ᯓ★ Speaking of arguments, you do rarely argue, but when you do she's always patronizing because again she see's no wrong.

ᯓ★ If it gets to that point, she might throw in a threat or two. She wouldn't act on it, but it still scares you. You've seen her toned body and those huge destructive-looking gauntlets she has.

ᯓ★ She loves to go out with you, because she can show everyone that you're hers. Anyone who tries to take you away from her will be met with a punch in the face, and a few broken bones.

ᯓ★ Does NOT let you anywhere near the undercity, she loves her sister but damn she is crazy, what if you get kidnapped? She is not taking the risk. Doesn't matter if that's your home.

ᯓ★ "She'll kill you if she gets her hands on you, do you get that?" She'd comfort after sitting you down, safely, back at her apartment. "I don't know what I'd do without you'.'

ᯓ★ She tries to help you with your problems, but as soon as Vi draws it back to her she tells you to drop it. It's just a bit of necessary evil.

Part of what charms and compels me in Jeyne Poole's arc is her reaction to her predicament. All the female POVs in this book are dealing with a lot of gendered violence, and they all deal in different but dignified forms... Jeyne is not a POV character and she is absolutely not dignified lol. She cries and begs, she is utterly helpless. But unlike most women in this book who are utterly helpless, she survives. It's frustrating how fans refuse to celebrate that, simply because there is no glory in it.
