Are the ArchieSonic comics actually an 80's/90's syndicated cartoon? Episode 41: Recap origin story in yet another clip show
Welcome back to my look at the ArchieSonic comic series, and how it shared a lot of the same story tropes as a typical ā80s or ā90s syndicated cartoon! Iām finally done with my in-depth analysis of the stories I felt were the most unique to ArchieSonic, so now itās time to relax a little and move on to our next episode:Ā
Episode 41: Recap origin story in yet another clip showĀ
There were a couple of times they trotted out the origin lore again, the most clip-show-y one obviously being when Sonic tried out Dr. Robotnikās past-showing headset in Sonic #57.
"Zowie," indeed. :P But I already looked at that one for the first clip show episode, so letās have a look at some other instances. I also wonāt bother dredging up Sonic Genesis and Genesis of a Hero again, as Iāve already covered them in other episodes. So what else was there?
Well, there were the two Sonic Kids specials. They showed us some stories set during Sonic and the other heroesā childhoods, but Iām going to focus on those a little more in an upcoming episode. Also, they werenāt presented as clip shows or flashbacks, so letās take a look at some stories that did.Ā
Sonic #43 is the issue that immediately springs to mind for this one, as it shows us Robotnikās coup in flashbacks spaced throughout the story (drawn by the legendary Patrick Spaziante!).
Very clip show-y. This issue retcons the original origin story we saw back in #0 of the original Sonic mini series, establishing Robotnikās takeover to have happened very similarly to in the SatAM cartoon, with Robotnik having convinced the King to dismantle the military, then taking control and exiling him to an alternate zone.Ā
In the post-reboot years of the comic, we got to see the new origin stories of the Freedom Fighters in a series called Sonic Comic Origins.
Appearing in Free Comic Book Day specials and as new content in the reprint Digests, Sonic Comic Origins gave us the new backstories for Sally, Rotor, Antoine, Bunnie, and Nicole, shown as flashbacks while the characters were fighting enemies from Sonic Spinball in a holographic training simulator.
Snively and new character Razor the Shark later also got the Sonic Comic Origins treatment.
I particularly enjoyed Snivelyās story, as it slotted him into the place of EggRobo during the events of Sonic 3 & Knuckles.
Silverās first appearance in the post-reboot era also had the Sonic Comic Origins label slapped on it for some reason, even though it was more of a setup for the second Mega Man crossover.
Thatās it from me for today. Did I miss any flashback or clip show stories that retold the origin story in ArchieSonic? Remind me in the comments! Next time Iāll be checking out episode 42: āHaunted houseā! See you then!

Setup razor headset
The stand allows the headphones to be as natural as possible when you set them down to allow the headphones in a more natural state. If you want to give more contact on the stand to your headphone or if you donāt like to keep the heavier headphones for a longer time to avoid indentation then AmoVee Acrylic is the best option to go for. Without a doubt, this is the headset stand to choose if you want the best of the best. The aluminum is black and sleek, and the entire stand is accentuated with RGB lighting that can be customized via CORSAIRās iCUE software. The CORSAIR ST100 RGB is also a home run in the looks category, too. A feature completely unique to this stand is the audio port on the side, which allows you to channel your headset audio through the stand and turn it into crisp and immersive 7.1 surround sound. In addition, there are two USB ports on the stand that allow you to charge your headset or other peripherals, such as your cell phone or your wireless keyboard. Itās got a sturdy aluminum construction with a stable rubber base, which means that you wonāt have to worry about it getting damaged or toppling over. The CORSAIR ST100 RGB is the cream of the crop when it comes to headset stands. Whatever your preference is, dive into the list below to discover some of the best. Some will simply act as fancy holders for your headset, but many now act as base stations, too, coming fitted with RGB lights or USB ports to let you charge the headset while it stands.
But if you donāt have the knowledge then have a look at the key features given below to give your headphones a respectable place. If you have the knowledge about the qualities that a headphone holder must have or the qualities that give an awesome placement to your headphones on your computer table then the stuff becomes easy for you. How about having the best gaming headset stands that can match your setup and also provide a comfortable resting place for headphones?Ä«efore heading to the list of headphone stands you must be aware of the qualities that a nice stand must have in it. Premium headsets can cost more than a couple of hundred dollars, and letting them rest anywhere on the desk is not advisable. For a sound purpose, nothing can beat the performance of gaming headsets. But all of this gadgets will not entertain without sound. We have already made a detailed post on gaming pc, gaming keyboards, and gaming consoles.

Streamer Spotlight: @purrannaā
Anna, known to her community as PurAnna, is a full-time content creator on Watch Mixer. Before streaming, Anna went to college and graduated with majors in Religion and Psychology. She also played for her college soccer and lacrosse teams and loved the feeling of being on a team and pushing her limits. Read on!
What has been a memorable streaming moment for you?
When I hit 100,000 followers! To me, interacting with my community, making connections, and forming a sanctuary for people in my stream, no matter what is going on for them in their lives, is the most important thing. Thatās what I have worked so hard to build, so when I hit 100,000 followers, it didnāt feel like I was hitting that milestone alone, it felt like we all were. It was a perfect reflection of how my community and I are in this together. Weāve overcome so much adversity in the form of tech problems, trolls, toxicity from other streamers, etc. This continued support Iāve received has allowed me to thrive and focus on doing what I feel destined to do.Ā
What does your current setup up look like?
My current setup is very mismatched but also incredibly badass. I intend to make some upgrades and am open to partnering with some companies if they want to try and woo me LOL (no but seriously). Anyway, I have a two-monitor setup of 27 inch curved Samsungs from Walmart that were very reasonably priced. My keyboard and mouse are the Rose Quartz edition from RazorāI absolutely LOVE themāand I love my Astro A40 headset, I could not be happier with the comfort level and sound quality that they give me. I also have a Go XLR audio mixer and Shure 7MB microphone. Both are fantastic. Last but not least, I have my Xbox One X, my Elite Series 2 controller, and my sexy Corsair Vengeance PC that I affectionally call Wall-E.
How do you see gender disparity happening in the gaming industry? How can we change the male-dominated narrative?
This is a tough one. I donāt talk too often about this because it is a big topic to dive into, but it is extremely needed. While it might be easier for girl gamers to get views, itās harder for us to get respect. The types of trolls and intense sexual harassment, as well as condescending, disrespectful comments we receive, is just something you could never fully understand unless you are a female streamer. It is very trendy to shame female streamers for being āE-girlsā no matter what they are wearing, etc., and I think changing the narrative has to come from us female streamers. I was raised to appreciate every part of myselfāand that extends far past my body. I think developing talents and focusing on your character is a better message to send to the younger generation. I push hard in my stream for respect for all streamers, females included, and I hope that other female streamers do the same.
Who are other streamers that inspire you?
In no specific order; King Gothalian, KingBaileyBomb, and Ninja.
How do you balance mental health and the pressures of streaming?
This is a fantastic question. I have severe anxiety that I have been dealing with ever since a traumatic life eventāwhich was actually, in many ways, the main reason that I started streaming. It was my escape, my way to connect with people and be social while still feeling safe in the comfort of my own home. I overcome my mental health struggles by reminding myself that streaming every day, smiling, and creating positive vibes, can help someone else with their struggles and potentially make their day.
I think taking time to focus on yourself and self-care is also important. When youāre grinding the stream, itās easy to get out of healthy habits mentally and physically. However, itās important to remind ourselves that a balance of self-care and work dedication is necessary, as it all intertwines.
If you could live in any video game world, where would it be?
There are so many awesome gaming worlds! My first thought, though, is actually Assassinās Creed since Iād be able to hop in the animus and go to different historical periods. That would be incredible! Iāve also always secretly wanted to be an assassin, soā¦thereās that too, haha!
Thanks, Anna! You can check out her streams here or follow her right here on Tumblr!

An eye-opening 50 percent off, the Anker Eufy RoboVac 35C Wi-Fi Connected Robot Vacuumās BoostIQ technology helps navigate your homeās surfaces, including hardwood floors to rugs and beyond, with smooth transitions. And while it never loses suction, when it senses the need for extra oomph ā like when crumbs are overtaking the kitchen floor or pet hair is embedded in the rug ā itāll amp up its power to get the job done.
āAlbuquerque dust is a pernicious beast. I also have two dogs and a slew of resident dust bunnies, so this is a big help,ā shared a Walmart shopper. āIt gets the dog hair and dust up easily ā slightly appalled at how much dust came up after a regular broom sweeping. The edging function works great ā clears out stuff from the bottom of the walls with ease. I have concrete floors and it scoots over it fine; has gotten itself successfully untangled from under the kitchen tableā¦I talk to it like one of the dogs: āOh, donāt forget that speck in the hall.ā āGood job.ā At least I havenāt named it (yet).ā
The Eufy RoboVac 35C is super slim, so itās a ninja when it comes to getting into every crevice and corner ā and it has an infrared sensor for identifying things in its way, like stairs.

The Difference Between Normal and Best 240Hz monitor for Gaming
Gaming is all about having fun. Either by solving puzzles, winning quests in Zelda a, Skyrim and withcer and beating bosses in games such as souls series that is quite satisfying and for this purpose, you have a simple monitor that can give you enough brightness and contrast that you may feel satisfied but have you ever played on a Best 240Hz monitor? Though it isnāt recommended to have gaming peripherals that are just fancy and pricey such as gaming keyboard, headsets but talk about the best gaming monitor under 300 then you are going to spend on something that matters a lot for a smoother gaming experience. Here are the differences between a normal and a gaming monitor.
Higher Refresh Rate
Unlike regular monitors, the gaming monitors offer a higher refresh rate and even higher response time to compare with the regular monitors. This is the major reason that games seem to be running smoother when they are played on gaming monitors. This is why professional gamer will always look for a gaming monitor with a high refresh rate just check any gaming Monitor Buying Guide 2020 for better information.
Most Responsive Edge
Along with the high refresh rate, Best 240Hz monitor for gaming also have a better response or even the faster response rate. This gives the edge to professional games when they are playing games that require faster input such as COD and Battlefield. They should be able to react according to the enemyās attack can determine that if one will be able to win or lose the match. Casual gamer or players with games like resident evil or any RPG cannot tell the difference between the 90Hz and 120Hz.
Professional Work
If you think that gaming monitors are just for gamer then think again. Gaming monitors, because of the best resolution and display technology of the Best gaming monitor under 300, are great for graphic content creators such as rendering and character designers as they can see their characters in the highest possible resolution and this gives them an edge of making their art and video editing task even better than they used to.
Media Consumption
If you donāt want a Best 240Hz monitor because of budget straining then you can opt for the Best gaming monitor under 300 even just for the media content watching such as watching Netflix or Amazon Prime. In your regular monitor, you may not find the image quality as good as you can find it on the gaming monitor. Though a person with no technical knowledge cannot discriminate between them but for a gamer, it matters a lot.
Aesthetics
Though it is a bit subjective gaming monitors are undoubtedly even at a low price the gaming monitors look stunning. Some have the smallest bezels and some have the color combos such as green and black or black with green from a razor that can enhance the aesthetic of any gaming setup.
Having gaming monitors can enhance your gaming experience even if you are a casual gamer. You can game in style and save your eyes from straining and just game like you are supposed to.

9 Best Gaming Accessories in 2020
If you love video games but are bored with your current setup. There are tons of great gamer gadgets that can energize your experience. I have some list of best gaming accessories. These are some best gaming accessories available right now. So now I am going to share them with you. First up we have the. Razer Blade 15:
Previously razor has had some bad reputation in cooling. What could you expect it satin and light gaming laptop but now Razer has completely changed up the cooling designs and came up with the new Razer. The blade laptop has the 15 inch model with the RTX 2060 16 GB of RAM and I78758 processor. This laptop has made working and gaming a whole lot easier. Games run smoothly with no FPS drops and you can game most games on ultra and 1080p 60fps. The trackpad is amazing and not something you would expect out of a Windows laptop and the keyboard is tactile and great to game with. Although sometimes the part where you rest your wrist can get warmer than you want. But the laptop is really light and carrying it around is easier. Audio Technica G1WL wireless gaming headset:
The headphones are built around a pair of 45mm drivers. The closed-back ear cups offer a great amount of low-end even at lower volumes. The mids are crispy and great for listening to vocals and game soundtracks. The highs are also no joke to things like the cymbal hitting in songs and footsteps and games weren't drowned out by the bass. It's great for almost any game whether it be casual or competitive. You also have to surround sound so you can pinpoint the locations of gunshots or footsteps in FPS games. And this gives you a very distinct advantage in competitive gaming. When it comes to the microphone the g1w L is amazing. The mic noise cancellation is set just right to minimize keyboard clicks without muffling your voice. The mic is also entirely detachable so it won't get in the way when you're casually gaming or listening to music. Overall this wireless headset is great for mobile gaming and you do its lightweight nature it's very portable. Moto speed CK 80 mechanical keyboard:
It has become a great looking keyboard. It is surrounded by gray and black caps and LED lights around a very sharp design. The LED lights make it look great and the gray accents make its keyboard unique. It's got a dial on the side and a key rollover which makes things much easier and the dial can change volume and brightness. The keyboard got autumn silver switches which provide amazing tactile feedback with lots of travel for precise input. And they were amazing to type in-game with. The gaming was amazing with the help of this keyboard that the actions were precise and there is no input interval. The RGB lights and gray color provide for a really nice looking keyboard that is somewhat heady. Overall for gaming, this is one of the good looking and working keyboards you can buy. But if you don't like mechanical keyboards or if it's too loud for use in your office then another option you can have is Corsair K57:
This is another great choice the belt needless to say it's top-notch. The RGB button is just right and the keys get great feedback even though they aren't mechanical There are dedicated media buttons that make changing volumes a lot easier and the overall typing experience is pretty good. It even has a wrist rest which does a lot to improve ergonomics and comfort. The keyboard is Wireless so carrying it around is easy and you can game without worrying about the wires dangling. Battery life is also very good so you don't need to charge it regularly. This is a great keyboard for those who love non-mechanical keyboards. This is a great keyboard for those who love non-mechanical keyboards. Logitech G502 light speed:
What better must to get than the g502 Light speed Wireless. This mouse is everything and better. First of all, it is wireless and has no difference in lag. Secondly, it can also charge wirelessly during gaming so you don't even have to plug in to charge. And third, it's lighter than its predecessor, which makes it even better. But if you want something that costs half the price but still performs well, then Corsair Iron Claw is your choice. It's got great tracking and really great response time. It has RGB and the mouse looks stylish. Battery life is quite good and it can easily last you five to six days. The clicks feel good and respond with no delay plus it's got seven extra buttons that are handy and remapping them is also pretty easy. So for the price it's, it's a great wireless mouse and you definitely get the price you paid. For storing games and faster loading times I have for you The SanDisk 1tb SSD:
This SSD has been very helpful for not only games but also transferring all those large video footage. It's got an extremely fast read and writes speed of 550 and 500 MPS respectively. It has a ruggedized build which makes it shockproof and besides has ip55 water and dust protection. All in all, this has been a great help as if you don't need to have games on your laptop every time which saves a lot of storage. The Gazeon mouse pad: For the mouse pad, you may choose gaze on because of two reasons. First of all, it is solid so it can be bent this is specifically useful if you're gaming on unusual surfaces. And second, because it has wireless charging, you can just set up your phone and charge it without the hassle of wires. Havit Laptop cooler:
Now laptops do tend to get hot we do not supply with good airflow. So you will probably have this habit cooler to further cool the laptop and elevate it. So that the laptop gets sufficient airflow the Havit cooler can easily decrease the temperatures by 5 to 10 degrees which is great as far as cooling can go. And it also shines blue which is a nice touch. The Razer backpack: Now to carry all this you've got to need a pretty good bag and the one is the razor backpack. First of all the bag is big it can easily fit the keyboard mouse pad Mouse laptop charger and headphones and still have some room to spare. The bag is made out of excellent fabric and waterproof as well. Therefore your precious electronics don't get damaged. It also has a separate laptop compartment with sufficient padding. Thatās why it's well protected it's also got some small pouches and first to hold small things and spacious mid-zipper storage to keep all your stuff. For mobile gaming, this bag will carry all you require. Read the full article

Having Fun and VR Gaming with the Razor IMU
A few years back, just after I first started at SparkFun, Jim released the SparkFun 9DoF Razor IMU M0. Like most products, this wonderful board had its own little quirks, but it got me digging into the example firmware and datasheet for the IMU. If you have never played around or used an IMU before, you should check out this According to Pete video on IMUs, and some extra research online never hurts. Since the release of the SparkFun 9DoF Razor, I have found some really cool applications for the board. I will go over my recent project and a commonly requested task from when I was in technical support.
Serial Output over TX pin and Bluetooth
These are some of the more commonly requested items for this board from technical support. Since the two can be tied together, I decided to provide an example that applies to both.
Serial Output over TX pin
If you haven't done so already, you should start with the 9DoF Razor IMU M0 Hookup Guide. Specifically, the comment in the hookup guide where my coworker Bobby has already detailed the changes needed to output serial data over the TX pin. Otherwise, you should to look over the example firmware and configuration file, and you will notice the changes that need to be made. I have also provided a modified code below for you to download. The baudrate for the serial output is set to 115200bps; this can be changed, but I am using it for the Bluetooth module in the next section.
Download Modified Example Firmware Code
Adding Bluetooth
To add Bluetooth capability to the SparkFun 9DoF Razor IMU, I am using the BlueSMiRF Silver, a few jumper cables and the Bluetooth USB Module Mini on my PC. Again, if you haven't done so already, you should start with the Using the BlueSMiRF hookup guide. (*I used the BlueSMiRF because we had one lying around, but all modules listed in the BlueSMiRF hookup guide are essentially the same except for the pin layout and range.)
Troubleshooting Tip: Not all computers will be compatible with the BlueSMiRF modules. Mac computers can have issues with them due to the licensing required by Apple for Bluetooth devices.
With the modified code linked above, this is how I setup the hardware connections. There is no need to modify the code, because the default baudrate of the Bluetooth module is the 115200bps already. Additionally, the default password for pairing the Bluetooth module is already known to be 1234.
Hardware pin connections between the BlueSMiRF Silver and the SparkFun 9DoF Razor IMU.
Once you have paired your Bluetooth module to your computer and opened a serial terminal for the COM port of that connection, you should see a green light on the Bluetooth module. Double check that the baudrate is set to 115200bps and you should see the output from the SparkFun 9DoF Razor IMU.
Starting on a VR Headset
If you've been part of the recent first-person shooter gaming craze, then you are already familiar with the titles PUBG or Fortnite. What if I told you there was a program that allowed you to VNC to your desktop with minimal lag... and what if that program also allowed you to connect from a Raspberry Pi?
Well, Parsec, a gaming streaming company that came onto the scene a few years ago, has done just that. How does this all work? Well, the short version is that Parsec takes advantage of UDP to reduce lag or traffic needed to verify each frame in a TCP-based connection. From a gaming perspective, each frame marks only a split second on your screen ā who cares if it isn't perfect, you will have a new frame in a few milliseconds anyways.
That's right... I have been playing Fortnite remotely using a Raspberry Pi! Well, at least when I don't want to drag my desktop with me. There are a few caveats to this setup: Parsec does have minimum requirements to run, the graphics settings in the game need to be on low, and the frame rates drop to about 30 fps on the Raspberry Pi. However, the game is still playable and if you are up to tweaking the settings, you can get slightly better graphic renderings and frame counts.
Parsec's Network Requirements
Hardware Requirements For Hosting A Gaming Session On Parsec
Hardware Requirements For Connecting To Another Computer With Parsec
You can also use Parsec for other things like streaming your XBox games to your PC and over to a Raspberry Pi!!!
Mic Drop!
How does this all tie into a VR headset? Well, if you are familiar with the mouse library in Arduino, then you can start to see the light at the end of the tunnel. If you aren't familiar with this library, you can the find details on the Arduino website. However, the quick and fast detail is that the SAMD21 microcontroller on the SparkFun 9DoF Razor IMU M0 can be used to emulate a mouse. Together with the IMU, this means that you can take rotational movements from your head to look around in the game.
Now this is just part of the interface you need to control your character, but it does demonstrate that it can be done with hobbyist electronics. Again, you will want to start with the example firmware code, the 9DoF Razor IMU M0 Hookup Guide and the mouse library. Unfortunately, this is about as far as I have taken this project but if you have anything you'd like to add, please let me know in the comments below; I have also made my code available below for you to continue without me. It is a modified version of Jim's original example firmware adapted to work with the mouse library.
Download Mouse Example Code
I do have a few things to add:
I have only gotten Parsec to run on larger screens. I have had issues trying to run Parsec on smaller 3.5" or 5" screens with lower resolutions. However, I haven't really dug into the issue or reached out to Parsec for help yet.
You do need to manually adjust the mouse sensitivity in the Arduino code. I thought of using a potentiometer to possibly dial that in without constant reprogramming.
The code takes movements from the gyroscope to create mouse movements. I envisioned using the Euler angles to get more accurate readings without having to home the mouse position, but I would need to dig into how to define an exact mouse position on the screen and adjust for scaling.
Once programmed, the SparkFun 9DoF Razor IMU will move to its secondary COM port and will be unavailable for programming. To reprogram the board, you need to force it into the bootloader mode by holding the SCL pin LOW on start up. Then, you can upload new code to it using the available COM port.
To setup Parsec on your Raspberry Pi head over to their web page, or you can follow their instructional Youtube video:
youtube
They also have setup guides online:
Setting Up on Raspberry Pi (Raspbian)
Setting Up Raspberry Pi on Non Debian-based Distros
Once you have Parsec running on your Raspberry Pi and your SparkFun 9DoF Razor IMU coded, all you need to do is plug your Razor into the Pi with a USB cable. You should start seeing the Razor act as a mouse once it is recognized as a device. I usually turn off the Razor until I am logged on to the host computer and up and running on the game. Have fun and enjoy!

WTW Chapter 7 - Monkey Pen
The entire meeting had turned their eyes to Dalton, whose interest in addressing an army of combat athletes was minimal, to say the least. He hadn't met with everyone as per Dr. Richmond's instructions and, as a result, was understandably worried that this invitation to speak would out his failure. His head started swarming with potential excuses that-
"What ya waitin' for? Git on over here and say yer peace. Its gettin' late. Let's go!"
Shit.
So with a deep breath, Dalton trekked up to the boss and turned to face the audience. He didn't have anything to say and he sure as hell wasn't much for public speaking, so he was going to have to make this generic and short.
"Um... Hello everybody. As mentioned, I'm Dalton and I'm very excited to be here. Also, I'm looking forward to be, uh- Ā to getting to know all of you much better in the coming weeks." Dalton spotted Jestica cheerfully waving at him from the front row. He smirked in recognition before continuing. "If anyone has anything they want to talk about- uh, to talk to me about, I'm always willing to listen as I think it's important to keep communication open and, uh... Ā clear." He scanned the audience as he spoke, eventually locking eyes with the ceaselessly intimidating Carolina Queen. He averted his gaze, relinquishing power as she quietly scoffed at his insecurity. "Um, I- I know it's going to be a great season here at WTW, so uh... let's stay safe and put on a great show tonight!" The WTW roster feigned satisfaction as crumbs of applause dismissively mocked his rhetoric. After a brief moment, Dr. Richmond cleared his throat before again taking center stage.
"Short and pointless," he began. "I like it!" Dalton quietly shuffled off to the side as Monterey ran through some additional pre-show notes. Meanwhile out in the arena, people had begun to fill the seats, chattering in anticipation of the show. Thousands of marching fans cultivated a continuous rumble from just beyond the entrance area as Dalton peeked down at the Riddler on his wrist once more. 7:26 pm and Dr. Richmond was just wrapping up. "Alright then. That'll do it. First show of the season, so y'all don't fuck it up now, ya hear?"
The muttering crowd of wrestlers dispersed as Dr. Richmond swooped in behind Dalton, grabbing his shoulder. "Come on, my boy. We got a lot to go through tonight and we're just gettin' started."
The boss guided him over to a couple of rolling chairs parked in front of a desk with an assortment of multimedia equipment. The surrounding setup was jam-packed with polo shirt-clad production staff, each of them plugging away at their respective stations with razor focus. While Dalton was baffled by the intricacies of live television production, the backstage routine seemed exceedingly mundane to everyone else. This was the production booth.
"Have a seat and put those headphones on," Dr. Richmond commanded as Dalton settled into one of the chairs. "Now this here's our command center. We call it the Monkey Pen."
"The... Monkey Pen?" Dalton inquired.
"Yes. This here's where we keep the tech monkeys..." Monterey motioned to the surrounding production staff, "...the yes monkeys..." next pointing at his entourage who were now huddled against a back wall, "...and the shit-flingin' dumb-ass monkeys." He emphasized his words by nodding toward some wrestlers hanging out by the entrance curtain, awaiting their turn in the ring later.
"Monkey pen. Got it." Dalton pulled out his phone and started taking notes, attempting to catch each syllable falling off of Dr. Richmond's rapid southern drawl as the old man continued.
"During the live show, you'll spend the majority of your time right here. This is your new home, no matter what state we're in."
"Got it."
"You'll be able to talk with the commentary team through yer headset there."
"Talk to the... commentary team? About what?" Dalton suddenly got an awful feeling brewing in the pit of his stomach.
"Yer bookin' decisions, Kid. Whatever matches you've scheduled for the night need to be fed to the team during the show."
"Oh yeah, of course. I knew that." Technically Dalton hadn't lied; he did know that, but in the mess of happenings through the day, he'd completely forgotten. Shit. Dr. Richmond then tapped on one of the monitors in front of them. The image on the screen was a live feed to the desk at ring-side where the commentary team were just sitting down.
"So?"
"So...?"
"What's our first match now, Cowboy? You put the show together, didn't ya?" Monterey came off marginally confused and potentially irritated. Dalton hadn't had the time to even meet the roster, not to mention book any matches. Shit! The whole night was on the verge of falling apart because Dalton's white lies had started snowballing into a white avalanche that was about to bury him. The stress of the situation made it harder still to even formulate a proper excuse. The clock was ticking, Dr. Richmond was getting impatient, and almost zero percent of what Dalton had promised was coming to fruition. First day, the show hadn't even begun, and Dalton's WTW career was already over.
Shit!
Mother-fucking shit!

Get the original full length PDF containing images HERE provided at no cost. Reddit is not allowing me to insert pics in this post and I am only allowed to post less than half of the original text. So if this information looks useful to you, I highly encourage you to download the full PDF.PreambleNote: This was originally a Quora.com answer but the modbots deleted it. Guess AI and interpreting policies donāt go hand-in-hand after all? So bear in mind that I refer to other answers on this thread which can be found here: https://www.quora.com/How-can-I-start-my-own-T-shirt-business/answer/Albie-Kross I have made updates to my original answer so that it makes more sense when I post it on other platforms. Where I remembered to, I formatted the updates in red.I am going to be rather blunt here - the information given on this thread ranges from general | vague | theoretical to false to outright dangerous financial suicide. Yes, there is some links and references that will definitely help but I have yet to see an answer that explains step-by-step on how to do this. After all, who would you rather want to listen to - someone who Googled their info, someone who is marketing their printing services or someone who has his own online shop and social presence? Before I get to the technical info, let me first dispel some incorrect and/or misleading information and then I will get to a brief theoretical introduction. The bulk of this post, however, will be technical information to show you exactly what you need to do to set a business like this up.Disclaimer 1: There is no way that I can fit all the information necessary in this answer. It is enough to fill an entire book. Perhaps I should do a video on it though? Let me know in the comments if there is a need for this. I am definitely not going to spend hours and hours on producing a video tutorial if people donāt indicate beforehand that they would like to see something like that.Disclaimer 2: I will be using my own business as an example. So there will be links and screenshots to my own stuff. Do I hope that this article will drive some traffic? Of course I do. But I believe that the value I will be providing will be so awesome that this is not seen as spam, as per Quoraās spam policy.Dispelling the MythsMyth 1: Setting up an online tshirt shop is quick and easy.Excuse me while I try to recover from laughing. To put this in perspective, I am a web developer and graphic designer. And I can tell you that to set up a PROPER online presence is neither easy nor quick. You are either lucky or really, REALLY good of you start seeing sales within the first two months. I would wager that most online businesses of this nature never see any income.Myth 2: You need to borrow money from friends and family and buy stock and printing equipment.Yes, do this if you are completely off your rocker and you want to make life-long enemies of your friends and family. You need to start off by spending as little as possible. Remember, the odds are against you and you likely to fail for quite some time before you hopefully get it right. You canāt afford to have debt during the start-up stage! These are your costs:Computer with broadband Internet access. This is kinda non-negotiable. Yes, you can get away with a cheapie laptop but definitely upgrade your PC as soon as you can afford it. This is the tool that you are going to be using for up to 30 hours per day especially during the startup phase so you canāt afford to be frustrated and hindered in your production. At least if the business fails you will still be able to use the PC, it wonāt be a very expensive doorstop like useless printing equipment. This is my hardware setup:Core i5 processor - really the bare minimum in processing power as graphic design and especially video production takes up lots and lots of processing juice.GTX 660 graphics card (a bit old in the tooth but gets the job done)16GB RAM - As with the processor, you really need plenty of RAM for high-quality design work.10TB Hard drive storage - you can get away with less but I am admittedly a bit of a hoarder.CMStorm mechanical keyboard - go as clicky as you can get. You can thank me later. You will be spending lots and lots of time typing,Razor Naga mouse - this one was a bit of a disappointment. Get a mouse that is ergonomically superior. Carpal tunnel syndrome is real and is a bitch.49ā³ + 27ā³ dual monitors - You need screen real estate and plenty of it for proper design work. The cool thing is that 4k TVās have now become much cheaper and can be effectively used as PC monitors. Dual monitor setup is HIGHLY recommended.Marantz 4140 hifi with Dyna speakers ā ok you are not likely to be fortunate enough to get your paws on a system like this but good sound is a must. You will want to do audio stuff like video and you need to be able to hear properly. And it helps to keep you putting in 30 hour days if you listen to good music. I recommend EBM like Funker Vogt to keep you going. Get a good headset at the very least.Sound recording setup - I have a variety of mics, mixers etc. Getting your voice to sound right in recordings is VERY difficult.Canon DSLR & Gitup Git2 actioncam - Your cellphone camera is probably not going to cut it for video productions. The Gitup is pretty cool quality at half the price of the comparable GoPro model.Software:Start off by using Gimp for image editing, it is free. It can be downloaded here: GIMP You can also download Adobe CS2 for free here: Get a Free Photoshop Download Legally from Adobe (Not a Torrent) | PCsteps.comLater on you will want to purchase a more recent version of Adobeās products. You will primarily use Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and Audition. You will need to watch YouTube tutorials on how to use these applications, I am not going to teach you that in this answer.Nuance Dragon dictation software is a nice-to-have that you might want to check out. You can probably churn out words faster with your mouth than with your fingers. And you are going to be churning out lots and lots of words.Website hostingMy hosting is around $15 per year at Host4Africa.com GET MORE FOR LESS!, main page, low cost Web Hosting for South Africa and the world. but they do have some stuff that you need to be able to work around e.g. if you are developing your website locally on DesktopServer and then you try to migrate to the live host you will run into server timeouts. You need to contact them with specific instructions on how to temporarily adjust their server-side settings in order for this to work. If you need details on these instructions you can send me a query at https://krossbait.com/contact/ and I will send you the instructions. I donāt think it is a good idea to post it publicly here.BTW - I highly recommend this approach where you first develop locally and then migrate. You could be stuck for months on development and then you are paying for hosting that you donāt need. I lost 10 months on my one site due to getting busy with other projects. What a waste!Get Desktopserver here : DesktopServer - Create locally installed WordPress Websites ā¢ ServerPress, LLC. and install it on your PC, it is free. Use this plugin to migrate the website to the live server: All-in-One WP MigrationSo now it is settled, you need three things to start - PC, Internet access, Web hosting.Myth 3: Once your store is set up the money start rolling inThe truth is that the Interwebs doesnāt even know that you exist. You wonāt be found in the search engines. Nobody will find you online, even if they searched for your store name.Myth 4: Shopify is your best option (as recommended by many answers on this thread)I donāt have anything per se against Shopify. For all I know it is a wonderful platform. But it has a monthly subscription fee. That means it is not a viable option in my opinion. If Shopifyās business model was similar to MailChipās model where they only start charging you when your business has reached a certain level my opinion would have been different.Fixed expense with an uncertain income? No way baby. I bumped my head hard enough previously with Aweber.Myth 5: Step 1 - Research your market / know your market / find the right opportunityNonsense. I might know that the robotics market is a vastly untapped market that screams for more engineers. Can I action any ideas there? Highly unlikely if not impossible. The first step is to make a shortlist of things that YOU are interested in. You are going to be spending an awful lot of time and energy on this business, it better be about something that you are passionate about and that you have lots of affinity for. If the topic isnāt your passionate heartbeat, there is no way that you are going to stick with it.Only after you have identified your topic, do you seek to match it with market opportunities. How do you do that? Letās move on to the next section so that I can explain the technical stuff:The Technical StuffFinding a Market OpportunityTopicLetās have a looksie at the process that I went through in order to identify my main business topic:Orgasm Art MemesGenre:BDSMI wondered to myself what I really like. I have worked in a number of industries before and most of them bored the living hell out of me.I have an exceptional imagination (I know because I had myself professionally tested), I have a dark sense of humour and I like sex (Duh). So my thoughts started wandering towards our deep and dark sexual desires and I thought of ways to make fun of it. Very subtle fun - sensual before funny.I have some experience in the life-style which I think is crucial. If you embark on something with theoretical knowledge only you will soon be seen as a fake or a wannabee.I then quickly evaluated the idea in my head:Will I have a target market?Yes, almost all people are interested in sexCan I find a viable niche market?Sure, BDSM is a recognized niche. 50 Shades proved that the niche is large enough to be viable. So far so good, now it was time to look at real numbers.Google AdwordsKeyword research is a field of study in its own so I am really just going to show you a few basics.Short tailA vague keyword/phrase with lots of traffic and also lots of competition.Long tailA detailed keyword/phrase with low traffic and hopefully also low competition. Why is this important? Letās have a looksie at Google Adwords. You will need to register a free account here: Google PPC Online AdvertisingWe will be using the keyword tool that is accessible on the top right-hand side of the screen.First, we will get keyword ideas and then we will match them against specific key phrase search volumes and competition. Here we have used the keyword āBDSMā and sorted according to competition. We are only interested in phrases with low competition. We are looking for two categories of volume 1k - 10k and 10k - 100k.More than 100k and you are trying to compete in the field where all the big boys are and you are not likely to appear in search results. 1k - 10k is less competitive and you are more likely to be able to compete here. Less than 1k and the volume is not high enough to make it worth your while.Make a spreadsheet listing all the key phrases that matches these criteria AND that are related to the central topic that you are starting to formulate in your head.In my case I wanted it to be a sexy and funny spanking themed idea producing art, clothing and stories. I was definitely not going to hire actors and start making BDSM films. Also, I know very little of the Japanese BDSM culture so for these reasons phrases like ābondage videoā and ājapanese bondageā did not make my list, even though they fit the volume and competition parameters. Then an idea struck - memes is a very popular method of making fun of things and lends itself very well to the medium of printed tshirts.Checking actual search volumes for specific phrases to following helped guide me to come up with āorgasm art memesā as my siteās central theme.š·āArtā, āmemesā & āorgasmā are all short tail. The competition might be low but good luck trying to compete using those three by themselves.āOrgasm artā, āorgasm memeā & āorgasm art memeā are all long tail with the latter being the most specific. Now we can also see something interesting here - why did I used āorgasm memeā as a keyword. Well the easy answer is that at the time when I did this research it fit my criteria. Google Trends is a useful tool to see how keyword popularity goes up and down over time: Google TrendsBut in any case, I will rank if someone searches for āorgasm artā or for āorgasm memeā.Of course I will be very competitive if someone searches for āorgasm art memeā but very few people search for that specific term. Now, as I did this check now for the article, my website has magically disappeared from the search rankings so I am rather alarmed. But fortunately I have a backup plan - my web presence extends beyond my website only. I wanted to discuss it later but this might as well be a good place to just show you the value of being present on as many places as possible:š·And on Quoraš·Quick investigationSo my website has all but disappeared from Google. Yesterday I still ranked quite prominently. The Google Search Console might provide a clue, seems like the host server is giving errors when Google tries to crawl it. I will have to investigate further once I have completed this article.š·I know I jumped a bit ahead but I feel that itās good that you get to have a look over my shoulder in realtime as I do these things.Donāt worry, weāll come back to the Search Console.Update: Hey it is back today, thank God. Who knows what had happened yesterday when I typed this article? I rank on the first two spots for my primary key phrase on krossbait.com and I take the 6th spot for my Redbubble shop. Yay for me!š·Topic Research ConclusionWe now have the three necessary elements in place:Something that I know fairly well and that I am passionate about. Something that I will want to keep researching and that I am willing to spend most of my waking hours with.A general idea that the topic and its specific niche is viable.A specific, refined keyword analysis that proves that there are enough search volumes and the competition is low enough for me to be able to compete.Hosting and Domain NameYour domain name is crucial. I slipped up here because I decided on https://krossbait.com before I did proper keyword research. I can kinda kick myself but I compensate by branding ākrossbait.comā as prominently as possible. But it would have been better if my keywords appeared in my URL.The https:// part is very important. You want to buy a SSL certificate right off the bat. It certifies your website as secure and accomplishes two things:Helps search rankings.Makes customers trust you more and therefore more likely to buy.Use a domain checker such as the one at Domain Registration to check for name availability. Some of the decisions you will have to make are:Length of nameKeyword inclusionLikelihood of typing errorsExtension e.g. .com or .org. If you want whoisguard (keeping your details private) .com is the way to go.Similar names of the competitionContent Management PlatformI use Wordpress and therefore I will only use it in my discussion. You will need to install Wordpress on your hosting, typically using something like Softalicious.***Important**\*Your hosting plan needs to include at least one database or Wordpress will not be able to run.Website BuildingThis is really not as simple as people make it out to be. Fortunately, there are quite a number of good tutorials on YouTube on Wordpress development. I am not going to explain it here, I am just going to show you a couple of important points.I use the Storefront theme as its Woocommerceās native theme.Plugins I useAdd From Server - to bypass the 4mb upload limit of media files. I FTP large files directly and then use the plugin to associate them in the media library.Advanced Woo Search - A cool search bar that is much more user-friendly than the default search bar.Akismet Anti-Spam - Keeps the leeches from spamming your website.Contact Form 7 - This is how your audience communicates with you.Custom Twitter Feeds - I am very active on Twitter. This displays my twitter feed on my site in the footer. Always good to link platforms.Dashboard Directory Size - Helps me keep an eye on how much disk space I am using on the server.Easy FancyBox - Necessary for lightbox, a nice way to display images.Flamingo - Stores all contact form queries in the database. Absolutely critical!Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights - Helps me to analyze web stats.MailChimp for WordPress - Used for email marketing.Max Mega Menu - A real nice menuMax Mega Menu - StoreFront Integration - makes Max Mega Menu work with the Storefront theme.MetaSlider - Method to display images.Orbisius Child Theme Creator - Always create a child theme. Quite a lengthy topic, please have a look on YouTube for discussions on child themes.Printful Integration for WooCommerce - I use Printful as a partner for printing and shipping. This plugin automates the process.Redux Framework - Necessary for lightbox support.Sassy Social Share - Critical, gives me as well as visitors a way to share my products and posts on various social media platforms.Social Count Plus - Social credibility, tells people how many followers I have. Unfortunately, the plugin is no longer being developed and supported and does seem to be buggy when it comes to updating your stats. I will keep looking for a replacement.Storefront Footer Text - Gives you the ability to edit the default footer text of the theme.Storefront Top Bar - Gives me two additional widget areas at the top of the screen, I use one for my search bar.Woo Product Slider and Carousel with category - Way to display products.WooCommerce - The heart of the website, the ecommerce platform.WooCommerce PayPal Express Checkout Gateway - Gateway that enables me to receive moolah from people when they buy my stuff.WooCommerce shop to Facebook - My shop is on Facebook as well. Cross-linking platforms, remember?WP Add Custom CSS - I can enter CSS code here to alter the appearance of website elements e.g. hide the default search bar.WP Super Cache - Makes my site fasterWP User Avatars - Put my pic next to my posts. Good for branding purposes.WP-DBManager - Optimize and backup the database. If things go wrong with the database, you are in a world of hurt.WP-Optimize - Makes my site run efficiently.Yoast SEO - Highly critical, help me to let my site be discovered by the search engines.Select YouTube - Way for me to embed YouTube videos in my site.Absolute Privacy (not active) - Locks my website down when I am busy developing. All in one wp migration (not active) ā Migrates my website from Desktopserver to the live environment. Also used to make backups.wp all import (not active) - make bulk changes to product data by importing and exportingwp all export (not active) - make bulk changes to product data by importing and exportingSite IdentityYour branding needs to be consistent yet everything must not just be an exact copy of a copy. Your keyword list is of crucial importance here.š·Update: The site Icon can be a real bitch to get right. I have decided on the lady with the cane as my primary branding image. But translating that to a teensy weensy site icon didnāt produce good results at all. The icon was simply too small and just looked like an āIā. I first considered changing the icon back to the skull that I had previously used but I felt that it really didnāt connect to my brand.š·I mean, when you look at the Google or Twitter site icons on your browser tabs you have no trouble recognizing them, right? I never thought that these were particularly good branding images but an exercise like this makes you realize their true value. And it makes you realize that the Whatsapp logo is better than the FireFox logo even though the FireFox logo is cleverder and beautifuller (see how awesomely I rock at the written word?).I kid you not, I only accidentally realized after years of looking at the FireFox logo that it was actually a fox that morphs into a flame that engulfs the earth. It is a really clever concept but I just never paid attention to the damn thing. My solution was to combine three things in my icon to make it recognizable:A cross for KrossbaitCross + Caning Lady forms a capital letter āKā. Well sorta ā¦Colours to make it stand out. Purple is associated with BDSM and there is a National Fetish Day with the slogan āPerverts wear purpleā. So there. Now letās have a look at one that I consider to be really bad ā the Redbubble site icon. If you look at the screenshot of my browser tabs below, we can see some pretty interesting things:Twitter: Easy to recognize.Quora: Also easy to navigate to.Krossbait a t positions 3 & 4, hopefully over time this will become a widely recognized icon. To my eye it looks pretty unique and it does stand out.Wordpress sitemaps: Also the icon when your site just fell over and you got something like a NGINX error. Mini heart attacks erupt in my chest whenever I see this icon.Amazon: Pretty recognizable.DeviantArt: Recognizable shape but I struggle to link it to DeviantArt.RedBubble: HOLY CRAP!!! IT IS A NGINX ERROR!!! PANICK ATTACK!!! Oh wait, itās just RedBubble and my eye involuntarily inverted the colours because the shapes are similar. Thanks a lot for that, RedBubble.Pinterest: Yeah, very easy to spot and recognize.Twitter Nonfollwers: Nah, too much detail that one canāt make out at such a small size. Not effective at all.Building SEO PagesYoast is your friend here. You really, really need to have it installed.First things first, we are going to build the home page. Donāt just call it āHomeā, rather use this opportunity to stuff you main key phrase in there like so:Now add your content. Be sure to add some attractive and relevant pics that are not copyright protected. And easy way of finding images is with Google Images and selecting āLabelled for reuseāAnd seeing that you will be creating your own designs you should have images to put on your pages. You will need to refer back to your keyword spreadsheet and make sure that you use your keywords but in normal, natural language. In the old days people just stuffed keywords but Google has gotten clever and will penalize you for that.Use the Yoast control panel at the bottom of the screen to make your SEO as good as possible. You goal is to convert red and orange lights to green lights. You SEO status is also displayed on the right hand of the screen; So you build page for page and then you set up product categories. For each of these you follow the same meticulous process.(Are you convinced yet that people are talking nonsense when they say that it is quick and easy to build a website?)Your final outcome of all this is that you want to build a menu that reflects the hierarchy of pages and categories like this:You will need to activate Product Categories in the Screen Options to be able to add them to the menu.I know it has been quite an information overload so far but the good news is that there is still plenty to come. If you have gotten stuck up to this point, you are welcome to drop me a line at https://krossbait.com/contact/Product CreationI have products that exist on five platforms. All of the platforms have their own tools with its own positives and negatives. I like the detail and control that is built into the Prinful mockup interface. Redbubble is good for putting the same design on multiple types of products all at once.Printful: The primary source of products that appears on my website. They have a pretty cool affiliate program that I incorporate on my website. If you register you will get a link like this that will enable you to receive profits from the sales of people who sign up through you:https://www.printful.com/a/654207:667a00219ee4cfbfd631314c86f9b2feIn case you were wondering, the above link is a shameless attempt from me to get you to sign up to Printful as my affiliate so that I can make additional money from Printful. I donāt believe in incorporating misleading marketing tactics, when I am trying to market to you I will tell you that I am doing it.Interestprint: I only use them because Printful doesnāt do underwear. For my specific market this is very important. People are more likely to wear something naughty if only they and their intimate partners know about it.This:is an easier sale than this:Redbubble: A separate set of products exist here: krossbait: Top Selling T-Shirts, Posters, Greeting Cards, Stickers, Wall Art and More. The benefit, as shown earlier is that this goes on no matter what happens to my website. Plus, Redbubble is much bigger and receives more traffic than I do. Rather than to compete, I joined forces.A link to the Redbubble store is in the sidebar that appears on every page. Crosslinking, remember?DeviantArt: Prints of the original artwork can be bought here: krossbait on DeviantArtNot only is it a potential source of income, but like everything, it is crosslinked and I am hoping that DeviantArt visitors might visit my site as well. Here you can see that another user has added my works to his watchlist. That is the beauty of joining forces and working collaboratively. The idea is to pass on as much love as possible and then people will do the same for you. Internet marketing is like jail ā¦ you canāt make it on your own.Amazon: I make use of Kindle Direct Printing and it is linked to my website:Remember that all products must be tagged properly. Your keyword research comes into play here and it might be more efficient for you to export your products to Excel, do the tagging and the import back to Wordpress. Be careful with the WP All Import process, donāt wipe out all of the products that you have so painstakingly created.Submitting SitemapsUp to this point Google and Bing has virtually no idea that you even exist. You need to kindly inform them that they need to tell people about you. You accomplish this by submitting sitemaps.Step 1 is to create the sitemaps in Yoast. Open the configuration wizard and follow the prompts:The next part is quite tricky - to find the damn sitemaps. Click on the āFeaturesā tab in Yoast and then on the question mark next to āXML Sitemapsā. Then the āSee the Sitemapsā link.A new tab should open with the sitemaps. You want to copy and paste them one by one in the sitemaps dialogue box in the Google Search Console: Search Console - Home. You will have to sign up and create a property. This can be really confusing. Remember you can drop me a line on https://krossbait.com/contact/ if you need help.Just copy and paste the part directly after .com/ as illustrated below.Wait a couple of days until the sitemaps are indexed. Follow the same process for Bing: Bing - Webmaster ToolsBacklinksBacklinks are one of the ways in which Google determines how relevant your site is. If a high authority site links to yours then you get some delicious link juice. But how the hell are you supposed to get that, right?Asking prominent bloggers whether you can be a guest blogger and make sure that your blogpost contains backlinks. Ugh ā¦ personally I am way too shy to ever consider doing this.100% Free SEO Tools - SmallSEOTools.com - use the backlink maker. The have some other nifty tools on their site as well and it is free.Backlinks in social media - when you create a Pinterest profile, for example, you get the opportunity to put your website link in your bio. Unfortunately, many social media platforms mark links as ānofollowā which means that it wonāt really count as backlinks.Social Media MarketingAnd you thought that it was hard up to here. Fear not, now the real work starts. You canāt just be on one place. You need to be as everywhere as possible. You need to get the maximum followers everywhere and accomplish that without triggering ant-spam policies that could get you suspended or banned. You also need to understand the difference in post persistence between the different platforms.I will discuss the posting strategy to the different platforms after all the platforms have been introduced. What is important to keep in mind regarding followers and likes is that it not only determines your potential audience but it also demonstrates credibility. So we might run campaigns simply to collect Facebook likes or we might jump on a SDV train in Twitter to collect followers but none of those will be potential customers for us. Those are just social credibility numbers and should be seen as only that. The last thing before we get to the individual platforms is stats and measurability. All the platforms have some way of analyzing who sees your posts, tweets etc. Use the analytics to get a better understanding of your potential. I can guarantee that some of your most brilliant posts will receive little attention while the post that you wrote half asleep suddenly goes viral. Social media is a temperamental beast.FacebookI will admit, I have no love for Facebook. I am there just because I have to be. It is the only platform where I get random video calls throughout the day and night from virtual strangers. It creeps the hell out of me.And Facebook probably has the harshest anti-spam triggers. Screw with that and they will lock you out of your account for days.Donāt try to send too many friend requests at a time. Donāt try to post too many posts in direct succession. You will need an account with a business page. Fill in all the relevant details. You will need to come back to this page to update it with links to your other social accounts - everything needs to crosslink, remember? Note how my branding is aligned to my website as well as to my other platforms and how my other platforms are linked - Albie KrossOn the business page you will need to have a store. In order to do this you need to open a Please Login again - StoreYa.com account and the WooCommerce shop to Facebook plugin installed on your website. Follow the instructions and port your Woocommerce products to the Facebook store. Can be a bit tricky, make sure you read the StoreYa instructions carefully. To get Facebook friends you can basically do things to start off:Search for topics on Facebook relevant to your business and invite people who show up in these searches.Search for groups relevant to your business and join. Some of the groups will first ask some screening questions. As mentioned before ā¦ be very, very careful on how you send friend requests. Facebook WILL get its panties in a bunch and lock you out of your account if irregular activity is detected.Posts on Facebook timelines are moderately persistent. People generally get a couple of moments to view before it moves down out of sight on the screen. This means that you will need to repost stuff, but certainly not as frequently as with Twitter. If you would like to know how to get 10 000 likes on Facebook within three to four days, you can contact me on https://krossbait.com/contact/.Facebookās paid advertising is probably the most powerful out there due to the power of demographics that you get to harness. But for now I am going to skip over it. First start making sales before you start spending money on paid advertising, right?TwitterTweets are the least persistent of all. If you login to Tweetdeck you will be amazed how quickly your timeline moves when you have a sizable amount of followers. This means that you really have to stand out in order to catch the audienceās attention. When you fill out your bio, include some hashtags to make it easier to be discovered. There is plenty of info on the interwebs about hashtags so I am not going to repeat it. What I will mention is to include #SDV and #IFB. You are telling people that you will follow them back if they follow you. (You must actually do it as well, donāt be a prick) This is how mine looks, notice the branding and the use of hashtags: KrossBait (@albie_kross) | TwitterI recommend using Unfollower Stats :: Track and unfollow your unfollowers! to manage your followers. Follow back all the little darling angels who followed you and unfollow all the ratbastard psychotics who donāt follow you back.Be very careful here, although Twitter doesnāt really care about spam when you post, it does get all PMSsy when you start mass unfollowing people. How do you get Twitter followers:Post some really funny and original tweets.Follow people, bearing in mind that Twitter has a ratio lock meaning that you will need at some point to get more followers before you can follow again. If memory serves me correctly it is 1000 follows.Like and retweet good tweets.Engage with people either by comments or by retweeting and including a comment. Most twits donāt really bother to interact so you can really stand out if you interact regularly.Jump on an SDV train every now and then when it comes along. It is basically a pact between a bunch of people that everybody will retweet a tweet and follow everybody that retweeted. You can pick up quite a few followers like this.I have used a service like Get More Twitter Followers at BestFollowers with varying levels of success. And remember, if you want me to help you with your online presence, do drop me a line at https://krossbait.com/contact/

20 Go-To Gift Ideas For Fatherās Day
Itās almost Fatherās Day once again. For your dad, that means a day of lounging around and getting the appreciation he so richly deserves, preferably with something chilled and malty within armās reach. But for you, it likely means a mad last-minute scramble of trying to find a gift worthy of his Herculean efforts.
You can relax ā weāve done the hard work for you. Here are 20 great Fatherās Day gift ideas that wonāt fail to impress the old man.
Streaming Stick
The DVD box-set is long dead ā a dusty old relic from an ancient age of home entertainment. These days, the best way to satisfy dadās desire to sit on the sofa and watch hours of movies and TV is a streaming stick. It plugs straight into the TV and provides direct access to literally thousands of channels and subscription services. Theyāre also wire-free, ugly-box-under-the-TV-free, and some models offer 4K high-definition too ā so if dadās the type who likes the latest, state-of-the-art tech, itās a nifty addition to his home cinema setup.

Whisky
There comes a time in every manās life when the measure of masculinity becomes less about how many goals heās scored at five-a-side, or how many pints he can sink in one sitting, and more about how many quality, rare, or unique whiskies heās got stocked in the cupboard. And though whisky might seem like a clichĆ©d gift on Fatherās Day, the usual brand names are just the tip of the boozy iceberg when it comes to how many incredible whiskies are out there. Look out for bottles that use unusual distillation processes or pack in interesting flavours to seal a nod of approval from your old man.

Driving Experience Day
The driving gloves are a dad staple ā the kind of thing Alan Partridge would gladly receive from his kids on Fatherās Day. But why not go one better and get your dad a driving experience (not that driving a car while wearing Partridge-style gloves isnāt an experience in itself, of course). You can choose from supercar track days ā which means burning round in McLarens, Aston Martins, or Ferraris ā or heavy duty off-roading. And if dad fancies something more specialist, he can even drive famous movie cars (Back to the Future DeLorean, anyone?), monster trucks, or erm, articulated lorries.

Headphones
Some dads stay down with the kids and the latest tunes. Others stick to dad-rock and golden oldies. But all dads need a decent set of headphones. Thereās a great range depending on how serious he is about his music, including over-ear noise-cancelling headsets, or ā for the dad who likes a stealthier, more inconspicuous look ā a pair of in-ear buds. Health-conscious dads might even appreciate a pair of smart earphones that double up as a fitness tracker, so he can monitor all his vitals while cranking out his favourite hits.

Beard Trimmer
Take the hassle out of popsā grooming routine with a top-of-the-range beard trimmer ā an essential part of any modern manās grooming kit. The best models have multiple settings for different beard styles, fast-charging (and long-lasting) batteries for cordless use, an in-built vacuum to hoover up hair cutting as he trims, and multiple accessories for tackling eyebrows, ears and even nose hair (which is a hairy fate that awaits all men, unfortunately).
Despite all those features, a decent beard trimmer wonāt cost you a small fortune. Combine it with a fancy beard oil or shampoo for the full groom-tastic set.

Sunglasses
Donāt throw shade on your dad this Fatherās Day with a rubbish gift ā put shades on him instead. And if heās marching into his autumn years gracefully, and rocking the silver fox, salt-and-pepper-beard look with seasoned grace, an elegant pair of sunglasses will do just the job. Chances are he still feels about 19-years-old anyway, so heāll enjoy swaggering around James Dean-style.
Even if heās not the most fashion-conscious of dads, a pair of classic aviators or no-nonsense Ray-Ban Wayfarers are a timeless look on just about anyone.

Bike Maintenance Kit
Most dads will have a sort of rudimentary tool box knocking around for those general, quick-fixer-upper jobs. But when it comes to fixing up a bicycle, you need a specialist set of tools for the job: a good bike maintenance kit. This will include all the basics, such as a puncture repair kit, allen keys and wrenches, but also tools for repairing or tinkering with your chain, spokes, and pedals. Itās the kind of tool kit that your dad would probably never think to buy himself, but heāll be eternally grateful the second his bike needs tuning up.

Smart Speaker
Much more than just a bit of kit of blasting out tunes, the smart speaker is likely to become dadās new personal assistant/best friend. These gadgets sit in the corner of the room, answer all of dadās questions, do the Googling for him, control the thermostat, sprinklers, and lights, and can even order him a pizza. Donāt be surprised if you get bumped down the family pecking order ā it can do more chores in one afternoon that you did for your entire 18 years living at home.

Craft Beer Subscription
The craft revolution continues, putting the mass-produced, tasteless lagers we once quaffed without question to shame. Of course, there are so many crafty beers, lagers, and stouts available itās hard to know where to start with all those quirky, colourful labels packing out shelves. With a craft beer subscription, you can get a beer expert to do the hard work for you ā for a set fee, theyāll pick out a selection of craft beers to send directly to your old manās door each month, so heāll always have some new and exciting bottles to hand.

Knitwear
Men and knitwear ā a pairing thatās been a staple of fatherhood for generations. In fact, weāre pretty sure itās a legal requirement for dads to own at least one cardigan or woolly jumper. But knitwear isnāt the old fashioned garb it used to be; itās a chance to keep him looking stylish and on-trend. If heās not into cardies or jumpers, a good quality scarf and pair of gloves will do the job.

Carving Set
Cooking a slap-up, hearty meal has been reclaimed by modern alpha men as one of the key dad-skills ā and the roast is the greatest, most triumphant of all the slap-up, hearty meals. So what dadās life is complete without the proper kitchen tools ā a good quality meat plate and set of knives ā to carve and serve the proud results of his hard roasting labour? Heāll look and feel like a don at the head of the table, and if you want him to get serious about cooking meat, combine the set with a book on roasting and carving (honestly, itās harder than it sounds).

Fitness Watch
Furnishing the old man with a gold timepiece is a thing of the past. So instead of buying him a watch that simply tells the time, try one that can also tell him how his heart rateās doing, how many steps heās walked that day, calories burned, speed, distance, and anything else he needs to keep in top shape. When paired with his smartphone (assuming he can work a smartphone, of course), a fitness watch will be like having a personal trainer on hand at all times. Except much less shouty.

Slippers
Look up Fatherās Day in an encyclopedia, and itās sure to be accompanied by a picture of the humble slipper. But thereās a reason slippers are a Fatherās Day tradition ā theyāre a nod to the fact that dadās got a bloody hard life sometimes, so he should take a load off and relax. Wool-lined slippers are where itās at for pure comfort, but why not try a pair of new-fangled slippers with a detachable rubber sole, for outdoor and indoor relaxing.

Double-Edged Safety Razor
If your dad keeps a clean shaven look ā or puts a razor to his chin semi-regularly ā a double-edged safety razor is an ideal gift. They take a bit more practice to use (itās not as simple as just hacking away) but the benefits speak for themselves. The blade is angled to ensure a much closer shave, plus being able replace the blade means it will irritate his skin much less than the average cartridge razor. Splashing out on quality will save your dad some cash too ā heāll never have to buy another razor, just dirt-cheap replacement blades.

Decanter and Tumblers
What do you need for a proper drinks cabinet? Whisky ā check. Rum ā check. Vodka and gin ā check. Brandy ā check. Mixers ā check. Some of those little umbrellas that go into cocktailsā¦ well, maybe not. But one essential for making it a next level drinks cabinet ā and we mean serious next level, the kind of drinks cabinet dad will show off with equal pride as his own children ā is a crystalline decanter and tumbler set. Itās the classiest way to drink and will make the old man feel like Don Draper when heās supping back the hard stuff.

Drone
Thereās not a man in the world who completely grows out of playing with toys ā a fact proved by the ever-growing world of smart gadgets and wearable tech (toys for grown ups, letās be honest). But on Fatherās Day, the one day of the year when itās all about dad, cut to chase with a serious piece of kit: an all-singing, all-dancing, all-flying drone, which can be controlled straight from his phone. These are essentially the toys of future ā the kind of space-age plaything your dad could only dream of when he was a boy.

Coffee Grinder
Dadās been getting through life fuelled by coffee fumes and goodwill since the day you were born. But for the modern coffee drinker, itās about much more than a quick-fix energy boost. Fragrance
Whether itās aftershave, cologne, or eau de toilette (and yes, they are different things), dad likes to smell good. He might be knocking on a bit, but he still likes to unleash his inner sex panther with a decent whiff now and again. And rather than just pick any old scent off the shelf, do your research and find one that best suits him or, if all else fails, follow your nose to a classic menās fragrance.
Buy Now: Ā£11.30 for 100ml
Smart Toothbrush
Those techy boffins make everything smart these days ā even your toothbrush. A step up from your standard Oral-B, the smart toothbrush pairs with a phone app and monitors your brushing routine.
