The more I toss Yennefer of Vengerberg and Neve Gallus around in my head, the more I realize that I have a type. Sympathetic inversions of "ice queen" trope. Is she really mean or did you just do nothing to earn her trust? Women filled with emotion and dare I say working off emotional impulse and their care for [insert cause here] before they're driven by logic. They are logical and calculating and smart and way more professional and sophisticated than half of the cast and yes you would be dead without her, literally and metaphorically. They have oceans of love in them, it's just not for everyone to drink from. They're the warmest, blazing souls around but you actually need to work to get close enough to feel that heat because they owe you nothing and they know it.
