MOON LETTERS - “On The Shoreline” (UNTIL THEY FEEL THE SUN - 2019)
Moon Letters is a local Seattle band I’ve know since its inception. Actually, I knew these guys prior to that when they were in other bands. I’ve played Moon Letters demos on The Progressive Tracks Show. I’ve attended many of their live shows. I’ve bought merch. I’ve loved every minute of this association. These are not only talented, but great guys... and I’ve always been a cheerleader for their success!
While music is a tough business, Progressive Rock is an almost impossible business to succeed in. But after their astounding performance at 2019′s SeaProg Festival, Moon Letters got what seemed to be their big break, when they were recruited for the 2020 Rites Of Spring Festival (RoSFest) in Florida this coming May (with the likes of Big Big Train, Cast, Thank You Scientist, and the United Progressive Fraternity) .
Well, as you can well imagine, RosFest has now been cancelled because of the COVID-19 outbreak, and Moon Letters has hunkered down like the rest of us to ride this one out.
I’m posting this because, despite this ‘Act of God’ setback for them, this is a band that is going places. So I think you should get to know their music (BTW, “Until They Feel The Sun” made several reviewers’ Top 10 Lists for 2019).
Check out their excellent debut album here: “Until They Feel The Sun” *
* On March 20th, Bandcamp is waiving any fees for bands, so 100% of purchases go to the bands.
ARTISTS: John Allday: Keyboards, Vocals. Trumpet; Mike Murphy: Bass, Vocals, Trumpet; Kelly Mynes: Drums, Percussion; Michael Trew: Vocals, Flute; Dave Webb: Guitars

Headed down to SeaProg last night and saw a pretty rad show by #FreeSalamanderExhibit! Band was rocking some interesting pagan type costumes. So I worked up this little drawing for the fun of it. Enjoy :) #SeaProg #Seattle #ConcertSketch #Instaartist #artoftheday #pagan #WitchesBass

THE PROGRESSIVE TRACKS SHOW #316 (SEAPROG 2019 FESTIVAL WRAP-UP SHOW)
What's better than a couple of SeaProg 2019 artists? How about ALL the SeaProg 2019 artists!
While I'm away (at SeaProg, of course)... the artists will play (yes, different tracks), as well as introduce themselves. The minimal banter from me makes this show even better!
If you're unable to join us at SeaProg, you can use this to pretend you were there. If you are at SeaProg, you can use it to remind yourself of the amazing time you had.
ALL SeaProg shows from 2017 to 2019 posted on Progzilla Radio can be found here: http://www.progzilla.com/?s=seaprog
And you can stream/download this, and any of the over 150 previous podcast editions of The Progressive Tracks Show broadcast on Progzilla Radio, any time you want at: http://www.progzilla.com/?s=progressive+tracks.

Here's a link to ALL the SeaProg Festival radio shows for 2017-2019 if:
(1) You're getting 'antsy' waiting for SeaProg 2019 to begin, and you need help to get through this next week.
(2) You feel the need to 'warm up' your ears for the 3-day aural marathon, by blasting like-fare for an extended time.
(3) You're just curious what I've been up to the past couple of months. (Nah, probably not that one).
Oh well, the first two are legit (I know, I'm one of you). 😏
Thanks to everyone who's taken the time to stream, download and/or subscribe to a show...it does my heart good to know you're listening. 🙂

(1:30 PM BST / 8:30 AM EDT / 5:30 AM PDT) The Progressive Tracks Show has been the ‘voice of SeaProg’ since its inception in 2013, and Mike kicks off his in-depth, 6-week coverage of the artists playing this year’s Seattle Festival of Avant and Progressive Rock 2019 with tracks and conversation with Marbin and The Sheen. Warning: Listening to this show may force you to spend your money to get to Seattle to attend SeaProg 2019. Just don’t say Mike didn’t warn you.

THE PROGRESSIVE TRACKS SHOW #262 (SeaProg Festival Preview - Show #4)
Two words: “World Premiere”.
OK, two more words: “Cheer-Accident” (or is that one word because it’s hyphenated?). I never was good at grammar... I’m better at playing good music.
;o)
We’re accelerating the coverage of the Seattle Festival of Avant and Progressive Rock (SeaProg) 2018, featuring four wonderfully different artists this week, including an exclusive world premiere track from the upcoming Cheer-Accident album, “Fades”!
The SeaProg preparation continues… so grab your old SeaProg t-shirt from the closet and your favorite beverage from the fridge, sit back, and prepare to be prepared. SeaProg... SeaProg... SeaProg.
Remember, you can access any previous SeaProg shows at: http://www.progzilla.com/?s=progressive+tracks+seaprog or drop the ‘seaprog’ from that link to get any edition of The Progressive Tracks Show (there are over 100 now!).

THE PROGRESSIVE TRACKS SHOW #367 (2020 SeaProg-ish Festival #3)
Sadly, the 2020 SeaProg Festival has been cancelled due to COVID-19. But that doesn't mean we can't get acquainted with some of the artists who were scheduled to play for us.
This week it's one of the best guitarists in the business... Jane Getter. We'll feature Jane, her all-star band, and other stellar artists who have performed at previous SeaProg festivals.
Remember, you can access podcasts of any previous Progressive Tracks Show at: http://www.progzilla.com/?s=progressive+tracks (there are now over 200 shows available!).
