To preface: I never watched Yingdu or finished all of season 2 despite being spoiled for the end of s2 and some minor ones for Yingdu.

That said, here are some of my ramblings:

Also, old men yaoi? Pfff get on my level, old women Yuri is far superior (especially in donghua).

In conclusion: I love a women-focused episode, yay. Wait, is it woman focused if it is CXS and LG inherently involved.. and CXS is a man despite possessing her body at the time-
