No, I think Asami is pretty scar-free. But as she gets older and into more battles, I'm sure she'll acquire a few. The only way she'd ever be embarrassed by a scar is if it damaged her pristine face or made her breast/torso area look marred. She is sweet, but she is also very prideful about her looks, not going to lie. She'd be devastated if she got anything that made her feel ugly, and she'd be ashamed to show her lover her body after that. She'd need a lot of support and coaxing to go back to normal.

whenever they’re living in the cabin, they develop a sort of domestic routine and always do things together. cooking, fishing, cleaning etc. one some level it’s because he needs to be with her at all times to keep an eye out, but it’s also from genuinely wanting to be around each other. emil is used to clients getting pretty sick of having to be stuck with a guard 24/7. but it’s different with them and it feels like their own little world. even when he tries to do things for her on his own, she still tends to want to help out or at least just be nearby to talk to him while he works. his instinct is to take care of her, but she very clearly takes just as much care of him too and even if he gets a little frustrated by her stubbornness he actually loves it.

emil was very cautious and careful with her at first. he was overly gentle and treated her body like it was glass or something. he has a tendency to treat her more delicately than is necessary, both in the bedroom and outside of it. having her on top made him relax a little and he tends to prefer having her ride him, not just because it helps him feel reassured that she can have as much or as little control as she needs but also because he just likes looking up at her. there are times he still loves being on top though and having his body envelope hers. he likes the way it makes him feel like she’s safe.

emil gets up early to exercise and usually just leaves her to sleep, but sometimes he wakes her up or she gets up on her own. when that happens he makes them tea first and watches the sunrise with her. there are times she just curls up with a blanket and tea and watches him do his thing. which can also lead to spicy things. when they’re in the cabin they go hiking together a lot and sometimes he has her ride on his shoulders. he says it’s because it’s a good work out but really he just thinks it’s cute.

in the beginning there was a power dynamic there because he’s working for her family, so overall his instinct is to give in to her wishes unless they expressly went against her father’s orders. but as their relationship developed there was more room for him to speak up if he disagreed with something, and also being together meant things would come up that didn’t have to do with life and death at all. emil is usually flexible and willing to compromise. they have moments where they get frustrated because they come from such different worlds and have different ways of approaching things. but they always come together to try and understand how they other feels and find a way forward. rapunzel is a problem solver and emil is rather patient and compromising, so they tend to be good at figuring things out together.

emil always liked rapunzel. the first day he worked for her he quickly saw she was such a genuine, sincere person with a good heart. and it made him like her a lot and feel comfortable more quickly. but, realizing everything she had gone through. understanding she had a lot more pain, trauma, and anger even, beneath the surface made him appreciate who she was more. it made her relatable and approachable to realize she was just as human as anyone else. that she’d suffered a great deal and was still such a kind person who was willing to give second chances and see the best in everyone. that’s what made him love her. he didn’t realize hew as in love until they were in hiding. the first thing that made him start to realize was when she saw his scars. her gentleness and the way she touched him made him start to understand just how much he wanted her to keep looking at him, how much he wished he could just hold her. it was a slow thing for him, noticing bit by bit just how much she had his heart in her hands. by the time she asked to kiss him he was beyond head over heels for his princess.

he has never really wanted to bring up her past. it was a dark, horrible thing she went through growing up and he doesn’t ever want to cast a shadow by speaking of it. but a part of him has always wanted to tell her how beautiful and strong her kindness is in retrospect to what she endured. he admires her. there is so much about gothel’s treatment of her that emil understand a little too well. being used and manipulated like that is something they’ve both experienced and a part of him has always wanted to talk about it. i think a part of him wants to tell her all the things she needs to hear, the same things he needs to hear too: that she's valuable outside of who or what she is or what she can do for everyone else.

She does. Often. It seems like based on her flirting style and way she mews for the boys, that she would be a certified pillow princess, but no.
