A lot of the gameplay in Hellblade is framed through severe mental illness and I’m tired of people acting like these gameplay aspects are unnecessarily stupid or annoying, even those puzzles people complain about are her experiencing symptoms of her mental illness and if you don’t get it you’re never going to get it, her voices are exhausting and repetitive but that’s what mental illness is like, if you think a character experiencing symptoms of unrelenting mental illness that doesn’t conveniently let up when you need it to is all too annoying for you then Hellblade is not for you

Alone in the dark. “Follow my voice. I won’t leave you.” In the aftermath of events in Borgarvirki, Senua and Thórgestr navigate legacies and leadership, healing and moving forward.

Hi! I ignored poll results and am posting this first chapter on Christmas Eve instead of New Year's Eve. Merry Christmas if you celebrate that! Happy holidays in general to everyone!

This is chapter 1 of (at least?) 10 and is currently an unfinished WIP of over 20k. I'm determined to finish the big draft by mid-January, but December has been really rough, so I'm posting this prologue-esque beginning early!

Hello Thórgestr fans, I just found a video with all his lines of dialogue on YouTube and at some point it seems like Thórgestr wins the fight against his father, mocks him and banishes him from the tribe.

Is this part of an alternative ending that no one has discovered yet or just cut content?

Either way, more fuel for our AU with his happy ending 🥰
