yuri my sone heart! <3)

Our Gab Soon has finally ended last week! Yes, the 61 episode serial drama has finally ended and of course, I just finished watching it too last week (I know this review is a little late). This drama talks about various stories about different kinds of marriage, mainly circling about one family. Shin Gab Soon (Kim So Eun) is the youngest daughter of a family of 3. She has always wanted to become a teacher. She has been in a relationship with Heo Gab Dol (Song Jae Rim), who has been studying to be a public servant, for 10 years already. Both had been planning to get married but both their families are against it as both are still unemployed. The couple has had different misunderstandings which would lead them to break up but will still eventually make up. They have decided to go through common-law marriage but their families found out about it. Gab Soon has an older sister who has been married twice and an older brother who is in an arranged marriage. The story then goes to talk about how the characters cope with these kinds of marriages considering the people and other factors around them.
This was something I looked forward to when I heard the news that Kim So Eun was going to replace the actress who was originally set to play the role of Gab Soon. I’m a huge Kim So Eun fan ever since her Boys Over Flower days and I have seen most of her dramas. Having that said, I have followed her when she was on We Got Married with Song Jae Rim. They were the perfect couple! This production was a dream come true to all SoRim couple fans. I even have secretly wished that they would develop deeper feelings for each other by the end of this drama. Anyway, a strong friendship from this two would be a plus already. Back to the drama, you will definitely learn a lot of lessons mostly about family and love from this drama. The cast was great. The OST was really good too. If you can’t handle following long dramas like this, then this isn’t for you. Honestly, this was the longest drama I have watched but I enjoyed it. I’m giving this an 8.5/10!
