What I believe the Heathers Colours symbolizes:

I'm not sure if any of these are confirmed,maybe they are, maybe they aren't🤷‍♀️

So we all know the colours each heathers wear, McNamara wear yellow, Duke wears green, and Chandler wears red

Now I only just realized a few days ago why they chose those colors or the reason why they might

McNamara:

So for mac,some people say she is one of the nicest in the musical/film, and to me personally, mac has a lot of energy and creativity, and those are two of the emotions linked to the colour yellow, the reason why I'm linking this is that Mac once said "If I took a meat cleaver down the center of your skull, I'd have matching halves. That's very important", that is quite a creative way of saying," your face is symmetrical, that's important ", the yellow symbolizes her cautious nature.

Duke:

This one seems quite obvious, which it is, the colour green symbolizes envy, and Duke is jealous of Chandler, she envied the power Chandler has upon others. And the saying "green eyed monster", which belongs to Shakespeare, symbolizes jealousy and envy, so I believe the green symbolizes envy, mainly the envy towards Chandler.

Chandler:

The colour Red is associated with danger, Anger, Power, And leader. And Heather Chandler, was dangerous and had loads of power, she was the leader of the heathers, and commands the other two to do things (for example, making Duke lean over so Veronica can write on her back), Chandler had power over everyone and everything, She was also dangerous, she could most likely ruin your life in a flash, She didn't care about whatever happened to anyone else, and even faked a note to Martha, making her believe Ram wrote her that note, She is ruthless and is very demanding.
