Okay so a bunch of people are asking what Magnus said at the end of 3x15. He was literally in so much pain that he reverted back to Indonesian.

It translates to this: "My head. Please help me. It hurts."

Let me just go sob in a corner for all eternity.

This is such a beautiful scene

This conversation is not going the way Magnus was expecting. He was so clearly expecting an argument and then it got worse, thinking that Alec was about to start putting duty first again.

He’s so serious, you can see how Alec is bracing himself, cause last time he tried this it did not go so well. And it wasn’t that long ago that he first proposed that they move in together. But Magnus is worth the risk and Alec is confident enough in their relationship to know they can make it through this. 

Not even a second of hesitation. Magnus has had everything taken away from him at some point in the last few weeks, his position, his magic, his loft. And at the end of it all he knows that his home is not a building, its Alexander. He’s not going to turn that down a second time. 

He didn’t know how it was going to go. Alec was prepared for Magnus to repeat himself. But instead, all his dreams are coming true.

Ok so I've seen lost of people talking about the new sneak peak and how Magnus was laying in that bed:

but as far as I've seen, no one's given a good reason as to why he's laying like that.

I've seen "gays can't sit in chairs right and bis can't lay in beds right" but my hottake is he was looking for Alec

I mean,,,

He's like always on that side???

It very well could just be that bis can't lay in bed right but I'm just gonna keep thinking it's about Alec

OK So I know that we’re all freaking out but I have to get this out there. IN DEFENSE OF MY BOY UNDERHILL-

I genuinely don’t think he has a problem with Magnus. He’s happy that they’re together, he supports their relationship he says that he’s glad that they’ve worked out their differences. 

But that being said he is also the head of security. And the head of his institute just dumped on him, out of nowhere

“Hey Underhill, so I know that it’s against protocol and I didn’t give you a heads up but my boyfriend is moving in so I need you to take care of the logistics of all of that.”

Like no matter how much you like your boss if they drop something on you out of nowhere you’re going to be at least a little pissy. 

Not to mention how the other Shadowhunters are going to react. Alec is a little blinded by how happy he is that Magnus is there in that regard. Underhill sees the situation for what it is. 

A shit load of conflict waiting to happen.

So yeah, could it have been written better. Oh yeah totally.

But don’t go throwing Underhill under the bus (no pun intended) like you did the first time you met him.

I am still not done obsessing over today's episode but lemme just scream over these pictures for a hot second!!!

First 🌈 of 🌈 all 🌈 ~ Magnus and Alec looks so fucking good!!! Like they always do but ugh my baby boy Alec looks so soft in that grey sweater and Magnus Babe , lemme crush on you for a second real quick.

Second if either one of these scenes get deleted then we riot at dawn!!!!! Alec and Maia scene!!!! FUCKING FINALLY!!!!!!!!! Give me all the saltiness. Magnus and Underhill!!!!! This scene better make up for the callousness that was the missed opportunity of an interaction between them in 3x14.

Third I cannot wait for Alec and Izzy to put Heidi down to her place at the Institute before Maia snaps her neck or something of that sort. Seriously I cannot wait for this Heidi plot to end. We already have 5 movies about a war between vampires and werewolves.

Alec had to carefully ease a sleeping Magnus off of his chest and lay him back onto the other side of the bed so he could go get breakfast. But as soon as he stands up, Magnus rolls back over looking for Alec to cuddle and then just stays there, coz if he can’t have Alexander Cuddles™ then he’ll settle for an Alec warmed pillow that smells like his shadowhunter.

that ending scene was a trip like

alec saying that magnus was an outsider and couldn’t stay at the institute

alec then suggesting that they move in together outside of the institute

magnus agreeing only if he gets his own walk-in closet

magnus saying he loves alec and then coughs up blood

he continues coughing up blood

and then malec starts having a seizure

and next episode...

magnus’ body is rejecting lorenzo’s magic

alec saying that magnus is his world

alec also swears to “kill that son of a bitch” aka lorenzo

lorenzo actually having to use magic to push alec back

So I think I've fully figured out how Magnus and Alec are going to get engaged in the show. So for 3x15 we'll get the set up, in three parts. We have the sneak peek we already have of suggestions not rules. Then a clave member would mention those "suggestions" to Alec, and offhandly mentions how it would be okay if they were married. That's the only thing that sticks with Alec. Then the ending scene of the episode could be Alec going to Izzy about going ring shopping. We could pick up 3x16 with them ring shopping. Then when Magnus' body starts rejecting the magic, we can get a scene paralleling parabatai lost, where instead of Magnus, it's Alec going "please come back to me, come back to me so I can marry you," and once Magnus recovers, Alec proposes to him.
