Started playing a game called Gnosia (I'm on my 21st loop met all the characters and roles so far)

And its really fun Reminds me of Zero Escape Virtue's Last Reward with the sci fi aesthetic and the rules ofgam werewolf being reminiscent of prisoners dilemma So far I rec it to my milgram mutuals to tide us over/prepare us for T3 (esp if like me you have a dangan/Zero escape background)

How Gnosia characters would react to you having a tapeworm

Setsu: …A tapeworm? OK…lets see if we can investigate the cause of this. Yeah, let's do it. We still dont know everything for certain, but I know we'll figure it out. Hehe…this is actually kind of nice. Spending time with you, I mean.

Gina: Oh… I'm sorry… I'm sure it'll be OK…

SQ: Um… a tapeworm? Aren’t those like, suuuppper good for losing weight and stuff? You’re like, soooo lucky, can you like, lend him to me afterwards?

Raqio: Hah, a tapeworm? Seriously? You'd have to be brainless to get one of those. I suppose its not surprising you got one then, [Player].

Stella: Oh, my… thats horrible… let me know if you need assistance, [Player]. I want to support you as best I can..!

Shigemichi: Woah, a real tapeworm? For real? Thats crazy, bud! Lemme know if ya got any troubles, y'know? THIS guy'll take care of em, no sweat.

Chipie: A tapeworm, eh? Haha, lemme know if theres anything I can do to help ya.

Comet: Oh man, you got a tapeworm? That sucks. Try drinking water or something? I heard that helps. I think.

Kukrushka: Kukrushka smiles warmly, as if to say, "everything will be alright, I'll handle this." Her demeanor shows this much.

Otome: squeak Oh no…thats horrible. I'm so sorry! Um…I hope you feel better soon.

Sha-Ming (Male MC): What the hell? That's disgusting, why are you telling me this crap? You screwed yourself over, not my problem…

Sha-Ming (Female MC): Haha, y'know, I've always been kinda into tapeworms. I could give ya little help down there, if you want. C'mon, don't be shy…

Remnan: …What? Why… why are you telling me this…?

i am going to need to brute force this, arent i. well. HELLO MUTUALS. youre not going anywhere YOU ARE STAYING RIGHT HERE and i will explain GNOSIA CHARACTERS to you. do with this what you will.

SETSU: nonbinary legend. deutaroganist. very smart and kind but they also throw a guy out of the airlock for being annoying, calling them babe and misgendering them. everyone wants them, fish fear them.

RAQIO/RACIO: nonbinary legend number TWO. know it all little BASTARD. their hobbies include a little trolling, having a superiority complex and betraying their allies if currently convenient. i absolutely adore them.

YURIKO: fucked up cyber space-shrine maiden. LITERALLY yoinks the protagonist's plot armor after the tutorial is over. she is extremely scary

SHIGEMICHI: this is an 80 y/o human man who had an accident as a child and because he had a fucking special interest in aliens or smn like that his dad got him some shiny new skin. which makes him look like a stereotypical alien. hes as silly and goofy as he looks. an absolute FOOL. i love him.

STELLA: the ship AI. just wants to be A Real Boy. PAINFULLY heterosexual but she's very sweet.

JONAS: ship captain. he is so fucked up i dont even know whats wrong with him JUST LOOK AT HIM. fucking SPACE COWBOY. hes a weirdo. he doesn't fit in and he doesn't wanna fit in. i have never seen him without that stupid hat on. thats weird.

KUKRUSHKA: mute but like. i dont fucking know, ~telepathatically~ communicates. something is also wrong with her. one time she asked me to take a bunch of people out for her because she Didnt Trust Them and i did! and then she killed me. cunt. shes also like? a doll???

SQ: canonically a test tube baby. local bisexual gaslight-gatekeep-girlboss. she's a bit of a manipulative bitch but we love her for it.

CHIPIE: LITERALLY cat otherkin. has an entire cat thats been transplanted into his neck to aid with his transition into a cat. i swear to god im not fucking with you.

OTOME: beluga whale. BELUGA WHALE. IN A LITTLE CART. WITH LITTLE MECHANICAL HANDS. ARE YOU SEEING THIS SHIT. HELLO? HELLO??????

i ran out of PICTURES PER POST. I HATE YOU TUMBLR. theres a couple of characters missing (namely sha-ming, gina, comet and remnan) but i made sure to have the most relevant ones here. but tl;dr

sha-ming is the guy who gets thrown out of the airlock for getting on setsu's nerves

gina is literally just some chick

comet is the host for an alien space mold that can break loose and kill everyone on the ship

remnan is honestly more anxiety than man

Gnosia Characters as Pokemon Trainers

I’v been thinking for a while about which types of Pokemon would be used by Gnosia characters. This is mainly based on my personal impressions. Order of the characters is totally random. THIS MAY AND WILL CONTAIN SOME SPOILERS FOR GNOSIA.

First of all, I think that Setsu would be using fighting types, just because their past as a soldier. For some reason I see them with the ones like Machamp or Lucario. 

Raqio would definitely be the psychic-type trainer. They could also use some fairy-types, according to their fancy sense of style, but I think that psychic type (according to some events) would fit them much better. Alakazam or even Mewtwo (if we include legendaries) would be a cool match for them.

Next is Stella. Well, I thought about grass/fairy type for her. Grass type just because the Plastic Flower event and fairy type... I dunno, she reminds me of Gardevoir a bit, maybe that’s the case.

Next one is Shigemichi. Dunno, he’s just electric/bug type for me. There’s no more to explain, it’s just an impression. I think he would look cool with Vikavolt or even Magnemite if we include just electric type.

Sha-ming could be either fighting type or ground/rock for me. Similar to Shigi’s case, pure impression. I’d see him with Gliscor or Krookodile. 

Jonas could use steel or poison types. Steel, because of, well, the thing attached to his arm, and poison, because... well, I just claim that he’s.. let’s put it in kind words, a connoisseur of alcoholic beverages, which TECHNICALLY is poisoning an organism. He’d look cool with Magearna or Seviper 

Yuriko is definitely Dark/Ghost user and I do not want any discussion about that. I can only imagine her ordering Gengar to use Dream Eater on basically anyone who would cross her. 

Otome is easy to link as a water type. Like, come on, she’s a damn whale. Tbh any fish pokemon would fit her good. 

Remnan.. poor boy, I’d give him ghost type, just because how traumatized his character is. The perfect partner for him imo would be Mimikyu.

SQ, the bimbo queen. Come on, we can all agree that she’d definitely use pure fairy type. Florges, Togepi, Alcremie, anything cute would fit her as a good partner.

Next one is Comet. Well, according to her place of origin, which is high in lethality planet, the poison type would probably be the best. According to her.. slimy thing, her main pokemon would be Muk.

Chipie. Well, Chipie is a cat person (literally and figuratively). He could be friend with any cat pokemon, but the main type would be normal in my opinion.

Kukrushka. Technically I could give her a fairy type, but some traumatic event called KUKRUSHKA INCIDENT leads me to give her a dark type. I think that she could use Zoroark or Sableye.

The last one, but definitely not the least, is Gina. Technically, she’s a space traffic controller, I could give her for example a steel type, but I have no clue what specific Pokemon she could have as a partner.

Which video games each Gnosia character would play:

Setsu: Anything with a fishing minigame. Once they’ve started it, they can’t seem to stop. They never end up finishing the actual game.

Gina: Cooking Mama. Cooking, delicious food, what more could she ask for?

SQ: Danganronpa. She’s surprisingly good at the mystery aspect, and loves the aesthetic overall.

Raqio: Something with incredibly complex puzzles that can work their brain.

Shigemichi: Canonically enjoys games with PvP. Maybe League of Legends?

Stella: Stardew Valley. She takes great care of her farm, and she may or may not be dating all the bachelors.

Chipie: Any game where you can play as a cat. Preferably a more laid-back game, though.

Comet: She’s not the brightest, so she’s not going to be a fan of anything involving strategy or puzzle-solving. Honestly, she’d probably just hang out on Roblox.

Yuriko: Probably doesn’t have any interest in games, and if she did she would never admit it. But who knows, maybe SQ could convince her to try a fashion game!

Jonas: Overwatch. Because he’s insane. He’d also 100% be a McCree main.

Kukrushka: Hitman. Sometimes she actually completes the mission as intended, sometimes she just feels like trying to take out everyone in sight.

Otome: Fire Emblem. She’s pretty good at the strategy and loves the matchmaking aspect. She especially loves fishing in Three Houses. She uses every single piece of bait in the fishing tourney.

Sha-Ming: Animal Crossing. He’d definitely be one of those people who prefers the older games, which focused less on the designing aspects and more on the villager interactions. His town is a mess with weeds everywhere, but he doesn’t care.

Remnan: Minecraft. Just for the building, though. He’d build all sorts of super complex things and then show them to Raqio.

Designed my Gnosia OC, Lauki.

Tentatively trying to do more Gnosia work and poke into the community a bit. New space and the anxiety and all. Plus I’ven’t finished the game yet, so trying to avoid spoilers still.

But here’s my boy! Tried to mimic the style a bit, think I kinda didn’t 100% nail it, but looks like a weird mix of my style and the official one. Just know there was an attempt.

He has amnesia (as per the game) and trying to figure out his past and because of this he and Setsu often are seen together as they seem to know more about him than he does, but with the Gnosia threat, they are both not making much stride in that regard. 

Lauki, himself, is a pretty playful guy who enjoys chatting up other people and getting to know them. Pretty friendly and seems to always be hanging out with at least one person. While it isn’t confirmed, based off of his actions, he seems to have a fear of being alone. Where this fear came from, however, is unknown.  Despite this, Lauki is slow to trust others when in Gnosia presence, rarely teaming up with others unless it is proven that they are confirmed human--or at least not Gnosia.  More under the cut :3

Well, except Raqio and in many cases Gina. For some reason, both Raqio and Gina ends up being a massive blindspot for Lauki. While he never 100% trusts Raqio, he does really enjoy talking with Raqio and they are one of the few crew members that Lauki seems to genuinely think of as a friend. This causes him to often side and support Raqio regardless of whatever role the Gliesean may actually have. Lauki’s not an AC Follower, he’s just a Raqio simp follower. To many, it’s obvious that Lauki may have a bit of a crush on them. Which Raqio is 100% down to use to their own advantage, not that Lauki minds.

In regards to Gina, it’s a complicated situation. Being one of the few people to remember the loops, Lauki had a rough start where Gina was constantly Gnosia for a several loops and when she wasn’t he just didn’t understand her motives or thought processes, so she often came about as untrustworthy (mainly cause even though he can be  somewhat logical, he often goes on instinct vs logic). That being said, somehow he still ends up in a strange situation where when he’s SURE she’s gnosia, she’s not and when she IS gnosia (and he suspects this) he’s unable to convince others to distrust her. This leads to a bit of frustrated yelling of “GINAAAAAAA” and pointing at her desperately before he’s sent to cold sleep. When she’s for sure good though, he actually enjoys their talks and her company.  His relationship with Setsu is pretty straight forward. The two of them are a friendly working relationship--both to get to the bottom of this odd loop phenomenon and trying to help Lauki regain his memories. There has been some instances where some memory have returned, but it’s still very much a work in progress. Despite their relationship being more of a working relationship at the start, Lauki and Setsu do become good friends and despite the fact that they know at any time that they could end up having to be on opposite sides of the Human vs Gnosia dynamic, they both tend to have each other’s back more often than not, even when the other ends up infected.  The deal with Kukrushka basically comes down to how many times she’s fucked him (and the crew) over with her crocodile tears, pity partying, telling him to stfu, even when she is also crew. That and when she’s gnosia it’s next to impossible for him to get her tossed into cold sleep. She’s a frustrating ally and adversary both and that frustrates him.
