If you’ve ever got the opportunity to spend a little time admiring jellyfish, you’d best take it. They’re soothing, little immortals with their mindless movements and serene colors. You’re particularly lucky if you get to see them with colorful lights 🪼

This particular bunch are moon jellies at the Seattle Aquarium’s Ring of Life exhibit.

yes !! ive heard a lot of super good things about montery bay aquarium , and the research coming from there is super cool ... i dream of their jellyfish displays .... also shoutout to seattle aquariums !! i went there in 2019 , and i still think ab it a lot, esp the seals on the pier !! ^^

10- tell me what aquatic animal(s) you think is severely underrated ｡˚ 𓆝

not necessarily underrated and more so underesearched- but eirine lactoides, definitely !! i simply cannot find any research articles or info about their origins apart from the fact they were created under captivity in the 90's . i think we need to talk much much more ab them :3

also the sea elephant !! its arguably better than sea angels- the worm on a strings of the ocean . theyre a super cool depsea creature that stays from 100-300m below sea level , but there isnt much research on them either :((

I may or may not be positively obsessed with the Seattle Aquarium and our friends there.

At the Seattle Aquarium, you can learn more about the local marine life as well as learn about conservation and research efforts. Through local collaboration and education, we can work towards lessening and possibly even reversing the harm we’ve done to our environment.
