Yeah I'm supposed to like this cos I did use to be this massive seiyuu fan/blogger back in the day but yeah....I'm and old-school oldfart who doesn't care about the new generation of seiyuu idols. Plus I never liked the novel nor the manga nor the yuribaiting😬Pass from me...!

Manga Recommendation

If anyone is in the mood for strong female bonds, I’d like you to check out “Seiyu Radio no Uraomote” or “The Two Sides of Seiyuu Radio”. Two highschool voice actors host a radio show where their public personas act all cute and get along but hate each other’s guts in real life. These rivals end up supporting each other in the ways they lack when they aren’t trading insults. 

What starts as an interesting dynamic quickly goes into a surprisingly gritty take on the idol industry as an introvert character struggles with wanting to be judge solely on her voice work but being forced to keep up a cutesy alter ego that sings and dances, getting stalked and having their personal information leaked online and invasions of privacy, the stress of overworking yourself, the heartbreaking desperation to become a hit before you fade into obscurity and become yesterday’s news and start to have a hard time being chosen for voice work.

These characters also do some very not straight things, but unfortunately it remains in the realm of subtext. One rival is constantly blown away by the other’s looks and voice. For how good it is, I think the lack of attention its gotten is criminal.
