Invitation Au Voyage is a film that stays with you for a long time. The story involves a pop singer who dies, electrocuted in a tub of milk. Her twin brother/lover drains the milk into bottles, stuffs her body in a cello case, straps it to the top of his car and embarks on a road trip of the strangest kind.

— SYNOPSIS — After her father’s death, Renée comes back home, in Saguenay, for the funeral. Forced to empty the house of her late father, she comes across a gigantic mess, the man having been a hoarder. In the six following days, Renée will try and seek her significance, her own presence, in this clutter. / Une jeune femme dans la vingtaine, revient au Saguenay suite à la mort de son père. Fille unique, elle est donc forcée de vider, dans la semaine, la maison de son père, accumulateur compulsif (ou hoarder). Elle revisitera alors, au travers des différents objets cumulés, la vie de son paternel, tentant au passage de découvrir son importance à elle dans cette multitude de souvenirs.
