According to the Shafi'iyyah, the greatest night of the year is the birth of the best of creation ﷺ, which occured in this month of Rabī'. It is even greater than the night of Qadr since we know of it only through him ﷺ. The night of his birth ﷺ is also rare in comparison to Al-Qadr in that it occured but once, while Al-Qadr occurs every year; and what is rare is considered more valuable and more precious. — Shaykh Allie Khalfe
