what were the things that you found most interesting about the Blue Beetle trailer?
Well, the most things that I found engrossing about the trailer is how they managed to pay justice to the comics in a way since I personally found 9 DC Universe Easter Eggs and references.
The first Blue Beetle trailer provides a wealth of information on Jaime Reyes' narrative, earlier Blue Beetles that have lived in this time-frame, and how Blue Beetle fits into the DC Universe. Although Jaime Reyes was the third figure to assume the identity of Blue Beetle in DC Comics history, Blue Beetle has been a superhero pseudonym since 1939. Prior to making his big-screen debut in Blue Beetle, starring Xolo Maridueña as Jaime Reyes, Jaime had made appearances in a number of animated TV Show episodes, animated movies, and video games.
Although nothing in the Blue Beetle trailer links it to the previous DCEU, it is also unclear from the trailer if Blue Beetle is a member of James Gunn's DC Universe.
1. Blue Beetle’s Trailer Teases DC’s The Reach
Jaime says in the trailer for Blue Beetle that "everything right now feels so out of reach." Despite the fact that this may just be an ordinary phrase, the words used here allude to important Blue Beetle antagonists from the comics—the Reach. The Reach are galactic conquerors that employ very cutting-edge technology to attack and seize control of worlds. They were first introduced as a part of Jaime Reyes' Blue Beetle history but retconned into the prior Blue Beetles storylines. The Scarabs were made by the Reach and dispersed to other worlds. The Scarabs' task at that point was to locate local hosts and train them to act as lieutenants in the Reach invasion.
It is impossible to predict how Blue Beetle's origin narrative will develop in the next DC movie because Blue Beetle's Scarab was retconned as a mystical relic during DC Rebirth. That being said, the simplest approach to combine all prior Blue Beetles into one fairly straightforward tale would be to tie the origins of Blue Beetle's Scarab to extraterrestrial conquerors who have been plotting to conquer the globe since the Dan Garrett Blue Beetle days. The Reach may make for fantastic antagonists in a Blue Beetle sequel, but it is unknown whether they will feature in Blue Beetle in any manner.
2. Blue Beetle’s Scarab Is Sentient (And It Talks)
Jaime Reyes played the lead role in Young Justice season 2, also known as Young Justice: Invasion. For many people, the Blue Beetle narrative in Young Justice featured the Reach as primary enemies and served as their first exposure to the character. The Blue Beetle trailer implies that the next DC Universe film will draw inspiration from Young Justice's Blue Beetle, including the notion that the Scarab is sentient and can communicate with Jaime. The Scarab will be spoken by a new, as of yet unidentified actor in Blue Beetle as opposed to Young Justice, when both Jaime and the Scarab had the same voice.
3. Dan Garrett’s Blue Beetle Costume
The first Blue Beetle, who was formerly known as Dan Garret, first debuted in Fox Comics' Mystery Men Comics in 1939. Decades later, in 1986's Secret Origins Vol. 2, the first Blue Beetle would be introduced into the DC Comics canon, however it was based on the Charlton Comics version of the character. Dan Garrett, who came into contact with the Scarab while on an expedition, served as the first Blue Beetle according to the current DC Comics canon. Major mythology implications stem from Dan Garrett's Blue Beetle outfit in the Blue Beetle trailer, which indicates that superheroes have been around in this planet for some time.
4. Kord Industries Makes Its DC Movie Debut
One of the most significant fictional corporations in DC, along with Wayne Enterprises, Lex Corp, Hold Industries, and Queen Consolidates, is Kord Industries. Ted Kord, who worked as Dan Garrett's apprentice, was the second Blue Beetle in the current DC Comics universe. Ted Kord did not use the Scarab while he was a Blue Beetle, nor does he possess any superhuman abilities. However, the Blue Beetle trailer implies that Ted Kord's company, Kord Industries, was researching the Scarab because of his considerable wealth. It is unknown who will play Ted Kord in the movie Blue Beetle or whether the second Blue Beetle will ever make an appearance.
5. Ted Kord’s Blue Beetle Costume
Ted Kord's Blue Beetle outfit is another that can be seen in the Blue Beetle trailer. Although Ted Kord's Blue Beetle outfit is quite similar to Dan Garrett's, Ted Kord never used the Scarab to give him superpowers or any unique abilities. The Batman allusion in the Blue Beetle trailer is enhanced by the fact that Ted Kord's interpretation of the Blue Beetle is more similar to Batman than it is to Jaime Reyes' Blue Beetle abilities. If Ted Kord does appear in Blue Beetle, it is unknown whether the future DC film will include the second Blue Beetle in action.
6. Blue Beetle’s Villain Is Victoria Kord
Blue Beetle: Graduation Day, a new Blue Beetle solo comic book, was published by DC Comics in advance of the publication of Blue Beetle. Although the latest Blue Beetle comic is set in the standard DC Comics chronology, it features ideas and characters from the impending film, as is customary when a major DC film is ready to come out. This includes Ted Kord's sister Victoria Kord, whose motivations were unclear in the comic. The Blue Beetle trailer, however, very certainly establishes Victoria Kord (Susan Sarandon) as the film's antagonist because she wants to recapture the Scarab that has since fused with Jaime Reyes.
7. Blue Beetle's Trailer References Batman (But Which One?)
When Jaime comments in the Blue Beetle trailer that the Ted Kord's Blue Beetle devices resemble something Batman might use, Rudy (George Lopez) responds, "Batman's a fascist." This conversation demonstrates that Batman lives in the world of the Blue Beetle. Which reality does Blue Beetle exist in, though? Blue Beetle is "a marvelous part of the DCU," according to James Gunn (via DC), despite the Blue Beetle movie's position as canon in the new DC Universe is not yet known. The Batman in question is the yet-to-be-cast character from The Brave and the Bold if Blue Battle occurs in Gunn's DC Universe plan.
8. Blue Beetle Keeps Jaime Reyes’ Comic Book Identity Twist
The fact that Jaime Reyes' family is aware of his secret identity lends a special touch to the Blue Beetle story. Secret identities sometimes play a significant role in the tales of DC Comics characters, such as Clark Kent's spectacles, Batman's use of Bruce Wayne as the real mask, etc. Jaime Reyes, however, does not need to keep his heroic exploits a secret from his loved ones. From what I think according to the Blue Beetle trailer, Jaime's family will witness the very moment the Scarab combines with him, indicating that he was not even given the chance to conceal his abilities.
9. Ted Kord’s Blue Beetle Bug Ship
The Blue Beetle Bug spacecraft, Ted Kord's heroic vehicle, is another significant Easter egg that I found in the Blue Beetle trailer that alludes to him. The Blue Beetle bug ship's existence is proof that Ted Kord was a superhero once upon a time in the Blue Beetle universe, albeit when and for how long is still unknown. It is not a coincidence that Blue Beetle's spacecraft resembles the Owlship from Watchmen, since Nite Owl was influenced by various DC characters, including Blue Beetle. The Blue Beetle spacecraft was designed by Ted Kord and does not use any technology from extraterrestrial life, just like the rest of the second Blue Beetle.

Some shouting under the cut about the random 2 episodes I first saw of Moominvalley (Monster Fish & Night of the Groke). Short version: I was mildly in favour of the new series and hoping it wasn't terrible because these books have been a beloved, formative fixture in my life for a *cough* number of decades; I was not expecting it to steal my entire heart in 60 minutes flat. Loved it, fan mode activated, watching the rest now.
I don't know the artist but there's a wistful, fey Sigur Rós thing going on with the theme tune that has a fittingly Nordic sound and strikes a reassuring note of 'not too cute, not exclusively childlike' which is also borne out by other tracks in the episodes themselves. I think I read somewhere that the songs are all originals composed for the series? If so that explains why they're so apt, and means the sentiment in each one is 100% intentional, which is great. It also means you’re not distracted by any other associations, the songs are completely specific to the show.
The animation is beautiful - I was watching in HD and the backgrounds and landscapes are glorious, and the texture of everything close-up is a wonder; everything's vivid and immersive and slightly dreamlike but anchored with solid, lived-in details. I can see the splinters in the veranda, the frayed bits of Snufkin's scarf, the scruff of fur on each Moomin. It all adds to a sense of time spent, thought given and love expended on the project.
Fantastic, thoughtful voice casting all round, such a relief not to be flinching with disconnect when anyone spoke. (Will Self as the Muskrat, who the hell thought of that, absolute genius.) The character designs are all spot on, not cartoonish at all, clearly and deliberately in debt to Tove's illustrations but with sensitive digital texture.
Well played with the Jaws references in Monster Fish, I cackled at Moominpappa's fingers clawing down the wooden crate. Plant invasion plot from Finn Family Moomintroll = win as well. (The episode did have a slightly jumpy filler quality, though, especially compared to the Groke one).
OH THANK GOD THEY GOT SNUFKIN RIGHT. I was more worried about that than anything else in the whole show, I've hero-worshipped that little vagrant since I was seven years old and it would have been an absolute dealbreaker for me if he'd been cute, simplified, sidekick-ish or just unrecogniseably affable. But no, there he is, entirely himself: a kind, wary loner with a dry sense of humour who loves his friend and found family but needs his space, yet still knows how to have fun. He has exactly the right combination of warmth and caution, empathy and reserve that makes him such a wonderful, subtle character - they're using all of the books, not just the early 'fun' ones, and I am so happy and relieved about that. His voice is excellent - quiet and careful - and the choice to cast a non-English actor works perfectly to set him slightly apart from the close neighbourhood of the valley.
They also got the Groke right, oh my god, it's a good thing I'm not still seven. Some of those sudden breaths of ice-fog and off-camera whining noises were full John Carpenter, they absolutely nailed the books' combination of horror and pathos and I'm so glad they went straight to the Moominpappa at Sea interpretation where she simply covets light and warmth and can't help what she does. That last look into her headlamp eyes was equal parts terrifying and poignant, just as it should be. A++, awesome Groke, would run from but also feel desperately sorry for.
Little My is a horrid little beast, an agent of mayhem, a demon child who should never be trusted with matches or secrets and this is exactly as it should be. I love her.
Comic strip shoe joke reference, I'm delighted. I hope there's more easter eggs like that. And it's funny, too! I'm glad there's some silent physical comedy in there as well as the emotional and atmospheric stuff, that's completely in keeping with the stories.
The ice-skating sequence in Night of the Groke is one of the most purely joyous pieces of animation I've ever seen and it makes me absurdly happy every time I watch it. It's just ridiculously sweet and affirming and affectionate towards its source material and if I wanted to sell someone on this series in a nutshell I'd just show them that.
#i did warn you all i was going to ramble about moomins#moominvalley#moominvalley 2019#i really really like this show you guys#it's so apt and good and soft#nostalgia and formative reading are powerful forces#tove jansson#moomins

harf a lyfe one to half a li...whut
Now with most people and gamers I too really want a half life 3 but I honestly think the entire series needs a reboot, I mean half life 2 - half life 2 episode 2 make absolutely no sense story wise coming off half life 1 lemme break the stories down:
Half life 1 - you're a scientist called Gordon freeman who works in a top secret facility known as black Mesa which deals in all sorts of research from how to not leave an unattended microwave casserole in Gordon's reach to studying and researching an alien world and its creatures known as XEN. after a lengthy opening in which you ride a transit system to get your department known as "anomolous materials Lab" you put on your trusty H.E.V suit and make your way down to a testing chamber where a yellow crystal from the XEN world is awating being tested on by some large fuckin machine (plot twist this particular specimen was donated by the ever mysterious G-Man)
anyway after testing begins on the crystal everything fucks up and the whole place starts to go haywire with green bolts of electricity zapping everywhere from the machine and crystal thus forcing portals from XEN to open up everywhere within the yuuuuggee black mesa facility. after god knows how long you awaken in the destroyed test chamber making your way back to two scientist buddies (Dr Kleiner and Dr Eli Vance) who tell you to ‘‘gordon get to the surface and let someone know were stranded down here’’ to which you a scientist with no training in firearms (assumption) now fight your way through the black mesa facility killing all sorts of aliens from the headcrab to the vortigaunt.
after fighting through various offices and maintenance areas you come across the military who have infiltrated the facility with the goal of wiping out everyone and everything to cover up this mess of microwave casseroles and aliens. so now Gordon Freeman a man with no firearms training or tactical knowledge (again this is an assumption) fights his way through the military and aliens and maybe a few scientists coz they're quite fun to kill especially when you get to hear them say ‘’DARGGGG’’ or ‘‘HUWEGH’’ whenever you kill em.
after a long and arduous fight through soldiers, big green tentacles, giant blue thingys called gargantuans and assassins and what for some reason looks like a bloody military training base in area 51 you reach the LAMBDA complex where you reunite with fellow scientists and get teleported to the alien XEN world where once again you FIGHT through killing aliens of all sorts including a huge crab called a gonarch with one gross ass egg sack on its underside (turns out its mommy headcrab) you finally reach the climactic battle to stop the aliens invading! a giant battle with the XEN overlord called the NIHILANTH (btw this thing looks like a giant fucking baby with a banana peeling head that opens to show his weak spot), long story short you fuck his day up and bring an end to the XEN invasion of black mesa BUT when you save the day you are transported by the G-Man into a transit train where he blabbers on about some nonsensical shit and then gets off into a portal and vanishesssss putting you, the Gordon Freeman in some sorta stasis until ye be needed once again to smaench things with a crowbar.
(as for the G-Man fuck knows what his story is all i really know is he’s a man in a blue suit wielding a briefcase with black mesas logo on it and he can be spotted EVERYWHERE in black mesa as little easter eggs watching Gordon progress through the facility)
HALF LIFE 2:
Gordon is awoken by the G-Man in a place known as city 17 somewhere in Europe in what looks to be some strange ass future where an enemy known as the combine has taken over the world and now governs everything, with their evil leader Dr Breen! (who was actually the old administrator of Black mesa for some reason) look imma cut this one short coz this is where its get weird and makes no sense to the first half life game. coz its about saving the people of city of city 17 and starting a revolution in which you eventually topple Dr Breen only to discover there’s a higher power in another alien world or summin, basically the next two games after this focus on escaping city 17 after the citadels reactor is about go boom destroying the whole city and then onto fighting through the outskirts of the city in the woods to reach ‘‘white forest’’ a resistance base where ya launch a satellite at a giant portal which now looms over city 17′s ruins so that you may close it and save da wurl from aliens. the for some reason theres a shipwrecked boat called the aurora borealis which is housing some amazing technology which needs to be destroyed or summin and thats where valve has left the half life community ever since.
(my point was how the fuck does a game go from, secret facility incident with aliens entering the facility and killing shit to some almost post apocalytpic dreary future where yer old boss is in charge of earth and theres dudes in gas masks everywhere called the combine... i do truly love these games and their stories but they make no sense after the first game.
#half life#half life 2#valve#black mesa#video games#gordon freeman#XEN#i really felt like just breaking this down

Marvel’s Loki Episode 6: MCU Easter Eggs and Comics References
https://ift.tt/2UfmlQd
This article contains Loki episode 6 spoilers, and potential spoilers for the wider MCU.
The Loki season finale (and thanks to the mid-credits scene we know it’s a “season finale” not a “series finale,” thank Odin) is here, and it’s got bigger ramifications for the Marvel Cinematic Universe than we ever could have imagined. Loki episode 6 may be light on Marvel Comics Easter eggs (and after last week’s egg-fest, don’t get greedy!), but it’s BIG on characters and concepts that we’ll be dealing with and talking about for years to come.
Let’s get to work and see what we found in Loki episode 6.
The Opening
The opening space sequence is a clear homage to Robert Zemeckis’ Contact. The 1997 sci-fi film begins with a similar CG pullout from Earth into the known universe and beyond while we hear clips of historic speeches and songs. These fade away until there is silence, and then the camera reveals the universe has been inside the protagonist’s eye. As Loki’s opening tails off, we hear Sylvie shout “open your eyes!”
This isn’t the first Contact homage we’ve seen in the Disney+ MCU shows either, as WandaVision embraced one during Monica Rambeau’s transformation sequence as she forged through the Hex. And it’s not the only sci-fi movie reference we get in the episode, either!
What are Those Voices?
There are plenty of famous quotes from the MCU all through that wild, cosmic opening, but as far as we can tell, none of them are especially significant to the events of this episode. There are also some famous quotes from real life figures. They include:
“One small step for man…” – Neil Armstrong
“How dare they!” – Great Thunberg
“My dream…” – Malala Yousafzai
“We have fought for the right to experience peace.” – Nelson Mandela
“I will rise.” – Maya Angelou
“We think of time as a one-way motion…” – Not identified by closed captioning but possibly Carl Sagan
“Motivated by women throughout the world.” – Also not identified by closed captioning
This beginning features several prominent songs from throughout human history. The opening of Beethoven’s “Für Elise” pops up noticeably yet briefly, and we think we heard strains from Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake.
The majority of it, however, is set to the strains of The Harry James Band’s version of “It’s Been a Long, Long Time” a song that is heartrendingly familiar to Captain America fans as the song that plays over Avengers: Endgame’s perfect final moment. The song first popped up in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, when Nick Fury was playing it in Steve’s apartment (clearly, Steve had plans for this song), but here the “Long, Long Time” in question is referring to the lifespan of series villain, “He Who Remains,” better known as…
Kang the Conqueror
(quick disclaimer: for simplicity’s sake, we’re referring to He Who Remains as Kang in this section, but for reasons that will become clear, there’s some nuance there, so just bear with us)
Kang’s backstory as laid out here also pays tribute to the idea of “The Council of Cross Time Kangs” which is both an assortment of variant Kangs from assorted timelines and also the people who battled/defeated them…and thus took on the mantle of Kang in their respective timelines. Does your head hurt yet? Because…
There was also an “Interdimensional Council of Reeds” from Jonathan Hickman’s run on Fantastic Four. Like Kang, various Reed Richards from various realities met up via portals and decided to help out areas of the multiverse in need using their combined intellect. Initially, they were mostly killed by a bunch of Celestials. These days they’re back, but led by the corrupt Reed Richards from the Ultimate Universe (the Maker). Things are going to be absolutely bonkers when the MCU finally brings us the FF.
Despite Jonathan Majors having signed on to play Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, he’s never actually identified as such here. In the credits, he’s the Miss Minutes-approved “He Who Remains.” The closest we get to him being called Kang is when he mentions that he’s been referred to as “a conqueror.” He also mentions that he’s been called a “ruler” which could very well be taken as a reference to the character’s time as Pharaoh Rama-Tut.
When Sylvie takes a swing at Kang early on, he teleports and ends up laying down behind them in a smug pose. This looks to be a reference to his first comic appearance (1964’s Avengers #8), where the Avengers find him casually laying down in mid-air.

Who is Kang the Conqueror? Powers and Marvel Comics History Explained
By Jim Dandeneau
Kang isn’t rocking any of his familiar comics looks here (although the color scheme is vaguely appropriate), but at least one of the “miniatures” he uses to illustrate his story appears to be.
He Who Remains
While the “He Who Remains” we meet here is definitely meant as a Kang variant of some kind, the character exists independently of Kang in the comics!
He Who Remains has only made a handful of appearances in Marvel Comics, with the first (and most substantial) being in 1976’s Thor #246 by Len Wein, John Buscema, and Joe Sinnott. There, it was Thor and Jane Foster entering the “Citadel at the End of Time” to meet He Who Remains, and they have ALMOST a similar moment to Loki and Sylvie in that one wants He destroyed while the other wants to listen to what he has to say.
The comics He Who Remains was later revealed as the founder of the TVA (just like we see in the MCU) and the actual creator of the Time-Keepers. And while he shares Kang’s fondness for purple, he was never defined as a Kang variant in the comics, and in fact was pretty explicitly not that.
Secret Wars
The Multiversal War idea that plays so heavily throughout Loki also ties into Jon Hickman’s Avengers run where the multiverse has been collapsing onto itself due to the machinations of the Beyonders. As entropy destroys everything, various Earths are pitted against each other and are given the choice of destroying the other or both dying. While this led to a single world run by Dr. Doom, Reed Richards was eventually able to overtake him and bring back the multiverse.
Also with Hickman’s run, there was a moment of Captain America coming across a group of Kangs from different eras (regular Kang, Iron Lad, and Immortus) and explaining that allowing so many to die in order to save so many more is immoral. After the inspirational speech, Kang simply told him, “No one here…cares.”
Ravonna Renslayer
Well, we share the FDR High School pen mystery with this episode, that’s for sure!
After Renslayer decided she wouldn’t be steered towards a complicated future with Kang in the pages of Marvel Comics, she betrayed him and then assumed the name “Rebecca Tourminet,” which we see printed on her diploma back on Earth when B-15 is introducing the TVA Minutemen to the Real Her.
Interestingly, MCU Renslayer doesn’t appear to be aware of Kang or He Who Remains just yet, so perhaps there’s more interesting things coming down the pipe for these time-tossed lovers.
The Ending
“You know you can’t get to the end until you’ve been changed by the journey,” Kang tells Loki and Sylvie. It seems as though Kang has a surprisingly thorough understanding of what makes a good story. This could potentially be a shoutout to Dan Harmon, creator of Community and Rick and Morty, the latter of which Loki showrunner Michael Waldron wrote on. Harmon is famous for constructing “story circles” to help young writers understand the proper beats of storytelling.
The final shot of a confused Loki looking at a massive (and mostly comics-accurate) Kang the Conqueror statue is definitely a reference to the ending of the original Planet of the Apes (a franchise which also has some wacky timeline shenanigans of its own) which gives us a huge twist by having the main character come across the Statue of Liberty and piece together the truth of his world. Then again, it could also fit with the Tim Burton remake where the protagonist comes across an ape version of the Lincoln Memorial.
There’s also a serious Invasion of the Body Snatchers vibe to that ending, with a dazed/crazed Loki trying to explain the impossible to a skeptical audience who clearly don’t believe him.
We wrote in more detail about all the implications of that ending right here.
The Post-Credits Scene
We can’t help but feel that the mid-credits scene that literally and explicitly spells out in actual words that Loki season 2 is happening is a meta-joke at the expense of sites like Den of Geek, who make a big deal out of “explaining” every Marvel post-credits sequence. To which we say…yeah, cool, fair enough!
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });
Spot anything we missed? Let us know in the comments!

Thunderbird’s Episode 5. Edge of Impact
youtube
Air date: October 28, 1965
Previous episode: Terror in New York City
Next episode: Day of Disaster
================================
Here, the plot seems far simpler than the previous ones I looked at this past few days.
It Looks like Father (Jeff Tracy) was once in a Rock Band, a bass player, and his old friend. Tim Casey, the singer from the band, stopped by at Volcano Island to pay a visit to his old buddy, the bass player, Jeff Tracy, from the band they were in, back in the day.
The two have come a long way since then... Jeff Tracy has a lot of kids, lives on a volcano now, has secret stuff (Ancient Chinese Secret) all of which is the highest of high tech. Also, Tim Casey, the Front Man from the old days, also has come a long way since those old garage band party days, and he has connections in Hollywood, where the Rock Stars come from (Britain).
Together, Rocket Science Engineering Enterprise at Volcano Island HQ, Jeff Tracy & Company (Church) along with Hollywood Entertainment King Pin Tim Casey, devise a plan to rule the world (Hollywood).
The plan starts at Hollywood along the 405 Freeway, Capitol Records Building, where Amp Guru will devise Highest of High Tech (Church grade tech) to sell to Capitol Records Execs, all backed by Jeff Tracy (Father), and sold to Capitol Records by Tim Casey & Company (British Invasion of 1964 Representatives “Meet the Beatles” attack method) sales persons, as a way to get in the door. There goal is to take the tower that is the Capitol Records Building along the Edge Impact on the 405 San Diego Freeway, and includes a massive fake car crash that will be used as a distractive measure once Tim Casey and the Beatles are inside of the Capitol Records Building to sell the executives there Bill of Goods from the Church of England, comes with Emergency Personnel already in place at Rampart Division, not far away, to handle the details for the Fake Accident on the 405 San Diego Freeway Distraction that is necessary to overpower the Capitol Records Executives while they are looking at Whiz-Bang Recording Tech provided by Jeff Tracy & Company from Volcano Stage & Engineering Magic Productions HQ at Amp Guru Inc. ... Volcano Island Chapter.
There is a underground Reverb Chamber beneath the Capitol Records Building, where Frank Sinatra’s Microphone is still mounted on a stand ready to use, to this day, in Echo Cave where sound from the command control room above is pumped into the Echo Reverb Chamber beneath Capitol Records so that real, genuine cave quality echo effects could be recorded onto the music we love from the Capitol Records Recording Engineers. Back in the day when Jeff & Tim were band mates, and loved to do covers of all of their favorite music made by Capitol Records, they aspired to one day be blessed with access to that legendary Echo Reverb Chamber, a one of a kind, real, genuine purposefully built, echo chamber beneath the Capitol Records Building. There, in that chamber, is where they will make the switch arrangements by keeping the Capitol Executives in there captive long enough that it can appear as if executive change occurred slowly. That part is depicted in the Thunderbird’s scene when the men trapped in the tower used some jet packs to fly down, but there was that one short moment when we did not know that they had made it out alive. that is the representation for making a personnel change of executives at Capitol Records, replacement therapy, in the confusion that will develop when the 405 all goes to hell as Rampart works there magic there.
========================================
Later, in real-life:
Jim Morison jumped out of the window of one of the upper floors of the Capitol Records Building in around 1972... I drove the car home... black Ford Convertible with Push Button Transmission after I could not find him on the street below, I think he rolled into the storm drain along the curb side.
I was ten years old.
Ted Nugent included that in a song called Free For All, the part about the Kamikaze.

3:35 pm:
Formerly known as “Rocketdyne” and officially known as “Rocket Dynamics”, this facility know called Santa Susana Field Labratory is about as close to 1965 Volcano Island as is possible.
That place, is the reason why Charles Manson is said to have killed Sharon Tate. All is fake about that, Charles Manson simply rode his motorcycles and Dune Buggies too close to Rocketdyne, so, they killed him, and put a fake Charles Manson on TV, portraying a imprisoned murderer, in a plot that contains the kind of secret communication methods that work, are effective for advancing terrorism on the television, from SAG news media, to millions of terror soldiers at their homes, who are further updated at the churches they attend.

===
Chapel in the Canyon, on Topanga Canyon Blvd. is such a place where top movie and record company moguls went to church back in the day. It’s nearby Porter Ranch in Chatsworth California, and is the secret birthplace of Vans Skateboard Shoes, which were available for free to some, were custom made to order, from a tent that was pitched across the street from Chapel in the Canyon. I had to pay for my custom made Vans Skateboard Shoes, they cost about $12 per pair at the time, were not cheap.

3:53 pm:
The history of this place will prove to be invaluable in a quest to find truth about why we are having Corona Virus (COVID) today.
Hope Town: Simi Valley California, was my stomping grounds in 1965. It was literally my front yard at a time when it looked a lot like the photo at this link.
That place, is about one and one-half miles from Rocketdyne. I went to school, between the two.
Take that, then head for the lowest of the low ground, at Hwy 111 in Palm Springs Ca. where there is a house with a pool that is made of glass, and the glass is a fish aquarium for big fish in the Low Desert. Palm Springs is Below Sea Level, an important symbolic fact for solving problems.
https://www.rsrpd.org/simi_valley/historical_landmarks/history_of_corriganville_park.php
I have a feeling Hope Town could show up in Thunderbird’s episodes symbolically, if it’s not already in the Edge of Impact.
==============
4:14 pm:
True story from early 1970′s, at a time when I became involved with circumstance that was beyond my control, help captive by British and Canadian Musicians:
We went to Capitol records many times. I went too, a ten year old... I was told I was a very good singer, I loved to sing, always have, so, these people controlled my life at the time.
I wound up inside of that echo chamber at Capitol Records. stranded inside of there for three days, it was a weekend, no one was there, except me in that cave, forgotten about, and left there.
I could hear some construction sounds next to Capitol records where underground parking was being dug under the building next to Capitol Records, so I did everything I could do to make a lot of noise, maybe they could hear me and get me out of there.
Later, still making noise, that Frank Sinatra Microphone got turned on, some music was played in the echo chamber, then, the door opened, the people were not friendly, there was a soda bottle with some soda in it, so, I threw that onto the people who came in the door, and ran my ass off to get out of there through the door that had finally opened up.
It must have been Monday morning.
Find out when the underground parking was installed at the building next to Capitol Records to get an idea about when the place was hijacked by British Invasion. The building to the west is my best guess where that was done.
You might be thinking I am trying to explain sexual abuse, but I am not doing that, there was no sexual abuse, there were other reasons I was trapped in that echo chamber, but I don‘t remember how I got in there, except that I was always curious, I might have just got into the elevator and went to the bottom while I was there at Capitol Records... I did go all over the place in there, so, I think I just got myself stuck in the echo chamber somehow... that’s how I roll.

4:50 pm:
Some speculation:
Remember “Millennium Bug” ?
It was a digital problem, could end civilization as we knew it, we were told by SAG news media.
That was all terror comm buried in hype, and it also made a prophet for some people who were set to profit from it.
Digital... “Two One’s” is the direction the speculation goes. A peace sign with your fingers, 1970′s style.
Then, those two WTC towers are the “Two Fingers” that are the “Two One’s” that are the “Millennium Bug”, in pieces.
So, approaching year 2000, the millennium, there was a lot terror comm disguised as hype and fear, AKA: Terror.
Somehow, in order to see the speculation as I am, you need to make Quantum Leap from “Bug” to “Egg” somehow, I don‘t care how, I don‘t know how, but you have to get from “Bug” to “Egg” and have a explanation for why that could leap could happen.
Then, you take the same ingredients that worked to take over the Capitol Records Building in 1970′s, and apply them to White House Take Over at about 2000, maybe 1999 is when that happened. When did W. Bush get there? That could be the time I am looking for.
The speculation here has to do with some kind of major, under the RADAR sort of changes that occurred at the White House at one of the “White House Easter Egg Roll“ events there, maybe the 1999 one, maybe the 2000 Easter Egg Roll at WH is when some big changes occurred, terror take-over, one that no one has noticed yet.
That is why you need to get from “Bug” to “Egg” somehow.
Support for this speculation is contained all over the place in the form of video at US WH, Congressional Events, and even some from SCOTUS events, where we see that there are news media people crawling around on the floor all around where the congressional events are taking place, or Oval Office events where the Oval Office is crammed with about fifty reporters all with camera and microphone arranged all in super chaotic excess at those places and events.
They are all armed with nitrous oxide rectally holstered tanks of gas, in there, controlling the event with fog on invisible gas.
That’s not the point though, I think most of that is a way to show the rest of the terror soldiers around the world that the “SAG is In the House”, “Large and In Charge”.
So, then, if Easter Egg Roll Take-Out (try the Happy Family combination dinner at Hong-Kong Cafe, 6th street, Grants Pass, feeds 4 to 6 people) happened in say 1999, then, that red airplane on the Thunderbird’s episode takes on a new character role symbolically, becomes the “Little Red Corvette” made famous by the Artist Formerly Known as Prince, and, can be seen in a Black & White version (sketch) in the previous Thunderbird’s Episode, Terror in New York as it goes whizzing by telling people on the street to get out of the way, as Scott is bringing in the Thunderbird 1 Scout Craft to land on the road nearby the Empire State Building, a National Monument being gently moved out, in favor of some new, modern, structures in the neighborhood there. Modern looking Black & White Corvette speeds by in 1965 puppet show, if you blink, you miss it.
So, that Red Arrow Eggspearimental Airplane becomes Little Red Corvette, sent by Prince, but, he’s not Prince anymore, he is just a black & white emblem sketch, happens to know about little red Corvettes. and sings a song about it.
(remember that it’s all symbolic, is communication tools ahead of time)
Now, the speculation: All of that leads up to a point when Google took over the White House, so far, it looks like 1999 is the best place to say that happened. From that time forward, pre-arranged screenplay was filmed at Congress, White House, SCOTUS, other places, in order to present them on Twitter years later. Twitter had been planned to be a SAG terror leadership platform disguised as social media platform since the time of America Online had reached it’s hay-day, in around 1990 -1994 ish, all planned ahead of time, all they needed by then was increase in processor speed, in RAM capabilities, and Hard-Drive capacity. Everything else was already there in 1990, so, it’s conceivable from that point to see and know what the future of computing power will be in ten year intervals, for instance, adjustments made to the master plan based on how well the tech actually advanced vs how well they calculated it would ahead of time. And, since the terror bastards already were in control of all of the electronic engineering by the 1980′s or even before that, they could push the advance of technology to meet the demands of that master Google/Twitter plan. while stifling advance of counter terror technology, or, at least finding ways to slow down advance of tech that could be used to stop the terror from being detected. So, there goes that Red Arrow airplane again, playing yet another symbolic role in the Thunderbird’s episode, that of the kind of high tech that could spoil plans of terrorists from Britain, SAG, Google, Vatican.
So, video’s were produced from 1999 onward. They feature hundreds of thousands of false news stories, the most important to consider may be the ones that feature Donald Trump, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, US Congress, SCOTUS, others in US Government, however, those may not turn out to be the most important to identify. It may be better to see how and why Brexit is so important to the UK at l O Downing, so that more can be learned about House of Lords and Vatican.
SAG, is only the middleman.
Twitter is their vehicle.
Google is like a master to it all.
US Constitution is in the Cross-Hairs.
Easter Bunny is a hare.
The British Royalty are all Heirs to the Thrown.
The Throw Before the Toss already took place. So did the Toss.
Much of the answers to questions not asked are contained at Capitol Records Building take-over that resulted from British Invasion of Music Industry, 1964, the year of New York World’s Fair, and unveiling of The Unisphere ...
(this goes on forever from that point, could keep connecting British Dots eternally as it all is contained inside of Russian Mother of all Hoaxes from that point)
The speculation is that Easter Egg Role of 1999 is a major turning point in the history of USA.
6:02 pm: End Speculation Report.
==
Seriously, the people who took over the White House and US Congress are right here in this room, the people in the audience and the ones on stage, which should lend some explanation for the conditions we are facing today globally... the State of the Union, is not what it used to be.

I still don‘t know how to get from “Bug” to “Egg” but I know there is a way, and that way is like a key that opens other doors, that’s why it’s important figure it out, it fits locks in the Russian Mother Hoax.
So, more speculation:
It’s agreed by many that women have superior memory than men do. They can recall stuff that happened, tiny details, fifty years ago... men don’t know what happened this morning, unless there is some egg stain on their shirt, then, the men know they had some eggs for breakfast.
Theory for that:
Women have the same reproductive eggs they were born with throughout their lifetimes. That is one of the big differences between men and women, So, all of those eggs, I suspect, contain a little bit of extra brain power in a place where men don‘t have it, cannot relate with it. So, events take place, the women remember better, because the memory is stored in the reproductive eggs, a little bit, multiplied by a lot of eggs. The women draw memory from the eggs they were born with throughout their lives. Men can‘t do that. That is my theory about that.
Maybe the Bill... is about that, Danny Devito and eggs somehow fits with a Veto and the memory of a woman, somehow, to get from Millennium Bug, to White House Easter Egg Roll.
Clinton. Hhmmmmmm.... Oval Office...
it’s a can of worms, a Pandora’s Box, wrapped in an enigma in a presidential Cryptogram.
Even if I did figure it out, still, no help will come to Oregon.
Please send help to Oregon.
Food for thought:
=======
7:04 pm:
What if it’s a “Two Millennium Bug” disguised as a “One Millennium Bug”?
need to get from there to “White House Easter Egg Roll” and have an explanation, those are the rules. has to have explanation that works.
Then, “Jesus!” happens at the White House on Easter, 2000 years later, to make Millennium Bug, with eggs that don’t don’t last a lifetime.
It’s digital: O O
The WTC part is: l l
It all starts to fit together now.
(see Jumpin‘ Jack Flash lyrics from yesterday’s post when the Empire State Building fell on top of the SAG Reporters heads, to make):
“ I was crowned with a spike right thru my head”
Then, use that idea, to make something like this:
Q Q
When you put the One’s, into the Zero’s, thusly:
l l
Those...
go in these...
O O
To make these...
Q Q
From the Digital part of the Millennial Bug, after you play the turn-a-round. it’s a blues number, have to turn it around backwards and upside down to see what gender it is. I did that, came at it from both ways, wound up with two “ l l ” for WTC part, and wound up with “ O O ” for White House Easter Egg Roll of 1999 part (could be 2000) and I ended up with two of these “ Q Q ” a pair of Alpha Breasts, when you look at them with Cracker Jack Secret Decoder Ring, a Way-Back Machine attachment, and a Russian Mother Hoax Fractal Viewer (speculum) attachment to the decoder ring.
End Millennium Easter Sex Christening at NYC White House: 7:30 pm.

Additional Bonus Extra:
The two parts made a baby, it’s a girl baby, is the “Future Mother of All Money”, the US Treasury, and the US Federal Reserve, two Alpha Breasts. They are useful for feeding the terror army, all of the Children of Father Christmas, and that whore, the Russian Mother Hoax, the “Capitol Wreckers”.

8:21 pm: Local update:
I don‘t go outside lately, it’s too dangerous, people waiting there at the Monroe’s all the time, they have listening devices everywhere hidden, even inside my dental work is implanted listening device I can‘t shut off or control in anyway, other listening devices are underneath my house, tossed under there, can‘t get them out, the terror bastards make sure that I know they will run me over, again, when I walk on the road to the mailbox, where only the bills come, and some junk mail.
I only went out one time today, once yesterday, once the day before, etc, just to go get mail, have a quick look around, listen to the neighborhood, then come back home. I get some satisfaction knowing that the terror bastards are sitting in their cars for so long, just waiting all day for me to go outdoors so they have a chance to shoot, or run me over, or gas me, or set-me up for fake crime, or some other terrorist bullshit they like to do all of the time. Otherwise, I am only sitting here by the door with very uncomfortable arrangement with a makeshift desk composed of a dining chair with a small table on that to make a small desk area for the computer to be, at spot in the house where I can see the most windows, and am close to the front door for when they use a key to come in here that the Sheriff passes out to all of the terror cells.
For five years or more, that is all I can do, if I go outside, they are right there, deployed within a few minutes, ready to strike. Meanwhile, all of the terror army is free to do as they please outside, can do yard work while spying on me, or projects at the neighbor houses, walk around if they want to, makes everything look perfect when federal investigators come to town, all they see is people doing the things that people do. Looks normal, just like home town vibe should look. The federal people don‘t see a foreign military in uniforms from Russia, and they don‘t see anyone wearing a hijab, so, all looks good, there must not be any terrorism because there are no terrorist uniforms being worn with big sign emblem that says: “Acme Terror Army”.
That won’t happen.
Federal investigators look around for Movie Style Terror, where everyone has a uniform, or a backpack bomb riding around in Toyota trucks with fifty caliber machine gun on them... but, if they wait long enough, sometimes, that fifty caliber does come out, they use that for shooting at Boy Scouts of America, sometimes, at the Jim Sigal Automotive Center.
I went to the mailbox. it’s quiet, there are some embers where the Monroe yard waste fire was at, and the Monroe Offensive Surveillance Travel Trailer window above the trailer hitch has the drapes opened, and there is bright light inside there.... that’s new... they never open the drapes on that, and usually there is only a small light making what looks like someone is watching television in there.
Three items in the mail, Centurylink Bill, Car Insurance Bill, Medical Insurance, Bill.
It’s been raining all day, is drizzly now.
That’s it for local update. no help has come, there are no signs of helpful people.

8:55 pm:
More about Thunderbird’s Episode 5:
Beyond what I said above, which is all very rough sex reading, hurts, is not pleasant, is that I think those colored Thunderbird’s with the numerical order from Vintage TV, and/or bobbj77, maybe others, are part of the Time Warp Terror. I think it’s possible that the color episodes are reproduction, sort of, maybe the original Thunderbird’s studio was taken-over, all of the sets and puppets used again, for more contemporary productions from stolen sets and equipment, or some other explanation for making new Thunderbird’s episodes in around 1990′s... I don‘t have much to say about it, is something I only thought about today a little bit, so, more to consider, have to start over...
The terror plans are in them, so, old or new, that does not change.
As far as that outcome goes, there is more:
The: Q Q made from Digital Millennium Bug WTC “ l l “, and WH Easter Egg Role “ O O “ is still there.
That is only two parts to make the Alpha Breasts at Federal Reserve and US Treasury.
There needs to be one more part, to satisfy Trinity Rules.
So, there is the truth about what already happened to consider for that, and that is the terror army includes a lot of kidnapped children who were trained after their parents were either killed or taken as slaves, so, that is who the Alpha Breasts are feeding, a lot of Orphans who are terror soldiers, have no choices, no one will help them, the entire school district was hijacked all over Oregon.
That makes those two, the Christian Father and the Russian Whore, the parents of a lot of orphan soldier children who are supported fully by the government accounts, very sophisticated systems of falsifying digital record keeping of all kinds, based at banks, and inventory transaction records at retail stores, all faked to look as if people are paying for the things they have, when it’s all free to them, is rations and sustenance, same as conventional army’s do, but is hidden with digital magic.
There needs to be a invisible component addition to the O and l characters, besides the Q.
I think it’s this:
V
The Pope’s Pointy Hat turned upside down. The Pope’s Flying V. That way there is a Trinity, and part of the explanation is going to be all of the compounded news about Transgender over the past twenty years, makes a situation with the “ O “and the “ l “ that gender roles don‘t matter any more, so, that makes for a weird Father, Son, Holly Spirit Trinity situation, where the O is the Russian Mother Whore, the Son is the Daughter ” Q “ Future Mother of All Money, and the Father, is that “ l “ playing a Pointy Hat Guitar Flying V, Gibson, 1958, through stacks of Marshall’s perpetually.
How to arrive there with a way to show it, is a different task for a different day.
(throttled again, “Post Video Button” is disabled, Tumblr turns it off, won‘t work, can’t just put a link to Joe Cocker Official Music Video of: “You can leave your hat on“
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfgwrdYUQ2A
When they do that, there are no guarantees that you are seeing the video or other links that I post here, it could be changed out by Google to some Anal Pope with Your Son video... only make me look like the bad guy, it’s the Christian Way, to blame others, and lie. That is exactly what Saturday Confession is for.
That video seems to be the connection to the V component. The terror comm has checks and balances that have to match so that they know the comm is genuine, and from where the communications are derived from, in order to know what to do when the orders are read.
More about the Orphan’s who are supported by the Alpha Breasts Q:
I did not explain that above exactly correct, it needs some polishing up, so, this will help with that:
You can wind up with a Synthesizer in the band, a Digital Synthesizer Keyboard Player who joins in with the Drums, Bass, Lead Pope Ax, and Front Man Singer.
So, enter the realm of MOOG Music, makers of synthesizers, a employee owned company.
There, is where Roger Waters and David Gilmour can be found on top of a Pyramid, at Amp Guru HQ.
So, Pink, is the name of all of the Orphan terror soldiers, they are trained to do and assist with murder, but are Orphans.
All of the Pink’s at the Orphanage, are housed, clothed, fed, supplied, armed, all of their needs, millions of Pink’s, are fed with that Mother of all Money, Q Q. The “Orphanage” is any home of either Canadian terror family cell where a kidnapped US Child is placed, or, a SAG leadership home where the terror children are trained as “Directors” for orchestrating the repetitive falsification of activity within the town, all of the towns people appear to be doing normal activity, but it’s all an act, is for cover and scouting, doing the terror take-over from within false reality, someone has to direct all of that, every last detail of every moment of each day, of all of the professions, all orchestrated to look as if it’s all just democracy with capitalism.
They turn into MotherFuckers here. It gets weird. If you go in that direction in the Russian Mother Hoax Fractal, you wind up at the storm drain where Jim Morison fell into after he jumped out of that window at the top of the Capitol Records Building, out front on that street it’s on, there is a big storm drain, or was in the 1970′s, but in the 1990′s, there, out comes Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the Orphan‘s, after training is complete. The Mutant Turtles look just like their new mom, Thunderbird 2, from the front view when you have a closer look, so, this direction goes deep in the Mother Hoax of Lies. That’s why I am going this other way, to show you this instead, it’s another way to talk about all of the Pink’s at the Amp Guru Pyramid, there are many ways used to talk about terror soldiers of all kinds. Considering that I learned the hard way, did not go to terror training like so many others did, please consider that I don‘t have all of the answers, only what I figured out so I could get some help to stop what I explain here.
MOOG
M other
O f
O rphan
G angsters
It’s not just symbolic, MOOG plays a role in the terror, same as all of the music manufacturers and music stores do, all are Vatican Choir, a establishment that is more than a thousand years old.
(if you think I am able to make this up and show connecting dots like these that just happen to all connect the way they do, you are a nut, a danger to yourself and those around you, just go back to reading Muslim numeric algorithms, the Christian terror might let you live if you keep doing their cover work for them)
======================
10:23 pm: reminder:
1974 Pope Paul was assassinated at the Vatican, the available information say he died some other way in 1978, it’s Gnosis, is cover for what happened in 1974 after 33 days, to say the 33 and one third RPM that happens afterwords, when the Vatican was hijacked, and everything about the place changed, as the new management took control of the hundreds of millions of Christian People around the world. The new management uses the old history to advance their new Christian way of doing Crusade work after 1974.

The thing that is shutting off the “Post Video Button“ is coming from Symantec Norton 360, they call it LifeLock now, changed the logo a while back, a pop-up window shows up hidden behind the Firefox Browser windows as I write, it says: “Stay safe and secure online...” or some shit on he pop-up while they put bugs in the computer, through the Centurylink DSL network.
====
Another walk outside was uneventful, however, some observations are noteworthy.
445 Steve and Lindsey Bell terror cell is dark completely for about a week, very unusual to see that. As you may recall, there was a night when I encountered some terror soldiers arranging a net at that end of the driveway last week, at least one of them lost their head in a sword fight, and I encountered the loud and clumsy terror newguydeadmotherfuckerwaitingtohappen at 520 who was shouting at me to get away from his fence when I walked home after the sword fight. That was the last time I saw activity at Bell terror cell at 445. maybe that was Steve Bell who I fought there.
There was absolute silence outside for a few moments, until the Monroe’s water well pump noise started up, I think it’s fake sound through some speakers, sounds very loud, as if the pump is completely dry, whining, worn out, it whistles sort of, can be heard fpr a long way. Otherwise, no traffic sounds from the freeway, or other roads, or any other kind of sound, but a few drops of moisture from the trees onto wet ground.
Some signalling from Chartrands at 376 Jackpine has progressed over the past week in the form of some Christmas lights on the house, which have been a popular favorite for use as alternative language since their invention. Chartrands usually use those icicle kind that hang from the eave, they have digital control, can do many signaling statements with the way the lights twinkle. So, they were set to do what they do last week, then they added a string of stationary red more old style lights to the icicles, both were turned on and lit up. Tonight only the red ones are on, the icicles are not on, and the usual Chartrand Porch Light is not blaring a beacon of brightness out into the night as it has for many years, so, something has changed at Chartrand terror cell too.
Other similar communication with lights is at either 520 or at 560, I can‘t see where the lights are at, maybe on a shed at 520... a string of orange lights went up last night, is some kind of communication to passers by.
Freebergs at 535 is also participating in the Christmas light communication, best I can say about that activity is that it changes daily, tonight is a whole bunch of lifgts all around the whole house and garage there, but last night was fewer, and they have been all turned off for a couple of days after the driveway sword fight, which is the reason I am interested in Christmas light communications, the sword fight, and the identity of the terror soldier who attacked me there is what I want to know. The neighbors all know exactly what happened.
Older communication with the local neighbor Christmas lights went like this:
First, there was some rumor, or Russian lie from the local authorities that I am a Jewish man, and that was the reason I explained that the terror is Christian based, I learned about the rumor, or lie, and played into it a little bit by selecting some Jewish words to use, I had a lot Jewish friends while growing up in So Cal, so, I used what I knew to learn more about that lie.
So, between the Freebergs at 535, and the Myers at 560, I noticed that when Freeberg uses a particular string of blue Christmas lights, way out in some bushes at the roadside, then, that is when the Myers would run a whole house worth of solid blue old style lights around the whole house. If Freeberg’s did not use that small string of blue ones out by the road, then, The Myers lights changed to all colorful ones, like they are using now, all colors, but with special arrangement illusion at that front door, makes the door look like it’s always wide open for some reason, maybe they painted the door black or something.
So, the assessment was the Juseph Myers was pretending to be the author of this page, and helpful people were lured there by the local authorities who were saying that I am just a angry Jewish man who hates Christians, or something like that, with perpetually additional more Russian lies all stacked on top of one another, for confusion, which somehow works real good as cover for terrorism, and some blue Christmas lights for Hanukah, is just the kind of confusion that is effective for religious terrorism. That all happened before Monroe’s moved in about 4 years ago, or so.

This from Eastwood Guitars at 12-21-2020 8:10 am is the best version of Clyde Baum Signiture Model I have seen yet.
It says it’s a Peter Hook model bass, but I don‘t think there is such a person by that name who plays bass. There is Clyde Baum of 333 Jackpine, terror bastard who takes a lot of credit for things I have done to stop terrorism.
That one pictured there has componants symbolic of the giant Razor Slide Contraption that Clyde is sometime in charge of moving around from place to place for SAG ClubMed murder parties, where kidnapped victims are forced to ride a razor that is about twenty feet tall for entertainment of the SAG members who attend the Junket parties.
That yellow and black is the same that is on the bumper of the flat bed truck that is used for hauling the razor blade slide, and that knob scratch guard has a razor vibe to it also. The pick-ups are sort of split at the magnet parts.... besides that, I know that Clyde Baum works along with the Eastwood local chapter of Justin Trudeau Canadian terror command HQ at the Hitching Post General Store in Hugo Oregon a couple of miles away from here, and portrays Peter Hook for a different Bass they make called “The Hooky Bass“ where they even use a photo of Clyde from many years ago to advertise the thing.
Razor Slide, Clyde Baum, the truck they move it with, and Justin Trudeau are all there in one advertisement from the terror bastards at Eastwood Guitars.

Sigyn MCU Headcanon - Part Three
This is a continuation of my personal canon-compliant Sigyn headcanon which I would like to write into a fan fiction but it would take way to long. So here are the highlights.
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part 7 | Part 8 | Part 9 | Part 10 | TL;DR
Avengers Assembled Season One Episode 5 Thru 8 (ish?)
I haven’t actually decided how many episodes this season would be. I mean, it’s going to be a short season like Agent Carter, so anywhere from eight to thirteen. There are a lot of side plots that I’ve put into it to make it a full, complete, story (one of the reasons I haven’t written this yet, urk, why do I do this to myself???).
Janet van Dyne is going to be introduced, along with Hank, and I’m not entirely sure who else. I want to create a proto-Avengers team, i.e., how the Avengers Initiative got started. Of course, Janet will name it at some point.
The overall plot as it is revealed is that Kendell is a Kree who has decided to take advantage of current political upsets in his part of the universe to stake out a claim for himself. He’s basically setting up Earth for a wide-scale invasion by the Kree. It’s not like they didn’t do it before, amiright? So he’s gotten his little fingers into the US government, foreign governments, international corporations, and is basically making sure that when the fight comes to Earth, there will be no fight at all.
Now, here are the events of the rest of the season as pertains to Sigyn’s plot-line. She tries to play herself off as a product of a secret, now gone, all erased, Australian super soldier project. Everyone is like, yeah, okay, sounds legit. But Peggy is too smart for that and realizes that Sigyn is an alien as well. Sigyn asks Peggy not to tell anyone.
Peggy: “If you are alien as well, then surely you must understand this technology. Can you create something to help fight him? Boost our own technology?” Sigyn: “Perhaps I could. But where I am from, we have a King, and he made a treaty with the other empires, that worlds such as yours should be left to advance at their own pace. None of his subjects are to interfere with this.” Peggy: “Kendell didn’t seem to get the memo.” Sigyn: “Just because he refuses to follow the law does not excuse me breaking it myself. And as far as I can tell, he has actually done nothing to advance your sciences, that would not be in his favor.” Peggy: “But he is interfering. You’re going to do nothing while he breaks the very rules you’re adamant should be kept?” Sigyn: “Of course not, I will do what I can to help. I can give you what I know of his culture and what tactics he might use. Basic explanations of his science. But do not ask me to give you secrets that your world has yet to earn.”
So, yeah, Peggy is wary of Sigyn because she won’t just tell them how to build a weapon that will just end this. I mean, she understands Sigyn’s point, but we’re talking a full-fledged invasion is emanate. Surely that counts for something in breaking the rules?
Later, during a scene where Kendell is garnering more support for himself at some fancy party, he confronts Peggy, laughs in her face at what she is trying to do. He basically down-talks all of the now introduced Avengers members, pointing out their flaws (yes, I’m going there with Janet/Hank).
Kendell: “And Sara Smith, you know she’s not human, right? Did you ever stop to ask yourself why she’s here, alone? What could she have possibly done to get banished from her world?”
Peggy works through this, there is no way Kendell is going to break up the Avengers before it’s even gotten off the ground. Over the next few episodes she is able to basically help each Avenger get to where they need to be to be the hero’s she knows they can be.
She confronts Sigyn about what Kendell said.
Peggy: “He said you were banished, but I know well enough that being banished from somewhere doesn’t mean you did something wrong—” Sigyn: “I murdered a high ranking political figure.” Peggy: “Ah… did he deserve it?” Sigyn: “Not particularly.” Peggy: “You’re going to have explain this to me.” Sigyn: “As I said, my world has a King, and he has two sons, Princes of the Realm. My mother is the royal physician (Eir, as seen in Dark World, yay easter eggs in background expo dump!) and so my sisters and I grew up in the palace among them. One of the princes, my friend, well, he’s prone to… mischief.” Peggy: “Okay, I’m following.” Sigyn: “The events Kendell is taking advantage of, is a cease fire between his people and another empire (Kree/Xandar from GotG). My king invited representatives from both sides to a summit in order to get true peace talks started (it took a long time for the peace talks to get sorted out which makes sense, all things considered). There was one particular general of Kendell’s world that, well, you’d call him a complete arse.” Peggy: “I think I can see where this is going.” Sigyn: “The prince decided he wanted to play a trick on the general. It… did not go as planned. The general died, in the middle of tenuous peace talks, at the hands of a prince. To say that the war was ready to start anew, this time with a third player, would be an understatement.” Peggy: “You took the blame?” Sigyn: “I know the prince well enough and how he operates. I could easily provide details of the general’s death while also spinning it as more of an accident than anything. The situation was defused, and everyone wanted to… sweep it under the rug. Of course my King knew the truth of what I did for his son. Which is why he punished me for my crime by banishing me to this planet for a hundred years.” Peggy: “That hardly seems generous.” Sigyn: “He did take my magic from me, um, my advanced personal technology, but he left me my strength so that I might defend myself if needed. And of all planets, yours is quite benign. I could easily blend in here. I was actually doing quite well until I met you.” Peggy: “I have that affect on people. But a hundred years?” Sigyn: “We live five thousand, give or take.” Peggy: “Okay, so this is a slap on the wrist.” Sigyn: “As you say.” Peggy: “And this is the same King who told you not to interfere with our growth as a civilization?” Sigyn: “Yes. I know what you’re thinking, why should I maintain this loyalty to a King who would allow me to pay for his son’s crimes?” Peggy: “Crossed my mind.” Sigyn: “It was because of that loyalty, to my King, to my friend the Prince, and to my fellow citizens, that I did what I did. I kept the peace talks from dissolving, saving untold numbers of lives. I protected a man whom I hold dear. And all it cost me was a hundred years of my considerably long life, cut off from those that I love, thrown into a world that is just as likely to toss me on a slab and dissect me as they are to welcome me. My loyalty to my people is all that I have right now. I hope you can understand this.” Peggy: “Yes, yes I can. I won’t ask you to betray your loyalty again.” Sigyn: “Thank you.”
Later on, there is a short exchange where Sigyn mentions that she does have someone waiting for her back home. Peggy assumes it’s the prince. Sigyn corrects her that no, it’s a royal guard named, uh, Theo (Theoric). He’s a good man, she loves him, and he will likely be the first to great her when her banishment is up (oh, poor Sigyn, if you only knew).

Invader Zim: 10 Things Only Fans of the Series Noticed in Enter the Florpus
If you grew up watching Nickelodeon's Invader Zim, chances are you're a cool person with a twisted sense of humor... and repressed trauma. That's because Invader Zim, despite being a kids' show, is absolutely morbid and dark even compared to the likes of Cow and Chicken, Samurai Jack, or the first three seasons of Spongebob Squarepants. It's no wonder Invader Zim only lasted two seasons in Nick.
RELATED: The 10 Best Classic Cartoon Network Shows, Ranked
Still, the utterly insane kids' cartoon gained a cult following which even warranted a belated Netflix film, Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus. It was a dream come true for us fans of the screechy evil green alien. Creator Jhonen Vasquez even included some homages to the canceled cartoon, something only fans could've chuckled at. Here are 10 of those moments in Enter the Florpus.
10 GAZ'S GAME SLAVE/VIDEO GAME ADDICTION
We all know Gaz, right? She's the cool punk goth girl of our dreams who's also a gamer girl. While Enter the Florpus made her slightly less hardcore compared to the cartoons, her character is still pretty much intact. The biggest evidence for this is her fixation to her Game Slave 4; it's basically a parody video game consoles in Invader Zim.
Keep your eyes peeled during the early moments of the movie and you'll see Gaz busy with her Game Slave 4 device. It's a faithful nod to the episode "Game Slave 2" of Invader Zim, where Gaz lined up at the video game store to grab herself a copy, only to be cheated by another gamer.
9 ZIM'S "WHAT?" DIALOG
The Dib-monkey is a worthy nemesis to the evil genius Zim. Throughout the show, the two's shenanigans (as in Zim's attempts to conquer the Earth and Dib's attempts to stop him) have made for entertaining exchanges. Then, there's also that one moment in "Mortose der Soulstealer;" the two sworn enemies simply had a meme-able miscommunication with Zim repeatedly saying "what."
RELATED: 15 Most Radical Cartoon Episodes Ever Aired (And 5 That Never Made It To Air)
Such a profound and dramatic exchange between the two was recreated in Enter the Florpus where Zim couldn't hear Dib's threats and vows of retribution over the cacophony of the crowd. It's a scene which ought to put a smile on the faces of anyone who's ever watched the show.
8 THE TALLEST'S LOVE FOR SNACKS
The funny thing about Invader Zim's portrayal of aliens is that it's hilariously similar to human conventions. Apparently, the Irkens are vain creatures who value height... above all... no pun intended; which is why their leaders are bluntly called The Tallest. Apart from height, they also love invasions and... snacks.
Almost every appearance of The Tallest shows them eating donuts and drinking soda. Thankfully, the movie stayed faithful to the junk food obsession of The Tallest. We can see the two of them eating their favorite snacks and drinking soda while talking badly about Zim.
7 PROFESSOR MEMBRANE'S ARMS
During the first few minutes of Enter the Florpus, hardcore fans would easily notice Professor Membrance's redesign. His gloves were made longer and they now cover his whole arms and his lab coat was made thicker. Additionally, it seems the creators retconned his past: Membrane claims to have lost both his arms as a child thanks to sharks.
RELATED: 10 '90s Cartoons That Need To Be Rebooted
Oddly enough, the Invader Zim show portrays membrane with at least an intact upper arm. They're even visible in all of the episodes he's in. The movie, on the other hand, shows his arms both gone all the way to the shoulder. So, he's either lying about the sharks or the childhood part or he replaced those arms himself. Either way, best dad ever.
6 ZIM'S PARENTS
Speaking of parents, Zim has his own to match Dibs'... well, not really. Zim's actually just built his own robot parents to appear as a normal stinking Earth child with a family. They can even greet Zim when he returns home from school and at one point, were modified to be able to attend a parent-teacher night.
As a tribute to Zim's evil genius, Enter the Florpus shows them once again with their favorite line, "welcome home son". They only appear briefly, however, but it's enough to make your nostalgia sense tingle.
5 GIR'S WAFFLES
One of the unanimously favorite episodes of Invader Zim is that one awesome filler "Zim Eats Waffles". It's the one where Gir makes some soap-flavored waffles for Zim and makes him eat it while Dib watches in secret. Zim, being a good master, eats the waffles with reluctance and disdain.
RELATED: The 10 Best Nickelodeon Cartoons, Ranked
You'll be pleased to know that there's a reference to this in Enter the Florpus. During the Dib training/Zim planning montage, Gir can be seen with his specialized waffle-maker cannon. It fires out cooked waffles and even has a syrup dispenser inside! It's not much, but the waffles are there alright.
4 TAK'S SHIP/DIB'S TROPHY ROOM
Tak was a one-off character in Invader Zim but came down as one of the most memorable. She's also Irken and came to Earth to steal Zim's job. In all respects, Tak is a case study of what Zim would have been like if only he was competent. Even so, Tak failed and her spaceship crash-landed back to Earth; this left a gaping suspended plot point in the show.
Luckily for us, Enter the Florpus ties up that plot point. Dib repairs Tak's ship which he hid and kept in his dad's garage in order to stop Zim's plans once more. The ship even has a British accent, seemingly a nod to Tak's fluctuating British-American accent in the show. Now we can sleep easy knowing what Dib did with the ship.
3 ZIM'S EXAGGERATED COMPUTER
Here's a fun fact: it was Johnen Vasquez himself (Invader Zim's creator) who voices Zim's computer. You know? The one Zim uses to operate his home-base and the one he also orders around when he's planning. As it is, that computer's also a character in itself given how exaggerated it answers Zim sometimes... all the time, to be exact.
RELATED: 15 Most WTF Things That Happened In Invader Zim
Since Zim's house is still intact, Computer is also back and he's grumpier than ever. When Zim and Gir started laughing maniacally in the toilet, Zim asks Computer to laugh with him only for the latter to reply irritably that he doesn't want to. What a buzzkill.
2 MOOSE=EVIL
Any longtime fan of Invader Zim will know that for some reason, the showrunners have this inexplicable phobia with moose. They even seemingly voiced this out with one episode of Invader Zim titled "Room With a Moose". It's literally what it sounds like which happens to be bad for the humans in Invader Zim. Somehow moose are evil; dooo not question Zim's flawless logiiic!
Enter the Florpus intensifies this fear of moose but in a cuter manner. Zim introduces a new character named Mini-Moose who also happens to be his most powerful superweapon ever. Zim even used Mini-Moose to teleport Earth into the flight path of The Tallest's ship. Don't be fooled by the cuteness, it's evil!
1 GIR'S TANTRUMS
Adorable as Mini-Moose is, there can only be one aggregator of fan favor: Gir. Gir is everything to the franchise. His dysfunction and penchant for chaos give the show more than comic relief. Sometimes, destructive as he is, Gir does have an irresistible side. It's when he does an infantile tantrum that gets Zim every time (by annoying Zim into submission).
Thankfully, Gir hasn't changed at all in Enter the Florpus. He occasionally still breaks down into a noisy bawl every time Zim rejects his plans for food. This time around, Gir weeped uncontrollably after Zim rejected his suggestion of ordering a million pizzas, rolling around in them pizzas, and then turning into a giant pizza. Understandable.

The original Might and Magic series ended with the closure of the 3DO Company. The rights to the Might and Magic name were purchased for US$1.3 million by Ubisoft,(1) who 'rebooted' the franchise with a new series with no apparent connection to the previous continuity, starting with the games Heroes of Might and Magic V and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic.

Gameplay(edit)
The majority of the gameplay takes place in a medieval fantasy setting, while later sections of the games are often based on science fiction tropes, the transition often serving as a plot twist. The player controls a party of player characters, which can consist of members of various character classes. The game world is presented to the player in first person perspective. In the earlier games the interface is very similar to that of Bard's Tale, but from Might and Magic VI: The Mandate of Heaven onward, the interface features a three-dimensional environment. Combat is turn-based, though the later games allowed the player to choose to conduct combat in real time.
The game worlds in all of the Might and Magic games are quite large, and a player can expect each game to provide several dozen hours of gameplay. It is usually quite combat-intensive and often involves large groups of enemy creatures. Monsters and situations encountered throughout the series tend to be well-known fantasy staples such as giant rats, werewolf curses, dragon flights and zombie hordes, rather than original creations. Isles of Terra and the Xeen games featured a more distinct environment, blending fantasy and science fiction elements in a unique way.

The Might and Magic games have some replay value as the player can choose their party composition, develop different skills, choose sides, do quests in a different order, hunt for hidden secrets and easter eggs, and/or change difficulty level.
Plot(edit)
Although most of the gameplay reflects a distinctly fantasy genre, the overarching plot of the first nine games has something of a science fiction background. The series is set in a fictional galaxy as part of an alternative universe, where planets are overseen by a powerful race of space travelers known as Ancients. In each of the games, a party of characters fights monsters and completes quests on one of these planets, until they eventually become involved in the affairs of the Ancients. Might and Magic could as such be considered an example of science fantasy.
The producer of the series was Jon Van Caneghem.(2) Van Caneghem has stated in interview(3) that the Might and Magic setting is inspired by his love for both science fiction and fantasy. He cites The Twilight Zone and the Star Trek episode For the World is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky as having inspired Might and Magic lore.
The first five games in the series concern the renegade guardian of the planet Terra, named Sheltem, who becomes irrevocably corrupted, developing a penchant for throwing planets into their suns. Sheltem establishes himself on a series of flat worlds known as nacelles (which are implied to be giant spaceships) and Corak, a second guardian and creation of the Ancients, with the assistance of the player characters, pursues him across the Void. Eventually both Corak and Sheltem are destroyed in a climactic battle on the nacelle of Xeen.
The sixth, seventh and eighth games take place on Enroth, a single planet partially ruled by the Ironfist dynasty, and chronicle the events and aftermath of an invasion by the Kreegan (colloquially referred to as Devils), the demonlike arch-enemies of the Ancients. It is also revealed that the destruction wrought by the Ancients' wars with the Kreegan is the reason why the worlds of Might & Magic exist as medieval fantasy settings despite once being seeded with futuristic technology – the worlds have been 'cut off' from the Ancients and descended into barbarism. The first through third games in the Heroes of Might and Magic series traces the fortunes of the Ironfists in more detail. None of the science fiction elements appear in the Heroes series besides the appearance of Kreegan characters in Heroes of Might and Magic III and IV.
The Ubisoft release Might & Magic X: Legacy departs from this continuity and is set in the world of Ashan.(4) Ashan is a high fantasy setting with no science fiction elements in its lore.(5)Flv player for mac os.
Reception(edit)
Might and Magic is considered one of the defining examples of early role-playing video games, along with The Bard's Tale, Ultima and Wizardry series.(6) By March 1994, combined sales of the Might and Magic series totaled 1 million units.(7) The number rose to 2.5 million sales by November 1996.(8) and 4 million by March 1999.(9)

Voltron: Parallels in Season 7
Before I dive into the belly of the beast that is what the rest of the fandom has to think about this season, I have noted parallels that I saw while watching it. These are scenes that relate back to earlier seasons, or even episodes in the same season. I find these pretty spectacular, as they pull together the many things that happen across the series. Please, add to this list by reblogging if there are any you saw that I did not! Also, this is all speculative and just based on my fan observations. I also do not have the time or energy to go back and enter in all of the episode names/numbers from prior seasons, or even from earlier in the season--I just marathon’d all 13 episodes and have little energy left. Cut me some slack!
The nose-dive maneuver Shiro shows Keith appears several times (S1e1, s7e1); also, Know Your Enemy, when they come to touch down on Earth and Keith has to pullup at the perfect time to avoid crashing
Running out of time: *The Ruins: Planet works together with Blades to defeat Druids, but Druids come before they can finish preparing *The Last Stand, pt. 1: Earth finally comes together to prep for Galra invasion, but Galra come before they can finish preparing
Elephants:
*Lance explains what an elephant is
*Last Stand, pt. 2: Elephants appear when Galra ships are touching down on Earth.
Gendo Ikari/Evangelion Reference?:
*In The Last Stand, pt. 2, Sam Holt holds a familiar looking position with his hands intertwined and glasses lit up. Coincidence, or Easter Egg?
Thousands of little space creatures working together, flying toward one source (The Journey Within): *Thousands of communication signal things fly together across the globe, with one goal (reaching Voltron); (The Last Stand, pt. 2)
Bravery:
*The Journey Within: Keith calls Hunk a coward. *Know Your Enemy: Keith says that Hunk is the embodiment of bravery.
Lance considers himself to be the "ninja sharpshooter”: *in Heart of the Lion, he helps Keith and Pidge go undetected like ninjas, and snipes out enemy drones.
Shiro’s Limbs:
*Heart of the Lion: Shiro WILLINGLY undergoes surgery to gain a mechanical arm embued with Altean energy. *This parallels season 1, where he UNWILLINGLY was kidnapped, fitted with a Galran arm, and was later unwillingly strapped to a quarantine table by the Garrison.
Ground-tactics:
*Heart of the Lion: Keith and Pidge show each other non-conventional gestures/signals for proceeding to defeat the guards.
*This parallels a scene earlier on when Griffin uses conventional, military/garrison-style gestures to proceed with his team. Demonstrates the differences between Paladins and the Garrison soldiers, and goes alongside their conflicts in the episode on how to perform actions.
To Save Earth:
*Trial by Fire: The leader of the Garrison sells out Voltron to Sendak in secret, but with hopes of saving Earth. *This parallels when Sam Holt and Carren Holt go against orders, and spread their plan to the entire world. Their massive communication breach is opposite of the former, where she kept her plans entirely to herself.
Dark Matter?:
*The Journey Within: Lance brings up Dark Matter (some think they can be connected to Black Holes in physics/astronomy???), not quite understanding what it is. It is merely dark due to nebula-cover.
*Trial by Fire: The crystal made from a compressed-Black Hole (from the destruction of the Castle of Lions) and its technology help The Atlas get off the ground. It creates a burst of light.
Shiro vs Sendak:
*They meet again!
*Also, their floaty-arms.
Again, feel free to add to this list!!

Joaquin Phoenix and girlfriend Rooney Mara enjoyed a movie date night on Friday, at Universal Cinemas at the Universal CityWalk in Universal City, California. While rumors that they were dating first surfaced earlier this year, the couple remained low-key at dinner, though Phoenix was sporting a disheveled, faded red-orange dye job that was hard to miss.
"He had his arm around Rooney as they waited at the concession stand. They looked cute together like they were having a normal, couple's night out," an eyewitness tells ET. "Rooney seemed to be the one looking around, on alert for anyone who might recognize or spot them, looking around every so often."
Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick enjoyed a family fun day bowling with their kids, Penelope and Reign, at Bowlero in Woodland Hills, California, on Thursday.
The group chowed down on fries, and were spotted filming for an upcoming Keeping up with the Kardashians episode. Kourtney and Penelope's sweet bowling names were "Banana" and "Blueberry" while Scott and his youngest son Reign went by "Batman" and "Robin."
The Weeknd, Drake, French Montana, Big Sean, Amber Rose, Travis Scott and more celebrated rapper Belly’s birthday at a private residence in Beverly Hills, California, on Friday, April 7. The group partied until 4 a.m. with Grey Goose cocktails like Le Grand Fizz, High Five, Le Melon Mule and Grey Goose VX.
The "Starboy" crooner threw the bash for Belly, but he only had eyes for his main squeeze: Selena Gomez. The cuddly duo spent most of the night huddled in a corner behind a wall of security. Guests saw the couple showing off some major PDA, and sneaking in and out of the tent throughout the party.

Elsewhere in couples' news on Friday, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd were spotted leaving a date night at Chin Chin in West Hollywood, California. An eyewitness tells ET that the Dancing With the Stars pros left the restaurant’s back entrance shortly after 7 p.m. The twosome, who recently welcomed a son together, were "touchy-feely" and "intimate,” while leaving the parking lot.
At one point, Maks even pulled Peta in from behind and had his arm around her waist as they walked in unison to a black Mercedes.
Meanwhile, Ireland Baldwin, Debby Ryan and Jeannie Mai attended an intimate dinner hosted by footwear giant UGG and Darling Magazine in the hills of Los Angeles, California. Chef and food blogger Lee Tilghman prepared a three-course organic dinner for guests who participated in intimate conversation led by the magazine’s editor- in-chief, Sarah Dubbeldam, about women’s empowerment, health and wellness, pop culture and the changing seasons.
The event was the latest in a series of regularly hosted dinners by Darling Magazine across the nation, where subscribers and influencers are invited to come together for an evening of conversation over a nice meal. The driving inspiration behind this facet of the Darling Movement is to bring people together to share and express their individual ideas and opinions, whether they have been friends for years or acquaintances for five minutes

WandaVision Episode 3 Theories Explained
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
This article contains spoilers for WandaVision episodes 1-3, and the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The internet is full of places to go and thrash it out with likeminded overthinkers if you become obsessed with a particular TV show. Lost, Breaking Bad, Twin Peaks and Game of Thrones all boasted thriving fan communities who had a blast dreaming up theories about where their series’ story was heading. Now, Marvel’s WandaVision has tapped into the natural curiosity of viewers with its wall-to-wall Easter eggs and mysterious MCU nods, and people have gone full ‘It’s Always Sunny red string meme’ over them.
You don’t need to dig too far to find comment sections, YouTube videos and Reddit threads jam-packed with theories about WandaVision, so we’ve been mulling over what might be going on beneath the surface.
Here are some of the most intriguing fan theories about WandaVision, three episodes in…
Online Catch
Just as Ultron’s consciousness could escape into the internet during Avengers: Age of Ultron, a developing WandaVision theory posits that Vision didn’t exactly ‘die’ by Thanos (and Wanda’s) hand in Avengers: Infinity War, but found a safe space to hide online instead, much like JARVIS did after Ultron destroyed him in the lab.
By creating a new reality stitched together from old TV sitcoms and potentially using the late Tony Stark’s burgeoning BARF tech, Wanda may have found a way to slowly bring Vision back to his body without the Mind Stone as an essential component – hey, Shuri thought was an option – but if these efforts to retrieve Vision from the internet are all above board, why is SWORD so desperate to get information on what’s happening inside Wanda’s Westview nook?

Camp Lehigh
Camp Lehigh has popped up in the MCU a fair few times so far. The New Jersey military base was where Captain America trained in the 1940s, has been a SHIELD facility, a HYDRA hub, and a storage home for the Tesseract. Lehigh even housed Arnim Zola’s brain after his body died. Since Westview is supposedly in New Jersey, is it really Camp Lehigh?
There’s a theory that after the Avengers compound was destroyed during Avengers: Endgame, Wanda may have been taken to a hastily-rebuilt Camp Lehigh in the midst of her grief, eventually constructing a forcefield around an altered version of it at some point and shutting out SWORD, hence SWORD’s continuing efforts to penetrate it.

Power Swap
Some viewers were puzzled by Vision’s accelerated speed when he flipped through the playing cards during his magic act in episode 2 and when he ran to get the doctor in episode 3, which we haven’t really seen before as part of his powers. Vision can phase through matter, and can also fly at an accelerated speed, but these moments felt more Quicksilver-ish in their nature. Has Wanda or whoever is behind the creation of Westview pieced this new version of Vision together with shattered memories of others that she’s loved and lost?

Welcome to Skrullville
Wanda’s Westview neighbors may not be willing or able to reveal their true nature yet, but some people are wondering whether they will turn out to be a gang of shapeshifting Skrulls, just like Ben Mendelsohn’s Captain Marvel character, Talos. How the Skrulls could have possibly become roped into the scenario is currently anyone’s guess, but we do know the alien race will play a pivotal role in Marvel’s upcoming Nick Fury-centric Disney+ series, Secret Invasion.

Young Avengers
Now that Wanda’s twins could conceivably grow up to become their Wiccan and Speed comics counterparts, it may be a chance for Marvel to pave the way for Young Avengers, a team whose line-up has previously included Kate Bishop (soon to be introduced in Disney+ series Hawkeye), Cassie Lang (Ant-Man’s now-grownup daughter) and America Chavez (already reportedly cast in Doctor Strange in the Multitude of Madness). We wrote more about Billy and Tommy, and what they could mean for the MCU, right here.

The Butterfly Effect
We’ve been told that WandaVision will set up the events of Marvel’s Sorcerer Supreme sequel, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, so fans have been keeping their eyes peeled for ties to Strange’s comics history and his MCU story so far. Episode 3 seemed to make a couple of nods to the good Doctor – after Westview’s OB-GYN Dr. Nielson checks on Wanda’s pregnancy progress, Vision assures him he has nerves of steel, and calls him “Mr. Doctor”, a callback to Strange’s banter with villain Kaecilius (Mads Mikkelsen).
There are also the butterflies that materialize as Wanda is preparing to give birth to her twins, one of which lands on Vision and looks very similar to the first ‘out of place’ thing Strange sees after he’s taken on a mind-melting tour of the multiverse by The Ancient One in Doctor Strange. As he heads up into the Earth’s atmosphere, Strange notices a single butterfly remarkably like those that flutter into Wanda’s nursery, and when The Ancient One begins to talk Strange through opening his mind’s eye, she asks “What is real? What mysteries lie beyond the reach of your senses? At the root of existence, mind and matter meet. Thoughts shape reality.” Hmm…

Westview Is Mephisto’s Womb
There’s a theory flying around online that Westview is acting as a kind of mystical womb that will eventually give birth to a fully-realised Mephisto in our world. The Marvel Comics villain and all-around pain in the ass has already been teased in a trailer for Disney+’s Loki series, but may first come to fruition inside Wanda’s powerful-but-twisted reality.
A specific creature has featured in each episode of WandaVision so far. Some fans think these are Mephisto’s evolving “animal stages” – first appearing as a lobster to represent “mating for life” (they don’t, but sitcom Friends played a large part in the myth), a rabbit representing reproduction, and a stork manifesting during the “birth” stage of episode 3. Will Wanda and Vision get a young puppy in the next episode? Probably!

Hawkeye Will Save the Day
Apart from Vision, Clint Barton is the Avenger with the closest relationship to Wanda. He inspired her to take action and fight her way through her fear during the final battle with Ultron and his hoards in Avengers: Age of Ultron, and it was Clint who came to her aid when Tony Stark put her under house arrest in Captain America: Civil War.
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });
At the time, Tony took his frustrations out on Steve for helping to concoct the plan to pull Wanda out, saying Steve rescued Wanda “from a place she doesn’t even want to leave, a safe place.” Scarlet Witch didn’t take much convincing to leave the Avengers’ compound during Civil War, so Tony’s assertions felt off, but in WandaVision she genuinely doesn’t seem to want to leave her safe bubble.
Though many online rumors point to Doctor Strange facing off against Wanda at the end of the series, will Hawkeye actually be the one who breaks through to her?
Pinches of Paprika Out of Ten: 5
No It’s Becky
It’s long been rumored that Evan Peters has a role in WandaVision. The actor continued to play the X-Men’s Pietro Maximoff, aka Quicksilver, long after the MCU had killed off its own version of the speedster at the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron, and he quickly became a fan favorite. Could WandaVision’s upcoming Roseanne homage be key to how Peters briefly enters the MCU?
If you recall, Roseanne Barr’s successful sitcom replaced her daughter Becky with another actress – Scrubs star Sarah Chalke – when original star Lecy Goranson left, and the audience was expected to accept it. With Wanda’s mind now lingering on the loss of her twin brother Pietro, this could be the kind of classic TV trope we could expect to see, and it would also be a fun-but-bittersweet appearance for Marvel fans who have probably seen the last of Peters as Quicksilver in the X-Men film franchise.

Ad Infinity
HYDRA has clearly been a factor in WandaVision’s commercial breaks, with the organization’s logo appearing during two of them so far, but what if the theme of the ads goes beyond its callback to Wanda’s pre-Age of Ultron experiments under HYDRA boss Baron Wolfgang von Strucker, and represents the unique capabilities of the Infinity Stones, too?
A growing swathe of MCU fans think the Stark toaster represents the Power Stone, the Strucker watch represents the Time Stone, and that the team behind WandaVision weren’t really hiding Hydra Soak’s likeness to the Space Stone/Tesseract during episode 3.
Post-Endgame, the stones were reduced to the atomic level by Thanos, but the Space Stone may still be out there in its Tesseract form thanks to Loki’s thieving hands. It can’t be a coincidence that Hydra Soak is the more fully-formed MacGuffin here, can it?
Is it just me or those the “Hydra Soak” look a lot like the tesseract… from WANDAVISION

Watchmen Episode 7 Easter Eggs Explained
https://ift.tt/2LeE5DF
More big secrets are revealed in HBO's Watchmen episode 7, and we're here to help you make sense of it all!
facebook
twitter
tumblr
This article contains Watchmen spoilers.
Watchmen episode 7, “An Almost Religious Awe,” is the hour where the remaining big questions finally start getting answered. And in the case of its last scene, it may even answer a question that you might not even realize had been asked in the first place. But from its first scene to its final moment, there’s a ton of info packed into this episode, from the mystery of why Angela Abar adopted the masked identity of Sister Night to the actual whereabouts of Dr. Manhattan. In fact, that last one is a good place to start.
AN ALMOST RELIGIOUS AWE
- The episode’s title “An Almost Religious Awe” takes its name from a line in the book, where it’s revealed via Dr. Manhattan’s own narration that many North Vietnamese wanted to surrender directly and personally to him, “...their terror of me balanced by an almost religious awe.”
You can see that “almost religious awe” in how VVN day is celebrated in Vietnam, where Dr. Manhattan is more omnipresent than Santa Claus at Christmas or Uncle Sam at the Fourth of July.
DR. MANHATTAN
The episode opens with footage from a documentary about Dr. Manhattan, which is thoroughly packed with Easter eggs and even some new revelations about our good pal Jon Osterman.
Among those, we get a New Frontiersman newspaper headline with Jon on the moon alongside Neil Armstrong, with the words “The Right Stuff,” our first HBO-ified look at great moments in Dr. Manhattan history like Osterman Fine Watches or the exterior of Gila Flats, magazine ads touting Manhattan-led technology innovations like the lithium batteries that powered his first wave of cars (one of which is named the Ford Andromeda), the color news footage of the famed panel from the book showcasing a giant Dr. Manhattan on the battlefields of the Vietnam War, the October 30, 1985 New York Gazette headline announcing his departure for Mars, and more!
Another important one is the Nova Express cover story that ended up being so pivotal to the events of the book, where Doug Roth wrote the expose (based on false info planted by Adrian Veidt) about the link between Dr. Manhattan and cancer deaths in people who associated with him.
There’s one more hidden detail in that New York Gazette headline, as a side story seems to say something along the lines of “Italians Flock to Rome to Protect Decaying State City.” Presumably, this is a reference to Vatican City, and it’s it’s “decaying” in 1985, it’s another clue to the idea that religion has fallen almost completely out of favor in the Watchmen universe after the arrival of Dr. Manhattan in the mid-20th century.
- The Dr. Manhattan puppeteer on VVN Day being the mastermind of an attack is apt because of Manhattan’s whole “I’m just a puppet that can see the strings” philosophy from the book.
- The episode ends with Angela holding Dr. Manhattan’s symbol as a blue glow envelops her. Yes, it turns out that Cal is actually Dr. Manhattan. We wrote more about the implications of all of this right here.
- Incidentally, if you ever catch me misidentifying Jon Osterman as Jon (or Jim) Osterberg, it’s because I keep confusing Dr. Manhattan’s former name with the former name of Iggy Pop. Both of these gentlemen are beings of immense power with a penchant for nudity and zero percent body fat, and both have been known to inspire “an almost religious awe.”
YOUNG ANGELA
It’s tough to find an exact date for this first sequence depicting Angela’s childhood, however, there are a few clues. You can clearly see a VHS copy of Ghostbusters on one of the racks. Ghostbusters wasn’t released on VHS until October of 1985, so that, along with the fact that the documentary narration audible in the store indicates that this takes place after Dr. Manhattan left Earth. We can also assume that VVN Day takes place in May or early June, thanks to a mention in the book, where Dr. Manhattan talks about being in Vietnam in May and that “the Vietcong are expected to surrender within the week.” So most likely, this is taking place in May or June of 1986, which makes Angela approximately 10 years old.
- The song that plays during the VVN day sequence earl in the episode is another tell for the fact that this comes after November ‘85. James Brown’s “Living in America” wasn’t released until December of 1985. It was also, notoriously, a centerpiece of Rocky IV.
- Burgers n’ Borscht is a fast food joint from the book and its presence also places the events of Angela’s childhood here after the events of 11/2/85. Why? Because the melding of US and Russian cultures in such an absurdly commercial way comes about AFTER a new spirit of cooperation is forged because of the “threat” of extradimensional invasion successfully forged by Ozymandias.
- There are three key movies on the VHS spinner rack that young Angela Abar is perusing. The first, obviously, is Sister Night, which should need no explanation. Amusingly, the blurb on the cover reads “A nun with a motherfucking gun” which is also the name of a track on the Watchmen soundtrack from episode 1. In many ways, giving Angela a relatively straightforward origin story (inspired by a fictional hero) puts her almost in line with both versions of Nite Owl from the book (and, of course, Hooded Justice as we now understand him), the few characters who become heroes because it's the right thing to do.
Now, as for those other two movies…
One is Fogdancing, the movie adaptation of the novel by Tales of the Black Freighter writer and unwitting pawn in Adrian Veidt’s schemes, Max Shea. The movie apparently is quite good, as there’s an awards laurel visible on the box and hell, it was directed by David Cronenberg! The painting of the protagonist, with his back to us, is of a man with a ponytail and blond hair, which is very similar to what Max Shea looked like in the book. Its tagline? “When War Makes Monsters of Us All…” Ugh, can you imagine how amazing a Watchmen movie directed by David Cronenberg circa 1986 would have been? Between this and Steven Spielberg's Pale Horse, the alternate history of Watchmen also has some intriguing movie projects.
The other is Silk Swingers, a crappy exploitation movie from the late ‘40s that dramatized (apparently quite poorly) the early career of the first Silk Spectre, Sally Jupiter, the mother of FBI Agent Laurie Blake.
There are also several kids movies about elephants, Trunky and Tusky. Considering how important elephants are later in the episode (and how Lady Trieu's mother wrote a book called Pachyderm Mom) these are also significant. We won’t talk about some of the other showcased fare like Porked! Down on the Farm and The Raunchy Pistol.
- Angela lying to Lady Trieu about what she sees in her memory with something innocent (a pony at her birthday party) mirrors Walter “Rorschach” Kovacs lying to his prison psychiatrist in the book about what he sees during a blot test (Rorschach sees a dog with its head split in two, he lies that it’s “a pretty butterfly”).
THE FATE OF LOOKING GLASS REVEALED
- There are back issues of New Frontiersman in Wade Tillman’s bunker, specifically ones related to the squid rain, so he probably isn’t a reactionary kook. That’s the only thing worth noting, right? NOPE!
- In other/better/more important news, Detective Looking Glass lives! The carnage left after everyone’s favorite lonely masked cop turned no fewer than five members of the 7th Kavalry into racist McNuggets is kinda reminiscent of the disarray that the apartment of the original Nite Owl, Hollis Mason, was left in after a gang of Knot-Tops broke in and murdered him in the book. Only here, things turned out very differently for the home invaders.
THE TRIAL OF ADRIAN VEIDT
- Ozymandias has been on trial, in full uniform no less, for a full year. I believe we just need one more year to get Adrian’s story caught up to the main story back on Earth.
- The one commandment that Veidt is supposed to live by, and that his “subjects” certainly live by, is “Thou shalt not leave.” It makes the circumstances of Veidt’s arrival that much more questionable.
- You can see a courtroom sketch of the squid that Veidt used to kill millions, as well as a Black Freighter seal behind the head of the Judge/Game Warden.
LADY TRIEU
- So it turns out that Bian, Lady Trieu’s daughter, is...actually a clone of Lady Trieu’s mother. Who was also named Bian. The elder Bian wrote a book called Pachyderm Mom (there’s that elephant symbolism again) about how she intended to raise Lady Trieu to be exactly the kind of embodiment of genius and perfection that she ultimately turned out to be. And according to Peteypedia, those methods sound awfully similar to how we see Lady Trieu raising the younger Bian. So, while it sounds crazy...is it possible that Lady Trieu is ALSO a clone of her mother?
Lady Trieu’s Millennium Clock launch speech refers to how she wanted Nostalgia to be a way for us to evolve. Veidt, incidentally, had hoped to evolve people into a more superheroic mindset with his “Veidt Method” and Millennium line, both of which were failures.
It’s also worth noting that the 7th Kavalry are using stolen Trieu Industries tech to build...whatever the hell it is they’re building. Unless, of course, it isn’t stolen. But that’s too dark and I prefer not to think about that.
MISCELLANEOUS STUFF
- I don’t know why the remote control for Mrs. Crawford’s trap door says WILSON on it. There is indeed a “Wilson Electronics” but this doesn’t seem like the kind of product they make.
- While Paul Young had the big hit with “Every Time You Go Away,” the version that’s playing in this episode is the vastly superior Hall and Oates original.
- Cal is reading Hemingway’s For Whom the Bell Tolls.
- The closing credits are an instrumental version of David Bowie’s “Life on Mars” by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Reznor's Nine Inch Nails toured with Bowie in the ‘90s and they collaborated on several songs. This brilliant, beautiful version of one of the most brilliant, beautiful songs ever written is killing me dead.
