Can you tell me about your oc Felix?
Oh boy can I ever! Iâll try to keep this short and sweet but heâs one of my favorite OCs (and Iâm currently working on a comic project involving him)
Felix Santiago Carrow is the son of a vampiress known as Felicity Wilde and an unknown human man. Born in Arizona in the mid 1800s, he was abandoned at birth for being apparently human and subsequently raised by a family of vaqueros. After a rocky childhood he became an outlaw at 17, becoming a highly infamous figure across the southwestern states (think Billy the Kid levels of infamy). He was captured and executed for his crimes at the age of 34, but his death activated his latent vampire genes, transforming him into a monstrous dhampir who terrorized the old west until its final fall in 1912. He joined his birth motherâs coven after that, becoming her favoured guard dog.
Unlike the vampires around him, as a dhampir he is truly immortal, unable to be killed by either mortal or holy weaponry (though it still hurts like hell). This is a problem for him, as he has become incredibly bored with life and after almost 200 years desperately wants an out. He copes with living forever and being left behind by history through a variety of bad habits (sex, drugs, gambling, you get the point). On top of all that, heâs still under the thumb of his mother, unable to free himself from her control and stuck carrying out her orders.
Needless to say, life sucks for olâ Felix. Donât feel too bad for him though he does eat people.
Heâs also extremely catholic. This doesnât really stop him from being a bad person he just feels guilty about it when he is.

There is no better way to get to know someone than through a good question tag. In this case we have decided to make an Indie game dev question tag with the responses of our four developers. We hope that it will reveal many unknowns, but if you are left with any questions, do not hesitate to use our ask.
What part of game development are you responsible for?
Athe: I write and write, I melt in my seat, I correct, I cry and then I program. Itâs an endless cycle. Occasionally I laugh like crazy while I eat Pringles.
Sam: I draw and color without leaving the lines (almost always) the sprites, the illustrations and the ravings that usually occur to us past 3 in the morning.
Illy: English translations.
Sher: I draw BGs
What tools do you use (hardware / software)?
Athe: Recently my desktop PC has passed away, so Iâve had to rescue my old PC from the garage. I also have a laptop that saves my life more times than I would like to admit. As for the software, I need, above all, drive documents, video editing programs, image etc (I have an Adobe package) and of course Renpy and Atom.
Sam: My main friend and companion is my tablet, a wacom intuos S (pistachio color, so cute). As programs I mainly use the Paint Tool Sai, because there is nothing in this life like its stabilizer. And less frequently than I would like (for details, texture brushes, effects ...) I also use Clip Studio Paint, which I only know how to use at about 2% of its capacity ... If someday I have time I would love to stop and learn seriously what can be done with it.
Illy: During the school year I live in a residence, so I use an old laptop, and when I return home I use a desktop computer that never has memory space. I translate the chapters in the same Atom where the complete script is and I keep them in google drive files where I share them with our beta reader. I also use editing programs like photoshop when I have to translate comics or procreate for when my artistic skills are required.
Sher: ipad+procreate+some final tweak in photoshop, I don't need much more
What is your favorite part of the job?
Athe: Would it be wrong if I say that is when we released the episode? During the whole production time everything is very stressful, there are times when itâs really uphill, but when we release a new chapter it feels soooo good. It's like saying to yourself, yeah, dammit, I can do it. Look at everything you've climbed by yourself. You're doing it right.
Sam: In general, my favorite parts are when the first scenes start to be programmed, and I can see the sprites with the backgrounds, the texts, and how the illustrations look. Everything always looks so much better when viewed in-game⊠I also really like being able to check out the script as it is written. And from the artistic part that concerns me, when I see that my hands capture the idea that I had in my head ... Especially in character designs.
Illy: Having to find a way to translate very spanish expressions into English, research vocabulary that I have never had to use and commenting on some translations with our beta reader (which we adore) to make it understandable without losing the original meaning.
Sher: I like to do the lineart when the sketch is complete, if I no longer have to think about anything else and it's just going through it, I find it very fun and relaxing
What is the most difficult part for you?
Athe: Offf, yes, I admit it, sometimes writing is the WORST. Other times I love it, especially when I can expand on the descriptions or stop at a part that is intimate or that I find interesting (for example, Hasiel's conversation from 6.3, small spoiler: P). But, I HATE having to paste scenes, often the protagonist moves between scenes and you always have to add lines to those transitions that really do not interest anyone, but that otherwise the text would be confusing. Anyway... It is a very wide world, with a lot of history, I have to deal with what I need readers to know to understand the facts, although sometimes it gets a bit boring.
Sam: What part does not... Rather who e.e Zihel and Ariel are a thorn in my side. Especially Zihel. I know it has to do with the fact that it has never been my strength to draw boys, and much less if they are more masculine in appearance... That's why I also suffer a lot from drawing muscles. Another thing that brings me a headache is the perspective of the illustrations. Every time I try to get out of the typical shot or poses a little... It doesn't work out.
Illy: Doughyâs  stuttering ÂŹ.ÂŹ
Sher: chairs, sofas, tables... anything with four legs is my enemy
Anything to help or encourage you while you are working?
Athe: I need music, no, seriously, I NEED IT. Iâm unable to focus without it. If, on top of that, I can get what I hear to act as a sounding board for what I write, the text is a thousand times better... But the muse is a pretty bad person.
Sam: Having a show/movie in the background that entertains me. The longer the better, so I don't have to stop to think what I want to put on next.
Illy: Eating sunflower seeds to trick my brain and not be tempted to do something else that distracts me.
Sher: I try to see other artists to motivate and inspire me before I start drawing, what I find most difficult is that initial push and that is where I need the motivation, then I usually have something in the background but it is not necessary
Something thatâs a pet peeve or discouraging?
Athe: Some narrative climax moments. Generally, they are not important plot moments (that is almost entirely decided), they are often small decisions to go from scene A to scene B, but I can spend a LOT of time deciding which is the fastest and best way to tie those two ends. I'm the worst.
Sam: Many times when starting, I can't get the poses to fit the way I want, for example.
Illy: Finding many parts in a row that I find especially difficult to solve and that make me believe that I have forgotten how to English properly. And looking at how many lines I still have left.
Sher: When I don't know how to fill in some area, if I see something very empty but I don't know how to solve it, I can spend days looking at the screen without being able to advance, even if I have other areas that I could do in the meantime
What is required on your table or work surface?
Athe: Notebooks, sticky notes, pens⊠Iâm a person who writes everything down, especially the tasks, but I also order the story by color schemes. The stack of sticky notes have 9 different colors, each one represents a character and I play a lot with them for a lot of nonsense. Besides, even though I have been writing on the computer for many more years than I wrote by hand, I still have a preference for the analogical.
Sam: Coffee, sweets, chocolate, cereals... And cats.
Illy: My phone, the sunflower seeds, a Capital America: Civil War 1L water cup, sticky notes that remind me of tasks.
Sher: I have nothing really lol all my things are for decoration
Your most productive hours?
Athe: Owl. Totally nocturnal. Although I have several crises a month to force myself to work at other times that always end... Wrong.
Sam: Also at night for the most part, although I can no longer stay awake as long as I endured before having a job (the good old days...) However, in the middle of the afternoon, when the zoo that I have at home is still taking a nap, I also manage to go a long way.
Illy: From when I finish eating until 7 or 8 in the afternoon, when I don't have to cook, clean, run errands...
Sher: I take over for Illy apparently, from 7 or 8 is when I start to get into the mood until bedtime
Do working hours make you forget to eat or make you eat twice as much?
Athe: It depends, in the past I ate a lot, now if I have stress I don't eat anything. If I'm in a normal productive phase and I'm not on my nerves, I'm probably eating by inertia.
Sam: They make me eat more, but especially junk food e.e And they make me forget healthy meals, especially dinner at night.
Illy: It depends on my mood, but I usually eat twice as much.
Sher: I'm generally a VERY distracted person so I don't usually get to focus on a task to get to either of those two modes but I guess when I am sooooooo much on the task, I forget. But that happens like a couple of times a year and "forgetting" is "I delay an hour."
What part of your set up would you improve / change (in aesthetics or functionality) if you had no money limit?
Athe: I'm trying to match some of my peripherals with the rest. They are all a damn different color, apparently I'm cursed... Now seriously, I wish I had a better graphic card that would allow me to make video captures, some speakers and a quality printer.
Sam: Actually, I don't think I need anything more complex than what I already have⊠But if I had to improve something, I'm curious about the most professional tablets, the big ones with the included screen and all that stuff.
Illy: A new laptop that lets me open 4 chrome tabs, Atom and photoshop at the same time without dying.
Sher: A pc screen that will not change the colors I use on the iPad would be nice, really
Which character are you most like? And why?
Athe: Phew I think the easy answer would be to say Akane ... But, Akane is a better person. : P
Sam: This is very difficult... They are all very different, but still I do not think I look much like any of them. If I have to say something, I could identify with Maske's tendency to avoid problems, and his more homey and calm side. And well⊠Since Akane has been an OC of mine for many years, surely I have something of her too.
Illy: I think I partly have Maske's instinct to stay out of trouble, and on the other hand Joe's shallowness, although tbh I wish I really did look like any of our awesome babies.
Sher: surprised because (unpopular opinion around here) is one of those who I "least care" about really but I would say that Pin because he is a little dumb, happy and probably has a Satanic room and proud of it
Favorite CG/art.
Athe: AT THE MOMENT. Maske chapter 1. It couldn't be more predictable. I know.
Sam: I quite agree with Maske in chapter 1. But I would also put Pin in chapter 5 and Akane in chapter 6.2 on the top.
Illy: Kyeran in Coco's tank ?? Is he even real? Being basic is my brand.
Sher: surprised again and disappointed but I would say that of angel Hasiel because I like pretty dresses, pretty hairs and pretty wings
Favorite BG/scene.
Athe: The Red Light District amazes me. I already liked the life of that place, its history, but the way of expressing it... Uggg Sher took it to another level. The dirt on the street, the night, the constricted buildings...
Sam: I think Iâll say Razielâs square, I like it a lot from the first day.
Illy: I don't know if I can choose just one T__T but I would say that the Red Light District and Valefar's pub are at the top.
Sher: for not repeating the red light district that I also like very much, I really like the areas of Coco's laboratory, including the âmainâ area although the perspective is horrible and makes the characters look tiny, but I like how it looks :(
Your favorite chapter to date?
Athe: Ufff... The first and second one I assure you no, hahaha. I will say that the third one, but also for things that are not necessarily from the chapter, but of the production. It was a good moment. I felt that everything was flowing with ease. We all assumed a clear role, they were times that made us feel comfortable and capable of assuming what came next, I think it was a qualitative leap also, both in texts and in art.
Sam: Oh. Well let's see... Chapter 5 is amazing for me, for everything that happens but also because there are many personalized interactions and choices. I can't say I have a definitive favorite, but it could come close⊠Also from the last ones I really like the 6.2.
Illy: Chapter 5 has so many details, so many things happen, it's hard not to be my favorite. But the last ones with the specific routes are so great that if I stay with the 5 itâs with the  pain of my heart to have to choose one.
Sher: I would say 5 also because in the end when a lot of things happen is when you remember the most

Illy: Las traducciones a inglés.
Sher: Hago fonditos
Athe: Los nudos narrativos.
Y mirar cuantas lĂneas me quedan todavĂa.
¿A qué personaje te pareces mås?

Pairing: SKZâs Chan x OC [Sieun] Genre: slice of life, slight fluff Word Count: 3,412 Summary: Sieun thought she wasnât playing hide and seek, but finds out later that Chan found her.
Warning: curse words. semi-proofread, not my best work tbh
oh, look another SKZ story with Bang Chan... lol oh well. anyways, this was inspired by Jerrilynâs Hide ân Seek, but then it came out differently than i had wanted and i just wrote on thinking i could bring it back to how i may have wanted it, but nope. so this is the product of it and itâs there. lol so itâs whatever as i did have fun, but it isnât what i really wanted for it. but yeah, happy reading and kthxbai, Admin Lia~
"Quick, hide me!"
Sieun heard a male voice announced in a panicked-like tone before looking up with a questioning expression. She spotted a familiar face and her lips quirked upwards as she wondered what her friend did this time around.
"What did you do, Jisung?"
"Nothing." Jisung answered as he tried to hide within Sieun's belongings.
"You have to have done something because you hardly hang out in the library and people rarely come to this side of it."
"Which is exactly a great hiding spot for me right now."
He grinned at her while shuffling around her things as he pushed her out from her desk and settled himself underneath it while bringing her back to cover him. Sieun had her own private-like table at a secluded area within the library. After hanging out here since her freshman year and doing a work study, she had gotten along super well with the librarians that they made this her spot. Of course, it wouldn't be when she graduated this year, but for the time being this area was hers and hers alone. It was a perfect place whenever she had to study or needed a sanctuary from everything else.
"Stay like this and act like I'm not here." Jisung instructed her. "And if someone asks for me, act like you don't know me."
Sieun didn't respond and continued her studying before she was interrupted. Jisung frowned believing that his friend didn't hear him and patted her thigh impatiently as he repeated what he had said before. Still, Sieun didn't react and Jisung pushed her out to pop out his head to glare at her.
"Did you not hear me?"
Sieun paused and looked down at him.
"You told me to act like you're not here and that I don't know you."
"Oh, at least acknowledged that fact so I would know that I'm not talking to air."
"Do you wanna get caught for whatever you did or do you want me to help you?"
"Alright, alright."
Jisung backed off as he returned back to his position while pulling Sieun's chair back into its place again. She smirked as she went back to her books before hearing another voice loudly muttering stuff. Jisung started to slightly freak upon hearing a familiar voice as he began tapping at Sieun's legs. She slightly kicked him to calm down and he stopped while letting out a quiet ow. Sieun didn't have time to laugh at her friend's misery as the other male's voice got louder. She frowned while trying to make out who was making their way back to her secret spot through the limited open spaces of the book shelves.
Sieun's eyes followed the stranger to be alert of his presence for when he rounded the last shelf and came to full view of her sight. Her whole demeanor became super confused when she spotted Sigma Kappa Zeta's Chan standing before her. Although she was a part of a sorority, but she was more low-key about her appearance and got all of her updates from her friends who were all from different houses if not her own. Sieun just didn't understand why someone like Chan was here and looking for her friend. Then it finally clicked a moment later. Jisung had joined Sigma Kappa Zeta just last year when her friend raved on and on about it after being accepted. Sieun had totally forgotten that fact.
"Oh, hi." Chan greeted her with an awkward smile. "Thought I would find someone else back here."
"Hi." Sieun greeted back out of politeness. "What kind of person were you thinking of finding?"
"Uh, a male that's part of Sigma Kappa Zeta."
"Sorry, just me a female who's not part of any sororities." She lied about being a part of a sorority.
"Wait. Aren't you a part of Nu Chi Zeta?"
"No. That's my friend."
"Chi Rho Theta?"
"No. That's another friend."
"Mu Beta Beta?"
"Nope. Another friend."
"Alpha Gamma Sigma?"
"Once again, no. That's my other friend."
"I feel like I've seen you before." Chan stated with a pensive look as Sieun shrugged like she had no idea what he was talking about.
"Yeah, I dunno."
Sieun knew. She had classes with him over the years, but didn't want to state that.
"How many friends do you have in a sorority that you're not in any of the ones that I've mentioned and which one are you a part of?" Chan asked with a puzzled look.
Sieun cast the male a similar look before responding not really telling him the whole truth again.
"Just those four, but why are you asking me about that? Aren't you looking for someone right now?"
"Oh, right. I am."
Chan let out a cough as he sheepishly looked off to the side of him before casting his eyes onto Sieun again who went back to her materials.
"Say," He began, "You wouldn't happen to know someone name Jisung, right?"
"Define which Jisung." Sieun remarked with her focus still on her things. "There's quite a few of them on campus."
"Oh, right. Um, his name is Han Jisung. He's a second year and he's a part of Sigma Kappa Zeta."
"Nope, never heard him. Sorry."
She cast Chan a wide smile in hopes that he would soon go away so that she could get rid of Jisung and return back to her own thing.
"Oh, okay. Well, if you happen to chance upon him in some way, tell him that Chan is looking for him."
"Which Chan? There's quite a few with that name, too."
"Bang Chan."
"Okay. Got it."
Sieun flashed him another smile as Chan partially got the hint.
"Okay, thank you."
Chan backed up, turned around, and was about to round the corner when he did a one-eighty and came back to face her.
"Why do you have your own desk at the back of the library?"
Sieun tried to not make a face at Chan's continuous questions of making conversations with her.
"Um, is that really important right now? I thought you needed to find someone?"
"He can wait. He actually has until the end of tonight before the game's over."
"What game?"
"Hide 'n Seek."
"Seriously?"
"Yeah. The fra-"
"Wait," Sieun held up a hand for Chan to stop talking, "Houses are not supposed to reveal their secrets unless the person is a part of it."
Chan shut up immediately with widened eyes. He then pointed behind him.
"I'm just gonna go."
Sieun nodded in agreement not wanting to say anything. Chan cast her one last smile before turning around and finally leaving. Sieun was about to go back to her studies when she was sudden pushed backwards having forgotten about Jisung's hiding underneath her desk.
"Were you hitting on one of my frat bros?" Jisung questioned her while sitting on his knees now as he blocked her from resuming her studying.
"I wasn't hitting on anyone and your friend was talking to me. Not me to him." Sieun clarified.
"So why did you lie that you weren't a part of sorority?"
"Was there a need for him to know that I was a part of one? I'm graduating this year and won't see him or you ever again."
She chuckled after saying that causing the male to pout.
"Hey, that's not nice. I thought we were friends."
"We were never friends."
Jisung gasped before a playful look cross his face that Sieun caught. She spoke before he could act upon it.
"Mess with me and I'll make sure to tell Chan where you're hiding."
Jisung stopped and groaned.
"Ah, always ruining my fun."
"Right. You're the one that came to bother me."
"Oh, I did, didn't I?"
Sieun narrowed her eyes at her friend.
"Why did you come all the way here when there were other places to hiding places?"
"Because you're here."
Jisung immediately shut up, but Sieun didn't probed further on that topic not wanting to involved with it.
"Whatever. Why don't you just run along and leave me alone?"
"I can't. I have to hide out until midnight tonight."
"Why?"
"Because it's part of the game. And the game states that I-"
"Ah, ah, ah," Sieun interrupted him by placing a hand over his mouth, "You can't reveal your house's secrets."
Jisung removed her hand from his mouth as a mischievous smile graced his face.
"I don't like your face." Sieun said with an unsure expression and shied away from Jisung.
The male frowned before brushing off his friend's words.
"Anyways, are you busy tonight?"
Sieun met up with her four friends, Sumin, Seorin, Chaewon, and Nayoung at CLOVER for dinner. While eating and talking about what they were gonna do tonight, Sieun found out that they were also given a small-like white placard like hers from members of Sigma Kappa Zeta.
"Wait, you guys have one, too?" Sieun asked in disbelief while bringing hers out. "Mine's from Jisung."
"Mine's from Seungmin." Nayoung stated as she brought out hers. "He gave it to me like last week."
"Oh, I got one last week, too." Seorin said as she showed hers. "It's from a kid I tutor named Jeongin."
"Hyunjin." Chaewon inputted while placing hers on the table. "He gave it to be like weeks ago in case he forgot."
"Oh, then that leaves me." Sumin piped up with a laugh as she flashed hers. "Felix gave it to be this morning."
"Did they say what it was for though?" Sieun questioned them with a frown. "I don't want to be associated with any of this."
"Sieun, you're a part of the Greek Life, you're always gonna be associated with it." Chaewon remarked with a laugh.
"I only joined because you guys did and didn't think y'all were gonna join different ones then I pledged to."
"That's just how things work." Nayoung deadpanned before casting them all a look. "This thing starts at ten. Are we all going?"
"Of course." Sumin answered. "Felix said that if I don't show up with this thing, then he doesn't get any points or whatever it is."
"He told you everything?" Seorin asked Sumin.
"No. He almost did, but I stopped him before he let out his fraternity's secret."
"So, you're saying if we don't show up, then the boys' won't get their points or something like that?" Nayoung inquired as Sumin nodded. "Yeah, something like that."
"Hmm, then Jisung's gonna get jacked shit. Serves that kid right when he almost got caught this afternoon when I was in the library." Sieun replied with a smirked.
"Why? What happened?" Seorin asked interested. "Is this that kid that bothers you all the time?"
"Yes, but his member, Chan, came looking for him and he confused me with all of y'all."
Sieun scoffed as she looked at all of her friends.
"Do I even resemble any of you?"
The other four looked at one another with a knowing look before all staring at Sieun.
"What?" She asked cautiously. "I don't like how y'all's faces look."
Sieun found herself outside of Sigma Kappa Zeta along with her friends. She didn't want to show up, but they dragged her over. Her friends still didn't respond to her questions and told her that she'll find out on her own if she came to the event at Sigma Kappa Zeta. She disliked all of this a lot, but she knew that somewhere down within her that she liked it even just a little. She won't admit it to them openly of course.
"C'mon, let's get inside."
Seorin hooked her arms with Sieun and began pulling her towards the house.
"Ohh, yeah, let's!"
Sumin joined in and hooked arms with Sieun's other side. Sieun groaned as she try to move backwards, but Chaewon came from behind her and pushed her forward. Sieun sighed knowing that she wasn't going to be able to escape any time soon. The quintet walked up to the door with Nayoung knocking on the door. Soon enough the door opened revealing another member, Minho, on the other side.
"Hel-Nayoung?"
His brows furrowed upon seeing Nayoung standing there.
"What are you doing here?"
"This." Nayoung answered as she held out the placard.
Minho took the card and frowned after reading it.
"How do you know Seungmin?"
"That doesn't matter. The others have one, too."
Nayoung ignored the male's question and instead motioned for the other four to present their cards. Minho reluctantly took them while seeming impressed by them. He glanced at all five of them with a charming smile.
"Ladies," He motioned for them to enter the house, "Welcome to Sigma Kappa Zeta."
"I thought you weren't part of a sorority."
Sieun heard from behind her as she looked over to see who it was and realized it was Chan. She was on Sigma Kappa Zeta's rooftop having chosen this spot away from her friends and not wanting to be surrounded by other people. She hated crowds and being stuck at someone else's place that she wasn't comfortable with. Also she thought that no one would want to come outside due to the cold weather. After entering the frat house, Minho informed them that they were allowed to roam the area, but cannot leave the premises until the event was over at midnight.
"I'm not." Sieun lied wondering what made him still think she was.
"Well, the only way you're here tonight is that one of the members had to have given you a placard, right?"
Chan walked closer to her, but kept his distance.
"Yes." Sieun confirmed. "What of it?"
"The condition of the invitation was that it was to be given to a sorority member."
"Aren't you exposing your house's secrets though?"
Chan ignored her statement and continued speaking.
"You're part of Sigma Theta Iota."
Sieun continued to stay silent.
"You're Park Sieun."
Sieun laughed it off not sure where he was getting at.
"Okay, and? What are you trying to get at?"
"Han Jisung invited you."
"Okay, and?" Sieun repeated not really getting it.
Sieun glanced up at Chan still staying put while Chan came over and squatted beside her. Sieun shied away not sure why he was so close.
"Is there something you want from me?"
Chan cast her a charming smile.
"I found you."
"Excuse me?"
Sieun seemed composed on the outside, but she was totally freaking out on the inside. She really hoped that whatever Chan was gonna say next wasn't what she was thinking it to be. No one knew. Not even her friends. Not even Jisung.
"Where. After. Love. Now."
Or so she thought.
"How the fuck do you know that?"
She wanted her tone to be more firm and fierce, but it came out more like a harsh unbelievable whisper. She couldn't believe that Chan had somehow found out about her hashtag project on Instagram inspired by a Thai music video. Let's just say that the project was related to Chan in a way without his absolute knowledge.
"I happened to noticed it during the class we shared a few months back when I saw it when I sat behind you."
"You were spying over my shoulder?"
"What? No. I more or less just saw you scrolling the hashtag and images and got curious."
Sieun turned away from Chan freaking out silently at the prospect that Chan now discovered the images she took of him and the overall set up for it. She could not believe he of all people found out. Then her mind went wild and wondered if everything that happened today was because of his doing. Like Jisung coming to see her at the library to lead Chan there and then later giving her the card. Her friends giving her funny looks when she mentioned Chan confusing her for her friends of different sororities. She groaned quietly at having being the last person to be oblivious about it.
"I gotta go." Sieun abruptly stated while standing up with Chan quickly following after with a puzzled look. "Wait. Why?"
"I'm not feeling well. I feel exposed. I just, this is weird and I don't know how to go about this. So goodbye."
Before Sieun could run off, Chan reached out and took a hold of her hand. He pulled her towards him and Sieun looked everywhere else, but at him. Chan found it cute, but he was more confused as he thought that now it was out in the open she would react differently.
"Sieun."
Sieun grew alert, but she just couldn't face him.
"Please look at me."
She contemplated on doing that. She didn't have to as Chan moved so he would be in her line of sight. She finally focused her attention on him.
"Alright, Chan. What?"
It came out more hostile than she had meant it to.
"Sorry." She apologized while correcting her tone. "Alright, so you know it's me, but don't get all cliche and whatever."
Chan chuckled at her words.
"Okay, but you're the one that was like playing hide and seek this hold time."
"I wasn't playing anything. You were never meant to find it."
"But they were such great photos of me although you did take them when I didn't know about them."
"You have a lot of photos of yourself circulating around campus okay. Don't think I'm some weird stalker or whatever."
"I never did."
"Oh."
Sieun then remembered that Chan was holding her hand and tried to shake his grip on her hand, but he held onto it firmly.
"Aww, I thought this was what you wanted."
"There's a difference between what I created with that hashtag and real life."
"So why not make the hashtag real?"
"You know I would die by like all your little fangirls or whatever."
"Which ones?"
"You really gonna play dumb when you have a whole entourage of girls that wanna get with you, right?"
"I'm not. I just never really noticed them until you mentioned it."
Sieun rolled her eyes while eyeing their held hands.
"Okay, Chan. You know now and I know now, but why are you still holding onto my hand."
"Didn't I say to make Where After Love Now real?"
"Bullshit. Please don't tell me that you like me, too?"
"And if I do?"
"That's some cliche shit right there."
"You do know that we've had classes over the years together, right?"
"Yes, but why asked me about what sorority I was in then?"
"I was just testing you."
"For what?"
"If you would tell me who you were or not."
"And why would I go and do that?"
"It would've made it easier to talk with you instead of having Jisung set this up."
"So Jisung did know and this is now cliche."
"I mean, one way or another, it was bound to be cliche."
Sieun sighed as she looked at Chan expectantly.
"Alright, Bang Chan, what now?"
Chan smiled at her knowingly before pulling out his phone and waving at her.
"How about a picture to commemorate our official status?"
"Official status? The fuck. We're not a couple or even dating."
"Not yet, but this can be the start of it."
"Wow."
She wavered for a bit.
"Could we like, not, do it?"
"No. We're definitely doing it."
Before Sieun could reject the idea again, Chan took a photo of their held hands. He let go only to type away on his phone. A moment later, Sieun's phone dinged. She knew that Chan had just tagged her with whatever he did on Instagram.
"Look at your phone."
"I'll do it later."
"Okay. Let's make more."
"I would rather hide."
"And then I'll seek you out."
"There's really no escaping from you is there?"
"Nope. Seems like you're stuck with me."
"Okay, well it's not bad. We just have several months with one another before graduation and then off we go to other things away from one another."
Chan rolled his eyes before laughing a second later.
"It's okay. We can talk about all of that when the time comes for it."
"I guess, but alright. So what do you wanna do?"
"Is it midnight yet?"
Sieun checked her phone and saw that there was still half an hour left before then.
"No."
"Alright. Let's grab something to eat and let Jisung suffer."
"Ohh, I like that. Let him stay and hidden."
The pair laughed as they got off the rooftop.

rockstars & runaways | part 6
Nikki and Kat go way back, but with his issues and her family history, finding their way back together is a long and rocky road. And with the rockstar life, whatâs the hurry anyway?
Fandom: the dirt
Words: 2.4k
Pairing: nikki sixx x oc
Warnings: implied smut i guess
Note: full disclosure this is a filler chapter and i tried to write it three different ways and hated all of them. this one included. iâve given up so go enjoy this mess before we move on to different & better things.
1980
Kat leaned against the bar and watched the band play, occasionally tapping her foot to the beat of the music.
It was her night off, but London was playing, so she had decided to stay. Plus, it was December, and even for LA it was getting fairly cold at night, so if she could postpone going back to her car, Kat didnât mind.
She was impressed with how much of a crowd the band was starting to draw, and she was pretty sure they werenât far away from starting to sell out weekends. It wasnât for their great chemistry, though. It was still evident that they couldnât stand each other, but apparently their music was hitting a nerve with a lot of people.
In typical London fashion, they ended their show by playing Public Enemy No.1 and throwing beer all over the crowd, which is why Kat hadnât opted to stand closer to the stage. She also knew better than to follow them when they headed of stage, because based on their antagonism toward each other, she knew it wouldnât take long until Nikki came back to get a drink at the bar.
âCan I get a beer?â Kat asked as she turned back toward Michelle, and the girl gave her a small nod before grabbing a bottle and opening it.
âHow long do you think itâll be before they kill each other?â Michelle asked as she placed the bottle in front of Kat.
âI give them two months tops,â Kat shrugged.
âSix weeks,â Michelle retorted with a raised eyebrow.
âYouâre on,â Kat grinned and Michelle gave her an acknowledging wink before going back to serving other customers.
In the last couple of weeks the Starwood had stayed consistently crowded after London played, which thrilled Gary but annoyed Kat as she just tried to drink her beer in peace. She ignored the level of chatter around her as best as she could, but it was harder to ignore the tall, skinny guy next to her as he bumped into her when trying to order drinks for him and his date.
âSorry, dude,â he apologized quickly and then went back to raving about the band to his date, and for a moment Kat seriously contemplated not waiting for Nikki.
It took another ten minutes before the rush on the bar died down, and even longer until Nikki finally took up the seat next to her.
âThat guy is a pain in my ass,â he huffed as he lowered himself onto the barstool, and Kat turned her seat to look at him.
âYou know you donât have to stay in a band with people you hate, right?â
âYeah, yeah,â Nikki sighed and thanked Michelle as she brought him a whisky without him having to ask for it. âWe rock though, so whereâs the harm?â
âMe bearing your mood swings,â Kat told him. âThatâs the harm.â
âOh, come on, where would your entertainment be if it wasnât for my complaining?â
âI can think of a dozen things. For one, watching you play without rolling your eyes every five minutes, now that would be more entertaining. Polishing these glasses,â Kat grinned and pointed behind the bar. âThe dumpster out back.â
âWhich one?â
âThe one on the corner. For glass.â
âYou think it has more perspective than me?â
âOh yeah, itâs going places.â
âLike where?â
âThe dump. You should try it some time.â
Nikki simply huffed in response and lowered his head. For a moment they were silent, and Kat watched as he played with his fingernails and took the occasional sip from his whisky.
âYou okay?â she asked eventually.
âMh?â Nikki asked and looked up, clearly pulled out of his train of thought. âOh, yeah. All good.â
Kat was pretty sure that it was not all good, but she also knew better than to ask. Instead, she excused herself to go to the bathroom and give him a minute.
When she came back, however, Nikki seemed to have worked through it just fine, judging by the redhead that had taken up her seat and was in the process of seductively whispering into his ear.
Kat suppressed the urge to roll her eyes and cleared her throat to announce her presence when she came close to them.
âOh, yeah, right,â Nikki said. âLeanne, this is Kat. Kat, this is Leanne,â he explained, clearly misinterpreting her gesture. After a moment he added, âWeâll actually be getting out of here.â
âYouâre having an afterparty at your place?â Kat asked, trying not to sound irritated. It had been a few weeks since she had first come to one of his parties, and she had been to most of them since, so she tried not to be offended that he hadnât told her about tonight.
âWell, itâs a private afterparty, if you know what I mean,â Nikki leaned in closer and winked at Kat.
Kat knew what he meant. It was not like she had a problem with his ever-increasing number of one-night-stands. Well, she willed herself not to have a problem with his ever-increasing number of one-night-stands. Kat had told him that she wouldnât sleep with him, and she was still convincing herself that she would hold herself up to that promise.
And it might have been easier if it wasnât so easy for her to be around him. There was something about Nikki that she felt so drawn to that she couldnât help but let most of her guards down in the process. She hated in how much of a bubble she was whenever the two of them were alone, because it was so much more irritating whenever she was pulled back to reality.
The bassist seemed to understand her in a way that no one so far had, and it wasnât easy for her to accept that this connection had to end eventually, too.
But before Kat could answer, Leanne whispered something in Nikkiâs ear that Kat couldnât quite catch, and then walked off toward the exit.
âWell,â Nikki said, with a cheeky grin that wasnât directed at Kat, âIâm off.â
Kat watched as Nikki got up from his seat at the bar and followed the redhead with a sinking feeling in her gut. She had always been jealous of people her entire life, but usually she was very good at pressing it down and accepting her circumstances. With Nikki, however, that seemed increasingly impossible, so she couldnât stop herself as she opened her mouth.
âNo,â she said simply, and Nikki turned around with an irritated yet amused expression on his face.
âWhat do you mean, no?â
Kat took a deep breath before deciding to push her better instincts away. âDonât take her home,â she told him.
Nikki didnât respond right away. For a moment, he simply eyed her before asking, âWhat?â
Kat had no idea what to tell him. She kept up the eye contact, and the longer she did the more Nikkiâs expression changed from amused to something a little more serious.
âDonât take her home,â Kat repeated eventually.
âAnd why shouldnât I?â
Kat swallowed before answering. âBecause I want you to take me home.â
Nikki didnât answer, but he didnât drop his gaze either. Kat didnât know how long they remained like that, a few feet apart from each other, staring at each other with postures that were so tense that they almost seemed rigid, but she knew that she wouldnât be the first one to back down either. It had spilled out now, so she might as well commit.
Before Nikki could say anything, Leanne showed up at his side again to complain why he was taking so long.
âChange of plans,â he told her after a moment without taking his eyes off Kat. âYou can go home.â
âExcuse me?â she told him, clearly annoyed.
âI forgot that I have other plans.â
Leanne clicked her tongue at him before turning around and leaving in a way that clearly suggested how pissed she was. Not that either of them had the capacity to notice.
Kat held her gaze on Nikki for a moment longer until she eventually broke into a small grin.
âOkay,â she said. âLetâs go.â
And with that, she broke the eye contact and walked past him to head to the exit.
Nikki only caught up with her when she was already outside, and by the time he did, he was already back to his cheerful self.
âSo, if I remember correctly you told me you wouldnât sleep with me?â
âA girl can change her mind,â Kat shrugged, not looking over at him as they started making their way back to his place.
âYou donât seem like a girl that changes her mind,â Nikki smirked.
âAre you trying to talk me out of it?â Kat looked at him long enough to raise an eyebrow and Nikki only innocently raised his arms in response.
After that they were silent for a while, and the next time Kat looked over to Nikki, he was wearing the same contemplative expression from earlier.
âOkay, seriously,â Kat started. âWhatâs going on?â
Nikki turned his heat toward her and waved it off. âNothing.â
âNikki.â
âI mean it.â
Kat studied him for another second before backing down. âOkay.â
It didnât take much longer until they reached his building, and Kat followed him up the stairs and into his apartment.
Being there without other people and a bassline loud enough to move her insides felt like an entirely different experience. All of a sudden the apartment was large and left way too much silence for her to fill.
So Kat stood off to the side and subconsciously crossed her arms in front of her chest while Nikki went up to his counter and poured himself another glass of whisky. This time he drank it in small sips rather than chugging the whole thing, and he used the time to eye Kat with a curious expression.
âYouâre nervous,â he determined eventually.
âI am not.â
âYes, you are,â Nikki grinned.
Instead of replying, Kat only clenched her jaw and avoided eye contact.
âDid you change your mind?â Nikki asked, this time a little more serious.
âNo, itâs not that,â Kat waved him off. âItâs justâŠ. complicated.â
âWhat is?â Nikki asked, but Kat only shook her head, so he didnât push it.
There was another silence until Nikki eventually spoke up again. âI hate the holidays,â he mentioned casually and threw back the rest of his whisky. âAlways have.â
âIs that why youâre being weird?â Kat asked and slowly came closer to the counter.
âPart of it,â Nikki shrugged. âWhen I was younger all the kids in my class used to show up with fancy gifts after the winter break, and I would just show up with a new shiner. Not exactly what I asked for.â
Kat dropped her arms and contemplated for a moment. âYou think Santa is nepotistic?â
âDefinitely,â Nikki huffed.
âSon of a bitch,â Kat muttered with a smile. âWe should do something against that.â
âLike what?â
âWe could go one of two ways. Either we get you a shitload of decorations,â Kat smiled. âOr we go burn someoneâs Christmas tree.â
âDefinitely number two.â
âI figured,â Kat smirked. She didnât know if Nikki was doing it on purpose or if he just had a natural way of putting her at ease, but her nerves had vanished almost completely. âLetâs put it on the list.â
âWhat else is on the list?â
âMh,â Kat contemplated for a moment and then started counting her fingers. âBurn someoneâs Christmas tree. Get furniture that doesnât smell like alcohol. Steal the sign in the hallway of the Starwood. Punch your lead singer in the face,â she grinned and moved a little closer to him, and then counted off the last finger. âAnd do this.â
She closed the distance between them with a final step and craned her neck up to look at him. Nikkiâs eyes were trained on her intently, but he didnât move. It looked like he was giving Kat room to change her mind at the last second, but she didnât intend to.
She pierced his eyes for another moment before finally moving in and pressing her lips to his. Nikki didnât hesitate before moving his hands to her waist, and when he pulled her closer, Kat almost felt dizzy. She was finally doing what she hadnât allowed herself to even think about for months, so now that it was happening she felt like it was pulling the ground from beneath her feet.
She instinctively moved her right hand to his neck and her left hand to his hip, and when Nikki tried to clumsily pick her up, she couldnât help but laugh into the kiss.
âShut up,â Nikki grinned before he finally managed to find a proper spot on her waist and pick her up in one swift motion. Kat wrapped her legs around his hips and focused her attention on his neck while he carried her to his bedroom.
When they got to his bed, they stumbled onto it rather than fell on it, and both of them couldnât help but laugh through the kissing.
âWill you take those off already?â Kat mumbled as she fumbled with the belt on his jeans, and Nikki grinned as he pressed sloppy kisses to her jaw.
âEager, are we?â he smiled and went to pull her shirt off, but Kat shot out her hand and grabbed his wrist before he could. She also pulled away from him to look into his eyes.
âThe shirt stays on,â she said and fixed him with an intense stare, and Nikki paused for a moment before nodding and moving on without question.
He pushed Kat onto the bed and hovered over her, showering her neck in a lot of sloppy kisses before moving down and taking off her pants in a few easy moves.
Kat was surprised by how easy he accepted all of her idiosyncrasies, and at the same time she wasnât. He kept surprising her with how well he was able to look straight through her, so for now, she was willing to ignore all the consequences of her irrational choices and just enjoy the moment.
âNikki,â Kat moaned and he moved up a little to look at her in question, and Kat couldnât help but grin at his expression.
She quickly leaned in and pressed a kiss to his lips before pushing him over so she could move on top of him. She knew she would probably regret this tomorrow, but what stood in the way of her enjoying it while it lasted?
Like she enjoyed trailing kissed down his stomach.
Or the way he squirmed under her touch.
Or the way he moaned her name.
